1. అటు తరువాత యూదులు ఆయనను చంప వెదకి నందున యేసు యూదయలో సంచరించనొల్లక గలిలయలో సంచరించుచుండెను.

1. After this, Jesus traveled around the country of Galilee. He did not want to travel in Judea, because the Jewish leaders there wanted to kill him.

2. It was time for the Jewish Festival of Shelters.

3. ఆయన సహోదరులు ఆయనను చూచినీవు చేయుచున్న క్రియలు నీ శిష్యులును చూచునట్లు ఈ స్థలము విడిచి యూదయకు వెళ్లుము.

3. So his brothers said to him, 'You should leave here and go to the festival in Judea. Then your followers there can see the miracles you do.

4. బహిరంగమున అంగీకరింపబడ గోరువాడెవడును తన పని రహస్యమున జరిగింపడు. నీవు ఈ కార్యములు చేయుచున్నయెడల నిన్ను నీవే లోకమునకు కనబరచుకొనుమని చెప్పిరి.

4. If you want to be well-known, you must not hide what you do. So show yourself to the world. Let them see these things you do.'

5. ఆయన సహోదరులైనను ఆయనయందు విశ్వాసముంచలేదు.

5. Jesus' brothers said this because even they did not believe in him.

6. యేసు నా సమయ మింకను రాలేదు; మీ సమయమెల్లప్పుడును సిద్ధముగానే యున్నది.

6. Jesus said to them, 'The right time for me has not yet come, but any time is right for you to go.

7. లోకము మిమ్మును ద్వేషింపనేరదుగాని, దాని క్రియలు చెడ్డవని నేను దానినిగూర్చి సాక్ష్యమిచ్చు చున్నాను గనుక అది నన్ను ద్వేషించుచున్నది.

7. The world cannot hate you. But the world hates me, because I tell the people in the world that they do evil things.

8. మీరు పండుగకు వెళ్లుడి; నా సమయమింకను పరిపూర్ణము కాలేదు గనుక నేను ఈ పండుగకు ఇప్పుడే వెళ్లనని వారితో చెప్పెను.

8. So you go to the festival. I will not go now, because the right time for me has not yet come.'

9. ఆయన వారితో ఈలాగున చెప్పి గలిలయలో నిలిచిపోయెను.

9. After Jesus said this, he stayed in Galilee.

10. అయితే ఆయన సహోదరులు పండుగకు వెళ్లిపోయిన తరువాత ఆయనకూడ బహిరంగముగా వెళ్లక రహస్యముగా వెళ్లెను.

10. So his brothers left to go to the festival. After they left, Jesus went too, but he did not let people see him.

11. పండుగలో యూదులు ఆయన ఎక్కడనని ఆయనను వెదకుచుండిరి.

11. At the festival the Jewish leaders were looking for him. They said, 'Where is that man?'

12. మరియు జనసమూహములలో ఆయననుగూర్చి గొప్ప సణుగు పుట్టెను; కొందరాయన మంచివాడనిరి; మరికొందరుకాడు, ఆయన జనులను మోసపుచ్చువాడనిరి;

12. There was a large group of people there. Many of them were talking secretly to each other about Jesus. Some people said, 'He is a good man.' But others said, 'No, he fools the people.'

13. అయితే యూదులకు భయపడి ఆయనను గూర్చి యెవడును బహిరంగముగా మాటలాడలేదు.

13. But no one was brave enough to talk about him openly. They were afraid of the Jewish leaders.

14. సగము పండుగైనప్పుడు యేసు దేవాలయములోనికి వెళ్లి బోధించుచుండెను.

14. When the festival was about half finished, Jesus went to the Temple area and began to teach.

15. యూదులు అందుకు ఆశ్చర్యపడి చదువుకొనని ఇతనికి ఈ పాండిత్యమెట్లు వచ్చెనని చెప్పుకొనిరి.

