1. షేబదేశపురాణి యెహోవా నామమును గూర్చియు, సొలొమోనునకు కలిగిన కీర్తినిగూర్చియు విని, గూఢార్థముగల మాటలచేత అతనిని శోధించుటకై వచ్చెను.

1. And whan kynge Salomons fame of the name of the LORDE came to the eares of the Quene of riche Arabia, she came to proue him with darke sentences.

2. ఆమె గొప్ప పరివారముతో, గంధవర్గమును విస్తారమైన బంగారమును రత్నములను ఒంటెలమీద ఎక్కించుకొని యెరూషలేమునకు వచ్చెను. సొలొమోను దర్శనముచేసి తనకు తోచినదానినంతటినిబట్టి అతనితో మాటలాడగా

2. And she came to Ierusalem with a maruelous greate trayne, with camels which bare spyces, and moch golde, and precious stones And whan she came in to kynge Salomon, she spake vnto him all that was in hir hert.

3. ఆమె వేసిన ప్రశ్నలన్ని టికి సొలొమోను ప్రత్యుత్తరము చెప్పెను; రాజునకు మరుగైనదేదియు లేనందున ఆమె ప్రశ్న వేసినవాటన్నిటి భావము చెప్పెను.

3. And Salomon tolde her euerythinge, and the kynge had nothinge in secrete, but he tolde it her.

4. షేబరాణి సొలొమోనుయొక్క జ్ఞానమును అతడు కట్టించిన మందిరమును,

4. But whan the Quene of riche Arabia sawe all the wy?dome of Salomon, and the house that he had buylded,

5. అతని బల్లమీదనున్న భోజనద్రవ్య ములను, అతని సేవకులు కూర్చుండు పీఠములను అతని ఉపచారులు కనిపెట్టుటను, వారి వస్త్రములను, అతనికి గిన్నె నందించువారిని, యెహోవా మందిరమందు అతడు అర్పించు దహనబలులను చూచి విస్మయమొందినదై

5. and the meates of his table, and the dwellinges of his seruauntes, & the offyces of his ministers, and their garmentes, and his butlers and the burntofferynges which he offred in the house of the LORDE, she wondred exceadingly, and coulde no longer refrayne,

6. రాజుతో ఇట్లనెనునీ కార్యములనుగూర్చియు జ్ఞానమును గూర్చియు నా దేశమందు నేను వినిన మాట నిజమే;

6. but sayde vnto the kynge: It is true that I haue herde in my londe of thy behauoure and of thy wy?dome.

7. అయి నను నేను వచ్చి కన్నులార చూడకమునుపు ఆ మాటలను నమ్మకయుంటిని; ఉన్నదానిలో సగమైనను నాతో చెప్ప బడలేదని యిప్పుడు నేను తెలిసి కొనుచున్నాను. నీ జ్ఞానమును నీ భాగ్యమును నేను వినినదానిని బహుగా మించి యున్నవి;

7. And I wolde not beleue it, tyll I came and sawe it with myne eyes: and beholde, the halfe hath not bene tolde me. hou hast more wy?dome and good, the the fame is that I haue herde.

8. నీ జనులు భాగ్యవంతులు, నీ ముందర ఎల్లప్పు డును నిలిచి నీ జ్ఞానవచనములను వినుచుండు నీ సేవకులును భాగ్యవంతులు

8. Happye are thy people and thy seruauntes, that allwaie stonde before the, and heare thy wy?dome.

9. నీ యందు ఆనందించి నిన్ను ఇశ్రా యేలీయులమీద రాజుగా నియమించిన నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు స్తోత్రము కలుగునుగాక. యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందు శాశ్వత ప్రేమయుంచెను గనుక నీతిన్యాయములను అనుసరించి రాజకార్యములను జరిగిం చుటకు ఆయన నిన్ను నియమించెను అనెను.

9. Praysed be the LORDE thy God, which had soch a pleasure vnto the, that he set the vpon the seate of Israel: because he hath allwaye loued Israel, and hath set the to be kynge, that thou shuldest mantayne iustyce and equyte.

10. మరియు ఆమె రాజునకు రెండువందల నలువది మణుగుల బంగార మును, బహు విస్తారమైన గంధవర్గమును, రత్నములను ఇచ్చెను. షేబదేశపు రాణి రాజైన సొలొమోనునకు ఇచ్చిన గంధ వర్గములంత విస్తారము మరి ఎన్నడైనను రాలేదు.

