1. ఆయన దేవాలయములోనుండి వెళ్లుచుండగా ఆయన శిష్యులలో ఒకడుబోధకుడా, యీ రాళ్లేలాటివో యీ కట్టడములు ఏలాటివో చూడుమని ఆయనతో అనెను.

1. AND AS [Jesus] was coming out of the temple [area], one of His disciples said to Him, Look, Teacher! Notice the sort and quality of these stones and buildings!

2. అందుకు యేసుఈ గొప్ప కట్టడములు చూచుచున్నావే; రాతిమీద రాయి యొకటియైన ఇక్కడ నిలిచియుండకుండ పడద్రోయబడునని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

2. And Jesus replied to him, You see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be loosened and torn down.

3. And as He sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple [enclosure], Peter and James and John and Andrew asked Him privately,

4. ఇవి ఎప్పుడు జరుగును? ఇవన్నియు నెరవేరబోవుకాలమునకు ఏ గురుతు కలుగును? అది మాతో చెప్పుమని ఆయనను ఏకాంత మందు అడుగగా

4. Tell us when is this to take place and what will be the sign when these things, all [of them], are about to be accomplished?

5. యేసు వారితో ఇట్లు చెప్పసాగెను ఎవడును మిమ్మును మోసపుచ్చకుండ చూచుకొనుడి.

5. And Jesus began to tell them, Be careful and watchful that no one misleads you [about it].

6. అనేకులు నా పేరట వచ్చినేనే ఆయననని చెప్పి అనేకులను మోసపుచ్చెదరు.

6. Many will come in [appropriating to themselves] the name [of Messiah] which belongs to Me [basing their claims on the use of My name], saying, I am [He]! And they will mislead many.

7. మీరు యుద్ధములను గూర్చియు యుద్ధసమాచారములను గూర్చియు విను నప్పుడు కలవరపడకుడి; ఇవి జరుగవలసియున్నవి గాని అంతము వెంటనే రాదు.

7. And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not get alarmed (troubled and frightened); it is necessary [that these things] take place, but the end is not yet.

8. జనముమీదికి జనమును రాజ్యముమీదికి రాజ్యమును లేచును, అక్కడక్కడ భూకంపములు కలుగును, కరవులు వచ్చును. ఇవే వేద నలకుప్రారంభము.

8. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines and calamities. This is but the beginning of the intolerable anguish and suffering [only the first of the birth pangs].

9. మిమ్మునుగూర్చి మీరే జాగ్రత్తపడుడి. వారు మిమ్మును సభల కప్పగించెదరు; మిమ్మును సమాజమందిరములలో కొట్టించెదరు; మీరు వారికి సాక్ష్యార్థమై అధిపతుల యెదుటను రాజుల యెదుటను నా నిమిత్తము నిలువబడెదరు.

9. But look to yourselves; for they will turn you over to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake as a testimony to them.

10. సకల జనములకు సువార్త ముందుగా ప్రకటింప బడవలెను.

10. And the good news (the Gospel) must first be preached to all nations.

11. వారు మిమ్మును అప్పగించుటకు కొనిపోవు నప్పుడు మీరుఏమి చెప్పుదుమా అని ముందుగా చింతింపకుడి, ఆ గడియలోనే మీకేది ఇయ్యబడునో అదే చెప్పుడి; చెప్పువాడు పరిశుద్ధాత్మయే గాని మీరు కారు.

11. Now when they take you [to court] and put you under arrest, do not be anxious beforehand about what you are to say nor [even] meditate about it; but say whatever is given you in that hour and at the moment, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

12. సహోదరుడు సహోదరుని, తండ్రి కుమారుని, మరణమున కప్పగింతురు; కుమారులు తలిదండ్రులమీద లేచి వారిని చంపింతురు;

12. And brother will hand over brother to death, and the father his child; and children will take a stand against their parents and [have] them put to death.

13. నా నామము నిమిత్తము అందరిచేత మీరు ద్వేషింపబడుదురు; అంతమువరకు సహించినవాడే రక్షణ పొందును.

13. And you will be hated and detested by everybody for My name's sake, but he who patiently perseveres and endures to the end will be saved (made a partaker of the salvation by Christ, and delivered from spiritual death).

14. But when you see the abomination of desolation mentioned by Daniel the prophet standing where it ought not to be--[and] let the one who reads take notice and consider and understand and heed [this]--then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. [Dan. 9:27; 11:31; 12:11.]

15. మిద్దెమీద ఉండువాడు ఇంటిలోనుండి ఏదైనను తీసికొనిపోవుటకై దిగి అందులో ప్రవేశింపకూడదు;

15. Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house nor go inside to take anything out of his house;

16. పొలములో ఉండువాడు తన వస్త్రము తీసికొనిపోవుటకు ఇంటిలోనికి తిరిగి రాకూడదు.

16. And let him who is in the field not turn back again to get his mantle (cloak).

17. అయ్యో, ఆ దినములలో గర్భిణులకును పాలిచ్చు వారికిని శ్రమ.

17. And alas for those who are pregnant and for those who have nursing babies in those days!

18. అది చలికాలమందు సంభవింపకుండ వలెనని ప్రార్థించుడి.

18. Pray that it may not occur in winter,

19. అవి శ్రమగల దినములు; దేవుడు సృజించిన సృష్ట్యాదినుండి ఇదివరకు అంత శ్రమ కలుగలేదు, ఇక ఎన్నడును కలుగబోదు.

19. For at that time there will be such affliction (oppression and tribulation) as has not been from the beginning of the creation which God created until this particular time--and positively never will be [again].

