1. పదియవ సంవత్సరము పదియవ నెల పండ్రెండవ దినమున యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. In the tenth year, in the tenth month, on the twelfth day, GOD's Message came to me:

2. నరపుత్రుడా, నీ ముఖమును ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరోవైపు త్రిప్పుకొని అతనిగూర్చియు ఐగుప్తు దేశ మంతటినిగూర్చియు ఈ సమాచారమెత్తి ప్రవచింపుము ప్రభువగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా

2. 'Son of man, confront Pharaoh king of Egypt. Preach against him and all the Egyptians.

3. ఐగుప్తు రాజైన ఫరో, నైలునదిలో పండుకొనియున్న పెద్దమొసలీ, నేను నీకు విరోధిని; నైలునది నాది, నేనే దాని కలుగ జేసితిని అని నీవు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నావే;

3. Tell him, 'GOD, the Master, says: ''Watch yourself, Pharaoh, king of Egypt. I'm dead set against you, You lumbering old dragon, lolling and flaccid in the Nile, Saying, 'It's my Nile. I made it. It's mine.'

4. నేను నీ దవుడలకు గాలములు తగిలించి, నీ నదులలోనున్న చేపలను నీ పొలుసులకు అంటజేసి, నైలులోనుండి నిన్నును నీ పొలుసులకు అంటిన నైలు చేపలన్నిటిని బయటికి లాగెదను.

4. I'll set hooks in your jaw; I'll make the fish of the Nile stick to your scales. I'll pull you out of the Nile, with all the fish stuck to your scales.

5. నిన్నును నైలునది చేపలన్నిటిని అరణ్యములో పారబోసెదను, ఎత్తు వాడును కూర్చువాడును లేక నీవు తెరపనేల మీద పడుదువు, అడవిమృగములకును ఆకాశపక్షులకును ఆహారముగా నిచ్చెదను.

5. Then I'll drag you out into the desert, you and all the Nile fish sticking to your scales. You'll lie there in the open, rotting in the sun, meat to the wild animals and carrion birds.

6. అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని ఐగుప్తీయులందరు తెలిసికొందరు. ఐగుప్తు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు రెల్లుపుల్లవంటి చేతికఱ్ఱ ఆయెను;

6. Everybody living in Egypt will realize that I am GOD. ''Because you've been a flimsy reed crutch to Israel

7. వారు నిన్ను చేత పట్టుకొనినప్పుడు నీవు విరిగిపోయి వారి ప్రక్కలలో గుచ్చుకొంటివి, వారు నీమీద ఆనుకొనగా నీవు విరిగిపోయి వారి నడుములు విరిగిపోవుటకు కారణమైతివి.

7. so that when they gripped you, you splintered and cut their hand, and when they leaned on you, you broke and sent them sprawling--

8. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను నీమీదికి ఖడ్గము రప్పించి, మనుష్యులను పశువులను నీలోనుండి నిర్మూలము చేసెదను,

8. Message of GOD, the Master--I'll bring war against you, do away with people and animals alike,

9. ఐగుప్తుదేశము నిర్మానుష్యమై పాడుగా ఉండును, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు. నైలునది నాది, నేనే దాని కలుగజేసితినని అతడనుకొను చున్నాడు గనుక

9. and turn the country into an empty desert so they'll realize that I am GOD. ''Because you said, 'It's my Nile. I made it. It's all mine,'

10. నేను నీకును నీ నదికిని విరోధినైతిని, ఐగుప్తు దేశమును మిగ్దోలు మొదలుకొని సెవేనేవరకు కూషు సరిహద్దు వరకు బొత్తిగా పాడుచేసి యెడారిగా ఉంచెదను.

10. therefore I am against you and your rivers. I'll reduce Egypt to an empty, desolate wasteland all the way from Migdol in the north to Syene and the border of Ethiopia in the south.

11. దానిలో మనుష్యులు సంచరించరు, పశువులు తిరుగవు; నలువది సంవత్సరములు అది నిర్నివాసముగా ఉండును.

11. Not a human will be seen in it, nor will an animal move through it. It'll be just empty desert, empty for forty years.