15. The Jewish leaders were amazed and said, 'How did this man learn so much? He never had the kind of teaching we had!'

16. అందుకు యేసు నేను చేయు బోధ నాది కాదు; నన్ను పంపినవానిదే.

16. Jesus answered, 'What I teach is not my own. My teaching comes from the one who sent me.

17. ఎవడైనను ఆయన చిత్తము చొప్పున చేయ నిశ్చయించుకొనినయెడల, ఆ బోధ దేవునివలన కలిగినదో, లేక నా యంతట నేనే బోధించు చున్నానో, వాడు తెలిసికొనును.

17. People who really want to do what God wants will know that my teaching comes from God. They will know that this teaching is not my own.

18. తనంతట తానే బోధించువాడు స్వకీయ మహిమను వెదకును గాని తన్ను పంపినవాని మహి మను వెదకువాడు సత్యవంతుడు, ఆయన యందు ఏ దుర్నీతియులేదు.

18. If I taught my own ideas, I would just be trying to get honor for myself. But if I am trying to bring honor to the one who sent me, I can be trusted. Anyone doing that is not going to lie.

19. మోషే మీకు ధర్మశాస్త్రము ఇయ్యలేదా? అయినను మీలో ఎవడును ఆ ధర్మశాస్త్ర మును గైకొనడు; మీరెందుకు నన్ను చంప జూచుచున్నారని వారితో చెప్పెను.

19. Moses gave you the law, right? But you don't obey that law. If you do, then why are you trying to kill me?'

20. అందుకు జనసమూహము నీవు దయ్యము పట్టినవాడవు, ఎవడు నిన్ను చంప జూచుచున్నాడని అడుగగా

20. The people answered, 'A demon is making you crazy! We are not trying to kill you.'

21. యేసు వారిని చూచి నేను ఒక కార్యము చేసితిని; అందుకు మీరందరు ఆశ్చర్యపడు చున్నారు.

21. Jesus said to them, 'I did one miracle on a Sabbath day, and you were all surprised.

22. మోషే మీకు సున్నతి సంస్కారమును నియమించెను, ఈ సంస్కారము మోషేవలన కలిగినది కాదు, పితరులవలననే కలిగినది. అయినను విశ్రాంతిదినమున మీరు మనుష్యునికి సున్నతి చేయు చున్నారు.

22. But you obey the law Moses gave you about circumcision �and sometimes you do it on a Sabbath day. (Really, Moses is not the one who gave you circumcision. It came from our ancestors who lived before Moses.) Yes, you often circumcise baby boys on a Sabbath day.

23. మోషే ధర్మ శాస్త్రము మీరకుండునట్లు ఒక మనుష్యుడు విశ్రాంతి దినమున సున్నతిపొందును గదా. ఇట్లుండగా నేను విశ్రాంతి దినమున ఒక మనుష్యుని పూర్ణస్వస్థతగల వానిగా చేసినందుకు మీరు నామీద ఆగ్రహపడు చున్నారేమి?

23. This shows that someone can be circumcised on a Sabbath day to obey the Law of Moses. So why are you angry with me for healing a person's whole body on the Sabbath day?

24. Stop judging by the way things look. Be fair and judge by what is really right.'

25. యెరూషలేమువారిలో కొందరు వారు చంప వెదకు వాడు ఈయనే కాడా?

25. Then some of the people who lived in Jerusalem said, 'This is the man they are trying to kill.

26. ఇదిగో ఈయన బహిరంగముగా మాటలాడుచున్నను ఈయనను ఏమనరు; ఈయన క్రీస్తని అధికారులు నిజముగా తెలిసికొనియుందురా?

26. But he is teaching where everyone can see and hear him. And no one is trying to stop him from teaching. Maybe the leaders have decided that he really is the Christ.

27. అయినను ఈయన ఎక్కడి వాడో యెరుగుదుము; క్రీస్తు వచ్చునప్పుడు ఆయన యెక్కడివాడో యెవడును ఎరుగడని చెప్పుకొనిరి.