10. And she gaue the kynge syxe score hundreth weighte of golde, and very moch spyce, and precious stones. There came neuer so moch spyce thyther, as the Quene of riche Arabia gaue vnto kynge Salomon.

11. మరియు ఓఫీరు దేశమునుండి బంగారము తెచ్చిన హీరాము ఓడలు ఓఫీరునుండి చందనపు మ్రానులను రత్నములను బహు విస్తారముగా తెచ్చెను.

11. And Hirams shippes, which caried golde out of Ophir, broughte maruelous moch costly tymber and precious stones from Ophir.

12. ఈ చందనపు మ్రానుల చేత రాజు యెహోవా మందిరమునకును రాజనగరునకును స్తంభములను, గాయకులకు సితారాలను స్వరమండలములను చేయించెను. ఇప్పుడు అటువంటి చందనపు మ్రానులు దొరకవు, ఎక్కడను కనబడవు.

12. And of that costly tymber the kynge caused to make pilers in the house of the LORDE, and in ye kinges house, and harpes and Psalteries for the Musicians. There came nomore soch costly tymber, nether was it sene vnto this daye.

13. సొలొమోను తన ప్రభావమునకు తగినట్టు షేబదేశపు రాణికిచ్చినదిపోగ ఆమె కోరినప్రకారము ఆమె యిచ్ఛాపూర్తిగా ఆమె కిచ్చెను; అప్పుడు ఆమెయు ఆమె సేవకులును తమ దేశ మునకు తిరిగి వెళ్లిరి.

13. And kynge Salomon gaue the quene of riche Arabia, all that she desyred and axed, besydes that which he gaue her of a frye hande. And she returned, and departed in to hir lande with hir seruauntes.

14. ఏటేట సొలొమోనునకువచ్చు బంగారము వెయ్యిన్ని మూడువందల ముప్పదిరెండు మణుగుల యెత్తు.

14. The golde that came to Salomon in one yeare, was nyne and thyrtie score hundreth weighte,

15. ఇదియు గాక గంధవర్గములు మొదలైనవి వర్తకులయొద్దనుండియు అరబి రాజులయొద్ద నుండియు దేశాధికారుల యొద్ద నుండియు అతనికి చాలా వచ్చుచుండెను.

15. besydes that which came of chapmen, marchauntes and Apotecaries, and of the nexte kynges, and of the mightie men in the londe.

16. రాజైన సొలొమోను సుత్తెతో కొట్టిన బంగారముతో అలుగులు గల రెండువందల డాళ్లను చేయించెను; డాలు ఒకటింటికి ఆరువందల తులముల యెత్తు బంగారముండెను.

16. And kynge Salomon caused to make two hundreth speares of beaten golde, sixe hundreth peces of golde put he to euery speare:

17. మరియు సుత్తెతో కొట్టిన బంగారముతో అతడు మూడువందల కేడెములను చేయించెను; కేడెము ఒకటింటికి మూడువందల బంగారపు తులములయెత్తు బంగారముండెను; వీటిని రాజు లెబానోను అరణ్యపు మందిరమందుంచెను.

17. and thre hundreth shyldes of ye best golde, euen thre pounde of golde vpon euery shylde. And the kynge put them in the house of the wod of Libanus.

18. మరియు రాజు దంతముచేత పెద్ద సింహాసనము చేయించి సువర్ణముతో దాని పొదిగించెను.

18. And the kynge made a greate seate of Yuery, and ouerlayed it with ye most precious golde.

19. ఈ సింహాసనమునకు ఆరు మెట్లుండెను; సింహాసనము మీది భాగపు వెనుకతట్టు గుండ్రముగా ఉండెను; ఆసనమునకు ఇరుపార్శ్యముల యందు ఊతలుండెను; ఊతలదగ్గర రెండు సింహములు నిలిచియుండెను.

19. And the seate had sixe steppes, and ye heade of the seate was roude behynde. And there were two postes to leane vpo on both the sydes of the seate, and two lyons stode vpon the leanynge postes,

20. ఇరుప్రక్కల ఆరుమెట్లమీద పండ్రెండు సింహములు నిలిచియుండెను; అటువంటిది ఏ రాజ్యమందైనను చేయబడలేదు.

