1. Yoshiyahu kept a Pesach to the LORD in Yerushalayim: and they killed the Pesach on the fourteenth day of the first month.

2. He set the Kohanim in their offices, and encouraged them to the service of the house of the LORD.

3. He said to the Levites who taught all Yisra'el, who were holy to the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Shlomo the son of David king of Yisra'el did build; there shall no more be a burden on your shoulders: now serve the LORD your God, and his people Yisra'el.

4. ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల రాజైన దావీదు వ్రాసియిచ్చిన క్రమముచొప్పునను అతని కుమారుడైన సొలొమోను వ్రాసి ఇచ్చిన క్రమము చొప్పునను మీ మీ పితరుల యిండ్లకు ఏర్పాటైన వరుసలనుబట్టి మిమ్మును సిద్ధపరచుకొనుడి.

4. Prepare yourselves after your fathers' houses by your divisions, according to the writing of David king of Yisra'el, and according to the writing of Shlomo his son.

5. జనుల ఆ యా భాగములకు లేవీయులకు కుటుంబములలో ఆ యా భాగములు ఏర్పాటగునట్లుగా మీరు పరిశుద్ధ స్థలమందు నిలిచి, వారి వారి పితరుల కుటుంబముల వరుసలను బట్టి జనులైన మీ సహోదరులకొరకు సేవచేయుడి.

5. Stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the fathers' houses of your brothers the children of the people, and let there be for each a portion of a fathers' house of the Levites.

6. ఆప్రకారము పస్కా పశువును వధించి మిమ్మును ప్రతి ష్ఠించుకొని, మోషేద్వారా యెహోవా యిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞలను అనుసరించి, దానిని మీ సహోదరులకొరకు సిద్ధపరచుడి.

6. Kill the Pesach, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare for your brothers, to do according to the word of the LORD by Moshe.

7. మరియు యోషీయా తన స్వంత మందలో ముప్పది వేల గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలను మేకపిల్లలను మూడువేల కోడెలను అక్కడ నున్న జనులకందరికి పస్కాపశువులుగా ఇచ్చెను.

7. Yoshiyahu gave to the children of the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all of them for the Pesach offerings, to all who were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bulls: these were of the king's substance.

8. అతని అధిపతులును జనులకును యాజకులకును లేవీయుల కును మనః పూర్వకముగా పశువులు ఇచ్చిరి. యెహోవా మంది రపు అధికారులైన హిల్కీయాయు, జెకర్యాయు, యెహీయేలును పస్కాపశువులుగా యాజకులకు రెండువేల ఆరువందల గొఱ్ఱెలను మూడువందల కోడెలను ఇచ్చిరి.

8. His princes gave for a freewill- offering to the people, to the Kohanim, and to the Levites. Hilkiyah and Zekharyah and Yechi'el, the rulers of the house of God, gave to the Kohanim for the Pesach offerings two thousand and six hundred small cattle, and three hundred oxen.

9. కొనన్యాయు, అతని సహోదరులైన షెమయాయు, నెత నేలును, లేవీయులలో నధిపతులగు హషబ్యాయు, యెహీ యేలును యోజాబాదును పస్కాపశువులుగా లేవీయులకు అయిదువేల గొఱ్ఱెలను ఐదువందల కోడెలను ఇచ్చిరి.

9. Kananyahu also, and Shemayah and Netan'el, his brothers, and Hashavyah and Ye`i'el and Yozavad, the chiefs of the Levites, gave to the Levites for the Pesach offerings five thousand small cattle, and five hundred oxen.

10. ఈ ప్రకారము సేవ జరుగుచుండగా రాజాజ్ఞనుబట్టి యాజకులు తమ స్థలములోను లేవీయులు తమ వరుసలలోను నిలువబడిరి.

10. So the service was prepared, and the Kohanim stood in their place, and the Levites by their divisions, according to the king's mitzvah.

11. లేవీయులు పస్కాపశువులను వధించి రక్తమును యాజకుల కియ్యగా వారు దాని ప్రోక్షించిరి. లేవీయులు పశువులను ఒలువగా

11. They killed the Pesach, and the Kohanim sprinkled the blood which they received of their hand, and the Levites flayed them.

12. మోషే గ్రంథములో వ్రాయబడిన ప్రకారము జనుల కుటుంబముల విభాగము చొప్పున యెహోవాకు అర్పణగా ఇచ్చుటకు దహనబలి పశుమాంసమును యాజకులు తీసికొనిరి.

12. They removed the burnt offerings, that they might give them according to the divisions of the fathers' houses of the children of the people, to offer to the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moshe. So did they with the oxen.

13. వారు ఎడ్లనుకూడ ఆ ప్రకారముగానే చేసిరి. వారు విధిప్రకారము పస్కాపశు మాంసమును నిప్పుమీద కాల్చిరిగాని యితరమైన ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణలను కుండలలోను బొరుసులలోను పెనములలోను ఉడికించి జనులకందరికి త్వరగా వడ్డించిరి.

13. They roasted the Pesach with fire according to the ordinance: and the holy offerings boiled they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and carried them quickly to all the children of the people.

14. తరువాత లేవీయులు తమకొరకును యాజకులకొరకును సిద్ధముచేసిరి. అహరోను సంతతివారగు యాజకులు దహనబలి పశుమాంసమును క్రొవ్వును రాత్రివరకు అర్పింపవలసివచ్చెను గనుక లేవీయులు తమ కొరకును అహరోను సంతతివారగు యాజకులకొరకును సిద్ధపరచిరి.

14. Afterward they prepared for themselves, and for the Kohanim, because the Kohanim the sons of Aharon were busied in offering the burnt offerings and the fat until night: therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the Kohanim the sons of Aharon.

