1. యెహోవా వాక్కు హనానీ కుమారుడైనయెహూకు ప్రత్యక్షమై బయెషానుగూర్చి యీలాగు సెల విచ్చెను

1. And the word of the Lord came to Jehu son of Hanani against Baasha, [saying],

2. నేను నిన్ను మంటిలోనుండి తీసి హెచ్చింపజేసి ఇశ్రాయేలువారను నా జనులమీద నిన్ను అధికారిగా చేసితిని, అయినను యరొబాము ప్రవర్తించిన ప్రకారముగా నీవు ప్రవర్తించుచు, ఇశ్రాయేలువారగు నా జనులు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడవై, వారి పాప ములచేత నాకు కోపము పుట్టించి యున్నావు.

2. Forasmuch as I lifted you up from the earth, and made you ruler over My people Israel; and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam, and have caused My people Israel to sin, to provoke Me with their vanities;

3. కాబట్టి బయెషా సంతతివారిని అతని కుటుంబికులను నేను సమూల ధ్వంసముచేసి, నెబాతు కుమారుడైన యరొబాము సంతతివారికి నేను చేసినట్లు నీ సంతతివారికిని చేయబోవు చున్నాను.

3. Behold, I raise up [enemies] after Baasha, and after his house; and I will make your house as the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat.

4. పట్టణమందు చనిపోవు బయెషా సంబంధికులను కుక్కలు తినును; బీడుభూములలో చనిపోవు వాని సంబంధికులను ఆకాశపక్షులు తినును అనెను.

4. Him the dies of Baasha in the city the dogs shall devour, and him that dies in the field the birds of the sky shall devour.

5. బయెషా చేసిన యితర కార్యములను గూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన వాటన్నిటిని గూర్చియు, అతని బలమును గూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయ బడియున్నది.

5. Now the rest of the history of Baasha, and all that he did, and his mighty acts, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

6. బయెషా తన పితరులతో కూడ నిద్రించి తిర్సాలో సమాధి చేయబడెను; అతనికి మారుగా అతని కుమారుడైన ఏలా రాజాయెను.

6. And Baasha slept with his fathers, and they buried him in Tirzah; and Elah his son reigned in his place.

7. మరియు బయెషా యరొబాము సంతతి వారివలెనే యుండి తన కార్యములచేత యెహోవా దృష్టికి కీడుచేసి ఆయనకు కోపము పుట్టిం చిన దాని నంతటిని బట్టియు, అతడు తన రాజును చంపుటను బట్టియు, అతనికిని అతని సంతతివారికిని విరోధముగ యెహోవా వాక్కు హనానీ కుమారుడును ప్రవక్తయునగు యెహూకు ప్రత్యక్షమాయెను.

7. And the Lord spoke by Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, and against his house, [even] all the evil which he wrought before the Lord to provoke Him to anger by the works of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.

8. యూదారాజైన ఆసా యేలుబడిలో ఇరువదియారవ సంవత్సరమున బయెషా కుమారుడైన ఏలా తిర్సాయందు ఇశ్రాయేలువారినందరిని ఏలనారంభించి రెండు సంవత్సర ములు ఏలెను.

8. And Elah son of Baasha reigned over Israel two years in Tirzah.

9. తిర్సాలో తనకు గృహనిర్వాహకుడగు అర్సాయింట అతడు త్రాగి మత్తుడై యుండగా, యుద్ధ రథముల అర్ధభాగముమీద అధికారియైన జిమీ అతని మీద కుట్రచేసి లోపలికి చొచ్చి

9. And Zimri, captain of half his cavalry, conspired against him, while he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza the steward at Tirzah.

10. అతని కొట్టి చంపి అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను. ఇది యూదారాజైన ఆసా యేలుబడిలో ఇరువది యేడవ సంవత్సరమున సంభ వించెను.

10. And Zimri went in and struck him and killed him, and reigned in his place.

11. అతడు సింహాసనాసీనుడై యేలనారంభించిన తోడనే బయెషా సంతతివారందరిలో ఏ పురుషునే గాని అతని బంధువులలోను మిత్రులలోను ఎవరినేగాని మిగుల నియ్యక అందరిని హతముచేసెను.

