1. Yeshua, full of the Ruach HaKodesh, returned from the Yarden, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness

2. for forty days, being tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days. Afterward, when they were completed, he was hungry.

3. అపవాది నీవు దేవుని కుమారుడవైతే, రొట్టె అగునట్లు ఈ రాతితో చెప్పుమని ఆయనతో చెప్పెను

3. The devil said to him, 'If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.'

4. అందుకు యేసు మనుష్యుడు రొట్టెవలన మాత్రమే జీవించడు అని వ్రాయబడియున్నదని వానికి ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చెను.

4. Yeshua answered him, saying, 'It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.''

5. The devil, leading him up on a high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6. The devil said to him, 'I will give you all this authority, and their glory, for it has been delivered to me; and I give it to whomever I want.

7. కాబట్టి నీవు నాకు మ్రొక్కితివా యిదంతయు నీదగునని ఆయనతో చెప్పెను.

7. If you therefore will worship before me, it will all be yours.'

8. అందుకు యేసు నీ దేవుడైన ప్రభువునకు మ్రొక్కి ఆయనను మాత్రము సేవింపవలెను అని వ్రాయబడియున్నదని వానికి ప్రత్యుత్తర మిచ్చెను.

8. Yeshua answered him, 'Get behind me Hasatan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.''

9. He led him to Yerushalayim, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, 'If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down from here,

10. నిన్ను కాపాడుటకు నిన్ను గూర్చి తన దూతలకు ఆజ్ఞాపించును.

10. for it is written, 'He will give his angels charge concerning you, to guard you;'

13. When the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him until another time.

14. Yeshua returned in the power of the Spirit into the Galil, and news about him spread through all the surrounding area.

15. ఆయన అందరిచేత ఘనతనొంది, వారి సమాజమందిరములలో బోధించుచు వచ్చెను.

15. He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

16. తరువాత ఆయన తాను పెరిగిన నజరేతునకు వచ్చెను. తన వాడుక చొప్పున విశ్రాంతిదినమందు సమాజమందిరము లోనికి వెళ్లి, చదువుటకై నిలుచుండగా

16. He came to Natzeret, where he had been brought up. He entered, as was his custom, into the synagogue on the day of Shabbat, and stood up to read.

17. ప్రవక్తయైన యెషయా గ్రంథము ఆయన చేతి కియ్యబడెను; ఆయన గ్రంథము విప్పగా -

17. The book of the prophet Yesha`yahu was handed to him. He opened the book, and found the place where it was written,

18. ప్రభువు ఆత్మ నామీద ఉన్నది బీదలకు సువార్త ప్రకటించుటకై ఆయన నన్ను అభిషేకించెను చెరలోనున్న వారికి విడుదలను, గ్రుడ్డివారికి చూపును, (కలుగునని) ప్రకటించుటకును నలిగినవారిని విడిపించుటకును

18. 'The Spirit of the Lord is on me, Because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim release to the captives, Recovering of sight to the blind, To deliver those who are crushed,

19. ప్రభువు హితవత్సరము ప్రకటించుటకును ఆయన నన్ను పంపియున్నాడు. అని వ్రాయబడిన చోటు ఆయనకు దొరకెను.

19. And to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.'

20. He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21. సమాజ మందిరములో నున్నవారందరు ఆయనను తేరిచూడగా, ఆయననేడు మీ వినికిడిలో ఈ లేఖనము నెరవేరినదని వారితో చెప్పసాగెను.

21. He began to tell them, 'Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.'

22. అప్పుడందరును ఆయననుగూర్చి సాక్ష్యమిచ్చుచు, ఆయన నోటనుండి వచ్చిన దయగల మాటల కాశ్చర్యపడి ఈయన యోసేపు కుమారుడు కాడా? అని చెప్పుకొనుచుండగా

22. All testified about him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth, and they said, 'Isn't this Yosef's son?'

23. He said to them, 'Doubtless you will tell me this parable, 'Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Kafar-Nachum, do also here in your hometown.''

24. మరియు ఆయనఏ ప్రవక్తయు స్వదేశ మందు హితుడుకాడని మీతో నిశ్చయముగా చెప్పుచున్నాను.

24. He said, 'Most assuredly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.

25. But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Yisra'el in the days of Eliyah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land.

26. Eliyah was sent to none of them, except to Tzarfat, in the land of Tzidon, to a woman who was a widow.

27. There were many lepers in Yisra'el in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Na`aman, the Arammian.'

28. They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue, as they heard these things.

29. ఆగ్రహముతో నిండుకొని, లేచి ఆయనను పట్టణములో నుండి వెళ్లగొట్టి, ఆయనను తలక్రిందుగా పడద్రోయవలెనని తమ పట్టణము కట్టబడిన కొండపేటువరకు ఆయనను తీసికొని పోయిరి.