15. The singers the sons of Asaf were in their place, according to the mitzvah of David, and Asaf, and Heman, and Yedutun the king's seer; and the porters were at every gate: they didn't need to depart from their service; for their brothers the Levites prepared for them.

16. ఈ ప్రకారము రాజైన యోషీయా యిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞనుబట్టి వారు పస్కాపండుగ ఆచరించి, యెహోవా బలిపీఠముమీద దహన బలులను అర్పించుటచేత ఆ దినమున ఏమియు లోపము లేకుండ యెహోవా సేవ జరిగెను.

16. So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the Pesach, and to offer burnt-offerings on the altar of the LORD, according to the mitzvah of king Yoshiyahu.

17. అక్కడ నున్న ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు, ఆ కాలమందు పస్కాను పులియని రొట్టెల పండుగను ఏడు దినములు ఆచరించిరి.

17. The children of Yisra'el who were present kept the Pesach at that time, and the feast of matzah seven days.

18. ప్రవక్త యగు సమూయేలు దినములు మొదలుకొని ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులలో పస్కాపండుగ అంత ఘనముగా ఆచరింపబడి యుండలేదు. యోషీయాయు, యాజకులును, లేవీయు లును, అక్కడ నున్న యూదా ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును, యెరూషలేము కాపురస్థులును ఆచరించిన ప్రకారము ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజులందరిలో ఒక్కడైనను పస్కాపండు గను ఆచరించి యుండలేదు.

18. There was no Pesach like that kept in Yisra'el from the days of Shemu'el the prophet; neither did any of the kings of Yisra'el keep such a Pesach as Yoshiyahu kept, and the Kohanim, and the Levites, and all Yehudah and Yisra'el who were present, and the inhabitants of Yerushalayim.

19. యోషీయా యేలుబడి యందు పదునెనిమిదవ సంవత్సరమున ఈ పస్కాపండుగ జరిగెను.

19. In the eighteenth year of the reign of Yoshiyahu was this Pesach kept.

20. ఇదంతయు అయిన తరువాత యోషీయా మందిర మును సిద్ధపరచినప్పుడు ఐగుప్తురాజైన నెకో యూఫ్రటీసు నదియొద్దనున్న కర్కెమీషుమీదికి దండెత్తి వెళ్లుచుండగా యోషీయా అతనిమీదికి బయలు దేరెను.

20. After all this, when Yoshiyahu had prepared the temple, Nekho king of Mitzrayim went up to fight against Karkemish by the Perat: and Yoshiyahu went out against him.

21. అయితే రాజైన నెకో అతనియొద్దకు రాయ బారులను పంపి - యూదారాజా నీతో నాకేమి? పూర్వమునుండి నాకు శత్రువులగువారిమీదికేగాని నేడు నీమీదికి నేను రాలేదు. దేవుడు త్వరచేయుమని నాకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను గనుక దేవుడు నాతోకూడ ఉండి నిన్ను నశింపజేయ కుండునట్లు ఆయన జోలికి నీవు రావద్దని చెప్ప నాజ్ఞాపించెను.

21. But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with you, you king of Yehudah? I come not against you this day, but against the house with which I have war; and God has commanded me to make haste: forbear you from meddling with God, who is with me, that he not destroy you.

22. అయినను యోషీయా అతనితో యుద్ధము చేయగోరి, అతనియొద్దనుండి తిరిగి పోక మారువేషము ధరించుకొని, యెహోవా నోటి మాటలుగా పలుకబడిన నెకో మాటలను వినక మెగిద్దో లోయయందు యుద్ధము చేయ వచ్చెను.

22. Nevertheless Yoshiyahu would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight with him, and didn't listen to the words of Nekho from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.

23. విలుకాండ్రురాజైన యోషీయామీద బాణములు వేయగా రాజు తన సేవకులను చూచి - నాకు గొప్ప గాయము తగిలెను, ఇక్కడనుండి నన్నుకొని పోవుడని చెప్పెను.

23. The archers shot at king Yoshiyahu; and the king said to his servants, Have me away; for I am sore wounded.

24. కావున అతని సేవకులు రథము మీదనుండి అతని దింపి, అతనికున్న వేరు రథముమీద అతని ఉంచి యెరూషలేమునకు అతని తీసికొని వచ్చిరి. అతడు మృతిబొంది తన పితరుల సమాధులలో ఒకదాని యందు పాతిపెట్టబడెను. యూదా యెరూషలేము వారందరును యోషీయా చనిపోయెనని ప్రలాపము చేసిరి.

24. So his servants took him out of the chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had, and brought him to Yerushalayim; and he died, and was buried in the tombs of his fathers. All Yehudah and Yerushalayim mourned for Yoshiyahu.

25. యిర్మీయాయు యోషీయానుగూర్చి ప్రలాప వాక్యము చేసెను, గాయకులందరును గాయకురాండ్రంద రును తమ ప్రలాపవాక్యములలో అతని గూర్చి పలికిరి; నేటివరకు యోషీయానుగూర్చి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో ఆలాగు చేయుట వాడుక ఆయెను. ప్రలాపవాక్యములలో అట్టివి వ్రాయబడియున్నవి.

25. Yirmeyahu lamented for Yoshiyahu: and all the singing men and singing women spoke of Yoshiyahu in their lamentations to this day; and they made them an ordinance in Yisra'el: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.

26. యోషీయా చేసిన యితర కార్యములన్నిటిని గూర్చియు, యెహోవా ధర్మ శాస్త్రవిధుల ననుసరించి అతడు చూపిన భయభక్తులను గూర్చియు

26. Now the rest of the acts of Yoshiyahu, and his good deeds, according to that which is written in the law of the LORD,

27. and his acts, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Yisra'el and Yehudah.