11. And it came to pass when he reigned, when he sat upon his throne,

12. బయెషాయును అతని కుమారుడగు ఏలాయును తామే పాపముచేసి, ఇశ్రా యేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకులై, తాము పెట్టుకొనిన దేవతలచేత ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు కోపము పుట్టించిరి గనుక

12. that he killed all the house of Baasha, according to the word which the Lord spoke against the house of Baasha, and to Jehu the prophet,

13. వారు చేసిన పాపములనుబట్టి ప్రవక్తయైన యెహూద్వారా బయెషానుగూర్చి యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాట నెరవేరుటకై జిమీ బయెషా సంతతివారినందరిని నాశనముచేసెను.

13. for all the sins of Baasha and Elah his son, as he led Israel astray to sin, to provoke the Lord God of Israel with their vanities.

14. ఏలా చేసిన యితర కార్యములను గూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన క్రియలన్నిటిని గూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడి యున్నది.

14. And the rest of the deeds of Elah which he did, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

15. యూదారాజైన ఆసా యేలుబడిలో ఇరువదియేడవ సంవత్సరమున జిమీ తిర్సాలో ఏడు దినములు ఏలెను. జనులు ఫిలిష్తీయుల సంబంధమైన గిబ్బెతోను మీదికి వచ్చి అక్కడ దిగియుండగా

15. And Zimri reigned in Tirzah [for] seven days. And the army of Israel [was] encamped against Gibbethon of the Philistines.

16. జిమీ కుట్రచేసి రాజును చంపించెనను వార్త అక్కడ దిగియున్న జనులకు వినబడెను గనుక ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును ఆ దినమున సైన్యాధిపతియైన ఒమీని దండుపేటలో ఇశ్రాయేలు వారిమీద రాజుగా పట్టాభిషేకము చేసిరి.

16. And the people heard in the army, saying, Zimri has conspired and killed the king. And the people of Israel made Omri the captain of the army king in that day in the camp over Israel.

17. వంటనే ఒమీ గిబ్బెతోనును విడిచి అతడును ఇశ్రాయేలు వారందరును తిర్సాకు వచ్చి దాని ముట్టడి వేసిరి.

17. And Omri went up, and all Israel with him, out of Gibbethon; and they besieged Tirzah.

18. పట్టణము పట్టుబడెనని జిమీ తెలిసికొని, తాను రాజనగరునందు జొచ్చి తనతో కూడ రాజనగరును తగలబెట్టుకొని చనిపోయెను.

18. And it came to pass when Zimri saw that his city was taken, that he went into the inner chamber of the house of the king, and burnt the king's house over him, and died,

19. యరొబాము చేసినట్లు ఇతడును యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము చేయువాడై యుండి తానే పాపము చేయుచు, ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడైనందున ఈలాగున జరిగెను.

19. because of his sins which he committed, doing that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, so as to walk in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sins wherein he caused Israel to sin.

20. జిమీచేసిన యితర కార్యములను గూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన రాజద్రోహమును గూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయ బడియున్నది.

20. And the rest of the history of Zimri, and his conspiracies wherein he conspired, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

21. అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలువారు రెండు జట్లుగా విడి పోయి, జనులలో సగముమంది గీనతు కుమారుడైన తిబ్నీని రాజుగా చేయవలెనని అతని పక్షమునను, సగముమంది ఒమీ పక్షమునను చేరిరి.

21. Then the people of Israel divided; half the people went after Tibni the son of Ginath to make him king; and half the people went after Omri.

22. ఒమీ పక్షపు వారు గీనతు కుమారుడైన తిబ్నీ పక్షపువారిని జయింపగా తిబ్నీ చంపబడెను; ఒమీ రాజాయెను.

22. The people that followed Omri overpowered the people that followed Tibni son of Ginath; and Tibni died and Joram his brother at that time, and Omri reigned after Tibni.

23. యూదారాజైన ఆసా యేలుబడిలో ముప్పదియొకటవ సంవత్సరమున ఒమీ ఇశ్రాయేలువారికి రాజై పండ్రెండు సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను; ఆ పండ్రెండింటిలో ఆరు సంవత్సరములు అతడు తిర్సాలో ఏలెను.

23. In the thirty-first year of King Asa, Omri began to reign over Israel [for] twelve years: he reigned six years in Tirzah.

24. అతడు షెమెరునొద్ద షోమ్రోను కొండను నాలుగు మణుగుల వెండికి కొనుక్కొని ఆ కొండమీద పట్టణ మొకటి కట్టించి, ఆ కొండ యజమానుడైన షెమెరు అనునతని పేరును బట్టి తాను కట్టించిన పట్టణమునకు షోమ్రోను అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

24. And Omri bought the mount of Samaria from Shemer the lord of the mountain for two talents of silver; and he built [upon] the mountain, and they called the name of the mountain [on] which he built, after the name of Shemer the lord of the mount, Samaria.

