1. కాబట్టి, మీరు సమాధానమను బంధముచేత ఆత్మ కలిగించు ఐక్యమును కాపాడుకొనుటయందు శ్రద్ధ కలిగిన వారై, ప్రేమతో ఒకనినొకడు సహించుచు,

1. I therefore which am in bonds for the Lord's sake exhort you, that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,(walk as it becometh your calling wherein ye are called)

2. మీరు పిలువబడిన పిలుపునకు తగినట్లుగా దీర్ఘశాంతముతో కూడిన సంపూర్ణవినయముతోను సాత్వికముతోను నడుచుకొనవలెనని,

2. in all humbleness of mind, and meekness, and long suffering, forbearing one another thorow love,

3. ప్రభువునుబట్టి ఖైదీనైన నేను మిమ్మును బతిమాలు కొనుచున్నాను.

3. and that ye be diligent to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace,

4. శరీర మొక్కటే, ఆత్మయు ఒక్కడే; ఆ ప్రకారమే మీ పిలుపువిషయమై యొక్కటే నిరీక్షణ యందుండుటకు పిలువబడితిరి.

4. being one body, and one spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.

5. ప్రభువు ఒక్కడే, విశ్వాస మొక్కటే, బాప్తిస్మ మొక్కటే,

5. Let there be but one Lord, one faith, one baptism:

6. అందరికి తండ్రియైన దేవుడు ఒక్కడే. ఆయన అందరికిపైగా ఉన్నవాడై అందరిలోను వ్యాపించి అందరిలోఉన్నాడు.

6. one God and father of all, which is above all, thorow all, and in us all.(and in you all)

7. అయితే మనలో ప్రతివానికిని క్రీస్తు అనుగ్రహించు వరము యొక్క పరిమాణముచొప్పున కృప యియ్యబడెను.

7. Unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8. అందుచేత ఆయన ఆరోహణమైనప్పుడు, చెరను చెరగా పట్టుకొనిపోయి మనష్యులకు ఈవులను అనుగ్రహించెనని చెప్పబడియున్నది.
కీర్తనల గ్రంథము 68:18

8. Wherefore he saith: He is gone up on high, and hath led(led away) captivity captive, and hath given gifts unto men.

9. ఆరోహణమాయెననగా ఆయన భూమియొక్క క్రింది భాగములకు దిగెననియు అర్థమిచ్చు చున్నదిగదా.
కీర్తనల గ్రంథము 47:5

9. That he ascended: what meaneth it,(went up, what is it) but that he also descended(came down) first into the lowest parts of the earth?

10. దిగినవాడు తానే సమస్తమును నింపునట్లు ఆకాశమండలము లన్నిటికంటె మరి పైకి ఆరోహణమైన వాడునై యున్నాడు.

10. He that descended, is even the same also that ascended up, even above all heavens, to fulfil all things.

11. మనమందరము విశ్వాసవిషయములోను దేవుని కుమారునిగూర్చిన జ్ఞానవిషయములోను ఏకత్వముపొంది సంపూర్ణపురుషులమగువరకు,

11. And the very same, made some Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, some Shepherds, some Teachers:

12. అనగా క్రీస్తునకు కలిగిన సంపూర్ణతకు సమానమైన సంపూర్ణత కలవారమగువరకు, ఆయన ఈలాగు నియమించెను.

12. that the saints might have all things necessary to work and minister withal, to the edifying of the body of Christ,

13. పరిశుద్ధులు సంపూర్ణులగునట్లు క్రీస్తు శరీరము క్షేమాభివృద్ధి చెందుటకును, పరిచర్య ధర్మము జరుగుటకును, ఆయన కొందరిని అపొస్తలులనుగాను, కొందరిని ప్రవక్తలనుగాను, కొందరిని సువార్తికులనుగాను, కొందరిని కాపరులనుగాను ఉపదేశకులనుగాను నియమించెను.

13. till we everyeachone (in the unity of faith,(we all come unto one manner of faith) and knowledge of the son of God) grow up unto a perfect man, after the measure of age which is in(of) the fullness of Christ:(and become a perfect man in to the measure of the perfect age of Christ)

14. అందువలన మనమిక మీదట పసిపిల్లలమై యుండి, మనుష్యుల మాయో పాయములచేత వంచనతోను, తప్పుమార్గమునకు లాగు కుయుక్తితోను, గాలికి కొట్టుకొనిపోవునట్లు, కల్పింపబడిన ప్రతి ఉపదేశమునకు ఇటు అటు కొట్టుకొనిపోవుచు అలలచేత ఎగురగొట్టబడినవారమైనట్లుండక

14. That we henceforth be no more children wavering and carried with every wind of doctrine, by the wiliness(wickedness) of men and craftiness, whereby they lay a wait for us to deceive us.

15. ప్రేమగలిగి సత్యము చెప్పుచు క్రీస్తువలె ఉండుటకు, మనమన్ని విషయములలో ఎదుగుదము.

