1. the LORD said to Moses and Eleazar; son of Aaron the priest,

2. 'Take a census, by ancestral houses, throughout the community of the Israelites of all those of twenty years or more who are fit for military service in Israel.'

3. So on the plains of Moab along the Jericho stretch of the Jordan, Moses and the priest Eleazar registered

21. The Perezites were: through Hezron the clan of the Hezronites, through Hamul the clan of the Hamulites.

28. The sons of Joseph were Manasseh and Ephraim.

33. హెపెరు కుమా రుడైన సెలోపెహాదుకు కుమార్తెలేగాని కుమారులు పుట్టలేదు. సెలోపెహాదు కుమార్తెల పేరులు మహలా నోయా హొగ్లా మిల్కా తిర్సా.

33. Zelophehad, son of Hepher, had no sons, but only daughters, whose names were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah.

34. వీరు మనష్షీయుల వంశస్థులు; వ్రాయబడినవారి సంఖ్యచొప్పున వీరు ఏబది రెండువేల ఏడు వందలమంది.

34. These were the clans of Manasseh, of whom fifty-two thousand seven hundred men were registered.

35. The Ephraimites by clans were: through Shuthelah the clan of the Shuthelahites, through Becher the clan of the Bechrites, through Tahan the clan of the Tahanites.

36. The Shuthelahites were: through Eran the clan of the Eranites.

37. These were the clans of the Ephraimites, of whom thirty-two thousand five hundred men were registered. These were the descendants of Joseph by clans.

38. The Benjaminites by clans were: through Bela the clan of the Belaites, through Ashbel the clan of the Ashbelites, through Ahiram the clan of the Ahiramites,

39. అహీరామీయులు అహీరాము వంశస్థులు;

39. through Shupham the clan of the Shuphamites, through Hupham the clan of the Huphamites.

40. షూపామీయులు షూపాము వంశస్థులు; బెల కుమారులు ఆర్దు నయమాను; ఆర్దీయులు ఆర్దు వంశ స్థులు; నయమానీయులు నయమాను వంశస్థులు.

40. The descendants of Bela were Arad and Naaman: through Arad the clan of the Aradites, through Naaman the clan of the Naamanites.

41. వీరు బెన్యామీనీయుల వంశస్థులు; వారిలో వ్రాయబడిన లెక్కచొప్పున నలుబదియయిదువేల ఆరువందల మంది.

41. These were the Benjaminites by clans, of whom forty-five thousand six hundred men were registered.

42. The Danites by clans were: through Shuham the clan of the Shuhamites. These were the clans of Dan,

43. వీరు తమ వంశములలో దానీయుల వంశ స్థులు. వ్రాయబడినవారి సంఖ్యచొప్పున వీరు అరువది నాలుగువేల నాలుగువందల మంది.

43. of whom sixty-four thousand four hundred men were registered.

44. ఆషేరు పుత్రుల వంశములలో యిమీ్నయులు యిమ్నా వంశస్థులు, ఇష్వీ యులు ఇష్వీ వంశస్థులు; బెరీయులు బెరీయా వంశస్థులు;

44. The Asherites by clans were: through Imnah the clan of the Imnites, through Ishvi the clan of the Ishvites, through Beriah the clan of the Beriites,

45. బెరీయానీయులలో హెబెరీయులు హెబెరు వంశస్థులు; మల్కీయేలీయులు మల్కీయేలు వంశస్థులు;

45. through Heber the clan of the Heberites, through Malchiel the clan of the Malchielites.

46. ఆషేరు కుమార్తె పేరు శెరహు.

46. The name of Asher's daughter was Serah.

47. వ్రాయబడినవారి సంఖ్య చొప్పున వీరు ఆషేరీయుల వంశస్థులు; వీరు ఏబదిమూడువేల నాలుగువందలమంది.

47. These were the clans of Asher, of whom fifty-three thousand four hundred men were registered.

48. నఫ్తాలీ పుత్రుల వంశములలో యహసయేలీయులు యహసయేలు వంశస్థులు; గూనీ యులు గూనీ వంశస్థులు;

48. The Naphtalites by clans were: through Jahzeel the clan of the Jahzeelites, through Guni the clan of the Gunites,

49. యేసెరీయులు యేసెరు వంశ స్థులు; షిల్లేమీయులు షిల్లేము వంశస్థులు.

49. through Jezer the clan of the Jezerites, through Shillem the clan of the Shillemites.

50. These were the clans of Naphtali, of whom forty-five thousand four hundred men were registered.

51. These six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirty were the Israelites who were registered.

52. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను వీరి పేళ్ల లెక్క చొప్పున ఆ దేశమును వీరికి స్వాస్థ్యముగా పంచిపెట్టవలెను.