25. ఒమీ యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము జరిగించి, తన పూర్వికులందరికంటె మరి దుర్మార్గముగా ప్రవర్తించెను.

25. And Omri did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and wrought wickedly beyond all that were before him.

26. అతడు నెబాతు కుమారు డైన యరొబాము దేనిచేత ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడై దేవతలను పెట్టుకొని, ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు కోపము పుట్టించెనో, దానిని అనుసరించి ప్రవర్తించెను.

26. And he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sins wherewith he caused Israel to sin, to provoke the Lord God of Israel by their vanities.

27. ఒమీ చేసిన యితర కార్యములను గూర్చియు అతడు అగుపరచిన బలమును గూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడియున్నది.

27. And the rest of the acts of Omri, and all that he did, and all his might, behold, [are] not these things written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

28. ఒమీ తన పితరులతో కూడ నిద్రించి షోమ్రోనులో సమాధియందు పాతిపెట్టబడెను, అతని కుమారుడైన అహాబు అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

28. And Omri slept with his fathers, and is buried in Samaria; and Ahab his son reigned in his place. And in the eleventh year of Omri, Jehoshaphat the son of Asa reigned, [being] thirty-five years old in the beginning of his reign, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name [was] Gazuba, daughter of Seli. And he walked in the way of Asa his father, and turned not from it, [even] from doing right in the eyes of the Lord; only they removed not [any] of the high places; they sacrificed and burnt incense on the high places. Now the engagements which Jehoshaphat made with the king of Israel, and all his mighty deeds which he performed, and the enemies whom he fought against, behold, [are] not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? And the remains of the prostitution which they practiced in the days of Asa his father, he removed out of the land. And there was no king in Syria, [but] a deputy. Then the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, I will send forth your servants and my servants in the ship; but Jehoshaphat would not. And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and is buried with his fathers in the City of David: and Joram his son reigned in his place.

29. యూదారాజైన ఆసా యేలుబడిలో ముప్పదియెనిమిదవ సంవత్సరమున ఒమీ కుమారుడైన అహాబు ఇశ్రా యేలువారికి రాజై షోమ్రోనులో ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని ఇరు వదిరెండు సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను.

29. In the second year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, Ahab son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty-two years.

30. ఒమీ కుమారుడైన అహాబు తన పూర్వికులందరిని మించునంతగా యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము చేసెను.

30. And Ahab did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and did more wickedly than all that were before him.

31. నెబాతు కుమారుడైన యరొ బాము జరిగించిన పాపక్రియలను అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనుట స్వల్ప సంగతి యనుకొని, అతడు సీదోనీయులకు రాజైన ఎత్బయలు కుమార్తెయైన యెజెబెలును వివాహము చేసికొని బయలు దేవతను పూజించుచు వానికి మ్రొక్కుచునుండెను.

31. And it was not enough for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, but he took Jezabel the daughter of Ethebaal king of the Sidonians for a wife; and he went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

32. షోమ్రోనులో తాను బయలునకు కట్టించిన మందిరమందు బయలునకు ఒక బలిపీఠమును కట్టించెను.

32. And he set up an alter to Baal, in the house of his abominations, which he built in Samaria.

33. మరియు అహాబు దేవతాస్తంభమొకటి నిలిపెను. ఈ ప్రకారము అహాబు తన పూర్వికులైన ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు లందరికంటె ఎక్కువగా పాపముచేసి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు కోపము పుట్టించెను.

33. And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did yet more abominably, to provoke the Lord God of Israel, and [to sin against] his own life so that he should be destroyed: he did evil above all the kings of Israel that were before him.

34. అతని దిన ములలో బేతేలీయుడైన హీయేలు యెరికో పట్టణమును కట్టించెను. అతడు దాని పునాదివేయగా అబీరాము అను అతని జ్యేష్ఠపుత్రుడు చనిపోయెను; దాని గవునుల నెత్తగా సెగూబు అను అతని కనిష్ఠపుత్రుడు చనిపోయెను. ఇది నూను కుమారుడైన యెహోషువద్వారా యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాటచొప్పున సంభవించెను.

34. And in his days Hiel of Bethel built Jericho: he laid the foundation of it with Abiram his firstborn, and he set up the doors of it with Segub his younger son, according to the word of the Lord which he spoke by Joshua the son of Nun.
