1. అమ్మోనీయులనుగూర్చి యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఇశ్రాయేలునకు కుమారులు లేరా? అతనికి వారసుడు లేకపోయెనా? మల్కోము గాదును ఎందుకు స్వతంత్రించుకొనును? అతని ప్రజలు దాని పట్టణములలో ఎందుకు నివసింతురు?

1. Of the sons of Ammon-Thus saith Yahweh: Hath Israel no, sons? Hath he no, heir? Why hath, Malkam, taken possession of Gad, Or have, his people, in the cities thereof, made their dwelling?

2. కాగా యెహోవా ఈలాగున సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు రాగల దినములలో నేను అమ్మోనీయుల పట్టణమగు రబ్బా మీదికి వచ్చు యుద్ధము యొక్క ధ్వని వినబడజేసెదను; అది పాడుదిబ్బయగును, దాని ఉపపురములు అగ్నిచేత కాల్చబడును, దాని వారసులకు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు వారసులగుదురని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు.

2. Therefore, lo! days are coming, Declareth Yahweh When I will cause to be heard against Rabbah of the sons of Ammon, an alarm of war, So shall she become a mound of desolation, And, her villages, with fire, shall blaze, Then shall Israel, inherit them who inherited him, Saith Yahweh.

3. హెష్బోనూ, అంగ లార్చుము, హాయి పాడాయెను, మల్కోమును అతని యాజకులును అతని యధిపతులును చెరలోనికి పోవు చున్నారు; రబ్బా నివాసినులారా, కేకలువేయుడి, గోనెపట్ట కట్టుకొనుడి, మీరు అంగలార్చి కంచెలలో ఇటు అటు తిరుగులాడుడి.

3. Howl, O Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled Make outcry, ye daughters of Rabbah, Gird you with sackcloth, Lament ye and run to and fro among the fences, For, Malkam, into captivity, shall go, His priests and his princes, together.

4. విశ్వాసఘాతకురాలా నా యొద్దకు ఎవడును రాలేడని నీ ధనమునే ఆశ్రయముగా చేసికొన్నదానా,

4. Why shouldst thou glory in the vales, The flowing of thy vale O apostate daughter? She who is trusting in her treasures, saying, Who shall invade, me?

5. నీ లోయలో జలములు ప్రవహించు చున్నవని, నీవేల నీ లోయలనుగూర్చి యతిశయించు చున్నావు? ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు

5. Behold me! bringing upon thee, terror Declareth My Lord, Yahweh of hosts, From all who are round about thee, And ye shall be driven out every man before it, And there shall be none to bring home the wanderer;

6. నేను నీ చుట్టునున్న వారందరివలన నీకు భయము పుట్టించు చున్నాను; మీరందరు శత్రువుని కెదురుగా తరుమబడు దురు, పారిపోవువారిని సమకూర్చు వాడొకడును లేక పోవును, అటుతరువాత చెరలోనున్న అమ్మోనీయులను నేను రప్పించెదను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

6. But afterwards, will I bring back the captivity of the sons of Ammon, Declareth Yahweh.

7. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఎదోమునుగూర్చి ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు తేమానులో జ్ఞానమిక నేమియులేదా? వివేకులకు ఇక ఆలోచన లేకపోయెనా? వారి జ్ఞానము వ్యర్థమాయెనా?

7. Of Edom Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Is there no longer wisdom in Teman? Hath counsel perished from the discerning? Is their wisdom corrupt?

8. ఏశావును విమర్శించుచు నేనతనికి కష్టకాలము రప్పించుచున్నాను; దదానీయు లారా, పారిపోవుడి వెనుకకు మళ్లుడి బహులోతున దాగు కొనుడి.

8. Flee ye turn go down deep to dwell, O inhabitant of Dedan, For the doom of Esau, have I brought in upon him The time of his visitation.

9. ద్రాక్షపండ్లు ఏరువారు నీయొద్దకు వచ్చిన యెడల వారు పరిగెలను విడువరా? రాత్రి దొంగలు వచ్చినయెడల తమకు చాలునంత దొరుకువరకు నష్టము చేయుదురు గదా?

9. If, grape-gatherers, came to thee, Would they not leave, gleanings? If, thieves in the night, Would they not have taken away what sufficed them?

