1. అహరోను ఇద్దరు కుమారులు యెహోవా సన్నిధికి సమీపించి చనిపోయిన తరువాత యెహోవా మోషేతో మాటలాడి ఇట్లనెను

1. ADONAI spoke with Moshe after the death of Aharon's two sons, when they tried to sacrifice before ADONAI and died;

2. నేను కరుణాపీఠము మీద మేఘములో కనబడుదును గనుక నీ సహోదరుడైన అహరోను చావకయుండునట్లు అతడు మందసము మీది కరుణాపీఠము ఎదుటనున్న అడ్డతెరలోపలికి ఎల్లప్పుడును రాకూడదని అతనితో చెప్పుము.

2. ADONAI said to Moshe, 'Tell your brother Aharon not to come at just any time into the Holy Place beyond the curtain, in front of the ark-cover which is on the ark, so that he will not die; because I appear in the cloud over the ark-cover.

3. 'Here is how Aharon is to enter the Holy Place: with a young bull as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering.

4. He is to put on the holy linen tunic, have the linen shorts next to his bare flesh, have the linen sash wrapped around him, and be wearing the linen turban- they are the holy garments. He is to bathe his body in water and put them on.

5. 'He is to take from the community of the people of Isra'el two male goats for a sin offering and one ram for a burnt offering.

6. Aharon is to present the bull for the sin offering which is for himself and make atonement for himself and his household.

7. ఆ రెండు మేకపిల్లలను తీసికొని వచ్చి, ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారమునొద్ద యెహోవా సన్నిధిని వాటిని ఉంచవలెను.

7. He is to take the two goats and place them before ADONAI at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

8. అప్పుడు అహరోను యెహోవా పేరట ఒక చీటిని, విడిచిపెట్టే మేక పేరట ఒక చీటిని ఆ రెండు మేకలమీద రెండు చీట్లను వేయవలెను.

8. Then Aharon is to cast lots for the two goats, one lot for ADONAI and the other for 'Az'azel.

9. ఏ మేకమీద యెహోవాపేరట చీటి పడునో, ఆ మేకను అహరోను తీసికొని వచ్చి పాపపరిహారార్థబలిగా అర్పింపవలెను.

9. Aharon is to present the goat whose lot fell to ADONAI and offer it as a sin offering.

10. ఏ మేకమీద విడిచిపెట్టుట అనే చీటి పడునో దానివలన ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము కలుగునట్లు, దానిని అరణ్యములో విడిచిపెట్టుటకై యెహోవా సన్నిధిని దానిని ప్రాణముతోనే ఉంచవలెను.

10. But the goat whose lot fell to 'Az'azel is to be presented alive to ADONAI to be used for making atonement over it by sending it away into the desert for 'Az'azel.

11. అప్పుడు అహరోను పాపపరిహారార్థబలియగు ఆ కోడెను తీసికొని వచ్చి తన నిమిత్తమును తన యింటివారి నిమిత్తమును ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేసికొనవలెను. తరువాత అతడు తనకొరకు తానర్పించు పాపపరిహారార్థబలియగు కోడెను వధించి

11. 'Aharon is to present the bull of the sin offering for himself; he will make atonement for himself and his household; he is to slaughter the bull of the sin offering which is for himself.

12. యెహోవా సన్నిధినున్న ధూపపీఠము మీదనుండి ధూపార్తెడు నిప్పులను, తన పిడికెళ్లతో పరిమళ ధూపచూర్ణమును తీసికొని అడ్డతెరలోపలికి వాటిని తెచ్చి తాను చావకుండునట్లు

12. He is to take a censer full of burning coals from the altar before ADONAI and, with his hands full of ground, fragrant incense, bring it inside the curtain.

13. ఆ ధూపము మేఘము వలె శాసనముల మీదనున్న కరుణాపీఠమును కమ్ముటకు, యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ఆ అగ్నిమీద ఆ ధూప ద్రవ్యమును వేయవలెను.

13. He is to put the incense on the fire before ADONAI, so that the cloud from the incense will cover the ark-cover which is over the testimony, in order that he not die.

14. అప్పుడతడు ఆ కోడెరక్తములో కొంచెము తీసికొని తూర్పుప్రక్కను కరుణాపీఠముమీద తన వ్రేలితో ప్రోక్షించి, కరుణాపీఠము ఎదుట తన వ్రేలితో ఆ రక్తములో కొంచెము ఏడుమారులు ప్రోక్షింపవలెను.

