1. నీవును నీ కుమారుడును నీ కుమారుని కుమారుడును

1. These now are the commandements, ordinances, and lawes, which the Lord your God commanded me to teach you, that ye might doe them in the land whither ye go to possesse it:

2. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు భయపడి, నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ఆయన కట్టడలన్నియు ఆజ్ఞలన్నియు నీ జీవిత దినములన్ని టను గైకొనుచు నీవు దీర్ఘాయుష్మంతుడవగునట్లు మీరు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనుటకు ఏరు దాటి వెళ్లుచున్న దేశమందు మీరు జరుపుకొనుటకు మీకు బోధింపవలెనని మీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞాపించిన ధర్మమంతయు అనగా కట్ట డలు విధులు ఇవే.

2. That thou mightest feare the Lord thy God, and keepe all his ordinances, and his commandements which I commaund thee, thou, and thy sonne, and thy sonnes sonne all the dayes of thy life, euen that thy dayes may be prolonged.

3. కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలూ, నీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీతో చెప్పిన ప్రకారము పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు దేశములో మేలు కలిగి బహుగా అభివృద్ధి నొందునట్లు నీవు వాటిని విని అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనవలెను.

3. Heare therefore, O Israel, and take heede to doe it, that it may go well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily in the land that floweth with milke and hony, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee.

4. ఇశ్రాయేలూ వినుము. మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా అద్వితీయుడగు యెహోవా.

4. Heare, O Israel, The Lord our God is Lord onely,

5. నీ పూర్ణహృదయముతోను నీ పూర్ణాత్మతోను నీ పూర్ణశక్తితోను నీ దేవుడైన యెహో వాను ప్రేమింపవలెను.

5. And thou shalt loue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soule, and with all thy might.

6. నేడు నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ఈ మాటలు నీ హృదయములో ఉండవలెను.

6. And these wordes which I commaund thee this day, shalbe in thine heart.

7. నీవు నీ కుమా రులకు వాటిని అభ్యసింపజేసి, నీ యింట కూర్చుండునప్పు డును త్రోవను నడుచునప్పుడును పండుకొనునప్పుడును లేచునప్పుడును వాటినిగూర్చి మాటలాడవలెను; సూచ నగా వాటిని నీ చేతికి కట్టు కొనవలెను.

7. And thou shalt rehearse them continually vnto thy children, and shalt talke of them when thou tariest in thine house, and as thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp:

8. అవి నీ కన్నుల నడుమ బాసికమువలె ఉండవలెను.

8. And thou shalt binde them for a signe vpon thine hand, and they shalbe as frontlets betweene thine eyes.

9. నీ యింటి ద్వార బంధములమీదను నీ గవునులమీదను వాటిని వ్రాయవలెను.

9. Also thou shalt write them vpon ye postes of thine house, and vpon thy gates.

10. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ పితరులైన అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబులతో చేసిన ప్రమాణమునుబట్టి నిన్ను ఆ దేశములో ప్రవేశపెట్టి, నీవు కట్టని గొప్పవగు మంచి పురములను

10. And when the Lord thy God hath brought thee into the land, which he sware vnto thy fathers, Abraham, Izhak, and Iaakob, to giue to thee, with great and goodly cities which thou buildedst not,

11. నీవు నింపని మంచి ద్రవ్యముల చేత నింప బడిన ఇండ్లను, నీవు త్రవ్వకపోయినను త్రవ్వబడిన బావు లను, నీవు నాటని ద్రాక్షతోటలను ఒలీవల తోటలను నీ కిచ్చిన తరువాత నీవు తిని తృప్తి పొందినప్పుడు

11. And houses full of all maner of goods which thou filledst not, and welles digged which thou diggedst not, vineyards and oliue trees which thou plantedst not, and when thou hast eaten and art full,

12. దాసుల గృహమైన ఐగుప్తుదేశములో నుండి నిన్ను రప్పించిన యెహోవాను మరువకుండ నీవు జాగ్రత్తపడుము.