27. But when the real Christ comes, no one will know where he comes from. And we know where this man's home is.'

28. కాగా యేసు దేవాలయములో బోధించుచుమీరు నన్నెరుగుదురు; నేనెక్కడివాడనో యెరుగుదురు; నా యంతట నేనే రాలేదు, నన్ను పంపినవాడు సత్యవంతుడు, ఆయనను మీరెరుగరు.

28. Jesus was still teaching in the Temple area when he said loudly, 'Do you really know me and where I am from? I am here, but not by my own decision. I was sent by one who is very real. But you don't know him.

29. నేను ఆయన యొద్దనుండి వచ్చితిని;ఆయన నన్ను పంపెను గనుక నేను ఆయనను ఎరుగుదునని బిగ్గరగా చెప్పెను.

29. I know him because I am from him. He is the one who sent me.'

30. అందుకు వారాయనను పట్టుకొన యత్నముచేసిరి గాని ఆయన గడియ యింకను రాలేదు గనుక ఎవడును ఆయనను పట్టు కొనలేదు.

30. When Jesus said this, the people tried to grab him. But no one was able even to touch him, because the right time for him had not yet come.

31. మరియు జనసమూహములో అనేకులు ఆయనయందు విశ్వాసముంచిక్రీస్తు వచ్చునప్పుడు ఈయన చేసినవాటి కంటె ఎక్కువైన సూచక క్రియలు చేయునా అని చెప్పుకొనిరి.

31. But many of the people believed in Jesus. They said, 'We are waiting for the Christ to come. When he comes, will he do more miraculous signs than this man has done?'

32. జనసమూహము ఆయనను గూర్చి యీలాగు సణుగుకొనుట పరిసయ్యులు వినినప్పుడు, ప్రధానయాజకులును పరిసయ్యులును ఆయనను పట్టుకొనుటకు బంట్రౌతులను పంపిరి.

32. The Pharisees heard what the people were saying about Jesus. So the leading priests and the Pharisees sent some Temple police to arrest him.

33. యేసు ఇంక కొంతకాలము నేను మీతోకూడ నుందును; తరువాత నన్ను పంపినవానియొద్దకు వెళ్లుదును;

33. Then Jesus said, 'I will be with you a little while longer. Then I will go back to the one who sent me.

34. మీరు నన్ను వెదకుదురు గాని నన్ను కనుగొనరు, నేనెక్కడ ఉందునో అక్కడికి మీరు రాలేరనెను.

34. You will look for me, but you will not find me. And you cannot come where I am.'

35. అందుకు యూదులుమనము ఈయనను కనుగొనకుండునట్లు ఈయన ఎక్కడికి వెళ్లబోవుచున్నాడు? గ్రీసుదేశస్థులలో చెదరిపోయిన వారియొద్దకు వెళ్లి గ్రీసుదేశస్థులకు బోధించునా?

35. These Jews said to each other, 'Where will this man go that we cannot find him? Will he go to the Greek cities where our people live? Will he teach the Greek people there?

36. నన్ను వెదకుదురు గాని కనుగొనరు, నేనెక్కడ ఉందునో అక్కడికి మీరు రాలేరని ఆయన చెప్పిన యీ మాట ఏమిటో అని తమలోతాము చెప్పుకొనుచుండిరి.

36. He says, 'You will look for me, but you will not find me.' He also says, 'You cannot come where I am.' What does this mean?'

37. ఆ పండుగలో మహాదినమైన అంత్యదినమున యేసు నిలిచిఎవడైనను దప్పిగొనిన యెడల నాయొద్దకు వచ్చి దప్పి తీర్చుకొనవలెను.

37. The last day of the festival came. It was the most important day. On that day Jesus stood up and said loudly, 'Whoever is thirsty may come to me and drink.

38. నాయందు విశ్వాసముంచు వాడెవడో లేఖనము చెప్పినట్టు వాని కడుపులోనుండి జీవ జలనదులు పారునని బిగ్గరగా చెప్పెను.

