1. 'ADONAI your God is going to bring you into the land you will enter in order to take possession of it, and he will expel many nations ahead of you- the Hitti, Girgashi, Emori, Kena'ani, P'rizi, Hivi and Y'vusi, seven nations bigger and stronger than you.

2. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారిని నీకప్ప గించునప్పుడు నీవు వారిని హతము చేయవలెను, వారిని నిర్మూలము చేయవలెను. వారితో నిబంధన చేసికొనకూడదు, వారిని కరుణింప కూడదు,

2. When he does this, when ADONAI your God hands them over ahead of you, and you defeat them, you are to destroy them completely! Do not make any covenant with them. Show them no mercy.

3. నీవు వారితో వియ్యమందకూడదు, వాని కుమారునికి నీ కుమార్తె నియ్యకూడదు, నీ కుమారునికి వాని కుమార్తెను పుచ్చుకొనకూడదు.

3. Don't intermarry with them- don't give your daughter to his son, and don't take his daughter for your son.

4. నన్ను అనుసరింప కుండ ఇతర దేవతలను పూజించునట్లు నీ కుమారుని వారు మళ్లించుదురు, అందునుబట్టి యెహోవా కోపాగ్ని నీమీద రగులుకొని ఆయన నిన్ను త్వరగా నశింపజేయును.

4. For he will turn your children away from following me in order to serve other gods. If this happens, the anger of ADONAI will flare up against you, and he will quickly destroy you.

5. కావున మీరు వారికి చేయవలసినదేమనగా, వారి బలిపీఠ ములను పడద్రోసి వారి విగ్రహములను పగులగొట్టి వారి దేవతాస్తంభములను నరికివేసి వారి ప్రతిమలను అగ్నితో కాల్చవలెను.

5. No, treat them this way: break down their altars, smash their standing-stones to pieces, cut down their sacred poles and burn up their carved images completely.

6. నీవు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠిత జనము, నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా భూమిమీదనున్న సమస్త జనములకంటె నిన్ను ఎక్కువగా ఎంచి, నిన్ను తనకు స్వకీయజనముగా ఏర్పరచుకొనెను.

6. For you are a people set apart as holy for ADONAI your God. ADONAI your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his own unique treasure.

7. మీరు సర్వజనముల కంటె విస్తారజనమని యెహోవా మిమ్మును ప్రేమించి మిమ్మును ఏర్పరచు కొనలేదు. సమస్త జనములకంటె మీరు లెక్కకు తక్కు వేగదా.

7. ADONAI didn't set his heart on you or choose you because you numbered more than any other people- on the contrary, you were the fewest of all peoples.

8. అయితే యెహోవా మిమ్మును ప్రేమించు వాడు గనుకను, తాను మీ తండ్రులకు చేసిన ప్రమాణమును నెరవేర్చువాడు గనుకను, యెహోవా బాహుబలముచేత మిమ్మును రప్పించి దాసుల గృహములో నుండియు ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరో చేతిలోనుండియు మిమ్మును విడిపించెను.

8. Rather, it was because ADONAI loved you, and because he wanted to keep the oath which he had sworn to your ancestors, that ADONAI brought you out with a strong hand and redeemed you from a life of slavery under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

9. కాబట్టి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తానే దేవుడనియు, తన్ను ప్రేమించి తన ఆజ్ఞల ననుసరించి నడుచుకొనువారికి తన నిబంధనను స్థిరపరచువాడును వేయితరములవరకు కృపచూపువాడును నమ్మతగిన దేవుడు ననియు, తన్ను ద్వేషించువారిలో ప్రతివానిని బహిరంగ ముగా నశింపచేయుటకు వానికి దండన విధించువాడనియు నీవు తెలిసికొనవలెను.

9. From this you can know that ADONAI your God is indeed God, the faithful God, who keeps his covenant and extends grace to those who love him and observe his [mitzvot], to a thousand generations.

10. ఆయన తన్ను ద్వేషించువాని విషయము ఆలస్యము చేయక బహిరంగముగా వానికి దండన విధించును

10. But he repays those who hate him to their face and destroys them. He will not be slow to deal with someone who hates him; he will repay him to his face.

11. కాబట్టి నేడు నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ధర్మము, అనగా విధులను కట్టడలను మీరనుసరించి నడుచు కొనవలెను.

11. Therefore, you are to keep the [mitzvot], laws and rulings which I am giving you today, and obey them.

12. మీరు ఈ విధులను విని వాటిని అనుసరించి నడుచు కొనినయెడల నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తాను నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన నిబంధనను నెరవేర్చి నీకు కృపచూపును

12. 'Because you are listening to these rulings, keeping and obeying them, ADONAI your God will keep with you the covenant and mercy that he swore to your ancestors.

13. ఆయన నిన్ను ప్రేమించి ఆశీర్వదించి అభి వృద్ధిచేసి, నీకిచ్చెదనని నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన దేశములో నీ గర్భఫలమును, నీ భూఫలమైన నీ సస్యమును, నీ ద్రాక్షారసమును, నీ నూనెను, నీ పశువుల మందలను, నీ గొఱ్ఱెల మందలను, మేకల మందలను దీవించును.