15. But let us follow the truth in love, and in all things grow in him which is the head, that is to say Christ,

16. ఆయన శిరస్సయి యున్నాడు, ఆయననుండి సర్వశరీరము చక్కగా అమర్చ బడి, తనలోనున్న ప్రతి అవయవము తన తన పరిమాణము చొప్పున పనిచేయుచుండగా ప్రతి కీలువలన గలిగిన బలముచేత అతుకబడి, ప్రేమయందు తనకు క్షేమాభివృద్ధి కలుగునట్లు శరీరమునకు అభివృద్ధి కలుగజేసికొనుచున్నది.

16. in whom all the body is coupled and knit together, in every joint, wherewith one ministereth to another (according to the operation as every part(member) hath his measure) and increaseth the body,(maketh the body grow) unto the edifying of itself in love.

17. కాబట్టి అన్యజనులు నడుచుకొనునట్లు మీరికమీదట నడుచుకొనవలదని ప్రభువునందు సాక్ష్యమిచ్చుచున్నాను.

17. This I say herefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other gentiles walk, in vanities(vanity) of their mind,

18. వారైతే అంధకారమైన మనస్సుగలవారై, తమ హృదయ కాఠిన్యమువలన తమలోనున్న అజ్ఞానముచేత దేవునివలన కలుగు జీవములోనుండి వేరుపరచబడినవారై, తమ మనస్సు నకు కలిగిన వ్యర్థత అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనుచున్నారు.

18. blinded in their understanding, being strangers from the life which is in God, thorow the ignorancy that is in them, because of the blindness of their hearts:

19. వారు సిగ్గులేనివారైయుండి నానావిధమైన అపవిత్రతను అత్యాశతో జరిగించుటకు తమ్మునుతామే కాముకత్వమునకు అప్పగించుకొనిరి.

19. which being past repentance have given themselves unto wantonness, to work all manner of uncleanness even with greediness.

20. అయితే మీరు యేసునుగూర్చి విని,

20. But ye have not so learned Christ;

21. ఆయనయందలి సత్యము ఉన్నది ఉన్నట్టుగానే ఆయన యందు ఉపదేశింపబడినవారైనయెడల, మీరాలాగు క్రీస్తును నేర్చుకొన్నవారుకారు.

21. If so be ye have heard of him, and are taught in him, even as the truth is in Jesu:

22. కావున మునుపటి ప్రవర్తన విషయములోనైతే, మోసకరమైన దురాశవలన చెడిపోవు మీ ప్రాచీనస్వభావమును వదలుకొని

22. so then as concerning the conversation in time past, lay from you that old man, which is corrupt thorow the deceivable lusts,

23. మీ చిత్తవృత్తియందు నూతనపరచబడినవారై,

23. and be ye renewed in the spirit of your minds,

24. నీతియు యథార్థమైన భక్తియుగలవారై, దేవుని పోలికగా సృష్టింప బడిన నవీనస్వభావమును ధరించుకొనవలెను.
ఆదికాండము 1:26

24. and put on that new man, which after a godly wise,(which after the image of God) is shapen in righteousness, and true holiness.

25. మనము ఒకరికొకరము అవయవములై యున్నాము గనుక మీరు అబద్ధమాడుట మాని ప్రతివాడును తన పొరుగువానితో సత్యమే మాటలాడవలెను.
జెకర్యా 8:16

25. Wherefore put away lying, and speak every man truth unto his neighbor, forasmuch as we are members one of another.

26. కోపపడుడి గాని పాపము చేయకుడి; సూర్యుడస్తమించువరకు మీ కోపమునిలిచియుండకూడదు.
కీర్తనల గ్రంథము 4:4

26. Be angry, but sin not: let not the son go down upon your wrath,

27. అపవాదికి చోటియ్యకుడి;

27. give no(neither give) place unto the backbiter,

28. దొంగిలువాడు ఇకమీదట దొంగిలక అక్కరగలవానికి పంచిపెట్టుటకు వీలుకలుగు నిమిత్తము తన చేతులతో మంచి పనిచేయుచు కష్టపడవలెను.

28. let him that stole steal no more, but let him rather labour with his hands some good thing, that he may have to give unto him that needeth.

29. వినువారికి మేలు కలుగునట్లు అవసరమునుబట్టి క్షేమాభివృద్ధికరమైన అను కూలవచనమే పలుకుడి గాని దుర్భాషయేదైనను మీనోట రానియ్యకుడి.

29. Let no filthy communication proceed out of your mouths: but that which is good to edify withal, when need is: that it may have favour with the hearers.

30. దేవుని పరిశుద్ధాత్మను దుఃఖపరచకుడి; విమోచనదినమువరకు ఆయనయందు మీరు ముద్రింపబడి యున్నారు.
యెషయా 63:10

30. And grieve not the holy spirit of God, by whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

31. సమస్తమైన ద్వేషము, కోపము, క్రోధము, అల్లరి, దూషణ, సకలమైన దుష్టత్వము మీరు విసర్జించుడి.

31. Let all bitterness, fierceness and wrath, roaring and cursed speaking, be put away from you, with all maliciousness.

32. ఒకని యెడల ఒకడు దయగలిగి కరుణాహృదయులై క్రీస్తునందు దేవుడు మిమ్మును క్షమించిన ప్రకారము మీరును ఒకరినొకరు క్షమించుడి.

32. Be ye courteous one to another, be(and) merciful forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's(Christes) sake forgave you.
