1. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఇట్లనుము

1. And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:

2. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలోనేగాని ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలలో నివసించు పరదేశులలోనేగాని యొకడు ఏమాత్రమును తన సంతానమును మోలెకుకు ఇచ్చినయెడల వానికి మరణ శిక్షవిధింపవలెను; మీ దేశప్రజలు రాళ్లతో వాని కొట్టవలెను.

2. Unto the sons of Israel, therefore shalt thou say, What man soever, there may be of the sons of Israel, or of the sojourners that sojourn in Israel, that giveth of his seed unto Molech, he shall, surely be put to death, the people of the land shall stone him with stones;

3. ఆ మనుష్యుడు నా పరిశుద్ధస్థలమును అపవిత్రపరచి నా పరిశుద్ధనామమును అపవిత్రపరచుటకు తన సంతానమును మోలెకుకు ఇచ్చెను గనుక నేను వానికి విరోధినై ప్రజలలోనుండి వాని కొట్టివేతును.

3. I, also, will set my face against that man, and will cut him off out of the midst of his people, because of his seed, hath he given unto Molech, seeing that he hath made unclean my sanctuary, even to the extent of profaning my holy name.

4. మరియు ఆ మనుష్యుడు తన సంతానమును మోలెకుకు ఇచ్చుచుండగా మీ దేశ ప్రజలు వాని చంపక,

4. But, if the people of the land, do even hide, their eyes from that man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, so as not to put him to death,

5. చూచి చూడనట్లు తమ కన్నులు మూసికొనినయెడల నేను వానికిని వాని కుటుంబమునకును విరోధినై వానిని మోలెకుతో వ్యభిచరించుటకు వాని తరిమి వ్యభిచారముచేయు వారినందరిని ప్రజలలోనుండి కొట్టివేతును.

5. then will I myself, set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that follow unchastely after him in going unchastely after Molech out of the midst of their people.

6. మరియు కర్ణపిశాచి గలవారితోను సోదెగాండ్ర తోను వ్యభిచరించుటకు వారితట్టు తిరుగువాడెవడో నేను వానికి విరోధినై ప్రజలలోనుండి వాని కొట్టి వేతును.

6. The person also that turneth unto mediums and unto oracles, in going unchastely after them, then will I set my face against that person, and will cut him off out of the midst of his people.

7. కావున మిమ్మును మీరు పరిశుద్ధపరచుకొని పరిశుద్ధులై యుండుడి; నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను.

7. Therefore shall ye hallow yourselves and be holy, Because I Yahweh, am your God.

8. మీరు నా కట్టడలను ఆచరించి వాటిని అనుసరింపవలెను, నేను మిమ్మును పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవాను

8. Therefore shall ye observe my statutes, and do them, I Yahweh, am he that is hallowing you.

9. ఎవడు తన తండ్రినైనను తన తల్లినైనను దూషించునో వానికి మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను. వాడు తన తండ్రినో తల్లినో దూషించెను గనుక తన శిక్షకు తానే కారకుడు.

9. When, any man whatsoever, curseth his father or his mother, he shall surely be put to death, his father or his mother, hath he cursed, his blood, shall be upon himself.

10. పరుని భార్యతో వ్యభిచరించిన వానికి, అనగా తన పొరుగు వాని భార్యతో వ్యభిచరించినవానికిని ఆ వ్యభిచారిణికిని మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను.

10. And, any man, who committeth adultery with the wife of any other man, he that committeth adultery with the wife of his neighbour shall surely be put to death the adulterer, and the adulteress.

11. తన తండ్రి భార్యతో శయనించిన వాడు తన తండ్రి మానాచ్ఛాదనమును తీసెను; వారిద్దరికిని మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను; తమ శిక్షకు తామే కారకులు.

11. And any man who lieth with his father's wife, the shame of his father, hath uncovered, they both shall, surely be put to death their blood shall be upon themselves.

12. ఒకడు తన కోడలితో శయనించినయెడల వారిద్దరికిని మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను. వారు వారి వరసలు తప్పిరి; వారి ప్రాణాపరాధము వారిమీదనుండును.

12. And any man who lieth with his daughter-in-law, they both shall, surely be put to death, confusion, have they wrought their blood shall be upon themselves.

13. ఒకడు స్త్రీతో శయనించినట్టు పురుషునితో శయనించిన యెడల వారిద్దరు హేయక్రియనుచేసిరి గనుక వారికి మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను; తమ శిక్షకు తామే కారకులు.

13. And any man who lieth with mankind as with womankind, an abomination, have both of them wrought, they shall, surely be put to death, their blood, shall be upon themselves.

14. ఒకడు స్త్రీని ఆమె తల్లిని పెండ్లిచేసికొనినయెడల అది దుష్కామ ప్రవర్తన. దుష్కామప్రవర్తన మీ మధ్య నుండకుండ వానిని వారిని అగ్నితో కాల్చవలెను.

14. And, any man, who taketh a woman and her mother, wickedness, it is, in fire, shall both he and they be consumed, that wickedness be not in your midst.

15. జంతు శయనము చేయువానికి మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను; ఆ జంతువును చంపవలెను.

15. And, any man, who hath carnal knowledge of a beast, shall, surely be put to death, and, the beast, shall ye slay.

16. స్త్రీ తన్ను జంతువు పొందునట్లు దాని సమీపించినయెడల ఆ స్త్రీకిని ఆ జంతువునకును మరణమే విధి; ఆమెను దానిని చంపవలెను; తమశిక్షకు తామే కారకులు.

16. And, a woman, who approacheth unto any beast, to couch down thereto, then shalt thou slay the woman and the beast, they shall surely be put to death, their blood, shall be upon themselves.

