1. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

1. And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

2. నరపుత్రుడా, ప్రాణహాని చేయు ఈ పట్టణమునకు నీవు తీర్పు తీర్చుదువా? దానికి నీవు తీర్పు తీర్చునెడల అదిచేయు హేయక్రియలన్నిటిని దానికి తెలియజేసి యీలాగున ప్రకటింపవలెను.

2. 'And thou, son of man, dost thou judge? dost thou judge the city of blood? then thou hast caused it to know all its abominations,

3. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నీ కాలము వచ్చునట్లు నరహత్యలు చేయు పట్టణమా, నిన్ను అపవిత్రపరచుకొనునట్లు విగ్రహములు పెట్టుకొను పట్టణమా, నీవు చేసిన నరహత్యలచేత నీకు నీవే నేరస్థాపన చేసి కొంటివి, నీవు పెట్టుకొనిన విగ్రహములచేత నిన్ను నీవే అపవిత్రపరచుకొంటివి,

3. and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: The city is shedding blood in its midst, For the coming in of its time, And it hath made idols on it for defilement.

4. నీకు నీవే శిక్ష తెప్పించు కొంటివి, శిక్షా సంవత్సరములు వచ్చుటకు నీవే కారణ మైతివి. కాబట్టి అన్యజనములలో నిందాస్పదముగాను, సకలదేశములలో అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను నిన్ను నియ మించుచున్నాను.

4. By thy blood that thou hast shed thou hast been guilty, And by thine idols that thou hast made thou hast been defiled, And thou causest thy days to draw near, And art come in unto thine years, Therefore I have given thee a reproach to nations, And a derision to all the lands.

5. సమీపస్థులేమి దూరస్థులేమి అందరును అపకీర్తి పొందినదానవనియు అల్లరితో నిండినదాన వనియు నిన్ను అపహసింతురు.

5. The near and the far-off from thee scoff at thee, O defiled of name -- abounding in trouble.

6. నీలోని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రధానులందరును తమ శక్తికొలది నరహత్యచేయుదురు,

6. Lo, princes of Israel -- each according to his arm Have been in thee to shed blood.

7. నీలో తలిదండ్రులు అవమానమొందుదురు, నీ మధ్యనున్న పరదేశులు దౌర్జన్యము నొందుదురు, నీలో తండ్రిలేని వారును విధవరాండ్రును హింసింపబడుదురు,

7. Father and mother made light of in thee, To a sojourner they dealt oppressively in thy midst, Fatherless and widow they oppressed in thee.

8. నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితములగు వస్తువులను నీవు తృణీకరించుచున్నావు, నా విశ్రాంతిదినములను నీవు అపవిత్రపరచుచున్నావు.

8. My holy things thou hast despised, And My sabbaths thou hast polluted.

9. కొండెములు చెప్పి నరహత్య చేయువారు నీలో కాపురమున్నారు, పర్వతములమీద భోజనము చేయువారు నీ మధ్య నివసించుచున్నారు, నీలో కామ వికార చేష్టలు జరుగుచున్నవి.

9. Men of slander have been in thee to shed blood, And on the mountains they have eaten in thee, Wickedness they have done in thy midst.

10. తమ తండ్రి మానాచ్ఛాదనము తీయు వారు నీలో నున్నారు, అశుచియై బహిష్టియైన స్త్రీని చెరుపువారు నీలో కాపురమున్నారు.

10. The nakedness of a father hath one uncovered in thee, The defiled of impurity they humbled in thee.

11. ఒకడు తన పొరుగువాని భార్యను కూడి హేయక్రియలు చేయును, మరియొకడు కామాతురుడై తన కోడలిని అపవిత్రపరచును, నీలో జనులు తండ్రి కుమార్తెయగు తమ సహోదరిని చెరుపుదురు.

11. And each with the wife of his neighbour hath done abomination, And each his daughter-in-law hath defiled through wickedness, And each his sister, his father's daughter, hath humbled in thee.

12. నన్ను మరచిపోయి నరహత్యకై లంచము పుచ్చుకొనువారు నీలో నున్నారు, అప్పిచ్చి వడ్డి పుచ్చుకొని నీ పొరుగువారిని బాధించుచు నీవు బలవంతముగా వారిని దోచుకొనుచున్నావు; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

12. A bribe they have taken in thee to shed blood, Usury and increase thou hast taken, And cuttest off thy neighbour by oppression, And Me thou hast forgotten, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!

13. నీవు పుచ్చుకొనిన అన్యాయ లాభమును, నీవు చేసిన నరహత్యలను నేను చూచి నా చేతులు చరచుకొనుచున్నాను.

13. And lo, I have smitten My hand, Because of thy dishonest gain that thou hast gained, And for thy blood that hath been in thy midst.

14. నేను నీకు శిక్ష విధింప బోవుకాలమున ఓర్చుకొనుటకు చాలినంత ధైర్యము నీ హృదయమునకు కలదా? సహించునంత బలము నీ కుండునా? యెహోవానగు నేనే మాట ఇచ్చియున్నాను, దానిని నేను నెరవేర్తును, నీ అపవిత్రతను బొత్తిగా తీసి వేయుటకై

14. Doth thy heart stand -- are thy hands strong, For the days that I am dealing with thee? I, Jehovah, have spoken and have done [it].

15. అన్యజనులలో నిన్ను చెదరగొట్టుదును, ఇతర దేశములకు నిన్ను వెళ్లగొట్టుదును.

15. And I have scattered thee among nations, And have spread thee out among lands, And consumed thy uncleanness out of thee.

16. అచ్చట అన్యజనుల ఎదుటనే నీ అంతట నీవే భ్రష్ఠుడవై నేను యెహోవానని నీవు తెలిసికొందువు.