10. నేను ఏశావును దిగంబరినిగా చేయు చున్నాను, అతడు దాగియుండకుండునట్లు నేనతని మరుగు స్థలమును బయలుపరచుచున్నాను, అతని సంతానమును అతని స్వజాతివారును అతని పొరుగువారును నాశన మగు చున్నారు, అతడును లేకపోవును.

10. But, I, have stripped Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, And to conceal himself, shall he not be able! Spoiled, are his seed, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.

11. అనాధులగు నీ పిల్లలను విడువుము, నేను వారిని సంరక్షించెదను, నీ విధవరాండ్రు నన్ను ఆశ్రయింపవలెను.

11. Leave thy fatherless children I, will preserve them alive, And thy widows, In me, let them trust.

12. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు న్యాయముచేత ఆ పాత్రలోనిది త్రాగను రానివారు నిశ్చయముగా దానిలోనిది త్రాగుచున్నారే, నీవుమాత్రము బొత్తిగా శిక్ష నొందకపోవుదువా? శిక్ష తప్పించుకొనక నీవు నిశ్చయముగా త్రాగుదువు.

12. For, thus saith Yahweh Lo! they who had not been adjudged to drink the cup, shall surely drink, And art thou, the one to go unpunished? Thou shalt not go unpunished, but shalt surely drink.

13. బొస్రా పాడుగాను అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను ఎడారి గాను శాపవచనముగాను ఉండుననియు, దాని పట్టణము లన్నియు ఎన్నటెన్నటికి పాడుగానుండుననియు నా తోడని ప్రమాణము చేసియున్నానని యెహోవా సెల విచ్చుచున్నాడు.

13. or by myself, have I sworn, Declareth Yahweh, That, Bozrah shall become, an astonishment: a reproach and a desolation, and a contempt, And all her cities shall become age-abiding desolations.

14. యెహోవా యొద్దనుండి నాకు వర్త మానము వచ్చెను; జనముల యొద్దకు దూత పంపబడి యున్నాడు, కూడికొని ఆమెమీదికి రండి యుద్ధమునకు లేచి రండి.

14. A report, have I heard from Yahweh, Yea, an envoy, throughout the nations, hath been sent, Gather yourselves together and come against her, And arise to the battle.

15. జనములలో అల్పునిగాను మనుష్యులలో నీచునిగాను నేను నిన్ను చేయుచున్నాను.

15. For lo! Small, have I made thee among the nations, Despised among men!

16. నీవు భీకరుడవు; కొండసందులలో నివసించువాడా, పర్వత శిఖరమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొనువాడా, నీ హృదయగర్వము నిన్ను మోసపుచ్చెను, నీవు పక్షిరాజువలె నీ గూటిని ఉన్నత స్థలములో కట్టుకొనినను అక్కడనుండి నిన్ను క్రింద పడద్రోసెదను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

16. Thy monstrous thing, hath deceived thee, The insolence of thy heart, O thou that inhabitest the hidden recesses of the cliff, That boldest fast the height of the hill, Though thou set high as an eagle, thy nest, From thence, will I bring thee down, Declareth Yahweh;

17. ఎదోము పాడైపోవును, దాని మార్గమున నడుచువారు ఆశ్చర్యపడి దాని యిడుమలన్నియు చూచి వేళాకోళము చేయుదురు.

17. So shall, Edom, become an astonishment, Every one passing by her, will be astonished and hiss, over all her plagues:

18. సొదొమయు గొమొఱ్ఱాయు వాటి సమీప పట్టణములును పడగొట్టబడిన తరువాత వాటిలో ఎవడును కాపురముండక పోయినట్లు ఏ మనుష్యుడును అక్కడ కాపురముండడు, ఏ నరుడును దానిలో బసచేయడు.

18. Like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and her neighbours, Saith Yahweh, There shall not dwell there a man, Nor sojourn therein any son of the earth-born.

19. చిరకాలము నిలుచు నివాసమును పట్టుకొనవలెనని శత్రువులు యొర్దాను ప్రవాహములో నుండి సింహమువలె వచ్చుచున్నారు, నిమిషములోనే నేను వారిని దాని యొద్దనుండి తోలివేయుదును, నేనెవని నేర్పరతునో వానిని దానిమీద నియమించెదను; నన్ను పోలియున్న వాడై నాకు ఆక్షేపణ కలుగచేయువాడేడి? నన్ను ఎదిరింప గల కాపరియేడి?