12. నిర్మానుష్యముగానున్న దేశముల మధ్యను ఐగుప్తుదేశమును పాడగునట్టుగా చేసెదను, పాడై పోయిన పట్టణములమధ్యను దాని పట్టణములు నలువది సంవత్సరములు పాడైయుండును, ఐగుప్తీయులను జనముల లోనికి చెదరగొట్టుదును, ఆ యా దేశములకు వారిని వెళ్ల గొట్టుదును.

12. ''I'll make Egypt the most desolate of all desolations. For forty years I'll make her cities the most wasted of all wasted cities. I'll scatter Egyptians to the four winds, send them off every which way into exile.

13. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెల విచ్చుచున్నాడు నలువది సంవత్సరములు జరిగిన తరువాత ఐగుప్తీయులు చెదరిపోయిన జనులలోనుండి నేను వారిని సమకూర్చెదను.

13. ''But,' says GOD, the Master, 'that's not the end of it. After the forty years, I'll gather up the Egyptians from all the places where they've been scattered.

14. చెరలోనుండి వారిని తోడుకొని పత్రోసు అను వారి స్వదేశములోనికి వారిని మరల రప్పించెదను, అక్కడ వారు హీనమైన యొక రాజ్యముగా ఉందురు,

14. I'll put things back together again for Egypt. I'll bring her back to Pathros where she got her start long ago. There she'll start over again from scratch.

15. వారికను జనములమీద అతిశయపడకుండు నట్లు రాజ్యము లన్నిటిలో వారు హీనమైన రాజ్యముగా ఉందురు; వారు ఇక రాష్ట్రములమీద ప్రభుత్వము చేయ కుండునట్లు నేను వారిని తగ్గించెదను.

15. She'll take her place at the bottom of the ladder and there she'll stay, never to climb that ladder again, never to be a world power again.

16. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తాము చేసిన దోషము మనస్సునకు తెచ్చుకొని వారి తట్టు తిరిగినయెడల ఐగుప్తీయులు ఇక వారికి ఆధారముగా ఉండరు, అప్పుడు నేను ప్రభువైన యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

16. Never again will Israel be tempted to rely on Egypt. All she'll be to Israel is a reminder of old sin. Then Egypt will realize that I am GOD, the Master.''

17. ఇరువదియేడవ సంవత్సరము మొదటినెల మొదటి దినమున యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

17. In the twenty-seventh year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, GOD's Message came to me:

18. నరపుత్రుడా, తూరు పట్టణముమీద బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు తన సైన్యముచేత బహు ఆయాసకరమైన పని చేయించెను, వారందరి తలలు బోడి వాయెను, అందరి భుజములు కొట్టుకొని పోయెను; అయినను తూరుపట్టణముమీద అతడు చేసిన కష్టమునుబట్టి అతనికైనను, అతని సైన్యమునకైనను కూలి యెంత మాత్రమును దొరకకపోయెను.

18. 'Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, has worn out his army against Tyre. They've worked their fingers to the bone and have nothing to show for it.

19. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా ఐగుప్తుదేశమును బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరునకు నేను అప్పగించు చున్నాను, అతడు దాని ఆస్తిని పట్టుకొని దాని సొమ్మును దోచుకొని కొల్లపెట్టును, అది అతని సైన్యమునకు జీతమగును.

19. 'Therefore, GOD, the Master, says, 'I'm giving Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. He'll haul away its wealth, pick the place clean. He'll pay his army with Egyptian plunder.

20. తూరుపట్టణముమీద అతడు చేసినది నా నిమిత్తమే చేసెను గనుక అందుకు బహుమానముగా దానిని అప్పగించుచున్నాను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

20. He's been working for me all these years without pay. This is his pay: Egypt. Decree of GOD, the Master.

21. ఆ దినమందు నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కొమ్ము చిగిరింప జేసి వారిలో మాటలాడుటకు నీకు ధైర్యము కలుగజేసెదను, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానైయున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

21. ''And then I'll stir up fresh hope in Israel--the dawn of deliverance!--and I'll give you, Ezekiel, bold and confident words to speak. And they'll realize that I am GOD.''
