1. ప్రవక్తయేగాని కలలు కనువాడేగాని నీ మధ్యలేచి నీ యెదుట సూచక క్రియనైనను మహత్కార్యమునైనను చేసి

1. If there arise amog you a prophet or a dreamer of dreames, (and giue thee a signe or wonder,

2. నీవు ఎరుగని యితర దేవతలను అనుసరించి పూజిం తము రమ్మని చెప్పినయెడల
ప్రకటన గ్రంథం 13:14

2. And the signe and the wonder, which hee hath tolde thee, come to passe) saying, Let vs go after other gods, which thou hast not knowen, and let vs serue them,

3. అతడు నీతో చెప్పిన సూచక క్రియగాని మహత్కార్యముగాని సంభవించినను ఆ ప్రవక్తమాటలను కలలు కనువాని మాటలను వినకూడదు. ఏలయనగా మీరు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను మీ పూర్ణ హృదయము తోను మీ పూర్ణాత్మతోను ప్రేమించుచున్నారో లేదో తెలిసికొనుటకు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మిమ్మును పరీక్షించుచున్నాడు.

3. Thou shalt not hearken vnto the wordes of the prophet, or vnto that dreamer of dreames: for the Lord your God prooueth you, to knowe whether ye loue the Lord your God with al your heart, and with all your soule.

4. మీరు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు లోబడి ఆయనకే భయపడి ఆయన ఆజ్ఞల ననుసరించి ఆయన మాట విని ఆయనను సేవించి ఆయనను హత్తుకొని యుండవలెను.

4. Yee shall walke after the Lord your God and feare him, and shall keepe his commandements, and hearken vnto his voyce, and yee shall serue him, and cleaue vnto him.

5. నీవు నడవవలెనని నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకాజ్ఞాపించిన మార్గములోనుండి నిన్ను తొలగించునట్లు ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి మిమ్మును రప్పించి దాస్యగృహములోనుండి మిమ్మును విడిపించిన మీ దేవు డైన యెహోవామీద తిరుగుబాటు చేయుటకు మిమ్మును ప్రేరేపించెను గనుక ఆ ప్రవక్త కేమి ఆ కలలు కనువాని కేమి మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను. అట్లు నీ మధ్యనుండి ఆ చెడుతనమును పరిహరింపవలెను.

5. But that prophet, or that dreamer of dreames, he shall be slaine, because hee hath spoken to turne you away from the Lord your God (which brought you out of the lande of Egypt, and deliuered you out of the house of bodage) to thrust thee out of the way, wherein the Lord thy God commanded thee to walke: so shalt thou take the euill away foorth of the middes of thee.

6. నీ తల్లి కుమారుడేగాని నీ సహోదరుడేగాని నీ కుమా రుడేగాని నీ కుమార్తెయేగాని నీ కౌగిటి భార్యయేగాని నీ ప్రాణస్నేహితుడేగాని

6. If thy brother, the sonne of thy mother, or thine owne sonne, or thy daughter, or the wife, that lyeth in thy bosome, or thy friend, which is as thine owne soule, intice thee secretly, saying, Let vs goe and serue other gods, (which thou hast not knowen, thou, I say, nor thy fathers)

7. భూమియొక్క యీ కొన మొదలుకొని ఆ కొనవరకు నీకు సమీపముగా నుండినను నీకు దూరముగానుండినను, నీ చుట్టునుండు జనముల దేవ తలలో నీవును నీ పితరులును ఎరుగని యితర దేవతలను పూజింతము రమ్మని రహస్యముగా నిన్ను ప్రేరేపించిన యెడల

7. Any of the gods of the people which are round about you, neere vnto thee or farre off from thee, from the one ende of the earth vnto ye other:

8. వారి మాటకు సమ్మతింపకూడదు; వారిమాట వినకూడదు, వారిని కటాక్షింపకూడదు; వారియందు జాలి పడకూడదు, వారిని మాటుపరచకూడదు; అవశ్యముగా వారిని చంపవలెను.

