1. IN THE twelfth year [after King Jehoiachin of Judah was taken into exile by the king of Babylon], in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

2. నరపుత్రుడా, ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరోనుగూర్చి అంగలార్పు వచనమెత్తి అతనికి ఈ మాట ప్రకటింపుము జనములలో కొదమ సింహమువంటివాడవని నీవు ఎంచబడితివి, జలములలో మొసలివంటివాడవై నీ నదులలో రేగుచు నీ కాళ్లతో నీళ్లు కలియబెట్టితివి, వాటి వాగులను బురదగా చేసితివి.

2. Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him, You have likened [yourself] to a young lion, leader of the nations, but you are like a [monster] dragon in the seas; you break forth in your rivers and trouble the waters with your feet, and you make foul their rivers [the sources of their prosperity].

3. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా గుంపులు గుంపులుగా జనములను సమకూర్చి నేను నా వలను నీమీద వేయగా వారు నా వలలో చిక్కిన నిన్ను బయటికి లాగెదరు.

3. Thus says the Lord God: I will therefore throw out My net over you with a host of many peoples, and they shall bring you up in My dragnet.

4. నేను నిన్ను నేల పడవేసి తెరపనేలమీద పారవేసెదను, ఆకాశపక్షులన్నియు నీమీద వ్రాలునట్లుచేసి నీవలన భూజంతువులన్నిటిని కడుపార తిననిచ్చెదను,

4. Then I will leave you [Egypt] upon the shore; I will cast you on the open field and will cause all the birds of the heavens to settle upon you, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with you.

5. నీ మాంసమును పర్వతములమీద వేసెదను, లోయలన్నిటిని నీ కళే బరములతో నింపెదను.

5. And I will scatter your flesh upon the mountains and fill the valleys with your high heap of corpses and their worms.

6. మరియు భూమిని నీ రక్తధారచేత పర్వతములవరకు నేను తడుపుదును, లోయలు నీతో నింపబడును.

6. I will also water with your flowing blood the land, even to the mountains, and the hollows and water channels shall be full of you.

7. నేను నిన్ను ఆర్పివేసి ఆకాశమండలమును మరుగు చేసెదను, నక్షత్రములను చీకటి కమ్మజేసెదను, సూర్యుని మబ్బుచేత కప్పెదను, చంద్రుడు వెన్నెల కాయకపోవును.

7. And when I have extinguished you, I will cover the heavens [of Egypt] and make their stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud and the moon shall not give her light.

8. నిన్నుబట్టి ఆకాశమందు ప్రకాశించు జ్యోతుల కన్నిటికిని అంధకారము కమ్మజేసెదను, నీ దేశము మీద గాఢాంధకారము వ్యాపింపజేసెదను; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

8. All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you and set darkness upon your land, says the Lord God.

9. నీవు ఎరుగని దేశములలోనికి నేను నిన్ను వెళ్లగొట్టి, జనములలో నీకు సమూలధ్వంసము కలుగజేసి బహు జనములకు కోపము పుట్టింతును,

9. I will also trouble and vex the hearts of many peoples when I bring your breaking and trembling and destruction and carry you captive among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.

10. నా ఖడ్గమును నేను వారిమీద ఝళిపించెదను, నిన్నుబట్టి చాలమంది జనులు కలవరించుదురు, వారి రాజులును నిన్నుబట్టి భీతులగుదురు, నీవు కూలు దినమున వారందరును ఎడతెగక ప్రాణభయముచేత వణకుదురు.

10. I will make many peoples amazed and appalled at you [Egypt], and their kings shall shudder and be horribly afraid because of you when I brandish My sword before them; they shall tremble every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your downfall.

11. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగాబబులోనురాజు ఖడ్గము నీమీదికి వచ్చును,

11. For thus says the Lord God: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you.

12. శూరుల ఖడ్గములచేత నేను నీ సైన్యమును కూల్చెదను, వారందరును జనములలో భయంకరులు; ఐగుప్తీయుల గర్వము నణచివేయగా దాని సైన్యమంతయు లయమగును.

12. I will cause your multitude, your tumult, and your store [of wealth, strength, and glory] to fall by the swords of the mighty--the most terrible among the nations are they all. And they shall bring to nothing the pomp and pride of Egypt, and all its multitude [with its activity and its wealth in every sphere] shall be destroyed.

