1. Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:

2. 'Speak to Aaron and his sons. They must be consecrated by the holy offerings of the Israelites and must not profane my holy name; for my sake they must sanctify it; I am Yahweh.

3. Say to them: 'Any one of your descendants, for all time, who in a state of uncleanness approaches the holy offerings consecrated to Yahweh by the Israelites, will be outlawed from my presence. I am Yahweh.

4. అహరోను సంతానములో ఒకనికి కుష్ఠయినను స్రావమైనను కలిగినయెడల అట్టివాడు పవిత్రత పొందువరకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిలో దేనిని తినకూడదు. శవమువలని అపవిత్రతగల దేనినైనను ముట్టువాడును స్ఖలితవీర్యుడును,

4. 'Anyone of Aaron's line who is afflicted with a contagious skin-disease or a discharge will not eat holy things until he is clean. Anyone who touches anything made unclean by a dead body, or who has a seminal discharge,

5. అపవిత్రమైన పురుగునేమి యేదో ఒక అపవిత్రతవలన అపవిత్రుడైన మనుష్యునినేమి ముట్టువాడును, అట్టి అపవిత్రత తగిలినవాడును సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రుడగును.

5. or who is made unclean by touching any kind of reptile or any one who has contaminated him with his own uncleanness, be it what it may,

6. in short, anyone who has had any such contact will be unclean until evening, and must not eat holy things until he has washed his body.

7. At sunset he will be clean and may then eat holy things, for these are his food.

8. 'He must not eat an animal that has died a natural death or been savaged; he would contract uncleanness from it. I am Yahweh.

9. కాబట్టి నేను విధించిన విధిని అపవిత్రపరచి, దాని పాపభారమును మోసికొని దానివలన చావకుండునట్లు ఈ విధిని ఆచరించవలెను; నేను వారిని పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవాను.

9. 'They must keep my rules and not burden themselves with sin. If they profane them, they will incur death; I, Yahweh, have sanctified them.

10. అన్యుడు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినకూడదు, యాజకునియింట నివసించు అన్యుడేగాని జీతగాడేగాని ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినకూడదు,

10. 'No lay person may eat anything holy; no guest or employee of a priest may eat anything holy.

11. అయితే యాజకుడు క్రయధనమిచ్చి కొనినవాడును అతని యింట పుట్టినవాడును అతడు తిను ఆహారమును తినవచ్చును.

11. But if the priest has acquired a slave by purchase, the slave may eat it like anyone born in his household; they will share his food.

12. యాజకుని కుమార్తె అన్యుని కియ్యబడినయెడల ఆమె ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన వాటిలో ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణమును తినకూడదు.

12. 'If a priest's daughter marries a layman, she will have no share in the holy things set aside,

13. యాజకుని కుమార్తెలలో విధవరాలేకాని విడనాడబడినదే కాని సంతానము లేనియెడల ఆమె తన బాల్యమందువలె తన తండ్రి యింటికి తిరిగి చేరి తన తండ్రి ఆహారమును తినవచ్చును గాని అన్యుడెవడును దాని తినకూడదు.

13. but if she is widowed or divorced and, being childless, has had to return to her father's house as when she was young, she may share her father's food. No lay person may share it;

14. ఒకడు పొరబాటున ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినినయెడల వాడు ఆ ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిలో అయిదవవంతు కలిపి దానితో యాజకునికియ్యవలెను.

14. anyone who does eat a holy thing by inadvertence, will restore it to the priest with one-fifth added.

15. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిని తినుటవలన అపరాధమును భరింపకుండునట్లు తాము యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠించు పరిశుద్ధ ద్రవ్యములను అపవిత్రపరచకూడదు.

15. 'They may not profane the holy offerings which the Israelites have set aside for Yahweh.

16. నేను వాటిని పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవానని చెప్పుము.

16. By eating these, they would burden them with guilt requiring a sacrifice of reparation; for I, Yahweh, have sanctified these offerings.' '

17. Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:

18. 'Speak to Aaron, to his sons, and to all the Israelites and say: 'Any member of the House of Israel or any alien resident in Israel who brings an offering either in payment of a vow or as a voluntary gift, and offers it as a burnt offering to Yahweh,

19. వాడు అంగీకరింపబడినట్లు, గోవులలోనుండి యైనను గొఱ్ఱెమేకలలో నుండియైనను దోషములేని మగదానిని అర్పింప వలెను.

19. must, if he is to be acceptable, offer an unblemished male, be it bull or sheep or goat.

20. దేనికి కళంకముండునో దానిని అర్పింపకూడదు; అది మీ పక్షముగా అంగీకరింపబడదు.

