1. దావీదు అమాలేకీయులను హతముచేసి తిరిగి వచ్చెను. సౌలు మృతినొందిన తరువాత అతడు సిక్లగులో రెండు దినములుండెను.

1. And his disciples axed him sayinge. Master who dyd synne: this man or his father and mother that he was borne blynde?

2. మూడవ దినమున బట్టలు చింపుకొని తలమీద బుగ్గిపోసికొనిన యొకడు సౌలునొద్దనున్న దండులోనుండి వచ్చెను.

2. Iesus answered: Nether hath this man synned nor yet his father and mother: but that the workes of God shuld be shewed on him.

3. అతడు దావీదును దర్శించి నేలను సాగిలపడి నమస్కారము చేయగా దావీదునీ వెక్కడనుండి వచ్చితివని యడి గెను. అందుకు వాడుఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సైన్యములోనుండి నేను తప్పించుకొని వచ్చితిననెను.

3. I must worke the workes of him that sent me whyll it is daye. The nyght cometh when no man can worke.

4. జరిగిన సంగతులేవో నాతో చెప్పుమని దావీదు సెలవియ్యగా వాడుజనులు యుద్ధమందు నిలువ లేక పారిపోయిరి. అనేకులు పడి చచ్చిరి, సౌలును అతని కుమారుడైన యోనాతానును మరణమైరి అనెను.

4. As longe as I am in the worlde I am the lyght of the worlde.

5. సౌలును అతని కుమారుడైన యోనాతానును మరణమైరని నీ కేలాగు తెలిసినది అని దావీదు వాని నడుగగా వాడిట్లనెను

5. Assone as he had thus spoken he spate on the grounde and made claye of the spetle and rubbed the claye on the eyes of the blynde

6. గిల్బోవ పర్వతమునకు నేను అకస్మాత్తుగా వచ్చినప్పుడు సౌలు తన యీటెమీద ఆనుకొనియుండెను.

6. and sayde vnto him: Goo wesshe the in ye pole of Syloe which by interpretacion signifieth sent. He went his waye and wasshed and cam agayne seinge.

7. అతడు రథములును రౌతులును తనను వెనువెంట తగులు చుండుట చూచి వెనుక తిరిగి నన్ను కనుగొని పిలిచెను. అందుకుచిత్తము నా యేలినవాడా అని నేనంటిని.

7. The neghboures and they that had sene him before how that he was a begger sayde: is not this he that sate and begged?

8. నీవెవడవని అతడు నన్నడుగగానేను అమాలేకీయుడనని చెప్పితిని.

8. Some sayde: this is he. Other sayd: he is lyke him. But he him selfe sayde: I am even he.

9. అతడునా ప్రాణము ఇంక నాలో ఉన్నదిగాని తల త్రిప్పుచేత నేను బహు బాధ పడుచున్నాను ; నీవు నా దగ్గర నిలువబడి నన్ను చంపుమని సెలవియ్యగా,

9. They sayde vnto him: How are thyne eyes opened then?

10. ఈలాగు పడినతరువాత అతడు బ్రదుకడని నేను నిశ్చయించుకొని అతనిదగ్గర నిలిచి అతని చంపితిని; తరువాత అతని తలమీదనున్న కిరీటమును హస్తకంకణము లను తీసికొని నా యేలినవాడవైన నీయొద్దకు వాటిని తెచ్చియున్నాను అనెను.

10. He answered and sayde. The ma that is called Iesus made claye and anoynted myne eyes and sayd vnto me: Goo to the pole Syloe and wesshe. I went and wesshed and receaved my syght.

11. దావీదు ఆ వార్త విని తన వస్త్రములు చింపుకొనెను. అతనియొద్ద నున్న వారందరును ఆలాగున చేసి

11. They sayde vnto him: where is he? He sayde: I cannot tell.

12. సౌలును యోనాతానును యెహోవా జనులును ఇశ్రాయేలు ఇంటివారును యుద్ధములో కూలిరని వారిని గూర్చి దుఃఖపడుచు ఏడ్చుచు సాయంత్రము వరకు ఉపవాసముండిరి.

12. Then brought they to ye pharises him that a lytell before was blynde:

13. తరువాత దావీదునీవెక్కడ నుండి వచ్చితివని ఆ వార్త తెచ్చినవాని నడుగగా వాడునేను ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశమున నివసించు అమాలేకీయుడగు ఒకని కుమారుడననెను.

13. for it was the Saboth daye when Iesus made the claye and opened his eyes.

14. అందుకు దావీదుభయపడక యెహోవా అభిషేకించినవానిని చంపుటకు నీవేల అతని మీద చెయ్యి ఎత్తితివి?

14. Then agayne the pharises also axed him how he had receaved his syght. He sayde vnto the: He put claye apon myne eyes and I wasshed and do se.

