1. యూదారాజైన సిద్కియా యేలుబడి పదియవ సంవత్సరమున, అనగా నెబుకద్రెజరు ఏలుబడి పదునెనిమిదవ సంవత్సరమున యెహోవాయొద్దనుండి యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన వాక్కు.

1. The worde that came vnto Ieremiah from the Lord, in the tenth yere of Zedekiah king of Iudah, which was the eightenth yeere of Nebuchad-nezzar.

2. ఆ కాలమున బబులోనురాజు దండు యెరూషలేమునకు ముట్టడి వేయుచుండగా సిద్కియా యిర్మీయాతో చెప్పినదేమనగా యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఆలోచించుడి, ఈ పట్టణమును బబులోనురాజు చేతికి నేను అప్పగించుచున్నాను, అతడు దాని పట్టుకొనును,

2. For then the King of Babels hoste besieged Ierusalem: And Ieremiah the Prophet was shutte vp in the court of the prison, which was in the King of Iudahs house.

3. యూదారాజైన సిద్కియా కల్దీయుల చేతిలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనక బబులోనురాజు చేతికి నిశ్చయముగా అప్పగింపబడును, సిద్కియా అతనితో ముఖాముఖిగా మాటలాడును, కన్నులార అతనిచూచును,

3. For Zedekiah King of Iudah had shut him vp, saying, Wherefore doest thou prophesie, and say, Thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I will giue this citie into the handes of the King of Babel, and he shall take it?

4. అతడు సిద్కియాను బబులోనునకు కొనిపోవును, నేను అతని దర్శించువరకు అతడక్కడనే యుండును; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు;

4. And Zedekiah the King of Iudah shall not escape out of the hande of the Caldeans, but shall surely be deliuered into the handes of the King of Babel, and shall speake with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall beholde his face,

5. మీరు కల్దీయులతో యుద్ధము చేసినను మీరు జయము నొందరు, అను మాటలు నీవేల ప్రకటించుచున్నావని యిర్మీయాతో చెప్పి అతనిని చెరలో వేయించి యుండెను; కాగా ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా యూదా రాజు మందిరములోనున్న చెరసాల ప్రాకారములో ఉంచబడియుండెను.

5. And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babel, and there shall he be, vntil I visit him, saith ye Lord: though ye fight with the Caldeans, ye shall not prosper.

6. అంతట యిర్మీయా ఇట్లనెను యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను
మత్తయి 27:9-10

6. And Ieremiah said, The word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,

7. నీ తండ్రి తోడబుట్టిన షల్లూము కుమారుడగు హనమేలు నీయొద్దకు వచ్చి అనాతోతులోనున్న నా భూమిని కొనుటకు విమోచకుని ధర్మము నీదే, దాని కొనుక్కొనుమని చెప్పును.

7. Beholde, Hanameel, the sonne of Shallum thine vncle, shall come vnto thee and say, Bye vnto thee my fielde, that is in Anathoth: for the title by kindred appertaineth vnto thee to bye it.

8. కావున నా తండ్రి తోడబుట్టినవాని కుమారుడైన హన మేలు యెహోవా మాటచొప్పున చెరసాల ప్రాకారములోనున్న నాయొద్దకు వచ్చిబెన్యామీను దేశమందలి అనాతోతులోనున్న నా భూమిని దయచేసి కొనుము, దానికి వారసుడవు నీవే, దాని విమోచనము నీవలననే జరుగవలెను, దాని కొనుక్కొనుమని నాతో అనగా, అది యెహోవా వాక్కు అని నేను తెలిసికొని

8. So Hanameel, mine vncles sonne, came to mee in the court of the prison, according to the word of the Lord, and said vnto me, Bye my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the countrey of Beniamin: for the right of the possession is thine, and the purchase belongeth vnto thee: bye it for thee. Then I knewe that this was the worde of the Lord.

9. నా తండ్రి తోడబుట్టినవాని కుమారుడైన హనమేలు పొలమును కొని, పదియేడు తులముల వెండి తూచి ఆతనికిచ్చితిని.

9. And I bought the field of Hanameel, mine vncles sonne, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the siluer, euen seuen shekels, and tenne pieces of siluer.

10. నేను క్రయ పత్రము వ్రాసి ముద్రవేసి సాక్షులను పిలిపించి త్రాసుతో ఆ వెండి తూచి

10. And I writ it in the booke and signed it, and tooke witnesses, and weighed him the siluer in the balances.

11. క్రయపత్రమును, అనగా ముద్రగల విడుదల కైకోలును ఒడంబడికను ముద్రలేని విడుదల కైకోలును ఒడంబడికను తీసికొంటిని.

