1. పదియవ సంవత్సరము పదియవ నెల పండ్రెండవ దినమున యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. On January 7, during the tenth year of King Jehoiachin's captivity, this message came to me from the LORD:

2. నరపుత్రుడా, నీ ముఖమును ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరోవైపు త్రిప్పుకొని అతనిగూర్చియు ఐగుప్తు దేశ మంతటినిగూర్చియు ఈ సమాచారమెత్తి ప్రవచింపుము ప్రభువగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా

2. 'Son of man, turn and face Egypt and prophesy against Pharaoh the king and all the people of Egypt.

3. ఐగుప్తు రాజైన ఫరో, నైలునదిలో పండుకొనియున్న పెద్దమొసలీ, నేను నీకు విరోధిని; నైలునది నాది, నేనే దాని కలుగ జేసితిని అని నీవు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నావే;

3. Give them this message from the Sovereign LORD: 'I am your enemy, O Pharaoh, king of Egypt-- you great monster, lurking in the streams of the Nile. For you have said, 'The Nile River is mine; I made it for myself.'

4. నేను నీ దవుడలకు గాలములు తగిలించి, నీ నదులలోనున్న చేపలను నీ పొలుసులకు అంటజేసి, నైలులోనుండి నిన్నును నీ పొలుసులకు అంటిన నైలు చేపలన్నిటిని బయటికి లాగెదను.

4. I will put hooks in your jaws and drag you out on the land with fish sticking to your scales.

5. నిన్నును నైలునది చేపలన్నిటిని అరణ్యములో పారబోసెదను, ఎత్తు వాడును కూర్చువాడును లేక నీవు తెరపనేల మీద పడుదువు, అడవిమృగములకును ఆకాశపక్షులకును ఆహారముగా నిచ్చెదను.

5. I will leave you and all your fish stranded in the wilderness to die. You will lie unburied on the open ground, for I have given you as food to the wild animals and birds.

6. అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని ఐగుప్తీయులందరు తెలిసికొందరు. ఐగుప్తు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు రెల్లుపుల్లవంటి చేతికఱ్ఱ ఆయెను;

6. All the people of Egypt will know that I am the LORD, for to Israel you were just a staff made of reeds.

7. వారు నిన్ను చేత పట్టుకొనినప్పుడు నీవు విరిగిపోయి వారి ప్రక్కలలో గుచ్చుకొంటివి, వారు నీమీద ఆనుకొనగా నీవు విరిగిపోయి వారి నడుములు విరిగిపోవుటకు కారణమైతివి.

7. When Israel leaned on you, you splintered and broke and stabbed her in the armpit. When she put her weight on you, you gave way, and her back was thrown out of joint.

8. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను నీమీదికి ఖడ్గము రప్పించి, మనుష్యులను పశువులను నీలోనుండి నిర్మూలము చేసెదను,

8. 'Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will bring an army against you, O Egypt, and destroy both people and animals.

9. ఐగుప్తుదేశము నిర్మానుష్యమై పాడుగా ఉండును, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు. నైలునది నాది, నేనే దాని కలుగజేసితినని అతడనుకొను చున్నాడు గనుక

9. The land of Egypt will become a desolate wasteland, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD.'Because you said, 'The Nile River is mine; I made it,'

10. నేను నీకును నీ నదికిని విరోధినైతిని, ఐగుప్తు దేశమును మిగ్దోలు మొదలుకొని సెవేనేవరకు కూషు సరిహద్దు వరకు బొత్తిగా పాడుచేసి యెడారిగా ఉంచెదను.

10. I am now the enemy of both you and your river. I will make the land of Egypt a totally desolate wasteland, from Migdol to Aswan, as far south as the border of Ethiopia.

11. దానిలో మనుష్యులు సంచరించరు, పశువులు తిరుగవు; నలువది సంవత్సరములు అది నిర్నివాసముగా ఉండును.

