1. మరియు యోషీయా యెరూషలేమునందు యెహో వాకు పస్కాపండుగ ఆచరించెను. మొదటి నెల పదునాల్గవ దినమున జనులు పస్కాపశువును వధించిరి.

1. Moreouer Iosiah kept a Passeouer vnto the Lord in Ierusalem, and they slewe the Passeouer in the fourtenth day of the first moneth.

2. అతడు యాజకులను వారి వారి పనులకు నిర్ణయించి, యెహోవా మందిరసేవను జరిగించుటకై వారిని ధైర్యపరచి

2. And he appointed the Priestes to their charges, and incouraged them to the seruice of the house of the Lord,

3. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకందరికి బోధ చేయువారును యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితులునైన లేవీయులకు ఈలాగు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెనుపరిశుద్ధమైన మందసమును మీరిక మీ భుజముల మీద మోయక, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల రాజైన దావీదు కుమారుడగు సొలొమోను కట్టించిన మందిరములో దాని నుంచుడి, మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకును ఆయన జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకును సేవ జరిగించుడి.

3. And he sayd vnto the Leuites that taught all Israel and were sanctified vnto the Lord, Put the holy Arke in the house which Salomon the sonne of Dauid King of Israel did build: it shalbe no more a burden vpon your shoulders: serue now the Lord your God and his people Israel,

4. ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల రాజైన దావీదు వ్రాసియిచ్చిన క్రమముచొప్పునను అతని కుమారుడైన సొలొమోను వ్రాసి ఇచ్చిన క్రమము చొప్పునను మీ మీ పితరుల యిండ్లకు ఏర్పాటైన వరుసలనుబట్టి మిమ్మును సిద్ధపరచుకొనుడి.

4. And prepare your selues by the houses of your fathers according to your courses, as Dauid the King of Israel hath written, and according to the writing of Salomon his sonne,

5. జనుల ఆ యా భాగములకు లేవీయులకు కుటుంబములలో ఆ యా భాగములు ఏర్పాటగునట్లుగా మీరు పరిశుద్ధ స్థలమందు నిలిచి, వారి వారి పితరుల కుటుంబముల వరుసలను బట్టి జనులైన మీ సహోదరులకొరకు సేవచేయుడి.

5. And stande in the Sanctuarie according to the deuision of the families of your brethren the children of the people, and after the deuision of the familie of the Leuites:

6. ఆప్రకారము పస్కా పశువును వధించి మిమ్మును ప్రతి ష్ఠించుకొని, మోషేద్వారా యెహోవా యిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞలను అనుసరించి, దానిని మీ సహోదరులకొరకు సిద్ధపరచుడి.

6. So kill the Passeouer and sanctifie your selues, and prepare your brethren that they may doe according to the worde of the Lord by the hand of Moses.

7. మరియు యోషీయా తన స్వంత మందలో ముప్పది వేల గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలను మేకపిల్లలను మూడువేల కోడెలను అక్కడ నున్న జనులకందరికి పస్కాపశువులుగా ఇచ్చెను.

7. Iosiah also gaue to the people sheepe, lambs and kiddes, all for the Passeouer, euen to all that were present, to the nomber of thirtie thousand, and three thousande bullocks: these were of the Kings substance.

8. అతని అధిపతులును జనులకును యాజకులకును లేవీయుల కును మనః పూర్వకముగా పశువులు ఇచ్చిరి. యెహోవా మంది రపు అధికారులైన హిల్కీయాయు, జెకర్యాయు, యెహీయేలును పస్కాపశువులుగా యాజకులకు రెండువేల ఆరువందల గొఱ్ఱెలను మూడువందల కోడెలను ఇచ్చిరి.

8. And his princes offred willingly vnto the people, to the Priests and to the Leuites: Hilkiah, and Zechariah, and Iehiel, rulers of the house of God, gaue vnto the Priests for the Passeouer, euen two thousand and sixe hundreth sheepe, and three hundreth bullockes.

9. కొనన్యాయు, అతని సహోదరులైన షెమయాయు, నెత నేలును, లేవీయులలో నధిపతులగు హషబ్యాయు, యెహీ యేలును యోజాబాదును పస్కాపశువులుగా లేవీయులకు అయిదువేల గొఱ్ఱెలను ఐదువందల కోడెలను ఇచ్చిరి.

9. Conaniah also and Shemaiah and Nethaneel his brethren, and Hashabiah and Ieiel, and Iozabad, chiefe of the Leuites gaue vnto the Leuites for the Passeouer, fiue thousand sheepe, and fiue hundreth bullockes.