11. So I tooke the booke of the possession, being sealed according to the Lawe, and custome, with the booke that was open,

12. అప్పుడు నా తండ్రి తోడబుట్టినవాని కుమారుడైన హనమేలు ఎదుటను, ఆ క్రయపత్రములో చేవ్రాలు చేసిన సాక్షుల యెదుటను, చెరసాల ప్రాకారములో కూర్చున్న యూదు లందరియెదుటను, నేను మహ సేయా కుమారుడగు నేరీయా కుమారుడైన బారూకునకు ఆ క్రయపత్రమును అప్పగించి వారి కన్నుల యెదుట బారూకునకు ఈలాగు ఆజ్ఞాపించి తిని.

12. And I gaue the booke of the possession vnto Baruch the sonne of Neriah, the sonne of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine vncles sonne, and in the presence of the witnesses, written in the booke of the possession, before al the Iewes that sate in the court of the prison.

13. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా

13. And I charged Baruch before them, saying,

14. ఈ పత్రములను, అనగా ముద్రగల యీ క్రయపత్రమును ముద్రలేని క్రయపత్రమును, నీవు తీసికొని అవి బహుదినములుండునట్లు మంటికుండలో వాటిని దాచిపెట్టుము.

14. Thus saith the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Take the writings, euen this booke of the possession, both that is sealed, and this booke that is open, and put them in an earthen vessell, that they may continue a long time.

15. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఇండ్లును పొలములును ద్రాక్షతోటలును ఇంక ఈ దేశములో కొనబడును.

15. For the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel saith thus, Houses and fieldes, and vineyardes shall be possessed againe in this land.

16. నేరీయా కుమారుడైన బారూకుచేతికి ఆ క్రయ పత్రమును నేనప్పగించిన తరువాత యెహోవాకు ఈలాగున ప్రార్థన చేసితిని

16. Now when I had deliuered the booke of the possession vnto Baruch, the sonne of Neriah, I prayed vnto the Lord, saying,

17. యెహోవా, ప్రభువా సైన్య ములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా అను పేరు వహించువాడా, శూరుడా, మహాదేవా, నీ యధికబలముచేతను చాచిన బాహువుచేతను భూమ్యాకాశములను సృజించితివి, నీకు అసాధ్యమైనదేదియు లేదు.

17. Ah Lord God, beholde, thou hast made the heauen and the earth by thy great power, and by thy stretched out arme, and there is nothing hard vnto thee.

18. నీవు వేవేలమందికి కృపచూపుచు, తండ్రుల దోషమును వారి తరువాత వారి పిల్లల ఒడిలో వేయువాడవు.

18. Thou shewest mercie vnto thousands, and recompensest the iniquitie of the fathers into the bosome of their children after them: O God the great and mightie, whose Name is ye Lord of hostes,

19. ఆలోచన విషయములో నీవే గొప్పవాడవు, క్రియలు జరిగించు విషయములో శక్తి సంపన్నుడవు, వారి ప్రవర్తనలనుబట్టియు వారి క్రియాఫలమును బట్టియు అందరికి ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చుటకై నరపుత్రుల మార్గములన్నిటిని నీవు కన్నులార చూచుచున్నావు.

19. Great in counsell, and mightie in worke, (for thine eyes are open vpon all the wayes of ye sonnes of men, to giue to euery one according to his wayes, and according to the fruite of his workes)

20. నీవు ఐగుప్తుదేశములో చేసినట్టు నేటివరకు ఇశ్రాయేలు వారి మధ్యను ఇతర మనుష్యుల మధ్యను సూచక క్రియలను మహత్కార్యములను చేయుచు నేటి వలె నీకు కీర్తి తెచ్చుకొనుచున్నావు.

20. Which hast set signes and wonders in the land of Egypt vnto this day, and in Israel, and among all men, and hast made thee a Name, as appeareth this day,

21. సూచక క్రియలను మహత్కార్యములను జరిగించుచు మహా బలముకలిగి, చాపిన చేతులు గలవాడవై మహాభయము పుట్టించి, ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి నీ ప్రజలను రప్పించి

21. And hast brought thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signes, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, with a stretched out arme, and with great terrour,

22. మీ కిచ్చెదనని వారి పితరులకు ప్రమాణముచేసి, పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు ఈ దేశమును వారి కిచ్చితివి.

22. And hast giuen them this land, which thou diddest sweare to their fathers to giue them, euen a land, that floweth with milke and hony,

23. వారు ప్రవేశించి దాని స్వతంత్రించుకొనిరి గాని నీ మాట వినకపోయిరి, నీ ధర్మశాస్త్రము ననుసరింపకపోయిరి. వారు చేయవలె నని నీవాజ్ఞాపించినవాటిలో దేనిని చేయకపోయిరి గనుక ఈ కీడంతయు వారిమీదికి రప్పించియున్నావు.

