1. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

1. And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:

2. నరపుత్రుడా, నీవు నీ జనులకు సమాచారము ప్రకటించి వారితో ఇట్లనుము నేను ఒకానొక దేశముమీదికి ఖడ్గమును రప్పింపగా ఆ జనులు తమలో ఒకనిని ఏర్పరచుకొని కావలిగా నిర్ణయించిన యెడల

2. Son of man Speak unto the sons of thy people and thou shalt say unto them, A land when I bring upon it a sword, And the people of the land shall take one man out of their whole number, and appoint him for them, as watchman;

3. అతడు దేశముమీదికి ఖడ్గము వచ్చుట చూచి, బాకా ఊది జనులను హెచ్చరిక చేసిన సమయమున

3. And he shall see the sword coming upon the land, and shall blow with the born and warn the people

4. ఎవడైనను బాకానాదము వినియును జాగ్రత్తపడనందున ఖడ్గమువచ్చి వాని ప్రాణము తీసినయెడల వాడు తన ప్రాణమునకు తానే ఉత్తరవాది

4. Then as for him who really heard the sound of the horn and took not warning, The sword indeed hath come and taken him away, His blood, upon his own head shall remain:

5. బాకానాదము విని యును వాడు జాగ్రత్తపడకపోయెను గనుక తన ప్రాణమునకు తానే ఉత్తరవాది; ఏలయనగా వాడు జాగ్రత్తపడిన యెడల తనప్రాణమును రక్షించుకొనును.

5. The sound of the horn, he heard, but took not warning, His blood, upon himself shall remain, Whereas had he taken warning, his own soul, he should have delivered.

6. అయితే కావలి వాడు ఖడ్గము వచ్చుట చూచియు, బాకా ఊదనందు చేత జనులు అజాగ్రత్తగా ఉండుటయు, ఖడ్గము వచ్చి వారిలో ఒకని ప్రాణము తీయుటయు తటస్థించిన యెడల వాడు తన దోషమును బట్టి పట్టబడినను, నేను కావలివానియొద్ద వాని ప్రాణమునుగూర్చి విచారణచేయు దును.

6. But as for the watchman-When he seeth the sword coming. And hath not blown with the horn. And the people, have not been warned, And the sword, hath come and taken away from among them any person he, for his iniquity, hath been taken away, But his blood at the hand of the watchman will I require.

7. నరపుత్రుడా, నేను నిన్ను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు కావలివానిగా నియమించియున్నాను గనుక నీవు నా నోటిమాటను విని నాకు ప్రతిగా వారిని హెచ్చరిక చేయవలెను.

7. Thou therefore Son of man, A watchman, have I appointed thee, to the house of Israel, So then thou shalt hear at my mouth. message, and shalt warn them from me.

8. దుర్మార్గుడా, నీవు నిశ్చయముగా మరణము నొందుదువు అని దుర్మార్గునికి నేను సెలవియ్యగా, అతడు తన దుర్మార్గతను విడిచి జాగ్రత్తపడునట్లు నీవు ఆ దుర్మార్గునికి నా మాట తెలియజేయని యెడల ఆ దుర్మార్గుడు తన దోషమునుబట్టి మరణము నొందును గాని అతని ప్రాణమునుగూర్చి నిన్ను విచారణచేయుదును.

8. When I say to the lawless man O lawless man thou shalt surely die, And thou have not spoken to warn the lawless man from his way He the lawless man for his iniquity shall die, But his blood- at thy hand- will I demand.

9. అయితే ఆ దుర్మార్గుడు తన దుర్మార్గతను విడువవలెనని నీవు అతనిని హెచ్చరిక చేయగా అతడు తన దుర్మార్గతను విడువనియెడల అతడు తన దోషమునుబట్టి మరణము నొందును గాని నీవు నీ ప్రాణము దక్కించుకొందువు.

9. But as for thyself When thou hast warned a lawless man from his way, to turn therefrom, And he hath not turned from his way He, for his own iniquity shall die, But thou hast delivered thine own life,

10. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఈ మాట ప్రకటింపుము మా పాపదోషములు మామీద పడియున్నవి, వాటివలన మేము క్షీణించుచున్నాము, మనమెట్లు బ్రదకుదుమని మీరు చెప్పుకొనుమాట నిజమే.

10. Thou, therefore, Son of man, Say unto the house of Israel, Thus, have ye spoken saying: When our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and for them, we are melting away How then can we live?

11. కాగా వారితో ఇట్లనుము నా జీవముతోడు దుర్మార్గుడు మరణము నొందుటవలన నాకు సంతోషము లేదు; దుర్మార్గుడు తన దుర్మార్గతనుండి మరలి బ్రదుకుటవలన నాకు సంతోషము కలుగును. కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మనస్సు త్రిప్పుకొనుడి, మీ దుర్మార్గతనుండి మరలి మనస్సు త్రిప్పు కొనుడి, మీరెందుకు మరణము నొందుదురు? ఇదే ప్రభు వగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

11. Say unto them, As I live, Declareth My Lord Yahweh, Surely, I can take no pleasure in the death of the lawless man, But that the lawless man turn from his way, and live, Turn ye, turn ye, from your wicked ways, For wherefore should ye die. O house of Israel?

