1. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఆ దేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొనిన తరువాత వారందరు షిలోహునకు కూడి వచ్చి అక్కడ ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము వేసిరి.

1. And the whole congregation of the children of Israel came together at Siloh, and set up the tabernacle of witness there, and the land was in subjection before them.

2. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో స్వాస్థ్యములు ఇంక పొందని యేడుగోత్రములు ఉండెను.

2. But there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes which had not their inheritance divided out.

3. కావున యెహోషువ ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఇట్లనెనుమీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకిచ్చిన దేశమును స్వాధీన పరచుకొన వెళ్లకుండ మీరెన్నాళ్లు తడవుచేసెదరు?

3. And Josua said unto the children of Israel, how long are ye so slack to go and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?

4. ప్రతి గోత్రమునుండి ముగ్గురేసి మనుష్యులను నాయొద్దకు రప్పించిన యెడల నేను వారిని పంపెదను; వారు లేచి దేశ సంచారము చేయుచు ఆయా స్వాస్థ్యములచొప్పున దాని వివరమును వ్రాసి నా యొద్దకు తీసికొనివచ్చెదరు.

4. Bring of every tribe three men that I may send them. And that they may rise and walk thorow the land and distribute it by their inheritances and come again to me.

5. వారు ఏడువంతులుగా దాని పంచుకొందురు. యూదా వంశస్థులు దక్షిణదిక్కున తమ సరిహద్దులోపల నిలిచి యుండవలెను. యోసేపు పుత్రులు ఉత్తర దిక్కున తమ సరిహద్దు లోపల నిలిచి యుండవలెను.

5. Divide it into seven parts. For Juda shall abide by their coasts in the south, and the house of Joseph shall stand to their coasts in the north.

6. మీరు ఏడు వంతులుగా దేశవివరమును వ్రాసి నా యొద్దకు తీసికొని రావలెను. నేను ఇక్కడ మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని మీ నిమిత్తము వంతుచీట్లు వేసెదను.

6. Describe ye the land therefore into seven parts, and bring the description to me hither, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.

7. లేవీయు లకు మీ మధ్య ఏ వంతును కలుగదు, యెహోవాకు యాజక ధర్మము చేయుటే వారికి స్వాస్థ్యము. గాదీయు లును రూబేనీయులును మనష్షే అర్ధగోత్రపువారును యొర్దాను అవతల తూర్పుదిక్కున యెహోవా సేవకుడైన మోషే వారికిచ్చిన స్వాస్థ్యములను పొందియున్నారు.

7. The Levites have no part among you for the priestship of the LORD is their inheritance. And Gad, Ruben, and half the tribe of Manasses have received their inheritance beyond Jordan Eastward, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them.

8. ఆ మనుష్యులు లేచి ప్రయాణము కాగా యెహోషువ దేశ వివరమును వ్రాయుటకు వెళ్లబోవు వారితోమీరు ఆ దేశములో బడి నడుచుచు దాని వివరమును వ్రాసి నాయొద్దకు తిరిగి రండి; అప్పుడు నేను షిలోహులో మీకొరకు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని వంతుచీట్లు వేయించెద ననగా

8. And the men arose and went their way. And Josua charged them that went to describe the land saying: hence and go thorow the land and describe it, and come again to me hither: and I will cast lots for you before the LORD in Siloh.

9. ఆ మనుష్యులు వెళ్లి దేశసంచారము చేయుచు ఏడువంతులుగా, గ్రామములచొప్పున, దాని వివరమును పుస్తకములో వ్రాసి షిలోహులోని పాళెములోనున్న యెహోషువ యొద్దకు వచ్చిరి.

9. And the men departed, and walked thorow the land and described it by cities into seven parts in a book, and returned to Josua unto the host at Siloh.

10. వారికొరకు యెహోషువ షిలోహులో యెహోవా సన్నిధిని వంతుచీట్లు వేసి వారి వారి వంతులచొప్పున ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు దేశమును పంచి పెట్టెను.

10. And Josua cast lots for them in Siloh before the LORD, and there he divided the land unto the children of Israel, to each their portion.

11. బెన్యామీనీయుల గోత్రమునకు వారి వంశముల చొప్పున, వంతుచీటి వచ్చెను; వారి చీటివలన కలిగిన సరిహద్దు యూదా వంశస్థుల సరిహద్దుకును యోసేపు పుత్రుల సరిహద్దుకును మధ్యనుండెను.

11. And the lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their kindreds. And the coasts of their lot came out between the children of Juda and the children of Joseph.

12. ఉత్తరదిక్కున వారి సరిహద్దు యొర్దాను మొదలుకొని యెరికోకు ఉత్తరదిక్కున పోయి పడమరగా కొండల దేశమువరకు వ్యాపించెను, దాని సరిహద్దు బేతావెను అర ణ్యమువరకు సాగెను.

