1. మరియు పదకొండవ సంవత్సరము మూడవ నెల మొదటి దినమున యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

1. And it came to pass in the eleventh year, the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

2. నరపుత్రుడా, నీవు ఐగుప్తు రాజైన ఫరోతోను అతని సమూహముతోను ఇట్లనుము ఘనుడవైన నీవు ఎవనితో సమానుడవు?

2. Son of man, because Tyre hath said of Jerusalem: Aha, the gates of the people are broken, she is turned to me: I shall be filled, now she is laid waste.

3. అష్షూరీయులు లెబానోను దేవదారు వృక్షమైనట్టుండిరి. దాని కొమ్మలు శృంగారములు, దాని గుబురు విశాలము, దానికొన బహు ఎత్తయినందున మేఘములకు అంటెను.

3. Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold I come against thee, O Tyre, and I will cause many nations to come up to thee, as the waves of the sea rise up.

4. నీళ్లుండుటవలన అది మిక్కిలి గొప్పదాయెను, లోతైన నది ఆధారమైనందున అది మిక్కిలి యెత్తుగా పెరిగెను, అది యుండు చోటున ఆ నది కాలువలు పారుచు పొలములోను చెట్లన్నిటికిని ప్రవహించెను.

4. And they shall break down the walls of Tyre, and destroy the towers thereof: and I will scrape her dust from her, and make her like a smooth rock.

5. కాబట్టి అది ఎదిగి పొలము లోని చెట్లన్నిటికంటె ఎత్తుగలదాయెను, దాని శాఖలు బహు విస్తారములాయెను, నీరు సమృద్ధిగా ఉన్నందున దాని చిగుళ్లు పెద్దకొమ్మలాయెను.

5. She shall be a drying place for nets in the midst of the sea, because I have spoken it, saith the Lord God: and she shall be a spoil to the nations.

6. ఆకాశపక్షులన్నియు దాని శాఖలలో గూళ్లుకట్టుకొనెను, భూజంతువులన్నియు దాని కొమ్మలక్రింద పిల్లలు పెట్టెను, దాని నీడను సకలమైన గొప్ప జనములు నివసించెను.

6. Her daughters also that are in the field, shall be slain by the sword: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

7. ఈలాగున అది పొడుగైన కొమ్మలు కలిగి దానివేరు విస్తార జలమున్న చోట పారుటవలన అది మిక్కిలి గొప్పదై కంటికి అందమైన దాయెను.

7. For thus saith the Lord God: Behold I will bring against Tyre Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, the king of kings, from the north, with horses, and chariots, and horsemen, and companies, and much people.

8. దేవుని వనములోనున్న దేవదారు వృక్షములు దాని మరుగు చేయలేకపోయెను, సరళవృక్షములు దాని శాఖలంత గొప్పవికావు అక్షోట వృక్షములు దాని కొమ్మలంత గొప్పవికావు, దానికున్న శృంగారము దేవుని వనములోనున్న వృక్షములలో దేనికిని లేదు.

8. Thy daughters that are in the field, he shall kill with the sword: and he shall compass thee with forts, and shall cast up a mount round about: and he shall lift up the buckler against thee.

9. విస్తారమైన కొమ్మలతో నేను దానిని శృంగారించినందున దేవుని వనమైన ఏదెనులోనున్న వృక్షములన్నియు దాని సొగసు చూచి దానియందు అసూయపడెను.

9. And he shall set engines of mar and battering rams against thy walls, and shall destroy thy towers with his arms.

10. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు నీ యెత్తునుబట్టి నీవు అతిశయపడితివి, తన కొన మేఘములకంటజేసి తన యెత్తునుబట్టి అతడు గర్వించెను.

10. By reason of the multitude of his horses, their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and wheels, and chariots, when they shall go in at thy gates, as by the entrance of a city that is destroyed.

11. కాబట్టి యతని దుష్టత్వమునుబట్టి యత నిని తరిమి వేసి, జనములలో బలముగల జనమునకు నేనతని నప్పగించె దను; ఆ జనము అతనికి తగినపని చేయును.