12. మరియు నరపుత్రుడా, నీవు నీ జనులకు ఈ మాట తెలియజేయుము నీతిమంతుడు పాపము చేసిన దినమున అదివరకు అతడు అనుసరించిన నీతి అతని విడిపింపదు. దుష్టుడు చెడుతనము విడిచి మనస్సు త్రిప్పుకొనిన దినమున తాను చేసియున్న చెడు తనమునుబట్టి వాడు పడిపోడు, ఆలాగుననే నీతిమంతుడు పాపముచేసిన దినమున తన నీతినిబట్టి అతడు బ్రదుక జాలడు.

12. Thou, therefore, Son of man Say unto the sons of thy people The righteousness of the righteous man, shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression, And as for the lawlessness of the lawless man, He shall not stumble thereby, in the day of his return from his lawlessness, Nor shall the righteous man be able to live thereby, in the day of his sin.

13. నీతిమంతుడు నిజముగా బ్రదుకునని నేను చెప్పినందున అతడు తన నీతిని ఆధారముచేసికొని పాపము చేసినయెడల అతని నీతి క్రియలన్నిటిలో ఏదియు జ్ఞాపకమునకు తేబడదు, తాను చేసిన పాపమునుబట్టి యతడు మరణము నొందును.

13. When I say of the righteous man He shall surely live but he hath trusted in his righteousness and committed perversity None of his righteous deeds shall be mentioned, But by his perversity which he hath committed thereby, shall he die.

14. మరియు నిజముగా మరణము నొందుదువని దుర్మార్గునికి నేను సెలవియ్యగా అతడు తన పాపము విడిచి, నీతి న్యాయములను అనుస రించుచు

14. And when I say to the lawless man Thou shalt surely die, but he shall turn from his sin, and do justice and righteousness:

15. కుదువసొమ్మును మరల అప్పగించుచు, తాను దొంగిలినదానిని మరల ఇచ్చివేసి పాపము జరిగింపక యుండి, జీవాధారములగు కట్టడలను అనుసరించినయెడల అతడు మరణము నొందక అవశ్యముగా బ్రదుకును.

15. The debt-pledge, the lawless man shall restore Plunder, shall pay back, In the statutes of life, hath walked, so as not to commit perversity. He shall surely live he shall not die:

16. అతడు చేసిన పాపములలో ఏదియు అతని విషయమై జ్ఞాపకమునకు తేబడదు, అతడు నీతిన్యాయములను అనుసరించెను గనుక నిశ్చయముగా అతడు బ్రదుకును.

16. None of his sins which he hath committed shall be called to mind against him, Justice and righteousness, hath he done He shall surely live.

17. అయినను నీ జనులు యెహోవా మార్గము న్యాయము కాదని యనుకొందురు; అయితే వారి ప్రవర్తనయే గదా అన్యాయ మైనది?

17. And can the sons of thy people say, The way of The Lord will not be equal? Nay! but as for them, their way will not be equal!

18. నీతిమంతుడు తన నీతిని విడిచి, పాపము చేసిన యెడల ఆ పాపమునుబట్టి అతడు మరణము నొందును.

18. When the righteous man shall turn from his righteousness and commit perversity Then shall he die for them;

19. మరియు దుర్మార్గుడు తన దుర్మార్గతను విడిచి నీతిన్యాయములను అనుసరించినయెడల వాటినిబట్టి అతడు బ్రదుకును.

19. But when the lawless man shall turn from his lawlessness, and do justice and righteousness Upon them, shall he live.

20. యెహోవా మార్గము న్యాయము కాదని మీరనుకొనుచున్నారే; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మీలో ఎవని ప్రవర్తననుబట్టి వానికి శిక్ష విధించెదను.

20. And can ye then say, The way of The Lord will not be equal? Every man according to his own ways so will I judge you O house of Israel?

21. మనము చెరలోనికి వచ్చిన పండ్రెండవ సంవత్సరము పదియవ నెల అయిదవ దినమున ఒకడు యెరూషలేములో నుండి తప్పించుకొని నాయొద్దకు వచ్చి పట్టణము కొల్ల పెట్టబడెనని తెలియజేసెను.

21. And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the tenth month on the fifth of the month of our exe, that there came unto me one that had escaped out of Jerusalem saying. Smitten is the city!

22. తప్పించుకొనినవాడు వచ్చిన వెనుకటి సాయంత్రమున యెహోవా హస్తము నామీదికి వచ్చెను; ఉదయమున అతడు నాయొద్దకు రాకమునుపే యెహోవా నా నోరు తెరవగా పలుకుటకు నాకు శక్తి కలిగెను, అప్పటినుండి నేను మౌనిని కాకయుంటిని.

