1. ఆ తెగులు పోయిన తర్వాత యెహోవా మోషే కును యాజకుడగు అహరోను కుమారుడైన ఎలియాజరు కును ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. And it came to pass after the plague that the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,

2. మీరు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సర్వసమాజములోను ఇరువది ఏండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో సేనగా బయలు వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను వారి వారి పితరుల కుటుంబములను బట్టి వ్రాయించుడి.

2. Take the count of all the congregation of the children of Israel from twenty years old and upward throughout their father's house, all who are able to go to war in Israel.'

3. కాబట్టి యిరువది ఏండ్లు మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయముగల వారిని లెక్కింపుడని యెహోవా మోషేకును ఐగుప్తుదేశమునుండి వచ్చిన ఇశ్రా యేలీయులకును ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు మోషేయు యాజకుడగు ఎలియాజరును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు

3. And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan near Jericho, saying,

4. మోయాబు మైదానము లలో యెరికోయొద్దనున్న యొర్దాను దగ్గర నుండగా జన సంఖ్యను చేయుడని వారితో చెప్పిరి.

4. Take the count of the people from twenty years old and upward,' as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel who went forth out of the land of Egypt.

5. Reuben, the eldest son of Israel. The children of Reuben: Hanoch, of whom cometh the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites;

7. These are the families of the Reubenites; and those who were numbered of them were forty and three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.

8. పల్లు కుమారుడు ఏలీయాబు. ఏలీయాబు కుమారులు నెమూయేలు దాతాను అబీరాము.

8. And the son of Pallu: Eliab.

9. కోరహు తన సమూహములో పేరు పొందినవాడు; అతని సమాజము యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా వాదించినప్పుడు సమాజములో మోషే అహరోనులకు విరోధముగా వాదించిన దాతాను అబీరాములు వీరు.

9. And the sons of Eliab: Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. These are the Dathan and Abiram who were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah when they strove against the LORD.

10. ఆ సమూహపువారు మృతిబొంది నప్పుడు అగ్ని రెండువందల ఏబది మందిని భక్షించినందు నను, భూమి తన నోరు తెరచి వారిని కోరహును మింగి వేసినందునను, వారు దృష్టాంతములైరి.

10. And the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up together with Korah when that company died, the time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men; and they became a sign.

11. Notwithstanding, the children of Korah died not.

18. These are the families of the children of Gad according to those who were numbered of them, forty thousand and five hundred.

19. యూదా కుమారులు ఏరు ఓనాను; ఏరును ఓనానును కనాను దేశములో మృతి బొందిరి.

19. The sons of Judah were Er and Onan; and Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.

20. యూదావారి వంశములలో షేలాహీయులు షేలా వంశస్థులు; పెరెసీయులు పెరెసు వంశస్థులు జెరహీ యులు జెరహు వంశస్థులు;

20. And the sons of Judah according to their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; of Perez, the family of the Perezites; of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites.

21. పెరెసీయులలో హెస్రోనీ యులు హెస్రోను వంశస్థులు హామూలీయులు హామూలు వంశస్థులు

21. And the sons of Perez were: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.

22. వీరు యూదీయుల వంశస్థులు; వ్రాయ బడినవారి సంఖ్యచొప్పున వీరు డెబ్బదియారువేల ఐదు వందలమంది.

22. These are the families of Judah according to those who were numbered of them, threescore and sixteen thousand and five hundred.

23. ఇశ్శాఖారు పుత్రుల వంశస్థులలో తోలా హీయులు తోలావంశస్థులు; పువీ్వయులు పువ్వా వంశ స్థులు; యాషూబీయులు యాషూబు వంశస్థులు; షిమ్రో నీయులు షిమ్రోను వంశస్థులు; వీరు ఇశ్శాఖారీయుల వంశస్థులు.

23. Of the sons of Issachar according to their families: of Tola, the family of the Tolaites; of Pua, the family of the Punites;

24. of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites; of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites.

25. These are the families of Issachar according to those who were numbered of them, threescore and four thousand and three hundred.

26. Of the sons of Zebulun according to their families: of Sered, the family of the Sardites; of Elon, the family of the Elonites; of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.

27. వ్రాయబడినవారి సంఖ్యచొప్పున వీరు అరువదివేల ఐదువందలమంది.

27. These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those who were numbered of them, threescore thousand and five hundred.