11. With the hoofs of his horses he shall tread down all thy streets: thy people he shall kill with the sword, and thy famous statues shall fall to the ground.

12. జనములలో క్రూరులైన పరదేశులు అతనిని నరికి పారవేసిరి, కొండల లోను లోయలన్నిటిలోను అతని కొమ్మలు పడెను, భూమి యందున్న వాగులలో అతని శాఖలు విరిగి పడెను, భూజనులందరును అతని నీడను విడిచి అతనిని పడియుండ నిచ్చిరి.

12. They shall waste thy riches, they shall make a spoil of thy merchandise: and they shall destroy thy walls, and pull down thy fine houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber, and thy dust in the midst of the waters.

13. పడిపోయిన అతని మోడుమీద ఆకాశపక్షు లన్నియు దిగి వ్రాలును, అతని కొమ్మలమీద భూజంతువు లన్నియు పడును.

13. And I will make the multitude of thy songs to cease, and the sound of thy harps shall be heard no more.

14. నీరున్నచోటున నున్న వృక్షము లన్నిటిలో ఏదియు తన యెత్తునుబట్టి అతిశయపడి, తన కొనను మేఘముల కంటజేసి, యే వృక్షముగాని దాని యెత్తునుబట్టి గర్వింపకుండునట్లు, క్రిందిలోకమునకుపోవు నరుల యొద్దకు దిగువారితోకూడ మరణము పాలైరి.

14. And I will make thee like a naked rock, then shalt be a drying place for nets, neither shalt thou be built any more: for I have spoken it, saith. the Lord God.

15. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా అతడు పాతాళములోనికి పోయిన దినమున నేను అంగలార్పు కలుగజేసితిని, అగాధజలములు అతని కప్పజేసితిని, అనేక జలములను ఆపి అతనినిబట్టి నేను వాటి ప్రవాహములను బంధించితిని, అతనికొరకు నేను లెబానోను పర్వతమును గాఢాంధకారము కమ్మజేసితిని, ఫలవృక్షములన్నియు అతనిగూర్చి వ్యాకులపడెను, పాతాళములోనికి నేనతని దింపగా గోతిలోనికి పోవువారియొద్దకు అతని పడ వేయగా

15. Thus saith the Lord God to Tyre: Shall not the islands shake at the sound of thy fall, and the groans of thy slain when they shall be killed in the midst of thee?

16. అతని పాటు ధ్వనిచేత జనములను వణకజేసి తిని, నీరు పీల్చు లెబానోను శ్రేష్ఠవృక్షములన్నియు ఏదెను వృక్షములన్నియు పాతాళములో తమ్మును తాము ఓదార్చుకొనిరి.

16. Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones: and take off their robes, and cast away their broidered garments, and be clothed with astonishment: they shall sit on the ground, and with amazement shall wonder at thy sudden fall.

17. అన్యజనులమధ్య అతని నీడను నివసించి అతనికి సహాయులగువారు అతనితోకూడ పాతాళమునకు అతడు హతము చేసినవారి యొద్దకు దిగిరి.

17. And taking up a lamentation over thee, they shall sag to thee: How art thou fallen, that dwellest in the sea, renowned city that wast strong in the sea, with thy inhabitants whom all did dread?

18. కాబట్టి ఘనముగాను గొప్పగానున్న నీవు ఏదెను వనములోని వృక్షములలో దేనికి సముడవు? నీవు పాతాళములోనికి త్రోయబడి, ఘనులై అక్కడికి దిగిపోయిన రాజులయొద్ద ఉందువు; ఖడ్గముచేత హతులైన వారి యొద్దను సున్నతినొందనివారియొద్దను నీవు పడియున్నావు. ఫరోకును అతని సమూహమునకును ఈలాగు సంభవించును; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

18. Now shall the ships be astonished in the day of thy terror: and the islands in the sea shall be troubled because no one cometh out of thee.