11. For forty years not a soul will pass that way, neither people nor animals. It will be completely uninhabited.

12. నిర్మానుష్యముగానున్న దేశముల మధ్యను ఐగుప్తుదేశమును పాడగునట్టుగా చేసెదను, పాడై పోయిన పట్టణములమధ్యను దాని పట్టణములు నలువది సంవత్సరములు పాడైయుండును, ఐగుప్తీయులను జనముల లోనికి చెదరగొట్టుదును, ఆ యా దేశములకు వారిని వెళ్ల గొట్టుదును.

12. I will make Egypt desolate, and it will be surrounded by other desolate nations. Its cities will be empty and desolate for forty years, surrounded by other ruined cities. I will scatter the Egyptians to distant lands.

13. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెల విచ్చుచున్నాడు నలువది సంవత్సరములు జరిగిన తరువాత ఐగుప్తీయులు చెదరిపోయిన జనులలోనుండి నేను వారిని సమకూర్చెదను.

13. 'But this is what the Sovereign LORD also says: At the end of the forty years I will bring the Egyptians home again from the nations to which they have been scattered.

14. చెరలోనుండి వారిని తోడుకొని పత్రోసు అను వారి స్వదేశములోనికి వారిని మరల రప్పించెదను, అక్కడ వారు హీనమైన యొక రాజ్యముగా ఉందురు,

14. I will restore the prosperity of Egypt and bring its people back to the land of Pathros in southern Egypt from which they came. But Egypt will remain an unimportant, minor kingdom.

15. వారికను జనములమీద అతిశయపడకుండు నట్లు రాజ్యము లన్నిటిలో వారు హీనమైన రాజ్యముగా ఉందురు; వారు ఇక రాష్ట్రములమీద ప్రభుత్వము చేయ కుండునట్లు నేను వారిని తగ్గించెదను.

15. It will be the lowliest of all the nations, never again great enough to rise above its neighbors.

16. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తాము చేసిన దోషము మనస్సునకు తెచ్చుకొని వారి తట్టు తిరిగినయెడల ఐగుప్తీయులు ఇక వారికి ఆధారముగా ఉండరు, అప్పుడు నేను ప్రభువైన యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

16. 'Then Israel will no longer be tempted to trust in Egypt for help. Egypt's shattered condition will remind Israel of how sinful she was to trust Egypt in earlier days. Then Israel will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.'

17. ఇరువదియేడవ సంవత్సరము మొదటినెల మొదటి దినమున యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

17. On April 26, the first day of the new year, during the twenty-seventh year of King Jehoiachin's captivity, this message came to me from the LORD:

18. నరపుత్రుడా, తూరు పట్టణముమీద బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు తన సైన్యముచేత బహు ఆయాసకరమైన పని చేయించెను, వారందరి తలలు బోడి వాయెను, అందరి భుజములు కొట్టుకొని పోయెను; అయినను తూరుపట్టణముమీద అతడు చేసిన కష్టమునుబట్టి అతనికైనను, అతని సైన్యమునకైనను కూలి యెంత మాత్రమును దొరకకపోయెను.

18. 'Son of man, the army of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon fought so hard against Tyre that the warriors' heads were rubbed bare and their shoulders were raw and blistered. Yet Nebuchadnezzar and his army won no plunder to compensate them for all their work.

19. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా ఐగుప్తుదేశమును బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరునకు నేను అప్పగించు చున్నాను, అతడు దాని ఆస్తిని పట్టుకొని దాని సొమ్మును దోచుకొని కొల్లపెట్టును, అది అతని సైన్యమునకు జీతమగును.

19. Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. He will carry off its wealth, plundering everything it has so he can pay his army.

20. తూరుపట్టణముమీద అతడు చేసినది నా నిమిత్తమే చేసెను గనుక అందుకు బహుమానముగా దానిని అప్పగించుచున్నాను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

20. Yes, I have given him the land of Egypt as a reward for his work, says the Sovereign LORD, because he was working for me when he destroyed Tyre.

21. ఆ దినమందు నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కొమ్ము చిగిరింప జేసి వారిలో మాటలాడుటకు నీకు ధైర్యము కలుగజేసెదను, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానైయున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

21. 'And the day will come when I will cause the ancient glory of Israel to revive, and then, Ezekiel, your words will be respected. Then they will know that I am the LORD.'