23. And they came in, and possessed it, but they obeyed not thy voyce, neither walked in thy Law: all that thou commaundedst them to doe, they haue not done: therefore thou hast caused this whole plague to come vpon them.

24. ముట్టడి దిబ్బలను చూడుము, పట్టణమును పట్టుకొనుటకు అవి దానికి సమీపించుచున్నవి, ఖడ్గము క్షామము తెగులు వచ్చుటవలన దానిమీద యుద్ధముచేయుచుండు కల్దీయుల చేతికి ఈ పట్టణము అప్పగింపబడును; నీవు సెలవిచ్చినది సంభవించెను, నీవే దాని చూచుచున్నావు గదా?

24. Beholde, the mounts, they are come into the citie to take it, and the citie is giuen into the hande of the Caldeans, that fight against it by meanes of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence, and what thou hast spoken, is come to passe, and beholde, thou seest it.

25. యెహోవా ప్రభువాధనమిచ్చి యీ పొలమును కొను క్కొని సాక్షులను పిలుచుకొనుమని నీవే నాతో సెల విచ్చితివి, అయితే ఈ పట్టణము కల్దీయుల చేతికి అప్పగింప బడుచున్నది.

25. And thou hast sayd vnto me, O Lord God, Bye vnto thee the fielde for siluer, and take witnesses: for the citie shall be giuen into the hand of the Caldeans.

26. అంతట యెహోవావాక్కు యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

26. Then came the worde of the Lord vnto Ieremiah, saying,

27. నేను యెహోవాను, సర్వశరీ రులకు దేవుడను, నాకు అసాధ్యమైనదేదైన నుండునా?

27. Beholde, I am the LORD GOD of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

28. కావున యెహోవా ఈమాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఇదిగో నేను ఈ పట్టణమును కల్దీయుల చేతికిని బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు చేతికిని అప్పగింపబోవు చున్నాను; అతడు దాని పట్టుకొనగా

28. Therefore thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I wil giue this citie into the hand of the Caldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar, King of Babel, and he shall take it.

29. ఈ పట్టణము మీద యుద్ధముచేయు కల్దీయులు వచ్చి, యీ పట్టణమునకు అగ్ని ముట్టించి, యే మిద్దెలమీద జనులు బయలునకు ధూపార్పణచేసి అన్యదేవతలకు పానార్పణములనర్పించి నాకు కోపము పుట్టించిరో ఆ మిద్దెలన్నిటిని కాల్చివేసె దరు.

29. And the Caldeans shall come and fight against this citie, and set fire on this citie and burne it, with the houses, vpon whose rouses they haue offred incense vnto Baal, and powred drinke offrings vnto other gods, to prouoke me vnto anger.

30. ఏలయనగా ఇశ్రాయేలువారును యూదావారును తమ బాల్యము మొదలుకొని నాయెదుట చెడుతనమే చేయుచు వచ్చుచున్నారు, తమ చేతుల క్రియవలన వారు నాకు కోపమే పుట్టించువారు; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

30. For the children of Israel, and the children of Iudah haue surely done euill before me from their youth: for the children of Israel haue surely prouoked me to anger with the workes of their hands, saith the Lord.

31. నా కోపము రేపుటకు ఇశ్రాయేలువారును యూదా వారును వారి రాజులును వారి ప్రధానులును వారి యాజకులును వారి ప్రవక్తలును యూదా జనులును యెరూషలేము నివాసులును చూపిన దుష్‌ప్రవర్తన అంతటినిబట్టి,

31. Therefore this citie hath bene vnto me as a prouocation of mine anger, and of my wrath, from the day, that they built it, euen vnto this day, that I should remoue it out of my sight,

32. నా యెదుటనుండి వారి దుష్‌ప్రవర్తనను నేను నివారణచేయ ఉద్దేశించునట్లు, వారు ఈ పట్టణమును కట్టిన దినము మొదలుకొని ఇదివరకును అది నాకు కోపము పుట్టించుటకు కారణమాయెను.

32. Because of all the euill of the children of Israel, and of the children of Iudah, which they haue done to prouoke mee to anger, euen they, their Kings, their Princes, their Priests, and their Prophets, and the men of Iudah, and the inhabitants of Ierusalem.

33. నేను పెందలకడ లేచి వారికి బోధించినను వారు నా బోధ నంగీకరింపక పోయిరి, వారు నా తట్టు ముఖము త్రిప్పుకొనక వీపునే త్రిప్పుకొనిరి.

33. And they haue turned vnto me the backe and not the face: though I taught them rising vp earely, and instructing them, yet they were not obedient to receiue doctrine,

34. మరియు నా పేరు పెట్టబడిన మందిరమును అపవిత్రపరచుటకు దానిలో హేయమైనవాటిని పెట్టిరి.