20. and twolue lyons stode vpon the sixe steppes on both the sydes. Soch one hath not bene made in eny kyngdome.

21. మరియు రాజైన సొలొ మోను పానపాత్రలు బంగారపువై యుండెను; లెబానోను అరణ్య మందిరపు పాత్రలును బంగారపువే, వెండిది యొకటియు లేదు; సొలొమోను దినములలో వెండి యెన్నికకు రాలేదు.

21. All kynge Salomos drynkynge vessels were of golde, and all the vessels in the house of ye wod of Libanus were of pure golde also: for syluer was not regarded in Salomons tyme.

22. సముద్రమందు హీరాము ఓడలతో కూడ తర్షీషు ఓడలును రాజునకు కలిగి యుండెను; ఈ తర్షీషు ఓడలు మూడు సంవత్సరములకు ఒకమారు బంగార మును వెండిని దంతమును కోతులను నెమిలి పిట్టలను తీసికొని వచ్చుచుండెను.

22. For the kynges Seeshippe yt sayled vpon the See with ye shippe of Hiram, came once in thre yeare, and broughte golde, syluer, Yuery, Apes, and Pecockes.

23. ఈ ప్రకారము రాజైన సొలొమోను ధనముచేతను జ్ఞానముచేతను భూపతులందరిలో అధికుడై యుండెను.

23. Thus was kynge Salomon greater in riches and wy?dome, then all the kynges vpo earth:

24. అతని హృదయమందు దేవుడు ఉంచిన జ్ఞానవాక్కులను వినుటకై లోకులందరును అతని చూడగోరిరి.

24. And all the worlde desyred to se Salomon, that they mighte heare the wy?dome which God gaue him in his hert.

25. ఏర్పాటైన ప్రతిమనిషి వెండివస్తువులు గాని, బంగారపు వస్తువులు గాని, వస్త్రములు గాని, యుద్ధాయుధములు గాని, గంధవర్గములు గాని, గుఱ్ఱములు గాని, కంచరగాడిదలు గాని, తన తన వంతుచొప్పున కట్నములను ఏటేట తీసికొని వచ్చుచుండెను.

25. And they broughte him yearly euery man his present, vessels of syluer and golde, rayment and harnesse, spyces, horses and Mules.

26. మరియు సొలొమోను రథములను రౌతులను సమకూర్చెను; అతడు వెయ్యిన్ని నాలుగువందల రథములును పండ్రెండువేల రౌతులును గలవాడై యుండెను; వీటిని అతడు రథములకై యేర్పడిన పురములలోను యెరూషలేమునందు రాజునొద్దను ఉంచ నిర్ణయించెను.

26. And Salomon broughte charettes and horsmen together, so that he had a thousande and foure hundreth charettes, and twolue thousande horsmen: and those he put in ye charet cities, and with the kynge at Ierusalem.

27. రాజు యెరూషలేములో వెండినిరాళ్లంత విస్తారముగా వాడుక చేసెను; దేవదారు మ్రానులను షెఫేలా ప్రదేశముననున్న మేడిచెట్లవలె విస్తరింప జేసెను.

27. And the kynge broughte it to passe, that there was as moch syluer at Ierusale as stones: and as many Ceders as there were wylde figge trees in the valleys.

28. సొలొమోనునకుండు గుఱ్ఱములు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి తేబడెను; రాజు వర్తకులు ఒక్కొక్క గుంపునకు నియా మకమైన ధరనిచ్చి గుంపులు గుంపులుగ కొనితెప్పించిరి.

28. And Salomos horses were broughte out of Egipte, and fro Reua: for the kynges marchauntes fetched them from Reua for money.

29. వారు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి కొని తెచ్చిన రథమొకటింటికి ఆరు వందల తులముల వెండియు, గుఱ్ఱమొకటింటికి నూట ఏబది తులముల వెండియు ఇచ్చిరి. హిత్తీయుల రాజు లందరికొరకును అరాము రాజులకొరకును వారు ఆ ధరకే వాటిని తీసికొనిరి.

29. And a charet came vp out of Egipte for sixe hudreth Sycles of Syluer, and an horse for an hudreth and fyftye. Thus were they brought also vnto all the kynges of the Hethites and to the kynges of Siria by their handes.