12. Beware least thou forget the Lord, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

13. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు భయపడి ఆయనను సేవించి ఆయన పేరట ప్రమాణము చేయవలెను.

13. Thou shalt feare the Lord thy God, and serue him, and shalt sweare by his Name.

14. మీరు ఇతర దేవతలను, అనగా మీ చుట్టునున్న జనముల దేవతలను సేవింపకూడదు.

14. Ye shall not walke after other gods, after any of the gods of the people which are round about you,

15. నీ మధ్యను నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా రోషముగల దేవుడు గనుక నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా కోపాగ్ని ఒకవేళ నీ మీద రగులుకొని దేశములో నుండ కుండ నిన్ను నశింపజేయును.

15. (For the Lord thy God is a ielous God among you:) least the wrath of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from the face of the earth.

16. మీరు మస్సాలో మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను శోధించి నట్లు ఆయనను శోధింపకూడదు.

16. Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye did tempt him in Massah:

17. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞలను, అనగా ఆయన నీకు నియమించిన శాసనములను కట్టడలను జాగ్రత్తగా ఆచరింపవలెను.

17. But ye shall keepe diligently the commandements of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his ordinances which he hath commanded thee,

18. నీకు మేలు కలుగునట్లును, నీ యెదుటనుండి నీ సమస్త శత్రువులను వెళ్లగొట్టెదనని

18. And thou shalt doe that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that thou mayest prosper, and that thou mayest go in, and possesse that good land which the Lord sware vnto thy fathers,

19. యెహోవా చెప్పిన ప్రకా రము నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన ఆ మంచి దేశములో నీవు ప్రవేశించి దాని స్వాధీన పరచుకొనునట్లును, నీవు యెహోవా దృష్టికి యథార్థమైనదియు ఉత్తమమైనదియు చేయవలెను.

19. To cast out all thine enemies before thee, as the Lord hath sayd.

20. ఇకమీదట నీ కుమారుడుమన దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకాజ్ఞాపించిన శాసనములు కట్టడలు విధులు ఏవని నిన్ను అడుగునప్పుడు

20. When thy sonne shall aske thee in time to come, saying, What meane these testimonies, and ordinances, and Lawes, which the Lord our God hath commanded you?

21. నీవు నీ కుమారునితో ఇట్ల నుముమనము ఐగుప్తులో ఫరోకుదాసులమైయుండగా యెహోవా బాహుబలముచేత ఐగుప్తులోనుండి మనలను రప్పించెను.

21. Then shalt thou say vnto thy sonne, We were Pharaohs bondmen in Egypt: but the Lord brought vs out of Egypt with a mightie hand.

22. మరియు యెహోవా ఐగుప్తుమీదను ఫరో మీదను అతని యింటివారందరి మీదను బాధకరములైన గొప్ప సూచకక్రియలను అద్భుతములను మన కన్నుల యెదుట కనుపరచి,

22. And the Lord shewed signes and wonders great and euill vpon Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his housholde, before our eyes,

23. తాను మన పితరులతో ప్రమాణము చేసిన దేశమును మనకిచ్చి మనలను దానిలో ప్రవేశ పెట్టుటకు అక్కడ నుండి మనలను రప్పించెను.

23. And brought vs out from thence, to bring vs in, and to giue vs the land which he sware vnto our fathers.

24. మనకు నిత్యము మేలు కలుగుటకై యెహోవా నేటివలె మనలను బ్రదికించు నట్లు మన దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు భయపడి యీ కట్టడల నన్నిటిని గైకొనవలెనని మన కాజ్ఞాపించెను.

24. Therefore the Lord hath commanded vs, to doe all these ordinances, and to feare the Lord our God, that it may goe euer well with vs, and that he may preserue vs aliue as at this present.

25. మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా మన కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు ఆయన సన్నిధిని ఈ సమస్తమైన ఆజ్ఞలను అనుసరించి మనము నడుచు కొనునప్పుడు మనకు నీతి కలుగును.

25. Moreouer, this shall be our righteousnes before the Lord our God, if we take heede to keepe all these commandements, as he hath commanded vs.