34. But they set their abominations in ye house (whereupon my Name was called) to defile it,

35. వారు తమ కుమారులను కుమార్తెలను ప్రతిష్టింపవలెనని బెన్‌ హిన్నోము లోయలోనున్న బయలునకు బలిపీఠము లను కట్టించిరి, ఆలాగు చేయుటకు నేను వారి కాజ్ఞాపింప లేదు, యూదావారు పాపములో పడి, యెవరైన నిట్టి హేయక్రియలు చేయుదురన్నమాట నా కెన్నడును తోచలేదు.

35. And they built the hie places of Baal, which are in the valley of Ben-hinnom, to cause their sonnes and their daughters to passe through the fire vnto Molech, which I commanded them not, neither came it into my minde, that they should doe such abomination, to cause Iudah to sinne.

36. కావున ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఈ పట్టణ మునుగూర్చి యీ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు అది ఖడ్గముచేతను క్షామముచేతను తెగులుచేతను పీడింపబడినదై బబులోనురాజు చేతికి అప్పగింపబడునని మీరీ పట్టణమును గూర్చి చెప్పుచున్నారు గదా.

36. And nowe therefore, thus hath the Lord God of Israel spoken, concerning this citie, whereof ye say, It shalbe deliuered into the hand of the King of Babel by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence,

37. ఇదిగో నాకు కలిగిన కోపోద్రేకముచేతను మహా రౌద్రముచేతను నేను వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టిన దేశములన్నిటిలోనుండి వారిని సమకూర్చి యీ స్థలమునకు తిరిగి రప్పించి వారిని నిర్భయముగా నివసింపజేసెదను.

37. Beholde, I will gather them out of all countreys, wherein I haue scattered them in mine anger, and in my wrath, and in great indignation, and I wil bring them againe vnto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely.

38. వారు నాకు ప్రజలైయుందురు నేను వారికి దేవుడనై యుందును.

38. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

39. మరియు వారికిని వారి కుమారులకును మేలు కలుగుటకై వారు నిత్యము నాకు భయపడునట్లు నేను వారికి ఏకహృదయమును ఏక మార్గమును దయచేయుదును.

39. And I wil giue them one heart and one way that they may feare me for euer for ye wealth of them, and of their children after them.

40. నేను వారికి మేలు చేయుట మానకుండునట్లు నిత్యమైన నిబంధనను వారితో చేయు చున్నాను; వారు నన్ను విడువకుండునట్లు వారి హృదయములలో నా యెడల భయభక్తులు పుట్టించెదను.

40. And I wil make an euerlasting couenant with them, that I wil neuer turne away from them to doe them good, but I wil put my feare in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

41. వారికి మేలుచేయుటకు వారియందు ఆనందించుచున్నాను, నా పూర్ణహృదయముతోను నా పూర్ణాత్మతోను ఈ దేశములో నిశ్చయముగా వారిని నాటెదను.

41. Yea, I wil delite in them to do them good, and I wil plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart, and with all my soule.

42. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడునేెెను ఈ ప్రజలమీదికి ఇంత గొప్ప కీడు రప్పించిన రీతినే నేను వారినిగూర్చి చెప్పిన మేలంత టిని వారిమీదికి రప్పింపబోవుచున్నాను.

42. For thus sayth the Lord, Like as I haue brought all this great plague vpon this people, so wil I bring vpon them all the good that I haue promised them.

43. ఇది పాడై పోయెను, దానిలో నరులు లేరు, పశువులు లేవు, ఇది కల్దీయులచేతికి ఇయ్యబడియున్నదని మీరు చెప్పుచున్న ఈ దేశమున పొలములు విక్రయింపబడును.

43. And the fields shalbe possessed in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast, and shalbe giuen into the hand of the Caldeans.

44. నేను వారిలో చెరపోయినవారిని రప్పింపబోవుచున్నాను గనుక బెన్యామీను దేశములోను యెరూషలేము ప్రాంతములలోను యూదా పట్టణములలోను మన్యములోని పట్టణములలోను దక్షిణదేశపు పట్టణములలోను మనుష్యులు క్రయమిచ్చి పొలములు కొందురు, క్రయపత్రములు వ్రాయించుకొందురు, ముద్రవేయుదురు, సాక్షులను పెట్టుదురు; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

44. Men shall buy fields for siluer, and make writings and seale them, and take witnesses in the land of Beniamin, and round about Ierusalem, and in the cities of Iudah, and in the cities of the mountaines, and in the cities of the plaine, and in the cities of the South: for I wil cause their captiuitie to returne, saith the Lord.
