1. This is the family tree of Aaron and Moses at the time GOD spoke with Moses on Mount Sinai.

2. అహరోను కుమారుల పేరులు ఏవనగా, తొలుతపుట్టిన నాదాబు అబీహు ఎలియాజరు ఈతామారు అనునవే.

2. The names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar--

3. ఇవి అభిషేకమునొంది యాజకులైన అహరోను కుమారుల పేరులు; వారు యాజకులగునట్లు అతడు వారిని ప్రతిష్ఠించెను.

3. anointed priests ordained to serve as priests.

4. But Nadab and Abihu fell dead in the presence of GOD when they offered unauthorized sacrifice to him in the Wilderness of Sinai. They left no sons, and so only Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests during the lifetime of their father, Aaron.

5. GOD spoke to Moses. He said,

6. 'Bring forward the tribe of Levi and present them to Aaron so they can help him.

8. Their job is to be responsible for all the furnishings of The Dwelling, ministering to the affairs of The Dwelling as the People of Israel come to perform their duties.

9. Turn the Levites over to Aaron and his sons; they are the ones assigned to work full time for him.

11. GOD spoke to Moses:

12. 'I have taken the Levites from among the People of Israel as a stand-in for every Israelite mother's firstborn son. The Levites belong to me.

13. All the firstborn are mine--when I killed all the firstborn in Egypt, I consecrated for my own use every firstborn in Israel, whether human or animal. They belong to me. I am GOD.'

14. GOD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai:

15. 'Count the Levites by their ancestral families and clans. Count every male a month old and older.'

16. కాబట్టి మోషే యెహోవా తనకు ఆజ్ఞాపించి నట్లు ఆయన మాట చొప్పున వారిని లెక్కించెను.

16. Moses counted them just as he was instructed by the mouth of GOD.

17. లేవి కుమారుల పేళ్లు గెర్షోను కహాతు మెరారి అనునవి.

17. These are the names of the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

18. గెర్షోను కుమారుల వంశకర్తల పేళ్లు లిబ్నీ షిమీ అనునవి.

18. These are the names of the Gershonite clans: Libni and Shimei.

19. కహాతు కుమారుల వంశకర్తల పేళ్లు అమ్రాము ఇస్హారు హెబ్రోను ఉజ్జీయేలు అనునవి.

19. The sons of Kohath by clan: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

20. మెరారి కుమారుల వంశకర్తల పేళ్లు మాహలి మూషి. వారివారి పితరుల కుటుంబముల చొప్పున ఇవి లేవీయుల వంశములు.

20. The sons of Merari by clan: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of Levi, family by family.

21. లిబ్నీ యులు షిమీయులు గెర్షోను వంశస్థులు గెర్షోనీయుల వంశపువారు వీరే.

21. Gershon was ancestor to the clans of the Libnites and Shimeites, known as the Gershonite clans.

22. వారిలో లెక్కింప బడినవారు అనగా ఒక నెల మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయముగల మగవారందరిలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు ఏడువేల ఐదువందల మంది.

22. All the males who were one month and older numbered 7,500.

23. గెర్షోనీ యుల వంశములు మందిరము వెనుకను, అనగా పడమటి దిక్కున దిగవలెను.

23. The Gershonite clans camped on the west, behind The Dwelling,

24. గెర్షోనీయుల పితరుల కుటుంబములో లాయేలు కుమారుడైన ఎలీయాసాపు ప్రధానుడు.

24. led by Eliasaph son of Lael.

25. ప్రత్య క్షపు గుడారములో గెర్షోను కుమారులు కాపాడవలసిన వేవనగా, మందిరము గుడారము దాని పైకప్పు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము ద్వారపు తెరయు

25. At the Tent of Meeting the Gershonites were in charge of maintaining The Dwelling and its tent, its coverings, the screen at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,

26. ప్రాకారయౌవనికలు మందిరమునకును బలిపీఠమునకును చుట్టునున్న ప్రాకార ద్వారపు తెరయు దాని సమస్త సేవకొరకైన త్రాళ్లును.

26. the hangings of the Courtyard, the screen at the entrance to the Courtyard that surrounded The Dwelling and Altar, and the cords--in short, everything having to do with these things.

27. కహాతు వంశమేదనగా, అమ్రామీయుల వంశము ఇస్హారీయుల వంశము హెబ్రోనీయుల వంశము ఉజ్జీయేలీ యుల వంశము; ఇవి కహాతీయుల వంశములు.

27. Kohath was ancestor to the clans of the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites, and Uzzielites. These were known as the Kohathite clans.

28. ఒక నెల మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయముగల మగవారందరి లెక్క చూడగా ఎనిమిదివేల ఆరువందలమంది పరిశుద్ధ స్థలమును కాపాడవలసినవారైరి.

28. All the males who were one month and older numbered 8,600. The Kohathites were in charge of the Sanctuary.

29. కహాతు కుమారుల వంశములు మందిరముయొక్క ప్రక్కను, అనగా దక్షిణదిక్కున దిగవలసినవారు.

29. The Kohathite clans camped on the south side of The Dwelling,

30. కహాతీయుల వంశముల పితరుల కుటుంబ మునకు ప్రధానుడు ఉజ్జీయేలు కుమారుడైన ఎలీషాపాను.

30. led by Elizaphan son of Uzziel.

31. They were in charge of caring for the Chest, the Table, the Lampstand, the Altars, the articles of the Sanctuary used in worship, and the screen--everything having to do with these things.

32. Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, supervised the leaders of the Levites and those in charge of the Sanctuary.

