1. కాబట్టి సహోదరులారా, పరిశుద్ధమును దేవునికి అనుకూలమునైన సజీవ యాగముగా మీ శరీరములను ఆయనకు సమర్పించుకొనుడని దేవుని వాత్సల్యమునుబట్టి మిమ్మును బతిమాలుకొనుచున్నాను. ఇట్టి సేవ మీకు యుక్త మైనది.

1. I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercifulness of God that ye make your bodies a quick sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God which is your reasonable serving of God.

2. మీరు ఈ లోక మర్యాదను అనుసరింపక, ఉత్తమమును, అనుకూలమును, సంపూర్ణమునై యున్న దేవుని చిత్తమేదో పరీక్షించి తెలిసికొనునట్లు మీ మనస్సు మారి నూతనమగుటవలన రూపాంతరము పొందుడి.

2. And fashion not yourselves like unto this world: But be ye changed in your shape, by(changed thorow) the renewing of your wits,(mind) that ye may feel(prove) what thing that good, that acceptable, and perfect will of God is.

3. తన్నుతాను ఎంచుకొనతగినదానికంటె ఎక్కువగా ఎంచుకొనక, దేవుడు ఒక్కొకనికి విభజించి యిచ్చిన విశ్వాస పరిమాణప్రకారము, తాను స్వస్థబుద్ధిగలవాడగుటకై తగినరీతిగా తన్ను ఎంచుకొనవలెనని, నాకు అను గ్రహింపబడిన కృపనుబట్టి మీలోనున్న ప్రతి వానితోను చెప్పుచున్నాను.

3. For I say (thorow the grace that unto me given is) to every man among you, that no man esteem of himself more than it becometh him to esteem: But that he discreetly judge of himself according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

4. ఒక్క శరీరములో మనకు అనేక అవయవములుండినను, ఈ అవయవములన్నిటికిని ఒక్కటే పని యేలాగు ఉండదో,

4. As we have many members in one body: and all members have not one office:(one manner of operation)

5. ఆలాగే అనేకులమైన మనము క్రీస్తులో ఒక్క శరీరముగా ఉండి, ఒకనికొకరము ప్రత్యేకముగా అవయవములమై యున్నాము.

5. So we being many are one body in Christ: and every man (among ourselves) one another's members.

6. మన కనుగ్రహింపబడిన కృపచొప్పున వెవ్వేరు కృపావరములు కలిగినవారమై యున్నాము గనుక,

6. Seeing that we have divers gifts according to the grace that is given unto us, if any man have the gift of prophecy, let him have it that it be agreeing unto(according to) the faith.

7. ప్రవచనవరమైతే విశ్వాస పరిమాణముచొప్పున ప్రవచింతము;పరిచర్యయైతే పరిచర్యలోను,

7. Let him that hath an office, wait on his office.

8. బోధించువాడైతే బోధించుటలోను, హెచ్చరించువాడైతే హెచ్చరించుటలోను పనికలిగియుందము. పంచిపెట్టువాడు శుద్ధమనస్సుతోను, పైవిచారణ చేయువాడు జాగ్రత్తతోను, కరుణించు వాడు సంతోషముతోను పని జరిగింపవలెను.

8. Let him that teacheth take heed to his doctrine. Let him that exhorteth give attendance to his exhortation. If any man give, let him do it with singleness. Let him that ruleth do it with diligence. If any man shew mercy let him do it with cheerfulness.

9. మీ ప్రేమ నిష్కపటమైనదై యుండవలెను. చెడ్డదాని నసహ్యించుకొని మంచిదానిని హత్తుకొని యుండుడి.

9. Let love be without dissimulation. Hate that which is evil, and cleave unto that which is good.

10. సహోదర ప్రేమ విషయములో ఒకనియందొకడు అనురాగముగల వారై, ఘనతవిషయములో ఒకని నొకడు గొప్పగా ఎంచుకొనుడి.

10. Be kind one to(unto) another, with brotherly love. In giving honour go one before another.

11. ఆసక్తి విషయములో మాంద్యులు కాక, ఆత్మయందు తీవ్రతగలవారై ప్రభువును సేవించుడి.

11. Let not that business which ye have in hand be tedious to you. Be fervent in the spirit. Apply yourselves to the time.

12. నిరీక్షణగలవారై సంతోషించుచు, శ్రమయందు ఓర్పు గలవారై, ప్రార్థనయందు పట్టుదల కలిగియుండుడి.

12. Rejoice in hope. Be patient in tribulation, continue in prayer.

13. పరిశుద్ధుల అవసరములలో పాలుపొందుచు, శ్రద్ధగా ఆతిథ్యము ఇచ్చుచుండుడి.

13. Distribute unto the necessity of the saints. (and be ready to harbor.)

14. మిమ్మును హింసించువారిని దీవించుడి; దీవించుడి గాని శపింపవద్దు.

14. Bless them which persecute you: bless but curse not.

15. సంతోషించు వారితో సంతోషించుడి;

15. Be merry with them that are merry. Weep with them that weep.

16. ఏడ్చువారితో ఏడువుడి; ఒకనితో నొకడు మనస్సుకలిసి యుండుడి. హెచ్చు వాటియందు మనస్సుంచక తగ్గువాటియందు ఆసక్తులై యుండుడి. మీకు మీరే బుద్ధిమంతులమని అనుకొనవద్దు.

16. Be of like affection one towards another.(Be of one mind among your selves) Be not high minded,(proud) but make yourselves equal to them of the lower sort. Be not wise in your own opinions.

19. ప్రియులారా, మీకు మీరే పగతీర్చుకొనక, దేవుని ఉగ్రతకు చోటియ్యుడి పగతీర్చుట నా పని, నేనే ప్రతిఫలము నిత్తును అని ప్రభువు చెప్పుచున్నాడని వ్రాయబడి యున్నది.

19. Dearly beloved avenge not yourselves but give room unto the wrath of God. For it is written: vengeance is mine, and I will reward saith the Lord.

20. కాబట్టి, నీ శత్రువు ఆకలిగొనియుంటే అతనికి భోజనము పెట్టుము, దప్పిగొనియుంటే దాహమిమ్ము; ఆలాగు చేయుటవలన అతని తలమీద నిప్పులు కుప్పగా పోయుదువు.