13. He will love you, bless you and increase your numbers; he will also bless the fruit of your body and the fruit of your ground- your grain, wine, olive oil and the young of your cattle and sheep- in the land he swore to your ancestors that he would give you.

14. సమస్త జనములకంటె ఎక్కువగా నీవు ఆశీర్వదింప బడుదువు. నీలో మగవానికేగాని ఆడు దానికేగాని గొడ్డుతనముండదు, నీ పశువులలోనైననుండదు.

14. You will be blessed more than all other peoples; there will not be a sterile male or female among you, and the same with your livestock.

15. యెహోవా నీయొద్దనుండి సర్వరోగములను తొలగించి, నీవెరిగియున్న ఐగుప్తు లోని కఠినమైన క్షయ వ్యాధులన్నిటిని నీకు దూరపరచి, నిన్ను ద్వేషించు వారందరిమీదికే వాటిని పంపించును.

15. ADONAI will remove all illness from you- he will not afflict you with any of Egypt's dreadful diseases, which you have known; instead, he will lay them on those who hate you.

16. మరియు నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా నీ కప్పగించుచున్న సమస్త ప్రజలను నీవు బొత్తిగా నాశనముచేయుదువు. నీవు వారిని కటా క్షింపకూడదు, వారి దేవతలను పూజింపకూడదు, ఏలయనగా అది నీకు ఉరియగును.

16. You are to devour all the peoples that ADONAI your God hands over to you- show them no pity, and do not serve their gods, because that will become a trap for you.

17. If you think to yourselves, 'These nations outnumber us; how can we dispossess them?'

18. నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా ఫరోకును ఐగుప్తుదేశమంతటికిని చేసిన దానిని, అనగా నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను రప్పించి నప్పుడు

18. nevertheless, you are not to be afraid of them; you are to remember well what ADONAI your God did to Pharaoh and all of Egypt-

19. నీ కన్నులు చూచిన ఆ గొప్ప శోధనలను సూచక క్రియలను మహత్కార్యములను బాహుబలమును, చాచిన చేతిని బాగుగ జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుము. నీకు భయము పుట్టించుచున్న ఆ జనులకందరికి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఆలాగే చేయును.

19. the great ordeals which you yourself saw, and the signs, wonders, strong hand and outstretched arm by which ADONAI your God brought you out. ADONAI will do the same to all the peoples of whom you are afraid.

20. మరియు మిగిలినవారును నీ కంటబడక దాగిన వారును నశించువరకు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారి మీదికి పెద్ద కందిరీగలను పంపును.

20. Moreover, ADONAI your God will send the hornet among them until those who are left and those who hide themselves perish ahead of you.

21. వారిని చూచి జడియవద్దు; నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ మధ్యనున్నాడు, ఆయన భయంకరుడైన మహా దేవుడు.

21. You are not to be frightened of them, because ADONAI your God is there with you, a God great and fearsome.

22. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ యెదుటనుండి క్రమక్రమ ముగా ఈ జనములను తొలగించును. అడవి మృగములు విస్తరించి నీకు బాధకములుగా నుండవచ్చును గనుక వారిని ఒక్కమారే నీవు నాశనము చేయతగదు, అది నీకు క్షేమకరముకాదు.

22. ADONAI your God will expel those nations ahead of you little by little; you can't put an end to them all at once, or the wild animals will become too numerous for you.

23. అయితే నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారిని నీకప్పగించి వారిని నశింపజేయువరకు వారిని బహుగా తల్లడిల్ల చేయును.

23. Nevertheless, ADONAI your God will give them over to you, sending one disaster after another upon them until they have been destroyed.

24. ఆయన వారి రాజులను నీ చేతికప్ప గించును. నీవు ఆకాశముక్రిందనుండి వారి నామమును నశింపజేయవలెను; నీవు వారిని నశింపజేయువరకు ఏ మను ష్యుడును నీ యెదుట నిలువలేకపోవును.

24. He will hand their kings over to you, and you will wipe out their name from under heaven; none of them will be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them.

25. వారి దేవతల ప్రతిమలను మీరు అగ్నిచేత కాల్చివేయవలెను; వాటి మీదనున్న వెండిబంగారములను అపేక్షిం పకూడదు. నీవు దానివలన చిక్కుబడుదువేమో గనుక దానిని తీసికొన కూడదు. ఏలయనగా అది నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు హేయము.

25. You are to burn up completely the carved statues of their gods. Don't be greedy for the silver or gold on them; don't take it with you, or you will be trapped by it; for it is abhorrent to ADONAI your God.

26. దానివలె నీవు శాపగ్రస్తుడవు కాకుండునట్లు నీవు హేయమైన దాని నీయింటికి తేకూడదు. అది శాపగ్రస్తమే గనుక దాని పూర్తిగా రోసి దానియందు బొత్తిగా అసహ్యపడవలెను.

26. Don't bring something abhorrent into your house, or you will share in the curse that is on it; instead, you are to detest it completely, loathe it utterly; for it is set apart for destruction.