8. Thou shalt not cosent vnto him, nor heare him, neither shall thine eye pitie him, nor shewe mercie, nor keepe him secret:

9. చంపుటకు నీ జనులందరికి ముందు గాను నీ చెయ్యి మొదట వారిమీద పడవలెను.

9. But thou shalt euen kill him: thine hand shall be first vpon him to put him to death, and then the handes of all the people.

10. రాళ్లతో వారిని చావగొట్టవలెను. ఏలయనగా ఐగుప్తుదేశములో నుండియు దాస్యగృహములోనుండియు నిన్ను రప్పించిన నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాయొద్దనుండి వారు నిన్ను తొలగింప యత్నించెదరు.

10. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he dye (because he hath gone about to thrust thee away from the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of ye land of Egypt, from ye house of bondage)

11. అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరు విని భయపడుదురు గనుక నీ మధ్య అట్టి దుష్కార్యమేమియు ఇకను చేయకుందురు.

11. That all Israel may heare and feare, and doe no more any such wickednesse as this among you.

12. నీవు నివసించుటకు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకిచ్చు చున్న నీ పురములలో ఏదోయొకదానియందు

12. If thou shalt heare say (concerning any of thy cities which the Lord thy God hath giuen thee to dwell in)

13. పనికి మాలిన కొందరు మనుష్యులు నీ మధ్య లేచి, మీరు ఎరుగని యితర దేవతలను పూజింతము రండని తమ పుర నివాసులను ప్రేరేపించిరని నీవు వినినయెడల, నీవు ఆ సంగతిని శోధించి పరీక్షించి బాగుగా విచారింపవలెను.

13. Wicked men are gone out from among you, and haue drawen away the inhabitants of their citie, saying, Let vs go and serue other gods, which ye haue not knowen,

14. అది నిజమైనయెడల, అనగా అట్టి హేయమైనది నీ మధ్య జరిగినయెడల

14. Then thou shalt seeke, and make searche and enquire diligently: and if it be true, and the thing certaine, that such abomination is wrought among you,

15. ఆ పురనివాసులను అవశ్యముగా కత్తివాత సంహరించి, దానిని దానిలోనున్న సమస్తమును దాని పశువులను కత్తివాత నిర్మూలము చేయవలెను.

15. Thou shalt euen slay the inhabitants of that citie with the edge of the sworde: destroy it vtterly, and all that is therein, and the cattel thereof with the edge of the sworde.

16. దాని కొల్లసొమ్మంతటిని విశాలవీధిలో చేర్చి, నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా పేరట ఆ పురమును దాని కొల్లసొమ్మంతటిని అగ్నితో బొత్తిగా కాల్చి వేయవలెను. అది తిరిగి కట్ట బడక యెల్లప్పుడును పాడుదిబ్బయై యుండును.

16. And thou shalt gather all the spoyle of it into the middes of the streete thereof, and burne with fire the citie and all the spoyle thereof euery whit, vnto the Lord thy God: and it shall be an heape for euer: it shall not be built againe.

17. నేడు నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలన్నిటిని గైకొనుచు

17. And there shall cleaue nothing of ye damned thing to thine hand, that the Lord may turne from the fiercenes of his wrath, and shewe thee mercie, and haue compassion on thee and multiplie thee, as he hath sworne vnto thy fathers:

18. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా దృష్టికి యథార్థమైన దాని చేయుచు, నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాట వినునప్పుడు యెహోవా తన కోపాగ్నినుండి మళ్లుకొని నీయందు కని కరపడి నిన్ను కరుణించి నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన రీతిని నిన్ను విస్తరింపజేయునట్లు, నిర్మూలము చేయవలసిన దానిలో కొంచెమైనను నీయొద్ద ఉంచుకొనకూడదు.

18. When thou shalt obey the voyce of the Lord thy God, and keepe all his commandements which I command thee this day, that thou do that which is right in the eyes of the Lord thy God.