10. ఈ ప్రకారము సేవ జరుగుచుండగా రాజాజ్ఞనుబట్టి యాజకులు తమ స్థలములోను లేవీయులు తమ వరుసలలోను నిలువబడిరి.

10. Thus the seruice was prepared, and the Priests stoode in their places, also the Leuites in their orders, according to the Kings commandement:

11. లేవీయులు పస్కాపశువులను వధించి రక్తమును యాజకుల కియ్యగా వారు దాని ప్రోక్షించిరి. లేవీయులు పశువులను ఒలువగా

11. And they slewe the Passeouer, and the Priests sprinkled the blood with their handes, and the Leuites flayed them.

12. మోషే గ్రంథములో వ్రాయబడిన ప్రకారము జనుల కుటుంబముల విభాగము చొప్పున యెహోవాకు అర్పణగా ఇచ్చుటకు దహనబలి పశుమాంసమును యాజకులు తీసికొనిరి.

12. And they tooke away from the burnt offering to giue it according to the deuisions of the families of the children of the people, to offer vnto the Lord, as it is written in the booke of Moses, and so of the bullockes.

13. వారు ఎడ్లనుకూడ ఆ ప్రకారముగానే చేసిరి. వారు విధిప్రకారము పస్కాపశు మాంసమును నిప్పుమీద కాల్చిరిగాని యితరమైన ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణలను కుండలలోను బొరుసులలోను పెనములలోను ఉడికించి జనులకందరికి త్వరగా వడ్డించిరి.

13. And they rosted the Passeouer with fire, according to ye custome, but the sanctified things they sod in pots, pannes, and cauldrons, and distributed them quickely to all the people.

14. తరువాత లేవీయులు తమకొరకును యాజకులకొరకును సిద్ధముచేసిరి. అహరోను సంతతివారగు యాజకులు దహనబలి పశుమాంసమును క్రొవ్వును రాత్రివరకు అర్పింపవలసివచ్చెను గనుక లేవీయులు తమ కొరకును అహరోను సంతతివారగు యాజకులకొరకును సిద్ధపరచిరి.

14. Afterwarde also they prepared for them selues and for the Priestes: for the Priestes the sonnes of Aaron were occupied in offering of burnt offrings, and the fat vntill night: therefore the Leuites prepared for them selues, and for the Priests the sonnes of Aaron.

15. మరియు ఆసాపు సంతతివారగు గాయకు లును, ఆసాపు హేమానులును, రాజునకు దీర్ఘదర్శియగు యెదూతూనును దావీదు నియమించిన ప్రకారముగా తమ స్థలమందుండిరి; ద్వారములన్నిటియొద్దను ద్వార పాలకులు కనిపెట్టుచుండిరి. వారు తమ చేతిలో పని విడిచి అవతలికి వెళ్లిపోకుండునట్లు వారి సహోదరులగు లేవీయులు వారికొరకు సిద్ధపరచిరి.

15. And the singers the sonnes of Asaph stoode in their standing according to the commandement of Dauid, and Asaph, and Heman, and Ieduthun the Kings Seer: and the porters at euery gate, who might not depart from their seruice: therefore their brethren the Leuites prepared for them.

16. ఈ ప్రకారము రాజైన యోషీయా యిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞనుబట్టి వారు పస్కాపండుగ ఆచరించి, యెహోవా బలిపీఠముమీద దహన బలులను అర్పించుటచేత ఆ దినమున ఏమియు లోపము లేకుండ యెహోవా సేవ జరిగెను.

16. So all the seruice of the Lord was prepared the same day, to keepe the Passeouer, and to offer burnt offerings vpon the altar of the Lord, according to the commandement of King Iosiah.

17. అక్కడ నున్న ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు, ఆ కాలమందు పస్కాను పులియని రొట్టెల పండుగను ఏడు దినములు ఆచరించిరి.

17. And the children of Israel that were present, kept the Passeouer the same time, and the feast of the vnleauened bread seuen dayes.

18. ప్రవక్త యగు సమూయేలు దినములు మొదలుకొని ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులలో పస్కాపండుగ అంత ఘనముగా ఆచరింపబడి యుండలేదు. యోషీయాయు, యాజకులును, లేవీయు లును, అక్కడ నున్న యూదా ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును, యెరూషలేము కాపురస్థులును ఆచరించిన ప్రకారము ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజులందరిలో ఒక్కడైనను పస్కాపండు గను ఆచరించి యుండలేదు.

