1. యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. Then came the word of Yahweh. unto me saying,

2. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పర్వతములతట్టు చూచి వాటివిషయమై యీ మాటలు ప్రక టించుము

2. Son of man, Set thy face against the mountains of Israel, and prophesy unto them;

3. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పర్వతములారా, ప్రభువైన యెహోవా మాట ఆలకించుడి; పర్వతములతోను కొండలతోను వాగులతోను లోయలతోను ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుఇదిగో నేను నిజముగా మీ మీదికి ఖడ్గమును రప్పించి మీ ఉన్నత స్థల ములను నాశనము చేసెదను.

3. and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear ye the word of My Lord Yahweh, Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh- To the mountains and to the hills to the hollows and to the valleys, Behold me! I, am bringing upon you a sword, And I will destroy your high places;

4. మీ బలిపీఠములు పాడై పోవును, సూర్యదేవతకు నిలిపిన స్తంభములు ఛిన్నా భిన్న ములవును, మీ బొమ్మల యెదుట మీ జనులను నేను హతము చేసెదను.

4. And your altars shall be laid waste, And your sun-pillars shall be broken in pieces, And I will cause your slain to fall before your manufactured gods;

5. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కళేబరములను వారి బొమ్మలయెదుట పడవేసి, మీ యెముకలను మీ బలి పీఠములచుట్టు పారవేయుదును.

5. And I will lay the carcases of the sons of Israel before their manufactured gods, And will scatter your bones round about your altars.

6. నేనే యెహోవానై యున్నానని మీరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు మీ బలిపీఠములు విడువబడి పాడైపోవును, మీ విగ్రహములు ఛిన్నా భిన్న ములగును, సూర్య దేవతకు మీరు నిలిపిన స్తంభములు పడగొట్టబడును, మీ పనులు నాశనమగును, మీ నివాస స్థలములన్నిటిలో నున్న మీ పట్టణములు పాడైపోవును, మీ ఉన్నత స్థలములు విడువబడును,

6. In all your dwelling-places, the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places, shall be made desolate, To the end your altar may be laid waste and become desolate. And your manufactured gods be broken in pieces and cease, And your sun-pillars be cut down, And your handiworks be abolished.

7. మీ జనులు హతులై కూలుదురు.

7. And the slain shall fall in your midst, So shall ye nod that I a Yahweh.

8. అయినను మీరు ఆ యా దేశములలో చెదరిపోవునప్పుడు ఖడ్గమును తప్పించుకొను కొందరిని నేను మీలో శేషముగా అన్యజనులమధ్య ఉండనిచ్చెదను.

8. Yet will I leave a remnant: In that ye shall have such as are escaped of the sword throughout the nations, when ye are scattered throughout the lands.

9. మరియు నన్ను విసర్జించినవారి విశ్వాస ఘాతక మైన వ్యభిచారమనస్సును, విగ్రహముల ననుసరించిన వ్యభిచారదృష్టిని నేను మార్చి నాతట్టు తిరుగజేయగా, చెరపట్టబడినవారై శేషించినవారు అన్యజనులమధ్య నన్ను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొని, తామనుసరించిన హేయకృత్యము లన్నిటినిబట్టి తాము చేసిన దుష్క్రియలను కనుగొని తమ్మును తామే అసహ్యించుకొనుచు

9. Then shall they who have escaped of you remember me, among the nations whither they have been carried captive, In that I have broken their adulterous heart, which hath turned aside from me, And their eyes which have adulterously gone after their manufactured gods, So shall they become loathsome in their own sight, for the wicked things which they have done in all their abominations.

10. నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు; ఈ కీడు వారికి చేసెదనని నేను చెప్పినమాట వ్యర్థము కాదు.

10. Then shall they know that, I, Yahweh, not in vain, had threatened to bring upon them this calamity.

11. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నీ చేతులు చరిచి నేల తన్ని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దుష్టమైన హేయకృత్యములనుబట్టి అయ్యో అని అంగలార్చుము; ఖడ్గముచేతను క్షామముచేతను తెగులుచేతను వారు కూలుదురు.

11. Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Smite with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot and say, Alas! regarding all the wicked abominations of the house of Israel, in that by sword, by famine, and by pestilence, shall they fall:

12. దూరముననున్న వారు తెగులుచేత చత్తురు, దగ్గర నున్నవారు ఖడ్గముచేత కూలుదురు, శేషించి ముట్టడి వేయబడినవారు క్షామముచేత చత్తురు; ఈ ప్రకారము నేను వారి మీద నా క్రోధము తీర్చుకొందును.

12. He that is far off by pestilence, shall die and He that is near by the sword, shall fall, and He that is left and is besieged by the famine, shall die; Thus will I make an end of mine indignation against them.

13. తమ విగ్రహముల మధ్యను తాము కట్టిన బలిపీఠములచుట్టును ఎత్తయిన కొండలన్నిటిమీదను సకల పర్వతముల నడి కొప్పులమీదను పచ్చని చెట్లన్నిటి క్రిందను, పుష్టిపారిన మస్తకి వృక్షములన్నిటి క్రిందను, తమ విగ్రహములన్నిటికి పరిమళ ధూపమువేసిన చోటులన్నిటిలోను పడి వారి జనులు హతులైయుండు కాలమున నేనే యెహోవానై యున్నానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

13. So shall ye know that I, am Yahweh, In that their slain are in the midst of their manufactured gods, on every side of their altars, Upon every high hl In all the tops of the mountains and Under every green tree and Under every tangled oak, The place where they offered a satisfying odour to all their manufactured gods.

14. నేను వారికి విరోధినై వారు నివసించు స్థలములన్నిటిలో వారి దేశమును దిబ్లాతు అరణ్యము కంటె మరి నిర్జనముగాను పాడుగానుచేయగా నేనే యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

14. Thus will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land a greater waste and devastation than the desert toward Diblah throughout all their dwelling-places, And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