17. ఒకడు తన సహోదరిని, అనగా తన తండ్రి కుమార్తెనే గాని తన తల్లి కుమార్తెనేగాని చేర్చుకొని ఆమె దిసమొలను వాడును వాని దిసమొలను ఆమెయు చూచిన యెడల అది దురనురాగము. వారికిని తమ జనులయెదుట మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను. వాడు తన సహోదరిని మానా చ్ఛాదనమును తీసెను; తన దోష శిక్షను తాను భరించును.

17. And, any man, who taketh his sister his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, and vieweth her shame, and, she, vieweth his shame, a disgrace, it is, they shall therefore be cut off in the sight of the sons of their people, the shame of his sister, hath he uncovered his iniquity, shall he bear.

18. కడగానున్న స్త్రీతో శయనించి ఆమె మానాచ్ఛాదనమును తీసినవాడు ఆమె రక్తధారాచ్ఛాదనమును తీసెను; ఆమె తన రక్త ధారాచ్ఛాదనమును తీసివేసెను; వారి ప్రజలలోనుండి వారిద్దరిని కొట్టివేయవలెను.

18. And, any man, who lieth with a woman having her sickness, and uncovereth her shame, her fountain, hath he exposed, she, also hath uncovered her fountain of blood, they shall therefore both be cut off out of the midst of their people.

19. నీ తల్లి సహోదరి మానాచ్ఛాదనమునేగాని నీ తండ్రి సహోదరి మానాచ్ఛాదనమునేగాని తీయకూడదు; తీసినవాడు తన రక్త సంబంధియొక్క మానాచ్ఛాదనమును తీసెను; వారు తమ దోషశిక్షను భరించెదరు.

19. And the shame of thy mother's sister, or of thy father's sister, shalt thou not uncover, for his near of kin, hath he exposed their iniquity, shall they bear.

20. పినతల్లితోనేగాని పెత్తల్లితోనే గాని శయనించినవాడు తన తలిదండ్రుల సహోదరుల మానాచ్ఛాదనమును తీసెను, వారు తమ పాపశిక్షను భరించెదరు; సంతానహీనులై మరణమగుదురు.

20. And, any man, who lieth with his uncles wife, the shame of his uncle, hath he uncovered, their sin, shall they bear childless, shall they die.

21. ఒకడు తన సహోదరుని భార్యను చేర్చుకొనినయెడల అది హేయము. వాడు తన సహోదరుని మానాచ్ఛాదనమును తీసెను; వారు సంతానహీనులై యుందురు.

21. And, any man, who taketh his brother's wife, impurity, it is, the shame of his brother, hath he uncovered childless, shall they remain.

22. కాబట్టి మీరు నివసించునట్లు నేను ఏ దేశమునకు మిమ్మును తీసికొని పోవుచున్నానో ఆ దేశము మిమ్మును కక్కివేయకుండునట్లు మీరు నా కట్టడలన్నిటిని నా విధులన్నిటిని అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనవలెను.

22. Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes and all my regulations, and do them, So shall the land whereinto I am bringing you to dwell therein, not vomit you forth;

23. నేను మీ యెదుటనుండి వెళ్లగొట్టుచున్న జనముల ఆచారములను బట్టి నడుచుకొనకూడదు. వారు అట్టి క్రియలన్నియు చేసిరి గనుక నేను వారియందు అసహ్య పడితిని.

23. So shall ye not walk in the statutes of the nations, which I am casting out from before you, For all these things, had they done, Therefore I abhorred them;

24. నేను మీతో చెప్పిన మాట యిదేమీరు వారి భూమిని స్వాస్థ్యముగా పొందుదురు; అది, అనగా పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు ఆ దేశము, మీకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఉండునట్లు దాని మీకిచ్చెదను. జనములలోనుండి మిమ్మును వేరుపరచిన మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను నేనే.

24. And said unto you Ye, shall possess their soil, Yea, I myself, will give it you to possess it, A land flowing with milk and honey, I Yahweh, am your God, who have distinguished you from the peoples;

25. కావున మీరు పవిత్ర జంతువులకును అపవిత్ర జంతువులకును పవిత్ర పక్షులకును అపవిత్ర పక్షులకును విభజన చేయవలెను. అపవిత్రమైనదని నేను మీకు వేరుచేసిన యే జంతువువలననేగాని, యే పక్షివలననేగాని, నేల మీద ప్రాకు దేనివల ననేగాని మిమ్మును మీరు అపవిత్రపరచుకొనకూడదు.

25. Therefore shall ye make a distinction Between the clean beasts, and the unclean, And between the unclean birds and the clean, So shall ye not make your persons abominable with beast, or with bird or with anything which creepeth upon the ground, which I have distinguished for you, as unclean.

26. మీరు నాకు పరిశుద్ధులై యుండవలెను. యెహోవా అను నేను పరిశుద్ధుడను. మీరు నావారై యుండునట్లు అన్య జనులలోనుండి మిమ్మును వేరుపరచితిని.

26. Therefore shall ye be unto me, holy persons, for, holy, am, I Yahweh, Therefore have I distinguished you from the peoples, that ye may be mine.

27. పురుషునియందేమి స్త్రీయందేమి కర్ణపిశాచియైనను సోదెయైనను ఉండినయెడల వారికి మరణ శిక్ష విధింప వలెను, వారిని రాళ్లతో కొట్టవలెను. తమ శిక్షకు తామే కారకులు.

27. And as touching man or woman, when there shall be in them a familiar spirit, or the spirit of an circle, they shall, surely be put to death, with stones, shall they be stoned their blood, shall be upon themselves.