28. యోసేపు పుత్రుల వంశస్థులు అతని కుమారులు మనష్షే ఎఫ్రాయిము.

28. The sons of Joseph according to their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.

29. మనష్షే కుమారులలో మాకీరీయులు మాకీరు వంశస్థులు; మాకీరు గిలాదును కనెను; గిలాదీయులు గిలాదు వంశస్థులు; వీరు గిలాదుపుత్రులు.

29. Of the sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir begot Gilead; of Gilead come the family of the Gileadites.

30. These are the sons of Gilead: of Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helekites;

32. And of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.

33. హెపెరు కుమా రుడైన సెలోపెహాదుకు కుమార్తెలేగాని కుమారులు పుట్టలేదు. సెలోపెహాదు కుమార్తెల పేరులు మహలా నోయా హొగ్లా మిల్కా తిర్సా.

33. And Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters; and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

34. వీరు మనష్షీయుల వంశస్థులు; వ్రాయబడినవారి సంఖ్యచొప్పున వీరు ఏబది రెండువేల ఏడు వందలమంది.

34. These are the families of Manasseh, and those who were numbered of them, fifty and two thousand and seven hundred.

35. ఎఫ్రాయిము పుత్రుల వంశములు ఇవి; షూతలహీయులు షూతలహు వంశస్థులు; బేకరీయులు బేకరు వంశస్థులు; తహనీయులు తహను వంశస్థులు,

35. These are the sons of Ephraim according to their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites; of Becher, the family of the Bachrites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.

36. వీరు షూతలహు కుమారులు; ఏరానీయులు ఏరాను వంశస్థులు.

36. And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.

37. వీరు ఎఫ్రాయిమీయుల వంశస్థులు. వ్రాయబడినవారి సంఖ్యచొప్పున వీరు ముప్పదిరెండువేల ఐదువందలమంది; వీరు యోసేపుపుత్రుల వంశస్థులు.

37. These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those who were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph according to their families.

38. బెన్యామీను పుత్రుల వంశములలో బెలీయులు బెల వంశస్థులు; అష్బేలీయులు అష్బేల వంశస్థులు;

38. The sons of Benjamin according to their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;

39. అహీరామీయులు అహీరాము వంశస్థులు;

39. of Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.

40. షూపామీయులు షూపాము వంశస్థులు; బెల కుమారులు ఆర్దు నయమాను; ఆర్దీయులు ఆర్దు వంశ స్థులు; నయమానీయులు నయమాను వంశస్థులు.

40. And the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman; of Ard, the family of the Ardites; and of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.

41. వీరు బెన్యామీనీయుల వంశస్థులు; వారిలో వ్రాయబడిన లెక్కచొప్పున నలుబదియయిదువేల ఆరువందల మంది.

41. These are the sons of Benjamin according to their families, and those who were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six hundred.

42. దాను పుత్రుల వంశములలో షూషామీయులు షూషాము వంశస్థులు;

42. These are the sons of Dan according to their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan according to their families.

43. వీరు తమ వంశములలో దానీయుల వంశ స్థులు. వ్రాయబడినవారి సంఖ్యచొప్పున వీరు అరువది నాలుగువేల నాలుగువందల మంది.

43. All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those who were numbered of them, were threescore and four thousand and four hundred.

44. ఆషేరు పుత్రుల వంశములలో యిమీ్నయులు యిమ్నా వంశస్థులు, ఇష్వీ యులు ఇష్వీ వంశస్థులు; బెరీయులు బెరీయా వంశస్థులు;

44. Of the children of Asher according to their families: of Jimna, the family of the Jimnites; of Jesui, the family of the Jesuites; of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.

45. బెరీయానీయులలో హెబెరీయులు హెబెరు వంశస్థులు; మల్కీయేలీయులు మల్కీయేలు వంశస్థులు;

45. Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.

46. ఆషేరు కుమార్తె పేరు శెరహు.

46. And the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.

47. వ్రాయబడినవారి సంఖ్య చొప్పున వీరు ఆషేరీయుల వంశస్థులు; వీరు ఏబదిమూడువేల నాలుగువందలమంది.

47. These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those who were numbered of them, who were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

48. నఫ్తాలీ పుత్రుల వంశములలో యహసయేలీయులు యహసయేలు వంశస్థులు; గూనీ యులు గూనీ వంశస్థులు;

48. Of the sons of Naphtali according to their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;

49. యేసెరీయులు యేసెరు వంశ స్థులు; షిల్లేమీయులు షిల్లేము వంశస్థులు.