52. The LORD said to Moses,

53. ఎక్కువమందికి ఎక్కువ స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్యవలెను;

53. 'Among these groups the land shall be divided as their heritage in keeping with the number of individuals in each group.

54. తక్కువమందికి తక్కువ స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్య వలెను. దాని దాని జనసంఖ్యనుబట్టి ఆయా గోత్రము లకు స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్యవలెను.

54. To a large group you shall assign a large heritage, to a small group a small heritage, each group receiving its heritage in proportion to the number of men registered in it.

55. చీట్లువేసి ఆ భూమిని పంచిపెట్టవలెను. వారు తమ తమ పితరుల గోత్రముల జనసంఖ్యచొప్పున స్వాస్థ్యమును పొందవలెను.

55. But the land shall be divided by lot, as the heritage of the various ancestral tribes.

56. ఎక్కువ మందికేమి తక్కువమందికేమి చీట్లు వేసి యెవరి స్వాస్థ్య మును వారికి పంచిపెట్టవలెను.

56. As the lot falls shall each group, large or small, be assigned its heritage.'

57. వారివారి వంశములలో లెక్కింపబడిన లేవీయులు వీరు. గెర్షోనీయులు గెర్షోను వంశస్థులు; కహాతీయులు కహాతు వంశస్థులు; మెరారీయులు మెరారి వంశస్థులు.

57. The Levites registered by clans were: through Gershon the clan of the Gershonites, through Kohath the clan of the Kohathites, through Merari the clan of the Merarites.

58. లేవీయుల వంశములు ఏవనగా, లిబ్నీయుల వంశము హెబ్రోనీయుల వంశము మహలీయుల వంశము మూషీ యుల వంశము కోరహీయుల వంశము.

58. These also were clans of Levi: the clan of the Libnites, the clan of the Hebronites, the clan of the Mahlites, the clan of the Mushites, the clan of the Korahites. Among the descendants of Kohath was Amram,

59. కహాతు అమ్రా మును కనెను; అమ్రాము భార్యపేరు యోకెబెదు. ఆమె లేవీ కుమార్తె; ఐగుప్తులో ఆమె లేవీకి పుట్టెను. ఆమె అమ్రామువలన అహరోనును మోషేను వీరి సహోదరియగు మిర్యామును కనెను.

59. whose wife was named Jochebed. She also was of the tribe of Levi, born to the tribe in Egypt. To Amram she bore Aaron and Moses and their sister Miriam.

60. అహరోనువలన నాదాబు అబీహు ఎలియాజరు ఈతామారు పుట్టిరి.

60. To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

61. నాదాబు అబీహులు యెహోవా సన్నిధికి అన్యాగ్ని తెచ్చినప్పుడు చనిపోయిరి.

61. But Nadab and Abihu died when they offered profane fire before the LORD.

62. వారిలో నెల మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయము కలిగి లెక్కింపబడినవారందరు ఇరువదిమూడువేలమంది. వారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు కారుగనుక ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో వారికి స్వాస్థ్యమియ్య బడలేదు.

62. The total number of male Levites one month or more of age, who were registered, was twenty-three thousand. They were not registered with the other Israelites, however, for no heritage was given them among the Israelites.

63. యెరికో ప్రాంతములయందలి యొర్దానునొద్దనున్న మోయాబు మైదానములలో మోషేయు యాజకుడగు ఎలియాజరును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల జనసంఖ్య చేసినప్పుడు లెక్కింపబడినవారు వీరు.

63. These, then, were the men registered by Moses and the priest Eleazar in the census of the Israelites taken on the plains of Moab along the Jericho stretch of the Jordan.

64. మోషే అహరోనులు సీనాయి అరణ్యములో ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సంఖ్యను చేసి నప్పుడు లెక్కింపబడినవారిలో ఒక్కడైనను వీరిలో ఉండ లేదు.

64. Among them there was not a man of those who had been registered by Moses and the priest Aaron in the census of the Israelites taken in the desert of Sinai.

65. ఏలయనగా వారు నిశ్చయముగా అరణ్యములో చనిపోవుదురని యెహోవా వారినిగూర్చి సెలవిచ్చెను. యెపున్నె కుమారుడైన కాలేబును నూను కుమారుడైన యెహోషువయు తప్ప వారిలో ఒక్కడైనను మిగిలి యుండలేదు.

65. For the LORD had told them that they would surely die in the desert, and not one of them was left except Caleb, son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, son of Nun.