15. యెహోవా అభిషేకించిన వానిని నేను చంపితినని నీవు చెప్పితివే;

15. Then sayde some of the pharises: this man is not of God because he kepeth not the saboth daye. Other sayde: how can a man yt is a synner do suche myracles? And ther was stryfe amonge the.

16. నీ నోటి మాటయే నీ మీద సాక్ష్యము గనుక నీ ప్రాణమునకు నీవే ఉత్తరవాదివని వానితో చెప్పి తనవారిలో ఒకని పిలిచినీవు పోయి వాని చంపుమనగా అతడు వానిని కొట్టి చంపెను.

16. Then spake they vnto the blynde agayne: What sayst thou of him because he hath openned thyne eyes? And he sayd: He is a Prophet.

17. యూదావారికి అభ్యాసము చేయవలెనని దావీదు సౌలునుగూర్చియు అతని కుమారుడైన యోనాతానును గూర్చియు ధనుర్గీతమొకటి చేసి దానినిబట్టి విలాపము సలిపెను.

17. But the Iewes dyd not beleve of the felowe how that he was blynde and receaved his syght vntyll they had called the father and mother of him that had receaved his syght.

18. అది యాషారు గ్రంథమందు లిఖింపబడి యున్నది. ఎట్లనగా

18. And they axed the saying: Is this youre sonne whome ye saye was borne blynde? How doth he now se then?

19. ఇశ్రాయేలూ, నీకు భూషణమగువారునీ ఉన్నత స్థలములమీద హతులైరి అహహా బలాఢ్యులు పడిపోయిరి.

19. His father and mother answered them and sayde: we wote well that this is oure sonne and that he was borne blynde:

20. ఫిలిష్తీయుల కుమార్తెలు సంతోషింపకుండునట్లు సున్నతిలేనివారి కుమార్తెలు జయమని చెప్పకుండునట్లుఈ సమాచారము గాతులో తెలియజేయకుడి అష్కెలోను వీధులలో ప్రకటన చేయకుడి.

20. but by what meanes he now seith that can we not tell or who hath opened his eyes can we not tell. He is olde ynough axe him let him answer for him selfe.

21. గిల్బోవ పర్వతములారా మీమీద మంచైనను వర్షమైనను ప్రథమ ఫలార్పణకు తగిన పైరుగల చేలైననులేకపోవును గాక.బలాఢ్యులడాళ్లు అవమానముగ పారవేయబడెను.తైలముచేత అభిషేకింపబడని వారిదైనట్టు1సౌలు డాలును పారవేయబడెను.

21. Suche wordes spake his father and mother because they feared the Iewes. For the Iewes had conspyred all redy that yf eny man dyd confesse that he was Christ he shuld be excommunicat out of the synagoge.

22. హతుల రక్తము ఒలికింపకుండ బలాఢ్యుల క్రొవ్వును పట్టకుండయోనాతాను విల్లు వెనుకతియ్యలేదుఎవరిని హతముచేయకుండ సౌలు కత్తి వెనుక తీసినది కాదు.

22. Therefore sayde his father and mother: he is olde ynough axe him.

23. సౌలును యోనాతానును తమ బ్రతుకునందు సరసులు గాను నెనరుగల వారుగాను ఉండిరితమ మరణమందైనను వారు ఒకరినొకరు ఎడబాసినవారు కారువారు పక్షిరాజులకంటె వడిగలవారుసింహములకంటె బలముగలవారు.

23. Then agayne called they the man that was blynde and sayd vnto him: Geve God the prayse: we knowe that this man is a synner.

24. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కుమార్తెలారా, సౌలునుగూర్చి యేడ్వుడి అతడు మీకు ఇంపైన రక్తవర్ణపు వస్త్రములు ధరింప జేసినవాడుబంగారు నగలు మీకు పెట్టినవాడు.

24. He answered and sayde: Whyther he be a synner or noo I cannot tell: One thinge I am sure of that I was blynde and now I se.

25. యుద్ధరంగమునందు బలాఢ్యులు పడియున్నారునీ ఉన్నతస్థలములలో యోనాతాను హతమాయెను.

25. Then sayde they to him agayne. What dyd he to the? How opened he thyne eyes?

26. నా సహోదరుడా, యోనాతానానీవు నాకు అతిమనోహరుడవై యుంటివినీ నిమిత్తము నేను బహు శోకము నొందుచున్నానునాయందు నీకున్న ప్రేమ బహు వింతైనదిస్త్రీలు చూపు ప్రేమకంటెను అది అధికమైనది.

26. He answered them I tolde you yerwhyle and ye dyd not heare. Wherfore wolde ye heare it agayne? Will ye also be his disciples?

27. అయ్యయ్యో బలాఢ్యులు పడిపోయిరియుద్ధసన్నద్ధులు నశించిపోయిరి.

27. Then rated they him and sayde: Thou arte his disciple. We be Moses disciples.
