1. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకిచ్చుచున్న దేశములో ఒకడు చంపబడి పొలములో పడియుండుట కనబడు నప్పుడు, వాని చంపినవాడెవడో అది తెలియక యుండిన యెడల

1. When there shall be found one slain on the soil which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee to possess, lying prostrate in the field, it not being known who smote him,

2. నీ పెద్దలును నీ న్యాయాధిపతులును వచ్చి చంపబడినవాని చుట్టునున్న పురముల దూరము కొలిపింప వలెను.

2. then shall thine elders and thy judges go forth, and measure unto the cities that are round about the slain;

3. ఏ ఊరు ఆ శవమునకు సమీపముగా ఉండునో ఆ ఊరి పెద్దలు ఏ పనికిని పెట్టబడక కాడి యీడ్వని పెయ్యను తీసికొని

3. and it shall be that the city that is nearest unto the slain, the elders of that city shall take a heifer of the herd which hath not been wrought with, which hath not drawn in a yoke;

4. దున్నబడకయు విత్తబడకయునున్న యేటి లోయలోనికి ఆ పెయ్యను తోలుకొనిపోయి అక్కడ, అనగా ఆ లోయలో ఆ పెయ్యమెడను విరుగ తియ్యవలెను.

4. and the elders of that city shall take down the heifer into a ravine with an everflowing stream, which is neither tilled nor sown, and shall behead there the heifer in the ravine.

5. అప్పుడు యాజకులైన లేవీయులు దగ్గరకు రావలెను. యెహోవాను సేవించి యెహోవా నామ మున దీవించుటకు ఆయన వారిని ఏర్పరచుకొనెను గనుక వారి నోటిమాటచేత ప్రతి వివాదమును దెబ్బవిషయమైన ప్రతి వ్యాజ్యెమును విమర్శింపబడవలెను.

5. Then shall the priests the sons of Levi come near, for of them, hath Yahweh thy God made choice to wait upon him, and to bless in the name of Yahweh, and at their bidding, shall be settled every controversy and every punishment;

6. అప్పుడు ఆ శవమునకు సమీపమందున్న ఆ ఊరి పెద్దలందరు ఆ యేటి లోయలో మెడ విరుగతీయబడిన ఆ పెయ్యపైని తమ చేతులు కడుగుకొని

6. and, all the elders of that city who are nearest unto the slain, shall bathe their hands over the heifer that hath boon beheaded in the ravine,

7. మా చేతులు ఈ రక్తమును చిందింపలేదు, మా కన్నులు ఇది చూడ లేదు.

7. and shall respond, and say, Our hands, shed not this blood, neither did, our eyes, see the deed .

8. యెహోవా, నీవు విమోచించిన నీ జనమైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల నిమి త్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము కలుగనిమ్ము; నీ జనమైన ఇశ్రా యేలీయులమీద నిర్దోషి యొక్క ప్రాణము తీసిన దోష మును మోపవద్దని చెప్పవలెను. అప్పుడు ప్రాణము తీసిన దోషమునకు వారినిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము కలుగును.

8. Be propitious unto thy people Israel whom thou hast redeemed, O Yahweh, and do not impute innocent blood in the midst of thy people Israel. So shall they obtain propitiation for the guilt of shedding blood.

9. అట్లు నీవు యెహోవా దృష్టికి యథార్థమైనది చేయునప్పుడు నీ మధ్యనుండి నిర్దోషియొక్క ప్రాణము విషయమైన దోషమును పరిహరించెదవు.

9. Thou, therefore shalt consume the guilt of shedding innocent blood out of thy midst, when thou shalt do that which is right in the eyes of Yahweh.

10. నీవు నీ శత్రువులతో యుద్ధముచేయ బోవునప్పుడు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ చేతికి వారిని అప్పగించిన తరు వాత

10. When thou shalt go forth to war against thine enemies, and Yahweh thy God shall deliver them into thy hand and thou shalt take them captive;

11. వారిని చెరపట్టి ఆ చెరపట్టబడినవారిలో రూపవతి యైనదానిని చూచి ఆమెను మోహించి ఆమెను పెండ్లి చేసికొన మనస్సయి

11. and shalt see among the captives a woman of beautiful figure, and shalt have a desire unto her, and wouldest take her to thee to wife,

12. నీ యింట ఆమెను చేర్చుకొనిన తరువాత ఆమె తల క్షౌరము చేయించుకొని

12. then shalt thou bring her into the midst of thy house, and she shall shave her head and pare her nails;

13. గోళ్లను తీయించుకొని తన చెరబట్టలు తీసివేసి నీ యింట నివసించి యొక నెలదినములు తన తండ్రులనుగూర్చి ప్రలాపన చేయుటకు నీవు ఆమెకు సెలవియ్యవలెను. తరువాత నీవు ఆమెయొద్దకు పోయి ఆమెను పెండ్లిచేసికొనవచ్చును; ఆమె నీకు భార్యయగును.

