1. The Lord God said to Moses,

2. Tell Aaron and his sons: The Israelites will give me gifts and these gifts will become holy. They are mine, so you priests must not take these things. If you use these holy things for yourselves, you will show that you don't respect my holy name. I am the Lord.

3. నీవు వారితో ఇట్లనుముమీ తర తరములకు మీ సమస్త సంతానములలో ఒకడు అపవిత్రత గలవాడై, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠించు వాటిని సమీపించినయెడల అట్టివాడు నా సన్నిధిని ఉండకుండ కొట్టివేయబడును; నేను యెహోవాను.

3. If any one of your descendants touches these things, that person will become unclean. That person must be separated from me. The Israelites gave these things to me. I am the Lord.

4. అహరోను సంతానములో ఒకనికి కుష్ఠయినను స్రావమైనను కలిగినయెడల అట్టివాడు పవిత్రత పొందువరకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిలో దేనిని తినకూడదు. శవమువలని అపవిత్రతగల దేనినైనను ముట్టువాడును స్ఖలితవీర్యుడును,

4. If any of Aaron's descendants has one of the bad skin diseases or a discharge, he cannot eat the holy food until he becomes clean. This rule is for any priest who becomes unclean. That priest can become unclean from a dead body or from his own semen.

5. అపవిత్రమైన పురుగునేమి యేదో ఒక అపవిత్రతవలన అపవిత్రుడైన మనుష్యునినేమి ముట్టువాడును, అట్టి అపవిత్రత తగిలినవాడును సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రుడగును.

5. He can also become unclean if he touches any unclean crawling animals. And he can become unclean if he touches an unclean person. It doesn't matter what made that person unclean.

6. అతడు నీళ్లతో తన దేహమును కడుగుకొను వరకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిని తినకూడదు.

6. If he touches any of these things, he will become unclean until evening. He must not eat any of the holy food. Even if he washes with water, he cannot eat the holy food.

7. సూర్యుడు అస్తమించినప్పుడు అతడు పవిత్రుడగును; తరువాత అతడు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిని తినవచ్చును, అవి వానికి ఆహారమే గదా.

7. He will be clean only after the sun goes down. Then he can eat the holy food because it is his share.

8. A priest must not eat any animal that died by itself or that was killed by wild animals. If he eats that animal, he will be unclean. I am the Lord.

9. కాబట్టి నేను విధించిన విధిని అపవిత్రపరచి, దాని పాపభారమును మోసికొని దానివలన చావకుండునట్లు ఈ విధిని ఆచరించవలెను; నేను వారిని పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవాను.

9. The priests must be very careful when it comes time to serve me. They must be careful not to dishonor the holy things. If they are careful, they will not die. I, the Lord, have separated them from the rest of the people for this special job.

10. అన్యుడు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినకూడదు, యాజకునియింట నివసించు అన్యుడేగాని జీతగాడేగాని ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినకూడదు,

10. Only a priest's family can eat the holy food. A visitor staying with the priest or a hired worker must not eat any of the holy food.

11. అయితే యాజకుడు క్రయధనమిచ్చి కొనినవాడును అతని యింట పుట్టినవాడును అతడు తిను ఆహారమును తినవచ్చును.

11. But if the priest buys a person as a slave with his own money, that person may eat some of the holy things. Slaves who were born in the priest's house may also eat some of the priest's food.

12. యాజకుని కుమార్తె అన్యుని కియ్యబడినయెడల ఆమె ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన వాటిలో ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణమును తినకూడదు.

12. A priest's daughter might marry a man who is not a priest. If she does that, she cannot eat any of the holy offerings.

13. యాజకుని కుమార్తెలలో విధవరాలేకాని విడనాడబడినదే కాని సంతానము లేనియెడల ఆమె తన బాల్యమందువలె తన తండ్రి యింటికి తిరిగి చేరి తన తండ్రి ఆహారమును తినవచ్చును గాని అన్యుడెవడును దాని తినకూడదు.

13. A priest's daughter might become a widow, or she might be divorced. If she does not have any children to support her, and she goes back to her father's house where she lived as a child, she can eat some of her father's food. But only people from a priest's family can eat this food.

14. ఒకడు పొరబాటున ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినినయెడల వాడు ఆ ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిలో అయిదవవంతు కలిపి దానితో యాజకునికియ్యవలెను.

14. Whoever eats some of the holy food by mistake must give the priest the price of that food and add another fifth of the price as a fine.

15. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిని తినుటవలన అపరాధమును భరింపకుండునట్లు తాము యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠించు పరిశుద్ధ ద్రవ్యములను అపవిత్రపరచకూడదు.

15. 'The Israelites will give gifts to the Lord. These gifts become holy, so the priests must not treat them like they are not important.

16. నేను వాటిని పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవానని చెప్పుము.

16. If they do, they are guilty of doing wrong, and they must bear the responsibility for their guilt. I am the Lord, and I make them holy.'

17. The Lord God said to Moses,

18. Tell Aaron and his sons and all the Israelites: A citizen of Israel or a foreigner might want to bring an offering. It might be because of a promise that person made, or it might just be a special sacrifice that person wanted to bring.