19. Lo! like a lion, will he come up from the majesty of the Jordan, unto the pasture perennial, But I will wink I will make him run away therefrom, Who then shall be the Chosen One whom over it, I may set in charge? For who shall be like unto, me? And who shall appoint me, a time? And who is the Shepherd that shall stand before, me?

20. ఎదోమునుగూర్చి యెహోవా చేసిన ఆలోచన వినుడి. తేమాను నివాసులనుగూర్చి ఆయన ఉద్దేశించినదాని వినుడి. నిశ్చయముగా మందలో అల్పులైన వారిని శత్రువులు లాగుదురు, నిశ్చయముగా వారి నివాస స్థలము వారినిబట్టి ఆశ్చర్యపడును.

20. Wherefore, hear ye The counsel of Yahweh which he hath counseled against Edom, And his devices which he hath devised against the inhabitants of Teman, Surely the little ones of the flock shall drag them away, Surely he will cause their fold to be astounded over them.

21. వారు పడిపోగా అఖండమైన ధ్వని పుట్టెను; భూమి దానికి దద్దరిల్లుచున్నది, అంగలార్పు ఘోషయు ఎఱ్ఱసముద్రము దనుక వినబడెను.

21. At the noise of their fail, hath trembled the earth, At the outcry, in the Red Sea, was heard its noise.

22. శత్రువు పక్షిరాజువలె లేచి యెగిరి బొస్రామీద పడవలె నని తన రెక్కలు విప్పుకొనుచున్నాడు; ఆ దినమున ఎదోము బలాఢ్యుల హృదయములు ప్రసవించు స్త్రీ హృదయమువలె ఉండును.

22. Lo! as an eagle, he shall mount and dart, and spread his wings over Bozrah, So shall the heart of the heroes of Edom, in that day, become as the heart of a woman in her pain.

23. దమస్కును గూర్చిన వాక్కు. హమాతును అర్పాదును దుర్వార్త విని సిగ్గు పడు చున్నవి అవి పరవశములాయెను సముద్రముమీద విచారము కలదుదానికి నెమ్మదిలేదు.

23. Of Damascus. Turned pale have Hamath and Arpad, For, a calamitous report, have they heard they tremble, In the sea, is anxiety, it cannot, rest.

24. దమస్కు బలహీనమాయెను. పారిపోవలెనని అది వెనుకతీయుచున్నది వణకు దానిని పట్టెను ప్రసవించు స్త్రీని పట్టునట్లు ప్రయాసవేదనలు దానిని పట్టెను.

24. Enfeebled is Damascus She hath turned to flee But terror, hath seized her, Anguish and pangs, have seized her as a woman in childbirth.

25. ప్రసిద్ధిగల పట్టణము బొత్తిగా విడువబడెను నాకు ఆనందమునిచ్చు పట్టణము బొత్తిగా విడువ బడెను.

25. Alas! is she not forsaken The city so praised! The citadel I rejoiced in!

26. ఆమె ¸యౌవనులు ఆమె వీధులలో కూలుదురు ఆ దినమున యోధులందరు మౌనులైయుందురు ఇదే సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

26. Therefore shall her young men fail in her broadways, And, all her men of war, shall be silent in that day, Declareth Yahweh of hosts;

27. నేను దమస్కు ప్రాకారములో అగ్ని రాజబెట్టెదను అది బెన్హదదు నగరులను కాల్చివేయును.

27. Then will I kindle a fire in the walls of Damascus, And it shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.

28. బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు కొట్టిన కేదారును గూర్చియు హాసోరు రాజ్యములనుగూర్చియు యెహోవా సెల విచ్చినమాట లేచి కేదారునకు వెళ్లుడి తూర్పుదేశస్థులను దోచు కొనుడి.

28. Of Kedar. And of the kingdoms of Hazor Which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote Thus, saith Yahweh, Arise ye go up against Kedar, So shall they spoil the sons of the East:

29. వారి గుడారములను గొఱ్ఱెల మందలను శత్రువులు కొనిపోవుదురు తెరలను ఉపకరణములను ఒంటెలను వారు పట్టు కొందురు నఖముఖాల భయమని వారు దానిమీద చాటింతురు

29. Their tents and their flocks, shall they take, And their curtains and all their baggage b and their camels, shall they carry off for themselves, And shall cry out unto them, Terror round about!

