1. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. The LORD said to Moses,

2. దీపము నిత్యము వెలుగుచుండునట్లు ప్రదీపము కొరకు దంచి తీసిన అచ్చమైన ఒలీవ నూనెను తేవలెనని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఆజ్ఞాపించుము.

2. 'Order the Israelites to bring you clear oil of crushed olives for the light, so that you may keep lamps burning regularly.

3. ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో శాసనముల అడ్డ తెరకు వెలుపల అహరోను సాయంకాలము మొదలుకొని ఉదయము వరకు అది వెలుగునట్లుగా యెహోవా సన్నిధిని దాని చక్కపరచవలెను. ఇది మీ తరతరములకు నిత్యమైన కట్టడ.

3. In the meeting tent, outside the veil that hangs in front of the commandments, Aaron shall set up the lamps to burn before the LORD regularly, from evening till morning. Thus, by a perpetual statute for you and your descendants,

4. అతడు నిర్మలమైన దీపవృక్షము మీద ప్రదీపములను యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నిత్యము చక్కపరచవలెను.

4. the lamps shall be set up on the pure gold lampstand, to burn regularly before the LORD.

5. నీవు గోధుమలపిండిని తీసికొని దానితో పండ్రెండు భక్ష్యములను వండవలెను. ఒక్కొక్క భక్ష్యమున సేరు సేరు పిండి యుండవలెను.

5. 'You shall take fine flour and bake it into twelve cakes, using two tenths of an ephah of flour for each cake.

6. యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నిర్మలమైన బల్లమీద ఆరేసి భక్ష్యములు గల రెండు దొంతులుగా వాటిని ఉంచవలెను.

6. These you shall place in two piles, six in each pile, on the pure gold table before the LORD.

7. ఒక్కొక్క దొంతిమీద స్వచ్ఛమైన సాంబ్రాణి ఉంచవలెను. అది యెహోవా యెదుట మీ ఆహారమునకు జ్ఞాపకార్థమైన హోమముగా ఉండును.

7. On each pile put some pure frankincense, which shall serve as an oblation to the LORD, a token offering for the bread.

8. యాజకుడు ప్రతి విశ్రాంతి దినమున నిత్య నిబంధననుబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యొద్ద దాని తీసికొని నిత్యము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని చక్కపరచవలెను.

8. Regularly on each sabbath day this bread shall be set out afresh before the LORD, offered on the part of the Israelites by an everlasting agreement.

9. అది అహరోనుకును అతని సంతతి వారికి ఉండవలెను. వారు పరిశుద్ధస్థలములో దాని తినవలెను. నిత్యమైన కట్టడ చొప్పున యెహోవాకు చేయు హోమములలో అది అతి పరిశుద్ధము.

9. It shall belong to Aaron and his sons, who must eat it in a sacred place, since, as something most sacred among the various oblations to the LORD, it is his by perpetual right.'

10. ఇశ్రాయేలీయురాలగు ఒక స్త్రీకిని ఐగుప్తీయుడగు ఒక పురుషునికిని పుట్టినవాడొకడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మధ్యకు వచ్చెను.

10. Among the Israelites there was a man born of an Israelite mother (Shelomith, daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan) and an Egyptian father.

11. ఆ ఇశ్రాయేలీయురాలి కుమారునికిని ఒక ఇశ్రాయేలీయునికిని పాళెములో పోరుపడగా ఆ ఇశ్రాయేలీయురాలి కుమారుడు యెహోవా నామమును దూషించి శపింపగా జనులు మోషేయొద్దకు వాని తీసి కొనివచ్చిరి. వాని తల్లిపేరు షెలోమీతు; ఆమె దాను గోత్రికుడైన దిబ్రీకుమారె

11. This man quarreled publicly with another Israelite and cursed and blasphemed the LORD'S name. So the people brought him to Moses,

12. యెహోవా యేమి సెలవిచ్చునో తెలిసికొనువరకు వానిని కావలిలో ఉంచిరి.

12. who kept him in custody till a decision from the LORD should settle the case for them.

13. అప్పుడు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

13. The LORD then said to Moses,

14. శపించినవానిని పాళెము వెలుపలికి తీసి కొనిరమ్ము; వాని శాపవచనమును వినినవారందరు వాని తలమీద తమ చేతులుంచిన తరువాత సర్వసమాజము రాళ్లతో వాని చావ గొట్టవలెను.

14. 'Take the blasphemer outside the camp, and when all who heard him have laid their hands on his head, let the whole community stone him.

15. మరియు నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఇట్లనుము తన దేవుని శపించువాడు తన పాపశిక్షను భరింపవలెను.

15. Tell the Israelites: Anyone who curses his God shall bear the penalty of his sin;

16. యెహోవా నామమును దూషించువాడు మరణశిక్ష నొందవలెను; సర్వసమాజము రాళ్లతో అట్టి వానిని చావ గొట్టవలెను. పరదేశియేగాని స్వదేశియేగాని యెహోవా నామమును దూషించిన యెడల వానికి మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను.

16. whoever blasphemes the name of the LORD shall be put to death. The whole community shall stone him; alien and native alike must be put to death for blaspheming the LORD'S name.

17. ఎవడైనను ఒకనిని ప్రాణహత్యచేసిన యెడల వానికి మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను.

17. 'Whoever takes the life of any human being shall be put to death;

18. జంతు ప్రాణహత్య చేసినవాడు ప్రాణమునకు ప్రాణమిచ్చి దాని నష్టము పెట్టుకొనవలెను.

18. whoever takes the life of an animal shall make restitution of another animal. A life for a life!

19. ఒకడు తన పొరుగు వానికి కళంకము కలుగజేసినయెడల వాడు చేసినట్లు వానికి చేయవలెను.

19. Anyone who inflicts an injury on his neighbor shall receive the same in return.

20. విరుగగొట్టబడిన దాని విషయములో విరుగగొట్టబడుటయే శిక్ష. కంటికి కన్ను పంటికి పల్లు, చెల్లవలెను. వాడు ఒకనికి కళంకము కలుగజేసినందున వానికి కళంకము కలుగజేయవలెను.

20. Limb for limb, eye for eye, tooth for tooth! The same injury that a man gives another shall be inflicted on him in return.

21. జంతువును చావగొట్టినవాడు దాని నష్టము నిచ్చుకొనవలెను. నరహత్య చేసినవానికి మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను.

21. Whoever slays an animal shall make restitution, but whoever slays a man shall be put to death.

22. మీరు పక్షపాతము లేక తీర్పుతీర్చవలెను. మీలోనున్న పరదేశికి మీరు చేసినట్టు మీ స్వదేశికిని చేయవలెను. నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవానని వారితో చెప్పుము అనెను.

22. You shall have but one rule, for alien and native alike. I, the LORD, am your God.'

23. కాబట్టి మోషే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఈలాగు చెప్పెను శపించిన వానిని పాళెము వెలుపలికి తీసికొనిపోయి రాళ్లతో వాని చావగొట్టవలెను, యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్టు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు చేసిరి.

23. When Moses told this to the Israelites, they took the blasphemer outside the camp and stoned him; they carried out the command that the LORD had given Moses.