19. వాడు అంగీకరింపబడినట్లు, గోవులలోనుండి యైనను గొఱ్ఱెమేకలలో నుండియైనను దోషములేని మగదానిని అర్పింప వలెను.

19. These are gifts that the people bring because they really want to give a gift to God. If the gift is a bull, or a sheep, or a goat, the animal must be a male. And it must not have anything wrong with it. You must not accept any offering that has anything wrong with it. I will not accept that gift.

20. దేనికి కళంకముండునో దానిని అర్పింపకూడదు; అది మీ పక్షముగా అంగీకరింపబడదు.

21. ఒకడు మ్రొక్కుబడిని చెల్లించుటకేగాని స్వేచ్ఛార్పణము అర్పించుటకేగాని సమాధానబలిరూపముగా గోవునైనను గొఱ్ఱెనైనను మేకనైనను యెహోవాకు తెచ్చినప్పుడు అది అంగీకరింపబడునట్లు దోషము లేనిదై యుండవలెను; దానిలో కళంకమేదియు నుండకూడదు.

21. You might bring a fellowship offering to the Lord. That fellowship offering might be payment for a special promise that you made. Or maybe it is a special gift that you wanted to give to the Lord. It can be a bull or a sheep, but it must be healthy. There must be nothing wrong with that animal.

22. గ్రుడ్డిదేమి కుంటిదేమి కొరతగలదేమి గడ్డగలదేమి గజ్జిరోగముగలదేమి చిరుగుడుగలదేమి అట్టివాటిని యెహోవాకు అర్పింపకూడదు; వాటిలో దేనిని బలిపీఠముమీద యెహోవాకు హోమము చేయకూడదు.

22. You must not offer to the Lord any animal that is blind, that has broken bones or is crippled, that has a discharge or a bad skin disease. You must not offer sick animals as a gift to the Lord. You must not put anything like that on his altar.

23. కురూపియైన కోడెనైనను గొఱ్ఱె మేకల మందలోని దానినైనను స్వేచ్ఛార్పణముగా అర్పింపవచ్చును గాని అది మ్రొక్కుబడిగా అంగీకరింపబడదు.

23. 'Sometimes a bull or lamb will have a leg that is too long, or a foot that did not grow right. If you want to give that animal as a special gift to the Lord, it will be accepted. But it will not be accepted as payment for a special promise that you made.

24. విత్తులు నులిపిన దానినేగాని విరిగినదానినేగాని చితికినదానినేగాని కోయబడినదానినేగాని యెహోవాకు అర్పింపకూడదు; మీ దేశములో అట్టికార్యము చేయకూడదు;

24. If an animal has bruised, crushed, or torn testicles, you must not offer that animal to the Lord.

25. పరదేశి చేతినుండి అట్టివాటిలో దేనిని తీసికొని మీ దేవునికి ఆహారముగా అర్పింపకూడదు; అవి లోపము గలవి, వాటికి కళంకములుండును, అవి మీ పక్షముగా అంగీకరింపబడవని చెప్పుము.

25. You must not take animals from foreigners as sacrifices to the Lord. The animals might have been hurt in some way. They might have something wrong with them, so they will not be accepted.'

26. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

26. The Lord said to Moses,

27. దూడయేగాని, గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లయేగాని, మేకపిల్లయేగాని, పుట్టినప్పుడు అది యేడు దినములు దాని తల్లితో నుండవలెను. ఎనిమిదవనాడు మొదలుకొని అది యెహోవాకు హోమముగా అంగీకరింప తగును.

27. When a calf, or a sheep, or a goat is born, it must stay seven days with its mother. Then from the eighth day on, this animal will be accepted as a sacrifice offered as a gift to the Lord.

28. అయితే అది ఆవైనను గొఱ్ఱె మేకలలోనిదైనను మీరు దానిని దానిపిల్లను ఒక్క నాడే వధింపకూడదు.

28. But you must not kill the animal and its mother on the same day. This rule is the same for cattle and sheep.

29. మీరు కృతజ్ఞతాబలియగు పశువును వధించినప్పుడు అది మీకొరకు అంగీకరింపబడునట్లుగా దానిని అర్పింపవలెను.

29. If you want to offer some special offering of thanks to the Lord, you are free to offer that gift. But you must do it in a way that pleases God.

30. ఆనాడే దాని తినివేయవలెను; మరునాటి వరకు దానిలో కొంచెమైనను మిగిలింపకూడదు; నేను యెహోవాను.

30. You must eat the whole animal that day. You must not leave any of the meat for the next morning. I am the Lord.

31. మీరు నా ఆజ్ఞలననుసరించి వాటి ప్రకారము నడుచుకొనవలెను; నేను యెహోవాను.

31. Remember my commands, and obey them. I am the Lord.

32. నా పరిశుద్ధనామమును అపవిత్రపరచకూడదు, నేను ఇశ్రా యేలీయులలో నన్ను పరిశుద్ధునిగా చేసికొందును;

32. Show respect for my holy name. I must be very special to the Israelites. I, the Lord, have made you my special people.

33. నేను మిమ్మును పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవాను. నేను మీకు దేవుడనై యుండునట్లు ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి మిమ్మును రప్పించిన యెహోవానని చెప్పుము.

33. I brought you out of Egypt in order to be your God. I am the Lord.'