13. మరియు గొప్పప్రవాహముల దరినున్న పశువులనన్నిటిని నేను లయపరచెదను, నరుని కాలైనను పశువుకాలైనను వాటిని కదలింపకయుండును.

13. I will destroy also all its beasts from beside many and great waters, and no foot of man shall trouble them any more, nor shall the hoofs of beasts trouble them.

14. అప్పుడు నేను వాటి నీళ్లు తొణకకుండజేసి తైలము పారునట్లు వారి నదులను పారజేసెదను; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

14. Then will I make their waters sink down (subside, be quiet, and become clear); their rivers I will cause to run [slowly and smoothly] like oil, says the Lord God.

15. నేను ఐగుప్తు దేశమును పాడు చేసి అందులోని సమస్తమును నాశనము చేసి దాని నివాసులనందరిని నిర్మూలముచేయగా నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

15. When I make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country is stripped and destitute of all that of which it was full when I smite all those who dwell in it, then will they know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord [the Sovereign Ruler, Who requires and calls forth loyalty and obedient service].

16. ఇది అంగలార్పు వచనము, వారు దానిని యెత్తి పాడుదురు, అన్యజనుల కుమార్తెలు దానిని యెత్తి పాడుదురు; ఐగుప్తును గూర్చియు అందులోని సమూహమును గూర్చియు ఆ వచనమెత్తి వారు పాడుదురు; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

16. This is the lamentation with which they shall intone or chant the lament for her; the daughters of the nations shall chant their lament with it; over Egypt and over all her multitude, her tumult, and her wealth in every sphere shall they chant it, says the Lord God.

17. పండ్రెండవ సంవత్సరము నెల పదునైదవ దినమున యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

17. In the twelfth year [after King Jehoiachin of Judah was taken into exile], on the fifteenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

18. నరపుత్రుడా, అల్లరిచేయు ఐగుప్తీయుల సమూహమునుగూర్చి అంగలార్చుము, ప్రసిద్ధినొందిన జన ముల కుమార్త్తెలు భూమిక్రిందికి దిగిపోయినట్లు భూమి క్రిందికిని పాతాళమునకు పోయిన వారి యొద్దకును వారిని పడవేయుము.

18. Son of man, wail over the multitude of Egypt and cast them down, even her and the daughters of the famous and majestic nations, to the netherworld, with those who go down to the pit;

19. సౌందర్యమందు నీవు ఎవనిని మించిన వాడవు?దిగి సున్నతి నొందని వారియొద్ద పడియుండుము.

19. Whom [among them] do you surpass in beauty? Go down and be laid with the uncircumcised (the heathen).

20. ఖడ్గముచేత హతమైన వారిమధ్య వారు కూలుదురు, అది కత్తిపాలగును, దానిని దాని జనులను లాగి పడవేయుడి.

20. They shall fall in the midst of those who are slain by the sword; she [Egypt] is delivered to the sword; they draw her down [to her judgment], and all her multitudes [with their noise and stores].

21. వారు దిగిపోయిరే, సున్నతినొందని వీరు ఖడ్గముచేత హతమై అక్కడ పడియుండిరే, అని యందురు; పాతాళ ములోనున్న పరాక్రమశాలురలో బలాఢ్యులు దాని గూర్చియు దాని సహాయులనుగూర్చియు అందురు.

21. The strong among the mighty shall speak of [Pharaoh] out of the midst of Sheol (the place of the dead, the netherworld) with those who helped him; they are gone down; they lie still, even the uncircumcised (the heathen) slain by the sword.

22. అష్షూరును దాని సమూహమంతయు అచ్చటనున్నవి, దాని చుట్టును వారి సమాధులున్నవి, వారందరు కత్తిపాలై చచ్చి యున్నారు.

22. Assyria is there and all her company; their graves are round about her, all of them slain, fallen by the sword,

23. దాని సమాధులు పాతాళాగాధములో నియమింపబడినవి, దాని సమూహము దాని సమాధిచుట్టు నున్నది, వారందరు సజీవుల లోకములో భయంకరులైన వారు, వారు కత్తిపాలై చచ్చిపడియుండిరి.

23. Whose graves are set in the uttermost parts of the pit and whose company is round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who caused terror to spread in the land of the living.

24. అక్కడ ఏలామును దాని సమూహమును సమాధిచుట్టు నున్నవి; అందరును కత్తిపాలై చచ్చిరి; వారు సజీవులలోకములో భయంకరులైనవారు, వారు సున్నతిలేనివారై పాతాళములోనికి దిగిపోయిరి, గోతిలోనికి దిగిపోయినవారితో కూడ వారు అవమానము నొందుదురు.