29. They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff.

30. అయితే ఆయన వారి మధ్యనుండి దాటి తన మార్గమున వెళ్లిపోయెను.

30. But he, passing through the midst of them, went his way.

31. అప్పుడాయన గలిలయలోని కపెర్నహూము పట్టణము నకు వచ్చి, విశ్రాంతిదినమున వారికి బోధించు చుండెను.

31. He came down to Kafar-Nachum, a city of the Galil. He was teaching them on the day of Shabbat,

32. ఆయన వాక్యము అధికారముతో కూడినదై యుండెను గనుక వారాయన బోధకు ఆశ్చర్యపడిరి.

32. and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority.

33. ఆ సమాజ మందిరములో అపవిత్రమైన దయ్యపు ఆత్మపట్టిన వాడొక డుండెను.

33. In the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,

34. వాడునజరేయుడవైన యేసూ, మాతో నీకేమి? మమ్ము నశింపజేయ వచ్చితివా? నీ వెవడవో నేనెరుగుదును; నీవు దేవుని పరిశుద్ధుడవని బిగ్గరగా కేకలు వేసెను.

34. saying, 'Ah! what have we to do with you, Yeshua of Natzeret? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are: the Holy One of God!'

35. అందుకు యేసు ఊరకుండుము, ఇతనిని వదలి పొమ్మని దానిని గద్దింపగా, దయ్యము వానిని వారిమధ్యను పడద్రోసి వానికి ఏ హానియు చేయక వదలి పోయెను.

35. Yeshua rebuked him, saying, 'Be silent, and come out of him!' When the demon had thrown him down in their midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm.

36. అందు కందరు విస్మయమొంది ఇది ఎట్టి మాట? ఈయన అధికారముతోను బలముతోను అపవిత్రాత్మలకు ఆజ్ఞా పింపగానే అవి వదలిపోవుచున్నవని యొకనితో నొకడు చెప్పుకొనిరి.
యెషయా 52:14

36. Amazement came on all, and they spoke together, one with another, saying, 'What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!'

37. అంతట ఆయననుగూర్చిన సమాచారము ఆ ప్రాంతములందంతటను వ్యాపించెను.

37. News about him went out into every place of the surrounding region.

38. ఆయన సమాజమందిరములోనుండి లేచి, సీమోను ఇంటిలోనికి వెళ్లెను. సీమోను అత్త తీవ్రమైన జ్వరముతో పడియుండెను గనుక ఆమె విషయమై ఆయనయొద్ద మనవి చేసికొనిరి.

38. He rose up from the synagogue, and entered into Shim`on's house. Shim`on's mother-in-law was afflicted with a great fever, and they begged him for her.

39. ఆయన ఆమె చెంతను నిలువబడి, జ్వరమును గద్దింపగానే అది ఆమెను విడిచెను; వెంటనే ఆమె లేచి వారికి ఉపచారము చేయసాగెను.

39. He stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her. Immediately she rose up and served them.

40. సూర్యుడస్తమించుచుండగా నానావిధ రోగములచేత పీడింపబడుచున్నవారు ఎవరెవరియొద్దనుండిరో వారందరు ఆ రోగులను ఆయనయొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చిరి; అప్పుడాయన వారిలో ప్రతివానిమీద చేతులుంచి, వారిని స్వస్థపరచెను.

40. When the sun was setting, all those who had any sick with various diseases brought them to him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

41. ఇంతేకాక దయ్యములునీవు దేవుని కుమారుడవని కేకలు వేసి అనేకులను వదలిపోయెను; ఆయన క్రీస్తు అని వాటికి తెలిసియుండెను గనుక ఆయన వాటిని గద్దించి వాటిని మాటాడనీయలేదు.

41. Demons also came out from many, crying out, and saying, 'You are the Messiah, the Son of God!' Rebuking them, he didn't allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Messiah.

42. ఉదయమైనప్పుడు ఆయన బయలుదేరి అరణ్య ప్రదేశ మునకు వెళ్లెను. జనసమూహము ఆయనను వెదకుచు ఆయనయొద్దకు వచ్చి, తమ్మును విడిచి పోకుండ ఆపగా

42. When it was day, he departed and went into an uninhabited place, and the multitudes looked for him, and came to him, and held on to him, so that he wouldn't go away from them.

43. ఆయననేనితర పట్టణములలోను దేవుని రాజ్యసువార్తను ప్రకటింపవలెను; ఇందునిమిత్తమే నేను పంపబడితినని వారితో చెప్పెను.

43. But he said to them, 'I must preach the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other cities also. For this reason I have been sent.'

44. తరువాత ఆయన యూదయ సమాజమందిరములలో ప్రకటించుచుండెను.

44. He was preaching in the synagogues of the Galil.