22. Now the hand of Yahweh, had come unto me in the evening, before the coining of him who had escaped, and he had opened my mouth, by the time that he came to me in the morning, so my mouth I was opened, and I was dumb no longer.

23. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

23. Then came the word of Yahweh unto me saying:

24. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశములో పాడైపోయిన ఆ యా చోట్లను కాపురమున్న వారు అబ్రాహాము ఒంటరియై యీ దేశమును స్వాస్థ్యముగా పొందెను గదా; అనేకులమైన మనకును ఈ దేశము స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇయ్యబడదా అని అనుకొనుచున్నారు.

24. Son of man These inhabitants of waste places on the so of Israel are saying thus, One, was Abraham. Yet he inherited the land, But, we, are many, To us, is the land given as an inheritance.

25. కాబట్టి వారికీ మాట ప్రకటనచేయుము ప్రభువగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా రక్తము ఓడ్చి వేయక మాంసము భుజించు మీరు, మీ విగ్రహముల వైపు దృష్టియుంచు మీరు, నరహత్యచేయు మీరు, ఈ దేశమును స్వతంత్రించుకొందురా?

25. Wherefore say unto them Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh. -With the blood, ye do eat. And your eyes, ye do lift up unto your manufactured gods. And blood, ye do shed; And the land, shall ye inherit?

26. మీరు ఖడ్గము నాధారము చేసికొను వారు, హేయక్రియలు జరిగించు వారు, పొరుగువాని భార్యను చెరుపువారు; మీవంటి వారు దేశమును స్వతంత్రించుకొందురా? నీవీలాగున వారికి చెప్పుము ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా

26. Ye men have taken your stand by your sword. Ye women have wrought abomination, And every man with the wife of his neighbour, have ye defiled yourselves; And the land, shall ye inherit?

27. నా జీవముతోడు పాడైపోయిన స్థలములలో ఉండువారు ఖడ్గముచేత కూలుదురు, బయట పొలములో ఉండు వారిని నేను మృగములకు ఆహారముగా ఇచ్చెదను, కోటలలోనివారును గుహలలోనివారును తెగులుచేత చచ్చెదరు.
ప్రకటన గ్రంథం 6:8

27. Thus shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, As I live, surely, they who are in the waste places by the sword, shall fall, And him who is on the face of the field to the wild beast, have I given to be devoured, And they who are in the mountain holds and in the pits :by pestilence, shall die;

28. ఆ దేశమును నిర్జనముగాను పాడుగానుచేసి దాని బలాతిశయమును మాన్పించెదను, ఎవరును వాటిలో సంచరింపకుండ ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మన్యములు పాడవును.

28. And I will make the land a desolation and an astonishment, So shall be made to cease the pride of her strength, And the mountains of Israel shall be too desolate for any to pass through.

29. వారు చేసిన హేయక్రియలన్నిటినిబట్టి వారి దేశమును పాడుగాను నిర్జనముగాను నేను చేయగా నేనే యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

29. So shall they know that I, am Yahweh, When I makes the land a desolation and an astonishment, because of all their abominations which they have committed.

30. మరియు నరపుత్రుడా; నీ జనుల గోడదగ్గరను ఇంటి ద్వారము లందును నిలువబడి నిన్ను గూర్చి మాటలాడుదురు, ఒకరి నొకరు చూచిపోదము రండి, యెహోవాయొద్దనుండి బయలుదేరు మాట యెట్టిదో చూతము రండి అని చెప్పు కొనుచున్నారు.

30. Thou therefore Son of man, the sons of thy people who are talking against thee Near the walls and in the entrances of the houses, are speaking one with another, every man with his brother saying. Come in we pray you and heat, what is the word that is coming forth from Yahweh;

31. నా జనులు రాదగిన విధముగా వారు నీయొద్దకు వచ్చి, నా జనులైనట్టుగా నీ యెదుట కూర్చుండి నీ మాటలు విందురు గాని వాటి ననుసరించి ప్రవర్తింపరు, వారు నోటితో ఎంతో ప్రేమ కనుపరచుదురు గాని వారి హృదయము లాభమును అపేక్షించు చున్నది.

31. That they may come unto thee as people do come And may sit before thee as my people, And they will hear thy words, But the, words themselves, they not do, though fond with their mouths, they seem to be, After their unjust gain, their heart is going.

32. నీవు వారికి వాద్యము బాగుగా వాయించుచు మంచి స్వరము కలిగిన గాయకుడవుగా ఉన్నావు, వారు నీ మాటలు విందురు గాని వాటిని అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనరు.

32. And lo! thou art to them As a bewitching song, Of one with a beautiful voice. And skilfully touching the strings, So will they hear thy words, And yet be going to do none of them.

33. అయినను ఆ మాట నెరవేరును, అది నెరవేరగా ప్రవక్త యొకడు తమ మధ్యనుండెనని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

33. But when it cometh Lo! it is coming, Then shall they know that a prophet hath been in their midst.