49. of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.

50. వీరు నఫ్తాలీ యుల వంశస్థులు; వ్రాయబడిన వారి సంఖ్యచొప్పున వీరు నలుబదియయిదువేల నాలుగువందలమంది

50. These are the families of Naphtali according to their families, and those who were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and four hundred.

51. ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులలో లెక్కింపబడిన వీరు ఆరులక్షల వెయ్యిన్ని ఏడు వందల ముప్పదిమంది.

51. These were the numbered of the children of Israel: six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.

52. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను వీరి పేళ్ల లెక్క చొప్పున ఆ దేశమును వీరికి స్వాస్థ్యముగా పంచిపెట్టవలెను.

52. And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

53. ఎక్కువమందికి ఎక్కువ స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్యవలెను;

53. Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.

54. తక్కువమందికి తక్కువ స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్య వలెను. దాని దాని జనసంఖ్యనుబట్టి ఆయా గోత్రము లకు స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్యవలెను.

54. To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those who were numbered of him.

55. చీట్లువేసి ఆ భూమిని పంచిపెట్టవలెను. వారు తమ తమ పితరుల గోత్రముల జనసంఖ్యచొప్పున స్వాస్థ్యమును పొందవలెను.

55. Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot; according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.

56. ఎక్కువ మందికేమి తక్కువమందికేమి చీట్లు వేసి యెవరి స్వాస్థ్య మును వారికి పంచిపెట్టవలెను.

56. According to the lot shall the possession thereof be divided between many and few.'

57. వారివారి వంశములలో లెక్కింపబడిన లేవీయులు వీరు. గెర్షోనీయులు గెర్షోను వంశస్థులు; కహాతీయులు కహాతు వంశస్థులు; మెరారీయులు మెరారి వంశస్థులు.

57. And these are those who were numbered of the Levites according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.

58. లేవీయుల వంశములు ఏవనగా, లిబ్నీయుల వంశము హెబ్రోనీయుల వంశము మహలీయుల వంశము మూషీ యుల వంశము కోరహీయుల వంశము.

58. These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begot Amram.

59. కహాతు అమ్రా మును కనెను; అమ్రాము భార్యపేరు యోకెబెదు. ఆమె లేవీ కుమార్తె; ఐగుప్తులో ఆమె లేవీకి పుట్టెను. ఆమె అమ్రామువలన అహరోనును మోషేను వీరి సహోదరియగు మిర్యామును కనెను.

59. And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bore to Levi in Egypt; and she bore unto Amram, Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

60. అహరోనువలన నాదాబు అబీహు ఎలియాజరు ఈతామారు పుట్టిరి.

60. And unto Aaron was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

61. నాదాబు అబీహులు యెహోవా సన్నిధికి అన్యాగ్ని తెచ్చినప్పుడు చనిపోయిరి.

61. And Nadab and Abihu died when they offered strange fire before the LORD.

62. వారిలో నెల మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయము కలిగి లెక్కింపబడినవారందరు ఇరువదిమూడువేలమంది. వారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు కారుగనుక ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో వారికి స్వాస్థ్యమియ్య బడలేదు.

62. And those who were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.

63. యెరికో ప్రాంతములయందలి యొర్దానునొద్దనున్న మోయాబు మైదానములలో మోషేయు యాజకుడగు ఎలియాజరును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల జనసంఖ్య చేసినప్పుడు లెక్కింపబడినవారు వీరు.

63. These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan near Jericho.

64. మోషే అహరోనులు సీనాయి అరణ్యములో ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సంఖ్యను చేసి నప్పుడు లెక్కింపబడినవారిలో ఒక్కడైనను వీరిలో ఉండ లేదు.

64. But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest numbered when they numbered the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Sinai.

65. ఏలయనగా వారు నిశ్చయముగా అరణ్యములో చనిపోవుదురని యెహోవా వారినిగూర్చి సెలవిచ్చెను. యెపున్నె కుమారుడైన కాలేబును నూను కుమారుడైన యెహోషువయు తప్ప వారిలో ఒక్కడైనను మిగిలి యుండలేదు.

65. For the LORD had said of them, 'They shall surely die in the wilderness.' And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.
