1. దొంగత్రాసు యెహోవాకు హేయము సరియైన గుండు ఆయనకిష్టము.

1. The LORD abhors dishonest scales, but an accurate weight is his elight.

2. అహంకారము వెంబడి అవమానము వచ్చును వినయముగలవారియొద్ద జ్ఞానమున్నది.

2. When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.

3. యథార్థవంతుల యథార్థత వారికి త్రోవ చూపిం చును ద్రోహుల మూర్ఖస్వభావము వారిని పాడుచేయును.

3. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the unfaithful destroys them.

4. ఉగ్రతదినమందు ఆస్తి అక్కరకు రాదు నీతి మరణమునుండి రక్షించును.

4. Wealth does not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from mortal danger.

5. యథార్థవంతుల నీతి వారి మార్గమును సరాళము చేయును భక్తిహీనుడు తన భక్తిహీనతచేతనే పడిపోవును.

5. The righteousness of the blameless will make straight their way, but the wicked person will fall by his own wickedness.

6. యథార్థవంతుల నీతి వారిని విమోచించును విశ్వాసఘాతకులు తమ దురాశవలననే పట్టబడుదురు.

6. The righteousness of the upright will deliver them, but the faithless will be captured by their own desires.

7. భక్తిహీనుడు చనిపోగా వాని ఆశ నిర్మూలమగును బలాఢ్యులైనవారి ఆశ భంగమైపోవును.

7. When a wicked person dies, his expectation perishes, and the hope of his strength perishes.

8. నీతిమంతుడు బాధనుండి తప్పింపబడును భక్తిహీనుడు బాధపాలగును

8. The righteous person is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked turns up in his stead.

9. భక్తిహీనుడు తన నోటి మాటచేత తన పొరుగువారికి నాశనము తెప్పించును తెలివిచేత నీతిమంతులు తప్పించుకొందురు.

9. With his speech the godless person destroys his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous will be delivered.

10. నీతిమంతులు వర్థిల్లుట పట్టణమునకు సంతోషకరము భక్తిహీనులు నశించునప్పుడు ఉత్సాహధ్వని పుట్టును.

10. When the righteous do well, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there is joy.

11. యథార్థవంతుల దీవెనవలన పట్టణమునకు కీర్తి కలుగును భక్తిహీనుల మాటలు దానిని బోర్లద్రోయును.

11. A city is exalted by the blessing provided from the upright, but it is destroyed by the counsel of the wicked.

12. తన పొరుగువానిని తృణీకరించువాడు బుద్ధిలేనివాడు. వివేకియైనవాడు మౌనముగా నుండును.

12. The one who denounces his neighbor lacks wisdom, but the one who has discernment keeps silent.

13. కొండెగాడై తిరుగులాడువాడు పరుల గుట్టు బయట పెట్టును నమ్మకమైన స్వభావముగలవాడు సంగతి దాచును.

13. The one who goes about slandering others reveals secrets, but the one who is trustworthy conceals a matter.

14. నాయకులు లేని జనులు చెడిపోవుదురు ఆలోచనకర్తలు అనేకులుండుట రక్షణకరము.

14. When there is no guidance a nation falls, but there is success in the abundance of counselors.

15. ఎదుటివానికొరకు పూటబడినవాడు చెడిపోవును. పూటబడ నొప్పనివాడు నిర్భయముగా నుండును.

15. The one who puts up security for a stranger will surely have trouble, but whoever avoids shaking hands will be secure.

16. నెనరుగల స్త్రీ ఘనతనొందును. బలిష్ఠులు ఐశ్వర్యము చేపట్టుదురు.

16. A generous woman gains honor, and ruthless men seize wealth.

17. దయగలవాడు తనకే మేలు చేసికొనును క్రూరుడు తన శరీరమునకు బాధ తెచ్చుకొనును

17. A kind person benefits himself, but a cruel person brings himself trouble.

18. భక్తిహీనుని సంపాదన వానిని మోసము చేయును నీతిని విత్తువాడు శాశ్వతమైన బహుమానము నొందును.

18. The wicked person earns deceitful wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a genuine reward.

19. యథార్థమైన నీతి జీవదాయకము దుష్టక్రియలు విడువక చేయువాడు తన మరణమునకే చేయును

19. True righteousness leads to life, but the one who pursues evil pursues it to his own death.

20. మూర్ఖచిత్తులు యెహోవాకు హేయులు యథార్థముగా ప్రవర్తించువారు ఆయనకిష్టులు.

20. The LORD abhors those who are perverse in heart, but those who are blameless in their ways are his delight.

21. నిశ్చయముగా భక్తిహీనునికి శిక్ష తప్పదు. నీతిమంతుల సంతానము విడిపింపబడును.

21. Be assured that the evil person will certainly be punished, but the descendants of the righteous will not suffer unjust judgment.

22. వివేకములేని సుందరస్త్రీ పంది ముక్కుననున్న బంగారు కమ్మివంటిది.

22. Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman who rejects discretion.

23. నీతిమంతుల కోరిక ఉత్తమమైనది భక్తిహీనుల ఆశ అహంకారయుక్తమైనది.

23. What the righteous desire leads only to good, but what the wicked hope for leads to wrath.

24. వెదజల్లి అభివృద్ధిపొందువారు కలరు తగినదానికన్న తక్కువ ఇచ్చి లేమికి వచ్చువారు కలరు.

24. One person is generous and yet grows more wealthy, but another withholds more than he should and comes to poverty.

25. ఔదార్యముగలవారు పుష్టినొందుదురు. నీళ్లు పోయువారికి నీళ్లు పోయబడును

25. A generous person will be enriched, and the one who provides water for others will himself be satisfied.

26. ధాన్యము బిగబట్టువానిని జనులు శపించెదరు దానిని అమ్మువాని తలమీదికి దీవెన వచ్చును.

26. People will curse the one who withholds grain, but they will praise the one who sells it.

27. మేలు చేయగోరువాడు ఉపయుక్తమైన క్రియ చేయును కీడుచేయ గోరువానికి కీడే మూడును.

27. The one who diligently seeks good seeks favor, but the one who searches for evil it will come to him.

28. ధనమును నమ్ముకొనువాడు పాడైపోవును నీతిమంతులు చిగురాకువలె వృద్ధినొందుదురు

28. The one who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf.

29. తన ఇంటివారిని బాధపెట్టువాడు గాలిని స్వతంత్రించుకొనును మూఢుడు జ్ఞానహృదయులకు దాసుడగును.

29. The one who troubles his family will inherit nothing, and the fool will be a servant to the wise person.

30. నీతిమంతులు ఇచ్చు ఫలము జీవవృక్షము జ్ఞానముగలవారు ఇతరులను రక్షించుదురు

30. The fruit of the righteous is like a tree producing life, and the one who wins souls is wise.

31. నీతిమంతులు భూమిమీద ప్రతిఫలము పొందుదురు భక్తిహీనులును పాపులును మరి నిశ్చయముగా ప్రతి ఫలము పొందుదురు గదా?