14. He is to take some of the bull's blood and sprinkle it with his finger on the ark-cover toward the east; and in front of the ark-cover he is to sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.

15. అప్పుడతడు ప్రజలర్పించు పాపపరిహారార్ధబలియగు మేకను వధించి అడ్డ తెరలోపలికి దాని రక్తము తెచ్చి ఆ కోడెరక్తముతో చేసినట్లు దీని రక్తముతోను చేసి, కరుణాపీఠము మీదను కరుణాపీఠము ఎదుటను దాని ప్రోక్షింపవలెను.

15. 'Next, he is to slaughter the goat of the sin offering which is for the people, bring its blood inside the curtain and do with its blood as he did with the bull's blood, sprinkling it on the ark-cover and in front of the ark-cover.

16. అట్లు అతడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సమస్త పాపములను బట్టియు, అనగా వారి అపవిత్రతను బట్టియు, వారి అతి క్రమములనుబట్టియు పరిశుద్ధ స్థలమునకు ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయవలెను. ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము వారిమధ్య ఉండుట వలన వారి అపవిత్రతను బట్టి అది అపవిత్ర మగుచుండును గనుక అతడు దానికి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయవలెను.

16. He will make atonement for the Holy Place because of the uncleannesses of the people of Isra'el and because of their transgressions- all their sins; and he is to do the same for the tent of meeting which is there with them right in the middle of their uncleannesses.

17. పరిశుద్ధస్థలములో ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయుటకు అతడు లోపలికి పోవునప్పుడు అతడు తన నిమిత్తమును తన యింటి వారి నిమిత్తమును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సమస్త సమాజము నిమిత్తమును ప్రాయశ్చిత్తముచేసి బయటికి వచ్చువరకు ఏ మనుష్యుడును ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో ఉండరాదు.

17. No one is to be present in the tent of meeting from the time he enters the Holy Place to make atonement until the time he comes out, having made atonement for himself, for his household and for the entire community of Isra'el.

18. మరియు అతడు యెహోవా సన్నిధినున్న బలిపీఠము నొద్దకు పోయి దానికి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయవలెను. అతడు ఆ కోడెరక్తములో కొంచెమును ఆ మేకరక్తములో కొంచెమును తీసికొని బలిపీఠపు కొమ్ములమీద చమిరి

18. Then he is to go out to the altar that is before ADONAI and make atonement for it; he is to take some of the bull's blood and some of the goat's blood and put it on all the horns of the altar.

19. యేడుమారులు తన వ్రేలితో ఆ రక్తములో కొంచెము దానిమీద ప్రోక్షించి దాని పవిత్రపరచి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల అపవిత్రతను పోగొట్టి దానిని పరిశుద్ధపరచవలెను.

19. He is to sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, thus purifying it and setting it apart from the uncleannesses of the people of Isra'el.

20. అతడు పరిశుద్ధస్థలమునకును ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారమునకును బలిపీఠమునకును ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేసి చాలించిన తరువాత ఆ సజీవమైన మేకను దగ్గరకు తీసికొని రావలెను.

20. 'When he has finished atoning for the Holy Place, the tent of meeting and the altar, he is to present the live goat.

21. అప్పుడు అహరోను సజీవమైన ఆ మేక తలమీద తన రెండు చేతులు ఉంచి, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పాపములన్నియు, అనగా వారి దోషములన్నియు వారి అతిక్రమములన్నియు దానిమీద ఒప్పుకొని, ఆ మేకతలమీద వాటిని మోపి, తగిన మనుష్యునిచేత అరణ్యములోనికి దాని పంపవలెను.

21. Aharon is to lay both his hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the transgressions, crimes and sins of the people of Isra'el; he is to put them on the head of the goat and then send it away into the desert with a man appointed for the purpose.

22. ఆ మేక వారి దోషములన్నిటిని ఎడారి దేశమునకు భరించి పోవును. అతడు అరణ్యములో ఆ మేకను విడిచిపెట్టవలెను.

22. The goat will bear all their transgressions away to some isolated place, and he is to let the goat go in the desert.

23. అప్పుడు అహరోను ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము లోనికి వచ్చి, తాను పరిశుద్ధస్థలములోనికి వెళ్లినప్పుడు తాను వేసికొనిన నారబట్టలను తీసి అక్కడ వాటిని ఉంచి

23. 'Aharon is to go back into the tent of meeting, where he is to remove the linen garments he put on when he entered the Holy Place, and he is to leave them there.