30. హాసోరు నివాసులారా, బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు మీమీదికి రావలెనని ఆలోచన చేయుచున్నాడు మీమీద పడవలెనను ఉద్దేశముతో ఉన్నాడు యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే పారిపోవుడి బహులోతున వెళ్లుడి అగాధస్థలములలో దాగుడి

30. Flee remove far away, go deep to dwell, Ye inhabitants of Hazor, Urgeth Yahweh; For Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath counseled against you, a counsel, And devised against you a device.

31. మీరు లేచి ఒంటరిగా నివసించుచు గుమ్మములు పెట్టకయు గడియలు అమర్చకయు నిశ్చింతగాను క్షేమముగాను నివసించు జనముమీద పడుడి.

31. Arise ye, go up against a nation at ease dwelling securely, Commandeth Yahweh, Having neither doors nor bars, Alone, do they dwell:

32. వారి ఒంటెలు దోపుడుసొమ్ముగా ఉండును వారి పశువులమందలు కొల్లసొమ్ముగా ఉండును గడ్డపు ప్రక్కలను కత్తిరించుకొనువారిని నఖముఖాల చెదరగొట్టుచున్నాను నలుదిక్కులనుండి ఉపద్రవమును వారిమీదికి రప్పించుచున్నాను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు,

32. So shall their camels, become, a prey, And the throng of their cattle, a spoil, Then will I scatter them to every wind even the clipt-beards, And from all sides of him, will I bring in their doom Declareth Yahweh.

33. హాసోరు చిరకాలము పాడై నక్కలకు నివాస స్థలముగా ఉండును అక్కడ ఏ మనుష్యుడును కాపురముండడు ఏ నరుడును దానిలో బసచేయడు.

33. So shall Hazor become A habitation of jackals An astonishment unto times age-abiding: There shall not dwell there a man, Nor sojourn therein a son of the earth-born.

34. యూదారాజైన సిద్కియా యేలుబడి ఆరంభములో యెహోవా వాక్కు ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై ఏలామునుగూర్చి

34. So much of the word of Yahweh as came unto Jeremiah the prophet, Against Elam, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah saying:

35. ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనుసైన్యములకధిపతి యగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చినదేమనగానేను ఏలాము యొక్క బలమునకు ముఖ్యాధారమైన వింటిని విరుచు చున్నాను.

35. Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Behold me! breaking the bow of Elam, The beginning of their might;

36. నలుదిశలనుండి నాలుగు వాయువులను ఏలాముమీదికి రప్పించి, నలుదిక్కులనుండి వచ్చువాయు వులవెంట వారిని చెదరగొట్టుదును, వెలివేయబడిన ఏలాము వారు ప్రవేశింపని దేశమేదియు నుండదు.
ప్రకటన గ్రంథం 7:1

36. Then will I bring in against Elam four winds from the four quarters of the heavens, And will scatter them to all these winds, And there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam, shall not come;

37. మరియు వారి శత్రువులయెదుటను వారి ప్రాణము తీయజూచు వారియెదుటను ఏలామును భయపడ జేయుదును, నా కోపాగ్నిచేత కీడును వారి మీదికి నేను రప్పించుదును, వారిని నిర్మూలము చేయువరకు వారివెంట ఖడ్గము పంపు చున్నాను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

37. And I will cause Elam to be dismayed Before their enemies Even before them who are seeking their life, So will I bring upon them calamity, Even the glow of mine anger Declareth Yahweh, And will send after them the sword, until I have made an end of them;

38. నా సింహాసనమును అచ్చటనే స్థాపించి ఏలాములో నుండి రాజును అధిపతులను నాశనముచేయుదును; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

38. And I will set my throne in Elam, And will destroy, from thence king and princes, Declareth Yahweh;

39. అయితే కాలాంతమున చెరపట్టబడిన ఏలాము వారిని నేను మరల రప్పించెదను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

39. But it shall come to pass In the afterpart of the days, That I will bring back the captivity of Elam, Declareth Yahweh.
