1. తరువాత తూరునకు రాజైన హీరాము తన తండ్రికి బదులుగా సొలొమోను పట్టాభిషేకము నొందెనని విని తన సేవకులను సొలొమోనునొద్దకు పంపెను; ఏలయనగా హీరాము ఎప్పటికి దావీదుతో స్నేహముగా నుండెను.

1. And Hira king of Tyre sent his seruauntes vnto Solomon (for he had hearde that they had annoynted him king in the roome of his father) For Hira was euer a louer of Dauid.

2. హీరామునొద్దకు సొలొమోను ఈ వర్తమానము పంపెను.

2. And Solomon sent to Hiram, saying:

3. యెహోవా నా తండ్రియైన దావీదు శత్రువులను అతని పాదములక్రింద అణచు వరకు అన్నివైపులను యుద్ధములు అతనికి కలిగియుండెను.

3. Thou knowest howe that Dauid my father could not buyld an house vnto the name of the Lorde his God for the warres which were about him on euery syde, vntill the Lorde put them vnder the soles of his feete.

4. తన దేవుడైన యెహోవా నామ ఘనతకు అతడు మందిరమును కట్టింప వీలులేక పోయెనన్న సంగతి నీ వెరుగుదువు. ఇప్పుడు శత్రువు ఒకడును లేకుండను అపాయమేమియు కలుగకుండను నా దేవుడైన యెహోవా నలుదిశలను నాకు నెమ్మది దయచేసి యున్నాడు.

4. But now the Lorde my God hath geuen me rest on euery syde, so that there is neither aduersarie nor euill to resist.

5. కాబట్టినీ సింహాసనముమీద నేను నీకు బదులుగా కూర్చుండబెట్టు నీ కుమారుడు నా నామఘనతకు ఒక మందిరమును కట్టించునని యెహోవా నా తండ్రి యైన దావీదునకు సెలవిచ్చినట్లు నా దేవు డైన యెహోవా నామఘనతకు ఒక మందిరమును కట్టించుటకు నేను ఉద్దేశము గలవాడనై యున్నాను.

5. And beholde, I am determined to build an house vnto ye name of the Lord my God, as the Lord spake vnto Dauid my father, saying: Thy sonne whom I wil set vpon thy seate for thee, he shal build an house vnto my name.

6. లెబానోనులో దేవదారు మ్రానులను నరికించుటకై నాకు సెలవిమ్ము; నా సేవకులును నీ సేవకులును కలిసి పని చేయుదురు; మ్రానులను నరుకుట యందు సీదోనీయులకు సాటియైనవారు మాలో ఎవరును లేరని నీకు తెలియును గనుక

6. Now therefore commaund thou that they hewe me Cedar trees out of Libanon, & my seruautes shalbe with thyne, and vnto thee wyll I geue the hyre for thy seruauntes, accordyng to all such thinges as thou shalt appoynt: for thou knowest that there are not among vs that can skyl to hewe tymber, lyke vnto the Sidones.

7. నీ యేర్పాటుచొప్పున నేను నీ సేవకుల జీతము నీకిచ్చెదను అనెను. హీరాము సొలొమోను చెప్పిన మాటలు విని బహుగా సంతోషపడి ఈ గొప్ప జనమును ఏలుటకు జ్ఞానముగల కుమారుని దావీదునకు దయచేసిన యెహోవాకు ఈ దినమున స్తోత్రము కలుగునుగాక అని చెప్పి

7. And it came to passe, when Hiram heard ye wordes of Solomo, he reioysed greatly, & said: Blessed be the Lord this day, which hath geuen vnto Dauid a wyse sonne ouer this mightie people.

8. సొలొమోనునకు ఈ వర్తమానము పంపెనునీవు నాయొద్దకు పంపిన వర్త మానమును నేను అంగీకరించితిని; దేవదారు మ్రానులను గూర్చియు సరళపు మ్రానులనుగూర్చియు నీ కోరిక యంతటి ప్రకారము నేను చేయించెదను.

8. And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying: I haue considered the thinges which thou sentest to me for, & wyl accomplishe all thy desyre concerning tymber of Cedar trees and firre.

