1. మరియు నరపుత్రుడా, నీవు మంగలకత్తివంటి వాడిగల కత్తియొకటి తీసికొని నీ తలను గడ్డమును క్షౌరముచేసికొని, త్రాసు తీసికొని ఆ వెండ్రుకలను తూచి భాగములు చేయుము.

1. And thou sonne of man, take thee a sharpe knife, or take thee a barbours rasor and cause it to passe vpon thine head, and vpon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and deuide the heare.

2. పట్టణమును ముట్టడి వేసిన దినములు సంపూర్ణమైనప్పుడు నీవు పట్టణములో వాటి మూడవ భాగమును కాల్చి, రెండవ భాగమును తీసి ఖడ్గముచేత హతముచేయు రీతిగా దానిని చుట్టు విసిరికొట్టి మిగిలిన భాగము గాలికి ఎగిరిపోనిమ్ము; నేను ఖడ్గముదూసి వాటిని తరుముదును.

2. Thou shalt burne with fire the thirde part in the middes of the citie, when the dayes of the siege are fulfilled, and thou shalt take the other thirde part, and smite about it with a knife, and the last thirde part thou shalt scatter in the winde, and I will drawe out a sworde after them.

3. అయితే వాటిలో కొన్నిటిని తీసికొని నీ చెంగున కట్టుకొనుము;

3. Thou shalt also take thereof a fewe in nomber, and binde them in thy lappe.

4. పిమ్మట వాటిలో కొన్నిటిని మరల తీసి అగ్నిలోవేసి కాల్చుము; దానినుండి అగ్ని బయలుదేరి ఇశ్రాయేలు వారినందరిని తగులబెట్టును.

4. Then take of them againe and cast them into the middes of the fire, and burne them in the fire: for thereof shall a fire come foorth into all the house of Israel.

5. మరియు ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను ఇది యెరూషలేమే గదా, అన్యజనులమధ్య నేను దాని నుంచితిని, దానిచుట్టు రాజ్యములున్నవి.

5. Thus saith the Lord God, This is Ierusalem: I haue set it in the middes of the nations and countreyes, that are rounde about her.

6. అయితే వారు నా విధులను తృణీకరించి, నా కట్టడల ననుసరింపక దుర్మార్గత ననుసరించుచు, నా విధులను కట్టడలను త్రోసి వేసి తమ చుట్టునున్న అన్యజనుల కంటెను దేశస్థులకంటెను మరి యధికముగా దుర్మార్గులైరి

6. And she hath changed my iudgements into wickednes more then the nations, and my statutes more then the countreis, that are round about her: for they haue refused my iudgemets and my statutes, and they haue not walked in them.

7. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నా కట్టడల ననుసరింపకయు నా విధులను గైకొనకయు నుండువారై, మీ చుట్టునున్న అన్యజనులకు కలిగియున్న విధులనైనను అనుసరింపక, మీరు మీ చుట్టునున్న దేశస్థులకంటె మరి యధికముగా కఠినహృదయులైతిరి.

7. Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Because your multitude is greater then the nations that are rounde about you, and ye haue not walked in my statutes, neither haue ye kept my iudgements: no, ye haue not done according to the iudgements of the nations, that are rounde about you,

8. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవానగు నేను నీకు విరోధినైతిని, అన్యజనులు చూచుచుండగా నీకు శిక్ష విధింతును.

8. Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, I, euen I come against thee, and will execute iudgement in the middes of thee, euen in the sight of the nations.

9. నీ హేయ కృత్యములను బట్టి పూర్వమందు నేను చేయనికార్యమును, ఇక మీదట నేను చేయబూనుకొనని కార్యమును నీ మధ్య జరిగింతును.

9. And I will doe in thee, that I neuer did before, neither will do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

10. కావున నీ మధ్య తండ్రులు తమ కుమారులను భక్షింతురు, కుమారులు తమ తండ్రులను భక్షింతురు, ఈ ప్రకారము నేను నీకు శిక్ష విధించి నీలో శేషించిన వారిని నలుదిశల చెదరగొట్టుదును.