33. Merari was ancestor to the clans of the Mahlites and the Mushites, known as the Merarite clans.

34. The males who were one month and older numbered 6,200.

35. They were led by Zuriel son of Abihail and camped on the north side of The Dwelling.

36. మెరారి కుమారులు మందిరము యొక్క పలకలను దాని అడ్డకఱ్ఱలను దాని స్తంభములను దాని దిమ్మలను దాని ఉపకరణము లన్నిటిని దాని సేవకొరకైనవన్నిటిని

36. The Merarites were in charge of the frames of The Dwelling, its crossbars, posts, bases, and all its equipment--everything having to do with these things,

37. దాని చుట్టునున్న ప్రాకార స్తంభములను వాటి దిమ్మలను వాటి మేకులను వాటి త్రాళ్లను కాపాడవలసినవారు.

37. as well as the posts of the surrounding Courtyard with their bases, tent pegs, and cords.

38. మందిరము ఎదుటి తూర్పుదిక్కున, అనగా ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము ఎదుటి పూర్వదిశయందు దిగవలసినవారు మోషే అహరోనులు అహరోను కుమారులు; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు కాపాడ వలసిన పరిశుద్ధస్థలమును వారే కాపాడవలెను. అన్యుడు సమీపించినయెడల అతడు మరణశిక్ష నొందును.

38. Moses and Aaron and his sons camped to the east of The Dwelling, toward the rising sun, in front of the Tent of Meeting. They were in charge of maintaining the Sanctuary for the People of Israel and the rituals of worship. Anyone else who tried to perform these duties was to be put to death.

39. మోషే అహరోనులు యెహోవా మాటను బట్టి, తమ తమ వంశ ములచొప్పున లెక్కించిన లేవీయులలో లెక్కింపబడిన వారందరు, అనగా ఒక నెల మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయము గల మగవారందరు ఇరువది రెండువేలమంది.

39. The sum total of Levites counted at GOD's command by Moses and Aaron, clan by clan, all the males one month and older, numbered 22,000.

40. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో ఒక నెల మొదలు కొని పై ప్రాయముగల తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతిమగవానిని లెక్కించి వారి సంఖ్యను వ్రాయించుము.

40. GOD spoke to Moses: 'Count all the firstborn males of the People of Israel who are one month and older. List their names.

41. నేనే యెహోవాను; నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతి మగ పిల్లకు మారుగా లేవీయులను ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పశువులలొ తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతి దానికి మారుగా లేవీయుల పశువు లను నా నిమిత్తము తీసికొనవలెను.

41. Then set apart for me the Levites--remember, I am GOD--in place of all the firstborn among the People of Israel, also the livestock of the Levites in place of their livestock. I am GOD.'

42. కాబట్టి యెహోవా తనకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు మోషే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తొలుత పుట్టినవారి నందరిని లెక్కించెను.

42. So, just as GOD commanded him, Moses counted all the firstborn of the People of Israel.

43. వారిలో లెక్కింపబడిన వారి సంఖ్య, అనగా ఒక నెల మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయము గల తొలిచూలి మగవారందరి సంఖ్య యిరువది రెండు వేల రెండువందల డెబ్బదిమూడు.

43. The total of firstborn males one month and older, listed by name, numbered 22,273.

44. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెల విచ్చెను

44. Again GOD spoke to Moses. He said,

45. నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానికి మారుగా లేవీయులను వారి పశువులకు ప్రతిగా లేవీయుల పశువులను తీసికొనుము. లేవీ యులు నా వారైయుందురు; నేనే యెహోవాను.

45. 'Take the Levites in place of all the firstborn of Israel and the livestock of the Levites in place of their livestock. The Levites are mine, I am GOD.

46. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు తొలుత పుట్టిన వారిలో లేవీయుల కంటె రెండువందల డెబ్బది ముగ్గురు ఎక్కువైనందున శేషించినవారియొద్ద తలకొక అయిదేసి తులముల వెండిని తీసికొనవలెను.

46. Redeem the 273 firstborn Israelites who exceed the number of Levites

47. పరిశుద్ధమైన తులము చొప్పున వాటిని తీసికొనవలెను.

47. by collecting five shekels for each one, using the Sanctuary shekel (the shekel weighing twenty gerahs).

48. తులము ఇరువది చిన్న ములు. వారిలో ఎక్కువ మంది విమోచనకొరకు ఇయ్య బడిన ధనమును అహరోనుకును అతని కుమారులకును ఇయ్యవలెను.

48. Give that money to Aaron and his sons for the redemption of the excess number of Israelites.'

49. కాబట్టి మోషే లేవీయులవలన విడిపింప బడినవారికంటె ఆ యెక్కువైన వారియొక్క విమోచన ధనమును తీసికొనెను.

49. So Moses collected the redemption money from those who exceeded the number redeemed by the Levites.

50. పరిశుద్ధమైన తులముచొప్పున వెయ్యి మూడువందల అరువదియైదు తులముల ధనమును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల జ్యేష్ఠకుమారులయొద్ద తీసికొనెను.

50. From the 273 firstborn Israelites he collected silver weighing 1,365 shekels according to the Sanctuary shekel.

51. యెహోవా మోషే కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు యెహోవా నోటి మాటచొప్పున అహరోనుకును అతని కుమారులకును విడి పింపబడిన వారి విమోచన ధనమును మోషే యిచ్చెను.

51. Moses turned over the redemption money to Aaron and his sons, as he was commanded by the word of GOD.