20. You will not offer anything with a blemish, for it would not make you acceptable.

21. ఒకడు మ్రొక్కుబడిని చెల్లించుటకేగాని స్వేచ్ఛార్పణము అర్పించుటకేగాని సమాధానబలిరూపముగా గోవునైనను గొఱ్ఱెనైనను మేకనైనను యెహోవాకు తెచ్చినప్పుడు అది అంగీకరింపబడునట్లు దోషము లేనిదై యుండవలెను; దానిలో కళంకమేదియు నుండకూడదు.

21. 'If anyone offers Yahweh a communion sacrifice, either to fulfil a vow or as a voluntary offering, the animal, be it from the herd or flock, must be perfect, if he is to be acceptable; it must be unblemished.

22. గ్రుడ్డిదేమి కుంటిదేమి కొరతగలదేమి గడ్డగలదేమి గజ్జిరోగముగలదేమి చిరుగుడుగలదేమి అట్టివాటిని యెహోవాకు అర్పింపకూడదు; వాటిలో దేనిని బలిపీఠముమీద యెహోవాకు హోమము చేయకూడదు.

22. You will not offer Yahweh any animal which is blind, lame, mutilated, ulcerous, scabby or covered in sores. No part of such an animal will be offered on the altar as food burnt for Yahweh.

23. కురూపియైన కోడెనైనను గొఱ్ఱె మేకల మందలోని దానినైనను స్వేచ్ఛార్పణముగా అర్పింపవచ్చును గాని అది మ్రొక్కుబడిగా అంగీకరింపబడదు.

23. As a voluntary offering, you may offer a bull or a lamb that is underdeveloped or deformed; but such will not be acceptable in payment of a vow.

24. విత్తులు నులిపిన దానినేగాని విరిగినదానినేగాని చితికినదానినేగాని కోయబడినదానినేగాని యెహోవాకు అర్పింపకూడదు; మీ దేశములో అట్టికార్యము చేయకూడదు;

24. You will not offer Yahweh an animal if its testicles have been bruised, crushed, torn or cut off. You may not do that in your country,

25. పరదేశి చేతినుండి అట్టివాటిలో దేనిని తీసికొని మీ దేవునికి ఆహారముగా అర్పింపకూడదు; అవి లోపము గలవి, వాటికి కళంకములుండును, అవి మీ పక్షముగా అంగీకరింపబడవని చెప్పుము.

25. and you may not accept any such from the hands of a stranger, to be offered as food for your God. Their deformity is a blemish, and they would not make you acceptable.' '

26. Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:

27. దూడయేగాని, గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లయేగాని, మేకపిల్లయేగాని, పుట్టినప్పుడు అది యేడు దినములు దాని తల్లితో నుండవలెను. ఎనిమిదవనాడు మొదలుకొని అది యెహోవాకు హోమముగా అంగీకరింప తగును.

27. 'A calf, lamb, or kid will stay with its dam for seven days after being born. From the eighth day onwards, it will be acceptable as food burnt for Yahweh.

28. అయితే అది ఆవైనను గొఱ్ఱె మేకలలోనిదైనను మీరు దానిని దానిపిల్లను ఒక్క నాడే వధింపకూడదు.

28. But no animal, whether cow or ewe, will be slaughtered on the same day as its young.

29. మీరు కృతజ్ఞతాబలియగు పశువును వధించినప్పుడు అది మీకొరకు అంగీకరింపబడునట్లుగా దానిని అర్పింపవలెను.

29. 'If you offer Yahweh a sacrifice with praise, do it in the acceptable manner;

30. ఆనాడే దాని తినివేయవలెను; మరునాటి వరకు దానిలో కొంచెమైనను మిగిలింపకూడదు; నేను యెహోవాను.

30. it must be eaten the same day; you will leave nothing over till next morning. I am Yahweh.

31. మీరు నా ఆజ్ఞలననుసరించి వాటి ప్రకారము నడుచుకొనవలెను; నేను యెహోవాను.

31. 'You will keep my commands and put them into practice. I am Yahweh.

32. నా పరిశుద్ధనామమును అపవిత్రపరచకూడదు, నేను ఇశ్రా యేలీయులలో నన్ను పరిశుద్ధునిగా చేసికొందును;

32. You will not profane my holy name -- so that I may be honoured as holy among the Israelites, I, Yahweh, who make you holy,

33. నేను మిమ్మును పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవాను. నేను మీకు దేవుడనై యుండునట్లు ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి మిమ్మును రప్పించిన యెహోవానని చెప్పుము.

33. I who brought you out of Egypt, to be your God, I, Yahweh.'