13. and put away the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thy house, and bewail her father and her mother for the space of a month, and after that, mayest thou go in unto her, and he her husband, and she shall be thy wife.

14. నీవు ఆమెవలన సంతుష్టి నొందనియెడల ఆమె మనస్సువచ్చిన చోటికి ఆమెను సాగనంపవలెనే గాని ఆమెను ఎంతమాత్రమును వెండికి అమ్మకూడదు; నీవు ఆమెను అవమానపరచితివి గనుక ఆమెను దాసివలె చూడకూడదు.

14. And it shall be, if thou hast no pleasure in her, then shalt thou let her go whither she will but thou shalt not sell, her for silver, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her.

15. ప్రేమింపబడునదొకతెయు ద్వేషింపబడునదొక తెయు ఇద్దరు భార్యలు ఒక పురుషునికి కలిగియుండి, ప్రేమింపబడినదియు ద్వేషింపబడినదియు వానివలన బిడ్డలు కని

15. When a man shall have two wives the one beloved and, the other hated, and they have borne him sons, both she that is beloved, and she that is hated, and it shall be that the firstborn son belongeth to her that is hated,

16. జ్యేష్ఠకుమారుడు ద్వేషింపబడినదాని కొడుకైన యెడల, తండ్రి తనకు కలిగినదానిని తన కుమారులకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చునాడు ద్వేషింపబడినదాని కుమారుడైన జ్యేష్ఠునికి మారుగా ప్రేమింపబడినదాని కుమారుని జ్యేష్ఠునిగా చేయకూడదు.

16. then shall it be, that in the day when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, he may not treat the son of the beloved, instead of the son of the hated, as the firstborn;

17. ద్వేషింపబడినదాని కుమారు నికి తండ్రి తన ఆస్తి అంతటిలో రెట్టింపు భాగమిచ్చి వానినే జ్యేష్ఠునిగా ఎంచవలెను. వీడు వాని బలప్రారం భము గనుక జ్యేష్ఠత్వాధికారము వీనిదే.

17. but the true firstborn the son of her that is hated, shall he treat as firstborn by giving him double out of all that is found to be his, for, he, is the beginning of hi strength, his, is the right of the firstborn.

18. ఒకని కుమారుడు మొండివాడై తిరుగబడి తండ్రిమాట గాని తల్లిమాటగాని వినకయుండి, వారు అతని శిక్షిం చిన తరువాతయును అతడు వారికి విధేయుడు కాక పోయిన యెడల

18. When a man hath a son, rebellious and insulting, who will not hearken to the voice of his father, and to the voice of his mother, though they chastise him, yet will not hearken unto them,

19. అతని తలిదండ్రులు అతని పట్టుకొని ఊరి గవినియొద్ద కూర్చుండు పెద్దలయొద్దకు అతని తీసికొని వచ్చి

19. then shall his father and his mother, lay hold of him, and bring him forth unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;

20. మా కుమారుడైన వీడు మొండివాడై తిరుగ బడి యున్నాడు; మా మాట వినక తిండిబోతును త్రాగుబోతును ఆయెనని ఊరి పెద్దలతో చెప్ప వలెను.

20. and shall say unto the elders of his city: This our son, is rebellious and insulting, he will not hearken unto our voice, a glutton and a tippler.

21. అప్పుడు ఊరి ప్రజలందరు రాళ్లతో అతని చావగొట్టవలెను. అట్లు ఆ చెడుతనమును నీ మధ్యనుండి పరిహరించుదువు. అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరు విని భయపడుదురు.

21. Then shall all the men of his city stone him with stones that he die, so shalt thou consume the wicked thing out of thy midst, and, all Israel, shall hear and fear.

22. మరణశిక్షకు తగిన పాపము ఒకడు చేయగా అతని చంపి మ్రానుమీద వ్రేలాడదీసినయెడల

22. But when there shall be in any man a sin worthy of death and he is to be put to death, and thou shalt hang him on a tree,

23. అతని శవము రాత్రి వేళ ఆ మ్రానుమీద నిలువకూడదు. వ్రేలాడదీయ బడినవాడు దేవునికి శాపగ్రస్తుడు గనుక నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా స్వాస్థ్యముగా నీకిచ్చుచున్న దేశమును నీవు అపవిత్రపరచకుండునట్లు అగత్యముగా ఆ దినమున వానిని పాతిపెట్టవలెను.

23. his dead body shall not remain all night upon the tree but thou shalt bury, him on the same day, for a reproach unto God, is he that is hanged, so shalt thou not make unclean thy soil which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee for an inheritance.