20. ప్రభువు ఆ దినములను తక్కువచేయనియెడల ఏ శరీరియు తప్పించు కొనక పోవును; ఏర్పరచబడినవారి నిమిత్తము, అనగా తాను ఏర్పరచుకొనిన వారినిమిత్తము ఆయన ఆ దినములను తక్కువ చేసెను.

20. And unless the Lord had shortened the days, no human being would be saved (rescued); but for the sake of the elect, His chosen ones (those whom He picked out for Himself), He has shortened the days. [Dan. 12:1.]

21. కాగా ఇదిగో క్రీస్తు ఇక్కడ నున్నాడు, అదిగో అక్కడ నున్నాడు అని యెవడైనను మీతో చెప్పినయెడల నమ్మకుడి.

21. And then if anyone says to you, See, here is the Christ (the Messiah)! or, Look, there He is! do not believe it.

22. ఆ కాలమందు అబద్ధపు క్రీస్తులును అబద్ధపు ప్రవక్తలును వచ్చి, సాధ్యమైనయెడల ఏర్పరచబడినవారిని మోసపుచ్చుటకై సూచక క్రియలను మహత్కార్యములను అగపరచెదరు.

22. False Christs (Messiahs) and false prophets will arise and show signs and [work] miracles to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (those God has chosen out for Himself).

23. మీరు జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండుడి; ఇదిగో సమస్తమును మీతో ముందుగా చెప్పి యున్నాను.

23. But look to yourselves and be on your guard; I have told you everything beforehand.

24. ఆ దినములలో ఆ శ్రమతీరిన తరువాత చీకటి సూర్యుని కమ్మును, చంద్రుడు తన కాంతిని ఇయ్యడు, ఆకాశమునుండి నక్షత్రములు రాలును,

24. But in those days, after [the affliction and oppression and distress of] that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; [Isa. 13:10.]

25. ఆకాశమందలి శక్తులు కదలింపబడును.

25. And the stars will be falling from the sky, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. [Isa. 34:4.]

26. అప్పుడు మనుష్యకుమారుడు మహా ప్రభావముతోను మహిమతోను మేఘారూఢుడై వచ్చుట చూచెదరు.

26. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great (kingly) power and glory (majesty and splendor). [Dan. 7:13, 14.]

27. అప్పుడాయన తన దూతలను పంపి, భూమ్యంతము మొదలుకొని ఆకాశాంతమువరకు నలుదిక్కులనుండి తాను ఏర్పరచుకొనినవారిని పోగు చేయించును.

27. And then He will send out the angels and will gather together His elect (those He has picked out for Himself) from the four winds, from the farthest bounds of the earth to the farthest bounds of heaven.

28. అంజూరపు చెట్టును చూచి యొక ఉపమానము నేర్చు కొనుడి. దాని కొమ్మ యింక లేతదై చిగిరించునప్పుడు వసంతకాలము సమీపముగా ఉన్నదని మీకు తెలియును.

28. Now learn a lesson from the fig tree: as soon as its branch becomes tender and it puts forth its leaves, you recognize and know that summer is near.

29. ఆ ప్రకారమే మీరు ఈ సంగతులు జరుగుట చూచునప్పుడు ఆయన సమీపముననే ద్వారము దగ్గరనే ఉన్నాడని తెలిసికొనుడి.

29. So also, when you see these things happening, you may recognize and know that He is near, at [the very] door.

30. ఇవన్నియు జరుగు వరకు ఈ తరము గతింపదని నిశ్చయముగా మీతో చెప్పు చున్నాను.

30. Surely I say to you, this generation (the whole multitude of people living at that one time) positively will not perish or pass away before all these things take place.

31. ఆకాశమును భూమియును గతించునుగాని నా మాటలు గతింపవు.
కీర్తనల గ్రంథము 45:2

31. Heaven and earth will perish and pass away, but My words will not perish or pass away.

32. ఆ దినమును గూర్చియు ఆ గడియను గూర్చియు తండ్రి తప్ప ఏ మనుష్యుడైనను, పరలోకమందలి దూత లైనను, కుమారుడైనను ఎరుగరు.

32. But of that day or that hour not a [single] person knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

33. జాగ్రత్తపడుడి; మెలకువగానుండి ప్రార్థనచేయుడి; ఆ కాలమెప్పుడు వచ్చునో మీకు తెలియదు.

33. Be on your guard [constantly alert], and watch and pray; for you do not know when the time will come.

34. ఒక మనుష్యుడు తన దాసులకు అధికారమిచ్చి, ప్రతివానికి వాని వాని పని నియమించిమెలకువగా నుండుమని ద్వారపాలకునికి ఆజ్ఞాపించి, యిల్లు విడిచి దేశాంతరము పోయినట్టే (ఆ కాలము ఉండును. )

34. It is like a man [already] going on a journey; when he leaves home, he puts his servants in charge, each with his particular task, and he gives orders to the doorkeeper to be constantly alert and on the watch.

35. ఇంటి యజమానుడు ప్రొద్దు గ్రుంకివచ్చునో, అర్ధరాత్రివచ్చునో, కోడికూయునప్పుడు వచ్చునో, తెల్లవారునప్పుడు వచ్చునో, యెప్పుడు వచ్చునో మీకు తెలియదు.

35. Therefore watch (give strict attention, be cautious and alert), for you do not know when the Master of the house is coming--in the evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning--

36. ఆయన అకస్మాత్తుగా వచ్చి మీరు నిద్రబోవుచుండుట చూచునేమో గనుక మీరు మెలకువగా నుండుడి.

36. [Watch, I say] lest He come suddenly and unexpectedly and find you asleep.

37. నేను మీతో చెప్పుచున్నది అందరితోను చెప్పుచున్నాను; మెలకువగా నుండుడనెను.

37. And what I say to you I say to everybody: Watch (give strict attention, be cautious, active, and alert)!