24. పరిశుద్ధ స్థలములో దేహమును నీళ్లతో కడుగుకొని బట్టలు తిరిగి ధరించుకొని బయటికి వచ్చి తనకొరకు దహన బలిని ప్రజలకొరకు దహనబలిని అర్పించి, తన నిమిత్తమును ప్రజల నిమిత్తమును ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయవలెను

24. Then he is to bathe his body in water in a holy place, put on his other clothes, come out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, thus making atonement for himself and for the people.

25. పాప పరిహారార్థబలి పశువుయొక్క క్రొవ్వును బలిపీఠముమీద దహింపవలెను.

25. He is to make the fat of the sin offering go up in smoke on the altar.

26. విడిచిపెట్టే మేకను వదలినవాడు తన బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని నీళ్లతో దేహము కడుగుకొని తరువాత పాళెములోనికి రావలెను.

26. 'The man who let go the goat for 'Az'azel is to wash his clothes and bathe his body in water; afterwards, he may return to the camp.

27. పరిశుద్ధస్థలములో ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయుటకు వేటి రక్తము దాని లోపలికి తేబడెనో పాపపరిహారార్థ బలియగు ఆ కోడెను ఆ మేకను ఒకడు పాళెము వెలుపలికి తీసికొనిపోవలెను. వాటి చర్మములను వాటి మాంసమును వాటి మలమును అగ్నితో కాల్చివేయ వలెను.

27. 'The bull for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the Holy Place, is to be carried outside the camp; there they are to burn up completely their hides, meat and dung.

28. వాటిని కాల్చివేసినవాడు తన బట్టలు ఉదుకు కొని నీళ్లతో దేహము కడుగుకొని తరువాత పాళెము లోనికి రావలెను.

28. The person burning them is to wash his clothes and bathe his body in water; afterwards, he may return to the camp.

29. ఇది మీకు నిత్యమైన కట్టడ. స్వదేశులుగాని మీ మధ్యనుండు పరదేశులుగాని మీరందరు ఏడవనెల పదియవ నాడు ఏ పనియైనను చేయక మిమ్మును మీరు దుఃఖపరచు కొనవలెను.

29. 'It is to be a permanent regulation for you that on the tenth day of the seventh month you are to deny yourselves and not do any kind of work, both the citizen and the foreigner living with you.

30. ఏలయనగా మీరు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని మీ సమస్త పాపములనుండి పవిత్రులగునట్లు ఆ దినమున మిమ్ము పవిత్రపరచునట్లు మీ నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయబడెను.
హెబ్రీయులకు 9:7-12-28

30. For on this day, atonement will be made for you to purify you; you will be clean before ADONAI from all your sins.

31. అది మీకు మహా విశ్రాంతి దినము. మిమ్మును మీరు దుఃఖపరచుకొనవలెను; ఇది నిత్యమైన కట్టడ.

31. It is a [Shabbat] of complete rest for you, and you are to deny yourselves. 'This is a permanent regulation.

32. ఎవరు తన తండ్రికి మారుగా యాజకుడగుటకై అభి షేకముపొంది తన్ను ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనునో ఆ యాజకుడు ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేసికొని నారవస్త్రములైన ప్రతిష్ఠిత వస్త్రములను ధరించుకొనవలెను.

32. The [cohen] anointed and consecrated to be [cohen] in his father's place will make the atonement; he will put on the linen garments, the holy garments;

33. మరియు అతడు అతి పరిశుద్ధముగానున్న మందిరమునకును ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారమునకును బలిపీఠమునకును ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయవలెను. మరియు అతడు యాజకుల నిమిత్తమును సమాజము నిమిత్తమును ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయవలెను.

33. he will make atonement for the Especially Holy Place; he will make atonement for the tent of meeting and the altar; and he will make atonement for the [cohanim] and for all the people of the community.

34. సంవత్సరమునకు ఒకసారి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సమస్త పాపములనుబట్టి వారి నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయుటకు ఇది మీకు నిత్యమైన కట్టడ. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు అతడు చేసెను.

34. This is a permanent regulation for you, to make atonement for the people of Isra'el because of all their sins once a year.' Moshe did as ADONAI had ordered him. [(LY: iv)]