10. For in the middes of thee, the fathers shall eate their sonnes, and the sonnes shall eate their fathers, and I will execute iudgement in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the windes.

11. నీ హేయదేవత లన్నిటిని పూజించి నీవు చేసిన హేయమైన క్రియలన్నిటి చేత నా పరిశుద్ధస్థలమును అపవిత్ర పరచితివి గనుక కరుణా దృష్టియైనను జాలియైనను లేక నేను నిన్ను క్షీణింప జేసెదనని నా జీవముతోడు ప్రమాణము చేయుచున్నాను; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు

11. Wherefore, as I liue, saith the Lord God, Surely because thou hast defiled my Sanctuarie with all thy filthinesse, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also destroy thee, neither shall mine eye spare thee, neither will I haue any pitie.

12. కరవు వచ్చి యుండగా నీలో మూడవ భాగము తెగులుచేత మరణ మవును, మూడవ భాగము ఖడ్గముచేత నీ చుట్టు కూలును, నేను కత్తి దూసిి మిగిలిన భాగమును నలుదిశల చెదరగొట్టి తరుముదును.
ప్రకటన గ్రంథం 6:8

12. The third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they bee consumed in the middes of thee: and another third part shall fall by the sword round about thee: and I will scatter the last third part into all windes, and I will drawe out a sword after them.

13. నా కోపము తీరును, వారిమీద నా ఉగ్రత తీర్చుకొని నన్ను ఓదార్చుకొందును, నేను వారి మీద నా ఉగ్రత తీర్చుకొనుకాలమున యెహోవానైన నేను ఆసక్తిగలవాడనై ఆలాగు సెలవిచ్చితినని వారు తెలిసి కొందురు

13. Thus shall mine anger bee accomplished, and I will cause my wrath to cease in them, and I will be comforted: and they shall knowe, that I the Lord haue spoke it in my zeale, when I haue accomplished my wrath in them.

14. ఆలాగు నీ చుట్టునున్న అన్యజనులలో నిన్ను చూచు వారందరి దృష్టికి పాడుగాను నిందాస్పదముగాను నేను నిన్ను చేయుదును.

14. Moreouer, I will make thee waste, and abhorred among the nations, that are round about thee, and in the sight of all that passe by.

15. కావున నీ పోషణాధారము తీసివేసి, నీమీదికి నేను మహా క్షామము రప్పించి, నీవారు క్షయమగునట్లుగా వారిని క్షయపరచు మహాక్షామమును పంపించి, కోపముచేతను క్రోధముచేతను కఠినమైన గద్దింపులచేతను నేను నిన్ను శిక్షింపగా

15. So thou shalt bee a reproche and shame, a chastisement and an astonishment vnto the nations, that are rounde about thee, when I shall execute iudgements in thee, in anger and in wrath, and in sharpe rebukes: I the Lord haue spoken it.

16. నీ చుట్టునున్న అన్య జనులకు నీవు నిందకును ఎగతాళికిని హెచ్చరికకును విస్మయ మునకును ఆస్పదముగా ఉందువు; యెహోవానగు నేనే ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చియున్నాను.

16. When I shall sende vpon them the euill arrowes of famine, which shalbe for their destruction, and which I will sende to destroy you: and I will encrease the famine vpon you, and wil breake your staffe of bread.

17. ఈ ప్రకారము నేను నీమీదికి క్షామమును దుష్టమృగములను పంపుదును, అవి నీకు పుత్ర హీనత కలుగజేయును, తెగులును ప్రాణహానియు నీకు కలుగును, మరియు నీమీదికి ఖడ్గమును రప్పించెదను; యెహోవానగు నేనే యీలాగు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చుచున్నాను.

17. So will I send vpon you famine, and euill beastes, and they shall spoyle thee, and pestilence and blood shall passe through thee, and I will bring the sworde vpon thee: I the Lord haue spoken it.
