1. యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. Then the word of the Lord came to me again.

2. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పర్వతములతట్టు చూచి వాటివిషయమై యీ మాటలు ప్రక టించుము

2. He said, 'Son of man, turn toward the mountains of Israel. Speak against them for me.

3. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పర్వతములారా, ప్రభువైన యెహోవా మాట ఆలకించుడి; పర్వతములతోను కొండలతోను వాగులతోను లోయలతోను ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుఇదిగో నేను నిజముగా మీ మీదికి ఖడ్గమును రప్పించి మీ ఉన్నత స్థల ములను నాశనము చేసెదను.

3. Tell the mountains this: ''Mountains of Israel, listen to this message from the Lord God! The Lord God says these things to the hills and mountains and to the ravines and valleys. Look! I am bringing the enemy to fight against you. I will destroy your high places.

4. మీ బలిపీఠములు పాడై పోవును, సూర్యదేవతకు నిలిపిన స్తంభములు ఛిన్నా భిన్న ములవును, మీ బొమ్మల యెదుట మీ జనులను నేను హతము చేసెదను.

4. Your altars will be broken into pieces. Your incense altars will be smashed, and I will throw down your dead bodies in front of your filthy idols.

5. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కళేబరములను వారి బొమ్మలయెదుట పడవేసి, మీ యెముకలను మీ బలి పీఠములచుట్టు పారవేయుదును.

5. I will put the dead bodies of the people of Israel in front of their filthy idols. I will scatter your bones around your altars.

6. నేనే యెహోవానై యున్నానని మీరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు మీ బలిపీఠములు విడువబడి పాడైపోవును, మీ విగ్రహములు ఛిన్నా భిన్న ములగును, సూర్య దేవతకు మీరు నిలిపిన స్తంభములు పడగొట్టబడును, మీ పనులు నాశనమగును, మీ నివాస స్థలములన్నిటిలో నున్న మీ పట్టణములు పాడైపోవును, మీ ఉన్నత స్థలములు విడువబడును,

6. Bad things will happen wherever your people live. Their cities will become piles of rock. Their high places will be destroyed, so those places of worship will never be used again. The altars will all be destroyed. People will never worship those filthy idols again. The incense altars will be smashed. Everything you made will be destroyed completely.

7. మీ జనులు హతులై కూలుదురు.

7. Your people will be killed, and then you will know that I am the Lord!''

8. అయినను మీరు ఆ యా దేశములలో చెదరిపోవునప్పుడు ఖడ్గమును తప్పించుకొను కొందరిని నేను మీలో శేషముగా అన్యజనులమధ్య ఉండనిచ్చెదను.

8. God said, 'But I will let a few of your people escape. They will live in other countries for a short time. I will scatter them and force them to live in other countries.

9. మరియు నన్ను విసర్జించినవారి విశ్వాస ఘాతక మైన వ్యభిచారమనస్సును, విగ్రహముల ననుసరించిన వ్యభిచారదృష్టిని నేను మార్చి నాతట్టు తిరుగజేయగా, చెరపట్టబడినవారై శేషించినవారు అన్యజనులమధ్య నన్ను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొని, తామనుసరించిన హేయకృత్యము లన్నిటినిబట్టి తాము చేసిన దుష్క్రియలను కనుగొని తమ్మును తామే అసహ్యించుకొనుచు

9. Then the survivors will be taken prisoners. They will be forced to live in other countries, but they will remember me. I broke their spirit. They will hate themselves for the evil things they did. In the past, they turned away from me and left me. They chased after their filthy idols. They were like a woman leaving her husband and running off with another man. They did many terrible things,

10. నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు; ఈ కీడు వారికి చేసెదనని నేను చెప్పినమాట వ్యర్థము కాదు.

10. but they will learn that I am the Lord. Then they will know that if I say that I will do something, I will do it! They will know that I caused all of the troubles that happened to them.'

11. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నీ చేతులు చరిచి నేల తన్ని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దుష్టమైన హేయకృత్యములనుబట్టి అయ్యో అని అంగలార్చుము; ఖడ్గముచేతను క్షామముచేతను తెగులుచేతను వారు కూలుదురు.

11. Then the Lord God said to me, 'Clap your hands and stamp your feet. Speak against all the terrible things that the people of Israel have done. Warn them that they will be killed by disease and hunger. Tell them they will be killed in war.

12. దూరముననున్న వారు తెగులుచేత చత్తురు, దగ్గర నున్నవారు ఖడ్గముచేత కూలుదురు, శేషించి ముట్టడి వేయబడినవారు క్షామముచేత చత్తురు; ఈ ప్రకారము నేను వారి మీద నా క్రోధము తీర్చుకొందును.

12. People far away will die from disease. People near this place will be killed with swords, and those who are left in the city will starve to death. Only then will I stop being angry.

13. తమ విగ్రహముల మధ్యను తాము కట్టిన బలిపీఠములచుట్టును ఎత్తయిన కొండలన్నిటిమీదను సకల పర్వతముల నడి కొప్పులమీదను పచ్చని చెట్లన్నిటి క్రిందను, పుష్టిపారిన మస్తకి వృక్షములన్నిటి క్రిందను, తమ విగ్రహములన్నిటికి పరిమళ ధూపమువేసిన చోటులన్నిటిలోను పడి వారి జనులు హతులైయుండు కాలమున నేనే యెహోవానై యున్నానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

13. Only then will you know that I am the Lord. You will know this when you see your dead bodies in front of your filthy idols and around their altars. Those bodies will be near every one of your places for worship, on every high hill and mountain, under every green tree and every oak tree with leaves. You offered your sacrifices everywhere. They were a sweet smell for your filthy idols.

14. నేను వారికి విరోధినై వారు నివసించు స్థలములన్నిటిలో వారి దేశమును దిబ్లాతు అరణ్యము కంటె మరి నిర్జనముగాను పాడుగానుచేయగా నేనే యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

14. But I will raise my arm over you and punish you and your people, wherever they live! I will destroy your country! It will be emptier than Diblah Desert. Then they will know that I am the Lord!'