16. And thou hast been polluted in thyself Before the eyes of nations, And thou hast known that I [am] Jehovah.'

17. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

17. And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying, 'Son of man,

18. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు నా దృష్టికి మష్టువంటివారైరి, అందరును కొలిమి లోని ఇత్తడియు తగరమును ఇనుమును సీసము నైరి, వారు వెండి మష్టువంటివారైరి.

18. The house of Israel hath been to Me for dross, All of them [are] brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, In the midst of a furnace -- dross hath silver been,

19. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా మీరందరును మష్టు వంటివారైతిరి. నేను మిమ్మును యెరూషలేము మధ్యను పోగుచేసెదను, ఒకడు వెండియు ఇత్తడియు ఇనుమును సీసమును తగరమును పోగుచేసి కొలిమిలో వేసి దానిమీద అగ్ని ఊది కరిగించినట్లు

19. Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because of your all becoming dross, Therefore, lo, I am gathering you unto the midst of Jerusalem,

20. నా కోపము చేతను రౌద్రముచేతను మిమ్మును పోగుచేసి అక్కడ మిమ్మును కరిగింతును.

20. A gathering of silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, Unto the midst of a furnace -- to blow on it fire, to melt it, So do I gather in Mine anger and in My fury, And I have let rest, and have melted you.

21. మిమ్మును పోగుచేసి నా కోపాగ్నిని మీమీద ఊదగా నిశ్చయముగా మీరు దానిలో కరిగిపోవుదురు.

21. And I have heaped you up, And blown on you in the fire of My wrath, And ye have been melted in its midst.

22. కొలి మిలో వెండి కరుగునట్లు మీరు దానిలో కరిగిపోవుదురు, అప్పుడు యెహోవానైన నేను నా క్రోధమును మీమీద కుమ్మరించితినని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

22. As the melting of silver in the midst of a furnace, So are ye melted in its midst, And ye have known that I, Jehovah, I have poured out My fury upon you.'

23. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

23. And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

24. నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూషలేమునకు నీవీమాట ప్రకటింపుము నీవు పవిత్రము కాని దేశమువై యున్నావు

24. 'Son of man, say to it, Thou [art] a land, It [is] not cleansed nor rained on in a day of indignation.

25. ఉగ్రత దినమందు నీకు వర్షము రాదు, అందులో ప్రవక్తలు కుట్రచేయుదురు, గర్జించు చుండు సింహము వేటను చీల్చునట్లు వారు మనుష్యులను భక్షింతురు. సొత్తులను ద్రవ్యమును వారు పట్టుకొందురు, దానిలో చాలామందిని వారు విధవరాండ్రుగా చేయుదురు,

25. A conspiracy of its prophets [is] in its midst, as a roaring lion tearing prey; The soul they have devoured, Wealth and glory they have taken, Its widows have multiplied in its midst.

26. దాని యాజకులు నా ధర్మశాస్త్రమును నిరాక రించుదురు, నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితములగు వస్తువులను అపవిత్ర పరచుదురు, ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానికిని సాధారణమైనదానికిని భేదమెంచరు, పవిత్రమేదో అపవిత్రమేదో తెలిసికొను టకు జనులకు నేర్పరు, నేను విధించిన విశ్రాంతిదినములను ఆచరింపరు, వారి మధ్య నేను దూషింపబడుచున్నాను.

26. Its priests have wronged My law, And they pollute My holy things, Between holy and common they have not made separation, And between the unclean and the clean they have not made known, And from my sabbaths they have hidden their eyes, And I am pierced in their midst.

27. దానిలో అధిపతులు లాభము సంపాదించుటకై నరహత్య చేయుటలోను మనుష్యులను నశింపజేయుటలోను వేటను చీల్చు తోడేళ్లవలె ఉన్నారు.

27. Its princes in its midst [are] as wolves, Tearing prey, to shed blood, to destroy souls, For the sake of gaining dishonest gain.

28. మరియు దాని ప్రవక్తలు వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు కనుచు, యెహోవా ఏమియు సెలవియ్యనప్పుడు ప్రభువైన యెహోవా యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడని చెప్పుచు, వట్టిసోదెగాండ్రయి జనులు కట్టిన మంటిగోడకు గచ్చుపూతపూయువారై యున్నారు.

28. And its prophets have daubed for them with chalk, Seeing a vain thing, and divining for them a lie, Saying, 'Thus said the Lord Jehovah:' And Jehovah hath not spoken.

29. మరియు సామాన్య జనులు బలాత్కారముచేయుచు దొంగిలించుదురు, వారు దీనులను దరిద్రులను హింసించుదురు, అన్యాయముగా వారు పరదేశులను బాధించుదురు.

29. The people of the land have used oppression, And have taken plunder violently away, And humble and needy have oppressed, And the sojourner oppressed -- without judgment.

30. నేను దేశమును పాడుచేయకుండునట్లు ప్రాకారమును దిట్టపరచుటకును, బద్దలైన సందులలో నిలుచుటకును, తగిన వాడెవడని నేను ఎంత విచారించినను ఒకడైనను కనబడ లేదు.

30. And I seek of them a man making a fence, And standing in the breach before Me, In behalf of the land -- not to destroy it, And I have not found.

31. కావున నేను నా క్రోధమును వారిమీద కుమ్మరింతును, వారి ప్రవర్తన ఫలము వారిమీదికి రప్పించి నా ఉగ్రతాగ్నిచేత వారిని దహింతును; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.
ప్రకటన గ్రంథం 16:1

31. And I pour out on them mine indignation, By fire of My wrath I have consumed them, Their way on their own head I have put, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'