12. And their north coasts were from Jordan and went up to the side of Jericho on the north side, and went up thorow the mountains westward, and they ended at the wilderness of Bethaven:

13. అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు లూజు వైపున, అనగా బేతేలను లూజు దక్షిణమువరకు సాగి క్రింది బెత్‌హోరోనుకు దక్షిణముననున్న కొండమీది అతారోతు అద్దారువరకు వ్యాపించెను.

13. and went from thence to the south side of Lus, otherwise called Bethel: and descended to Ataroth Adar upon the hill that lieth on the south side of the nether Bethhoron.

14. అక్కడనుండి దాని సరిహద్దు దక్షిణమున బెత్‌హోరోనుకును ఎదురుగా నున్న కొండనుండి పడమరగా దక్షిణమునకు తిరిగి అక్కడ నుండి యూదా వంశస్థుల పట్టణమైన కిర్యాత్బాలు అనగా కిర్యత్యారీమువరకు వ్యాపించెను, అది పడమటిదిక్కు.

14. And the west coast draweth and compasseth southward, even from the hill that lieth before Bethhoron, and goeth out at Kariathbaal which is Kariath Jarim, a city of the children of Juda: and this is the west quarter:

15. దక్షిణదిక్కున కిర్యత్యారీముకొననుండి దాని సరిహద్దు పడమటిదిక్కున నెఫ్తోయ నీళ్ల యూటవరకు సాగి

15. and the south coast goeth from the edge of Kariathjarim westward, and goeth out to the water well, of Nephthoah

16. ఉత్తరదిక్కున రెఫాయీయుల లోయలోనున్న బెన్‌ హిన్నోము లోయయెదుటనున్న కొండప్రక్కననుండి దక్షిణదిక్కున బెన్‌హిన్నోము లోయమార్గమున యెబూ సీయుల ప్రదేశమువరకు సాగి ఏన్‌రోగేలువరకు వ్యాపించెను.

16. and cometh down to the edge of the hill that lieth before the valley of the son of Hennom which is in the valley of Raphaim northward, and descendeth thorow the valley of Hennom unto the side of Jebusi southward and goeth down to the well of Rogell.

17. అది ఉత్తర దిక్కునుండి ఏన్‌షెమెషువరకు వ్యాపించి అదుమీ్మమునకు ఎక్కుచోటికి ఎదురుగానున్న గెలీలోతువరకు సాగి రూబేనీయుడైన బోహను రాతి యొద్దకు దిగెను.

17. And compasseth from the north and goeth forth to Ensames and to the coasts that lie before the going up unto Adomim: and goeth down to the stone of Bohan the son of Ruben:

18. అది ఉత్తరదిక్కున మైదానమునకు ఎదురుగా వ్యాపించి అరాబావరకు దిగి అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు ఉత్తర దిక్కున బేత్‌హోగ్లావరకు సాగెను.

18. and then goeth along toward the side of the plain, northward: and goeth down into the plain:

19. అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు యొర్దాను దక్షిణదిక్కునఉప్పు సముద్రముయొక్క ఉత్తరాఖాతమువరకు వ్యాపించెను. అది దక్షిణదిక్కున దానికి సరిహద్దు.

19. and goeth along to the side of Bethhaglah northward, and endeth and the point of the salt sea north therefrom, and at the end of Jordan south therefrom. This is the south coast.

20. తూర్పుదిక్కున యొర్దాను దానికి సరిహద్దు. దాని చుట్టునున్న సరిహద్దుల ప్రకారము బెన్యామీనీయులకు వారి వంశ ములచొప్పున కలిగిన స్వాస్థ్యము ఇది.

20. And Jordan is their east coast, this is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin with their coasts round about and by their kindreds.

21. బెన్యామీనీయుల గోత్రమునకు వారి వంశముల చొప్పున కలిగిన పట్టణములు ఏవేవనగా యెరికో బేత్‌హోగ్లా యెమెక్కెసీసు

21. And these are the cities of the tribes of the children of Benjamin in their kindreds: Jericho, Bethhaglah, and the valley of Kaziz:

22. బేతరాబా సెమ రాయిము బేతేలు ఆవీము పారా ఒఫ్రా

22. Betharabah, Zamarim, and Bethel:

23. కెపరమ్మోని ఒప్ని గెబా అనునవి,

23. Auim, Pharah, and Ophrah,

24. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా పండ్రెండు పట్టణములు.

24. Chepar Ammonai, Ophni, and Gabai, twelve cities with their villages.

25. గిబియోను రామా బెయేరోతు మిస్పే

25. Gabaon, Ramah, and Beroth:

26. కెఫీరా మోసా రేకెము ఇర్పెయేలు తరలా

26. Mazphah, Caphairah and Mozah:

27. సేలా ఎలెపు యెరూషలేము అనబడిన ఎబూసీ గిబియా కిర్యతు అను నవి; వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా పదునాలుగు పట్టణములు.

27. Rekem, Jarephel and Tharelah,

28. వారి వంశముల చొప్పున ఇది బెన్యామీనీయులకు కలిగిన స్వాస్థ్యము.

28. Zela, Eleph, and the city of the Jebusites which is Jerusalem, Gabaath, and Kariath, fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin in their kindreds.