38. If anyone believes in me, rivers of living water will flow out from their heart. That is what the Scriptures say.'

39. తనయందు విశ్వాసముంచువారు పొంద బోవు ఆత్మనుగూర్చి ఆయన ఈ మాట చెప్పెను. యేసు ఇంకను మహిమపరచబడలేదు గనుక ఆత్మ ఇంకను అనుగ్రహింపబడియుండలేదు.

39. Jesus was talking about the Spirit. The Spirit had not yet been given to people, because Jesus had not yet been raised to glory. But later, those who believed in Jesus would receive the Spirit.

40. జనసమూహములో కొందరు ఈ మాటలు వినినిజముగా ఈయన ఆ ప్రవక్తయే అనిరి;

40. When the people heard the things Jesus said, some of them said, 'This man really is the Prophet. '

41. మరికొందరు ఈయన క్రీస్తే అనిరి; మరికొందరుఏమి? క్రీస్తు గలిలయలో నుండి వచ్చునా?

41. Other people said, 'He is the Christ. ' And others said, 'The Christ will not come from Galilee.

42. క్రీస్తు దావీదు సంతానములో పుట్టి దావీదు ఉండిన బేత్లెహేమను గ్రామములోనుండి వచ్చునని లేఖనము చెప్పుటలేదా అనిరి.

42. The Scriptures say that he will come from the family of David. And they say that he will come from Bethlehem, the town where David lived.'

43. So the people did not agree with each other about Jesus.

44. వారిలో కొందరు ఆయనను పట్టుకొన దలచిరి గాని యెవడును ఆయనను పట్టుకొనలేదు.

44. Some of the people wanted to arrest him. But no one tried to do it.

45. ఆ బంట్రౌతులు ప్రధానయాజకులయొద్దకును పరిసయ్యులయొద్దకును వచ్చినప్పుడు వారుఎందుకు మీ రాయ నను తీసికొని రాలేదని అడుగగా

45. The Temple police went back to the leading priests and the Pharisees. The priests and the Pharisees asked, 'Why didn't you bring Jesus?'

46. ఆ బంట్రౌతులు ఆ మనుష్యుడు మాటలాడినట్లు ఎవడును ఎన్నడును మాట లాడలేదనిరి.

46. The Temple police answered, 'We have never heard anyone say such amazing things!'

47. అందుకు పరిసయ్యులు మీరుకూడ మోస పోతిరా?

47. The Pharisees answered, 'So he has fooled you too!

48. అధికారులలో గాని పరిసయ్యులలో గాని యెవడైనను ఆయనయందు విశ్వాసముంచెనా?

48. You don't see any of the leaders or any of us Pharisees believing in him, do you?

49. అయితే ధర్మశాస్త్ర మెరుగని యీ జనసమూహము శాపగ్రస్తమైనదని వారితో అనిరి.

49. But those people out there know nothing about the law. They are under God's curse!'

50. అంతకుమునుపు ఆయనయొద్దకు వచ్చిన నీకొదేము వారిలో ఒకడు.

50. But Nicodemus was there in that group. He was the one who had gone to see Jesus before. He said,

51. అతడు ఒక మనుష్యుని మాట వినకమునుపును, వాడు చేసినది తెలిసికొనక మునుపును, మన ధర్మశాస్త్రము అతనికి తీర్పు తీర్చునా అని అడుగగా
ద్వితీయోపదేశకాండము 1:16

51. Our law will not let us judge anyone without first hearing them and finding out what they have done.'

52. వారు నీవును గలిలయుడవా? విచారించి చూడుము, గలిలయలో ఏ ప్రవక్తయు పుట్టడనిరి.

52. The Jewish leaders answered, 'You must be from Galilee too! Study the Scriptures. You will find nothing about a prophet coming from Galilee.'

53. అంతట ఎవరి యింటికి వారు వెళ్లిరి.

53. Then they all left and went home.