24. Elam [an auxiliary of Assyria] is there and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who have gone down uncircumcised into the netherworld, who caused their terror to spread in the land of the living and have borne their shame with those who go down to the pit.

25. హతులైన వారిమధ్య దానికిని దాని సమూహమునకును పడకయొకటి ఏర్పడెను, దాని సమాధులు దానిచుట్టు నున్నవి; వారందరును సున్నతి లేనివారై హతులైరి; వారు సజీవులలోకములో భయంకరులు గనుక గోతిలోనికి దిగిపోయినవారితో కూడ వారును అవమానము నొందుదురు, హతులైన వారిమధ్య అది యుంచబడును.

25. They have set her a bed (a sepulcher) among the slain with all her multitude--their graves round about her, all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, for their terror had spread in the land of the living, and they henceforth bear their shame with those who go down to the pit; they are laid in the midst of the slain.

26. అక్కడ మెషెకును తుబాలును దాని సమూహమును ఉన్నవి; దాని సమాధులు దాని చుట్టునున్నవి. వారందరు సున్నతిలేనివారు, సజీవుల లోకములో వారు భయంకరులైరి గనుక వారు కత్తిపాలైరి, ఆయుధములను చేతపట్టుకొని పాతాళములోనికి దిగి పోయిరి.

26. Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitude are there; their graves are round about [Pharaoh], all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, for they caused their terror to be spread in the land of the living.

27. అయితే వీరు సున్నతిలేని వారిలో పడిపోయిన శూరులదగ్గర పండుకొనరు; వారు తమ యుధ్దాయుధము లను చేతపట్టుకొని పాతాళములోనికి దిగిపోయి, తమ ఖడ్గములను తలల క్రింద ఉంచుకొని పండుకొందురు; వీరు సజీవుల లోకములో భయంకరులైరి గనుక వారి దోషము వారి యెముకలకు తగిలెను.

27. And they shall not lie with the mighty who have fallen of the uncircumcised [and] who have gone down to Sheol (the place of the dead, the netherworld) with their weapons of war, whose swords were laid [with honors] under their heads and whose iniquities are upon their bones, for they caused their terror to spread in the land of the living.

28. నీవు సున్నతిలేనివారి మధ్య నాశనమై కత్తిపాలైనవారియొద్ద పండుకొందువు.

28. But you [Meshech and Tubal] shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised and shall lie [without honors] with those who are slain with the sword.

29. అక్కడ ఎదోమును దాని రాజులును దాని అధిపతులందరును ఉన్నారు; వారు పరాక్రమవంతులైనను కత్తి పాలైన వారియొద్ద ఉంచబడిరి; సున్నతిలేని వారియొద్దను పాతాళములోనికి దిగిపోయినవారియొద్దను వారును పండు కొనిరి.

29. Edom is there, her kings and all her princes, who for all their might are laid with those who were slain by the sword; they shall lie with the uncircumcised (the heathen) and with those who go down to the pit.

30. అక్కడ ఉత్తరదేశపు అధిపతులందురును సీదో నీయులందరును హతమైన వారితో దిగిపోయియున్నారు; వారు పరాక్రమవంతులై భయము పుట్టించినను అవమానము నొందియున్నారు; సున్నతి లేనివారై కత్తిపాలైన వారిమధ్య పండుకొనియున్నారు; గోతిలోనికి దిగిపోయిన వారితోపాటు వారును అవమానము నొందుదురు.

30. The princes of the north are there, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who have gone down with the slain; for all the terror which they caused by their might they are put to shame, and they lie uncircumcised with those who are slain by the sword and henceforth bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.

31. కత్తిపాలైన ఫరోయు అతనివారందరును వారినిచూచి తమ సమూహమంతటినిగూర్చి ఓదార్పు తెచ్చుకొందురు; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

31. When Pharaoh sees them, he will comfort himself for all his multitude--even Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword, says the Lord God.

32. సజీవుల లోకములో అతనిచేత భయము పుట్టించితిని గనుక ఫరోయు అతని వారందరును కత్తిపాలైనవారియొద్ద సున్నతిలేనివారితో కూడ పండుకొందురు, ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

32. For I have put his and My terror in the land of the living, and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised (the heathen) with those slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord God. [Isa. 19; Jer. 46; Zech. 14:18, 19.]