18. And there was no Passeouer kept like that, in Israel, from the dayes of Samuel the Prophet: neyther did all the Kings of Israel keepe such a Passeouer as Iosiah kept, and the Priestes and the Leuites, and all Iudah, and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Ierusalem.

19. యోషీయా యేలుబడి యందు పదునెనిమిదవ సంవత్సరమున ఈ పస్కాపండుగ జరిగెను.

19. This Passeouer was kept in the eighteenth yeere of the reigne of Iosiah.

20. ఇదంతయు అయిన తరువాత యోషీయా మందిర మును సిద్ధపరచినప్పుడు ఐగుప్తురాజైన నెకో యూఫ్రటీసు నదియొద్దనున్న కర్కెమీషుమీదికి దండెత్తి వెళ్లుచుండగా యోషీయా అతనిమీదికి బయలు దేరెను.

20. After all this, when Iosiah had prepared the Temple, Necho King of Egypt came vp to fight against Carchemish by Perath, and Iosiah went out against him.

21. అయితే రాజైన నెకో అతనియొద్దకు రాయ బారులను పంపి - యూదారాజా నీతో నాకేమి? పూర్వమునుండి నాకు శత్రువులగువారిమీదికేగాని నేడు నీమీదికి నేను రాలేదు. దేవుడు త్వరచేయుమని నాకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను గనుక దేవుడు నాతోకూడ ఉండి నిన్ను నశింపజేయ కుండునట్లు ఆయన జోలికి నీవు రావద్దని చెప్ప నాజ్ఞాపించెను.

21. But he sent messengers to him, saying, What haue I to doe with thee, thou King of Iudah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house of mine enemie, and God commanded me to make haste: leaue of to come against God, which is with me, least he destroy thee.

22. అయినను యోషీయా అతనితో యుద్ధము చేయగోరి, అతనియొద్దనుండి తిరిగి పోక మారువేషము ధరించుకొని, యెహోవా నోటి మాటలుగా పలుకబడిన నెకో మాటలను వినక మెగిద్దో లోయయందు యుద్ధము చేయ వచ్చెను.

22. But Iosiah would not turne his face from him, but changed his apparel to fight with him, and hearkened not vnto the wordes of Necho, which were of the mouth of God, but came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.

23. విలుకాండ్రురాజైన యోషీయామీద బాణములు వేయగా రాజు తన సేవకులను చూచి - నాకు గొప్ప గాయము తగిలెను, ఇక్కడనుండి నన్నుకొని పోవుడని చెప్పెను.

23. And the shooters shot at king Iosiah: then the King saide to his seruants, Cary me away, for I am very sicke.

24. కావున అతని సేవకులు రథము మీదనుండి అతని దింపి, అతనికున్న వేరు రథముమీద అతని ఉంచి యెరూషలేమునకు అతని తీసికొని వచ్చిరి. అతడు మృతిబొంది తన పితరుల సమాధులలో ఒకదాని యందు పాతిపెట్టబడెను. యూదా యెరూషలేము వారందరును యోషీయా చనిపోయెనని ప్రలాపము చేసిరి.

24. So his seruants tooke him out of that charet, and put him in the seconde charet which he had, and when they had brought him to Ierusalem, he dyed, and was buryed in the sepulchres of his fathers: and all Iudah and Ierusalem mourned for Iosiah.

25. యిర్మీయాయు యోషీయానుగూర్చి ప్రలాప వాక్యము చేసెను, గాయకులందరును గాయకురాండ్రంద రును తమ ప్రలాపవాక్యములలో అతని గూర్చి పలికిరి; నేటివరకు యోషీయానుగూర్చి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో ఆలాగు చేయుట వాడుక ఆయెను. ప్రలాపవాక్యములలో అట్టివి వ్రాయబడియున్నవి.

25. And Ieremiah lamented Iosiah, and al singing men and singing women mourned for Iosiah in their lamentations to this day, and made the same for an ordinance vnto Israel: and beholde, they be written in the lamentations.

26. యోషీయా చేసిన యితర కార్యములన్నిటిని గూర్చియు, యెహోవా ధర్మ శాస్త్రవిధుల ననుసరించి అతడు చూపిన భయభక్తులను గూర్చియు

26. Concerning the rest of the actes of Iosiah and his goodnesse, doing as it was written in the Lawe of the Lord,

27. అతడు చేసిన సమస్త క్రియలను గూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలు యూదారాజుల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడి యున్నది.

27. And his deedes, first and last, behold, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel and Iudah.