9. నా సేవకులు వాటిని లెబానోనునుండి సముద్రమునొద్దకు తెచ్చెదరు; అప్పుడు వాటిని తెప్పలుగా కట్టించి నీవు నాకు నిర్ణయించు స్థలమునకు సముద్రముమీద చేరునట్లు చేసి, అక్కడ అవి నీకు అప్పగింపబడు బందోబస్తు నేను చేయుదును, నీవు వాటిని తీసికొందువు. ఇందునుగూర్చి నీవు నాకోరిక చొప్పున జరిగించి నా యింటివారి సంరక్షణకొరకు ఆహా రము ఇచ్చెదవు.

9. My seruauntes shall bring them from Libanon to the sea, and I wyl conuey them by sea in flootes vnto the place that thou shalt shew me, and wil cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receaue them: and thou shalt do me a pleasure againe, if thou minister foode for myne house.

10. హీరాము సొలొమోనునకు ఇష్టమైనంత మట్టుకు దేవదారు మ్రానులను సరళపు మ్రానులను పంపించగా

10. Aud so Hiram gaue Solomon Cedar trees and firre trees according to all his desyre.

11. సొలొమోను హీరామునకును అతని యింటి వారి సంరక్షణకును ఆహారముగా రెండులక్షల తూముల గోధుమలను మూడు వేల ఎనిమిదివందల పళ్ల స్వచ్ఛమైన నూనెను పంపించెను. ఈ ప్రకారము సొలొమోను ప్రతి సంవత్సరము హీరామునకు ఇచ్చుచువచ్చెను.

11. And Solomon gaue Hiram twentie thousand quarters of wheate for foode to his housholde, and twentie buts of pure oyle: Thus much gaue Solomon to Hiram yere by yere.

12. యెహోవా సొలొమోనునకు చేసిన వాగ్దానము చొప్పున అతనికి జ్ఞానము దయచేసెను; మరియు హీరామును సొలొమోనును సంధిచేయగా వారిద్దరికి సమాధానము కలిగియుండెను.

12. And the Lorde gaue Solomon wisedome as he promysed him: And there was peace betweene Hiram and Solomon, & they two were consedered together.

13. రాజైన సొలొమోను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరిచేతను వెట్టిపని చేయించెను; వారిలో ముప్పదివేలమంది వెట్టి పని చేయువారైరి,

13. And king Solomon raysed a summe out of Israel, and the summe was thirtie thousand men:

14. వీరిని అతడు వంతులచొప్పున నెలకు పది వేలమందిని లెబానోనునకు పంపించెను; ఒక నెల లెబా నోనులోను రెండు నెలలు ఇంటియొద్దను వారు ఉండిరి; ఆ వెట్టివారిమీద అదోనీరాము అధికారియై యుండెను.

14. Whom he sent to Libanon, ten thousand a moneth by course: so that when they had ben one moneth in Libanon, they abode two monethes at home: And Adoniram was ouer the summe.

15. మరియు సొలొమోనునకు బరువులు మోయువారు డెబ్బది వేలమందియు పర్వతములందు మ్రానులు నరకువారు ఎను బది వేలమందియు నుండిరి.

15. And Solomon had threescore and ten thousand that bare burdens, and foure score thousand masons in the mountaines:

16. వీరు కాక పనిమీదనున్న సొలొ మోను శిల్పకారులకు అధికారులు మూడువేల మూడువందలమంది; వీరు పనివారిమీద అధికారులై యుండిరి.

16. Besides the lordes whom Solomon appoynted to ouersee the worke, euen three thousand & three hundred, which ruled the people [& them] that wrought in the worke.

17. రాజు సెలవియ్యగా వారు మందిరముయొక్క పునాదిని చెక్కిన రాళ్లతో వేయుటకు గొప్ప రాళ్లను మిక్కిలి వెలగల రాళ్లను తెప్పించిరి.

17. And the king commaunded them to bring great stones, costly stones, & hewed stones, for the foundatio of the house.

18. ఈలాగున సొలొమోను పంపినవారును గిబ్లీయులును, హీరాము శిల్పకారు లును మ్రానులను నరికి రాళ్లను మలిచి మందిరము కట్టుటకు మ్రానులను రాళ్లను సిద్ధపరచిరి.

18. And Solomons masons, and the masons of Hiram did hewe them, and the stone squarers: And so they prepared both tymber and stones, for the building of the house.
