1. యెహోవా, నాతో వ్యాజ్యెమాడు వారితో వ్యాజ్యెమాడుము నాతో పోరాడువారితో పోరాడుము.

1. David's. Contend, O Yahweh, with them who contend with me, Make war upon them who make war upon me.

2. కేడెమును డాలును పట్టుకొని నా సహాయమునకై లేచి నిలువుము.

2. Grasp buckler and shield, and arise in my help;

3. ఈటె దూసి నన్ను తరుమువారిని అడ్డగింపుము నేనే నీ రక్షణ అని నాతో సెలవిమ్ము.

3. Then draw the spear, and close up against my pursuers, Say to my soul, Thy salvation, I am!

4. నా ప్రాణము తీయగోరువారికి సిగ్గును అవమానమును కలుగును గాక నాకు కీడుచేయ నాలోచించువారు వెనుకకు మళ్లింపబడి లజ్జపడుదురు గాక.

4. Let them be ashamed and confounded, who are seeking my life, Let them turn back and be put to the blush, who are devising my hurt:

5. యెహోవా దూత వారిని పారదోలును గాక వారు గాలికి కొట్టుకొనిపోవు పొట్టువలె నుందురు గాక.

5. Let them be as chaff before the wind, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pressing them on:

6. యెహోవా దూత వారిని తరుమును గాక వారి త్రోవ చీకటియై జారుడుగా నుండును గాక.

6. Let their way become dark and slippery, with, the messenger of Yahweh, pursuing them.

7. నన్ను పట్టుకొనవలెనని వారు నిర్నిమిత్తముగా గుంటలో తమ వల నొడ్డిరి నా ప్రాణము తీయవలెనని నిర్నిమిత్తముగా గుంట త్రవ్విరి.

7. For, without cause, have they hid for me, in a ditch, their net, Without cause, have they digged a pit for my life.

8. వానికి తెలియకుండ చేటు వానిమీదికి వచ్చును గాక తాను ఒడ్డిన వలలో తానే చిక్కుబడును గాక వాడు ఆ చేటులోనే పడును గాక.
రోమీయులకు 11:9-10

8. There shall reach him a ruin he could not know, Yea, his own net which he hath hidden, shall capture him, Into that ruin, shall he fall!

9. అప్పుడు యెహోవాయందు నేను హర్షించుదును ఆయన రక్షణనుబట్టి నేను సంతోషించుదును.

9. But, my soul, shall exult in Yahweh, shall be glad in his salvation.

10. అప్పుడు యెహోవా నీవంటివాడెవడు? మించిన బలముగలవారి చేతినుండి దీనులను దోచుకొనువారి చేతినుండి దీనులను దరిద్రులను విడిపించువాడవు నీవే అని నా యెముకలన్నియు చెప్పుకొనును.

10. All my bones, shall say O Yahweh, who is like unto thee? Rescuing the oppressed from one stronger than he, Yea the oppressed and the needy, from their spoiler.

11. కూటసాక్షులు లేచుచున్నారు నేనెరుగని సంగతులనుగూర్చి నన్ను అడుగుచున్నారు.

11. There rise up witnesses helping forward violence and wrong, What I know not, they demand of me:

12. మేలునకు ప్రతిగా నాకు కీడు చేయుచున్నారు నేను దిక్కులేనివాడనైతిని.

12. They repay me evil for good, Bereaving my soul.

13. వారు వ్యాధితో నున్నప్పుడు గోనెపట్ట కట్టుకొంటిని ఉపవాసముచేత నా ప్రాణమును ఆయాసపరచు కొంటిని అయినను నా ప్రార్థన నా యెదలోనికే తిరిగి వచ్చి యున్నది.
రోమీయులకు 12:15

13. But, as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth, I humbled, with fasting, my soul, though, my prayer, unto mine own bosom, might return:

14. అతడు నాకు చెలికాడైనట్టును సహోదరుడైనట్టును నేను నడుచుకొంటిని తన తల్లి మృతినొందినందున దుఃఖవస్త్రములు ధరించు వానివలె క్రుంగుచుంటిని.

14. Like as for a friend, like as for a brother of mine own, I walked to and fro, As though mourning for a mother, I gloomily bowed myself down.

