1. ఆ కాలమందు బబులోనురాజును బలదాను కుమారుడునైన మెరోదక్బలదాను హిజ్కియా రోగియై బాగు పడిన సంగతి విని పత్రికలను కానుకను అతని యొద్దకు పంపగా

1. In that tyme Marodach Baladan, the sone of Baladam, the kyng of Babiloyne, sente bookis and yiftis to Ezechie; for he hadde herd, that Ezechie hadde be sijk, and was rekyuerid.

2. హిజ్కియా దూతలు వచ్చిన మాట విని వారిని లోపలికి రప్పించి, తన యింటనేమి రాజ్యమందేమి కలిగిన సమస్తవస్తువులలో దేనిని మరుగు చేయక తన పదార్థములు గల కొట్టును వెండి బంగారములను గంధవర్గములను పరిమళ తైలమును ఆయుధశాలను తన పదార్థములలో నున్న సమస్తమును వారికి చూపించెను.

6. రాబోవు దినములలో ఏమియు మిగులకుండ నీ యింటనున్న సమస్తమును, నేటివరకు నీ పితరులు సమ కూర్చి దాచిపెట్టినది అంతయును బబులోను పట్టణమునకు ఎత్తికొని పోవుదురని సైన్యముల కధిపతియగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు.

6. Lo! daies schulen come, and alle thingis that ben in thin hous, and whiche thingis thi fadris tresoriden til to this dai, schulen be takun awei in to Babiloyne; not ony thing schal be left, seith the Lord.

7. మరియు నీ గర్భమందు పుట్టిన నీ పుత్రసంతును బబులోను రాజు నగరునందు నపుంసకులగా చేయుటకై వారు తీసికొనిపోవుదురు.

7. And thei schulen take of thi sones, that schulen go out of thee, whiche thou schalt gendre; and thei schulen be onest seruauntis and chast in the paleis of the kyng of Babiloyne.

8. అందుకు హిజ్కియా - నీవు తెలియజేసిన యెహోవాఆజ్ఞ చొప్పున జరుగుట మేలే; నా దినములలో సమాధాన సత్యములు కలుగునుగాక అని యెషయాతో అనెను.

8. And Ezechie seide to Ysaie, The word of the Lord is good, which he spak. And Ezechie seide, Pees and treuthe be maad oneli in my daies.