15. నేను కూలియుండుట చూచి వారు సంతోషించి గుంపుకూడిరి నీచులును నేనెరుగనివారును నా మీదికి కూడివచ్చి మానక నన్ను నిందించిరి.

15. But, in mine overthrow, have they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together, There gathered themselves together against me foolish men, and I knew it not, They have torn in pieces, and not been silent;

16. విందుకాలమునందు దూషణలాడు వదరుబోతులవలె వారు నా మీద పండ్లుకొరికిరి.

16. Amidst profane praters of perversion, have they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

17. ప్రభువా, నీవెన్నాళ్లు చూచుచు ఊరకుందువు? వారు నాశనము చేయకుండ నా ప్రాణమును రక్షింపుము నా ప్రాణమును సింహముల నోటనుండి విడిపింపుము

17. My Lord! how long wilt thou look on? Bring back my soul out of their raging, from among lions, my solitary self.

18. అప్పుడు మహాసమాజములో నేను నిన్ను స్తుతించెదను బహు జనులలో నిన్ను నుతించెదను.

18. I will thank thee, in the midst of a great convocation, In the midst of a mighty people, will I praise thee.

19. నిర్హేతుకముగా నాకు శత్రువులైనవారిని నన్నుగూర్చి సంతోషింపనియ్యకుము నిర్నిమిత్తముగా నన్ను ద్వేషించువారిని కన్ను గీటనియ్యకుము.
యోహాను 15:25

19. Let not them who are falsely my foes rejoice over me, As for them who hate me without cause, let them not wink the eye!

20. వారు సమాధానపు మాటలు ఆడరు దేశమందు నెమ్మదిగానున్న వారికి విరోధముగా వారు కపటయోచనలు చేయుదురు.

20. For, no salvation, will they utter, But, against the quiet of the land, deceitful things, do they devise;

21. నన్ను దూషించుటకై వారు నోరు పెద్దదిగా తెరచు కొనుచున్నారు. ఆహా ఆహా యిప్పుడు వాని సంగతి మాకు కనబడినదే అనుచున్నారు.

21. Yea they have opened wide against me their mouth, They have said, Aha! Aha! our own eye, hath seen!

22. యెహోవా, అది నీకే కనబడుచున్నది గదా మౌన ముగా నుండకుము నా ప్రభువా, నాకు దూరముగా నుండకుము.

22. Thou hast seen, O Yahweh, do not keep silence! O My Lord! be not far from me:

23. నాకు న్యాయము తీర్చుటకు మేలుకొనుము నా దేవా నా ప్రభువా, నా పక్షమున వ్యాజ్యె మాడుటకు లెమ్ము.

23. Bestir thyself and wake up, to my vindication, O my God and My Lord! to my plea:

24. యెహోవా నా దేవా, నీ నీతినిబట్టి నాకు న్యాయము తీర్చుము నన్ను బట్టి వారు సంతోషింపకుందురు గాక.

24. Vindicate me according to thy righteousness, O Yahweh, my God! And let them not rejoice over me:

25. ఆహా మా ఆశ తీరెను అని మనస్సులో వారు అనుకొనకపోదురు గాక వాని మింగివేసితిమని వారు చెప్పుకొనకయుందురు గాక

25. Let them not say in their heart, Aha! to our mind! Let them not say, We have swallowed him up!

26. నా అపాయమునుచూచి సంతోషించువారందరు అవ మానము నొందుదురుగాక లజ్జపడుదురు గాక నా మీద అతిశయపడువారు సిగ్గుపడి అపకీర్తిపాలగుదురు గాక

26. Let them turn pale, and then at once blush, who are rejoicing at my misfortune, Let them be clothed with shame and confusion, who are magnifying themselves against me.

27. నా నిర్దోషత్వమునుబట్టి ఆనందించువారు ఉత్సాహధ్వనిచేసి సంతోషించుదురు గాక తన సేవకుని క్షేమమును చూచి ఆనందించు యెహోవా ఘనపరచబడును గాక అని వారు నిత్యము పలుకుదురు.

27. Let them shout in triumph and rejoice, who are desiring my justification; And let them say continually, Yahweh be magnified, Who hath taken pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

28. నా నాలుక నీ నీతినిగూర్చియు నీ కీర్తినిగూర్చియు దినమెల్ల సల్లాపములు చేయును.

28. Mine own tongue also, shall softly utter thy righteousness, All the day long, thy praise!
