1. Then the word of the Lord came to me. He said,

2. 'Son of man, you must speak to the prophets of Israel for me. They are only saying what they want to say. You must speak to them. Tell them this, 'Listen to this message from the Lord!

3. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా దర్శనమేమియు కలుగకున్నను స్వబుద్ధి ననుసరించు అవివేక ప్రవక్తలకు శ్రమ.

3. This is what the Lord God says. Bad things will happen to you foolish prophets. You are following your own spirits. You are not telling people what you really see in visions.

4. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మీ ప్రవక్తలు పాడైన స్థలములలో నుండు నక్కలతో సాటిగా ఉన్నారు.

4. 'Israel, your prophets will be like foxes running through empty, destroyed buildings.

5. యెహోవా దినమున ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు యుద్ధమందు స్థిరముగా నిలుచు నట్లు మీరు గోడలలోనున్న బీటల దగ్గర నిలువరు, ప్రాకారమును దిట్టపరచరు.

5. You have not put soldiers near the broken walls of the city. You have not built walls to protect the family of Israel. So when the day comes for the Lord to punish you, you will lose the war!

6. వారు వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు చూచి, అబద్ధపు సోదె చూచి యెహోవా తమ్మును పంపక పోయినను, తాము చెప్పినమాట స్థిరమని నమ్మునట్లు ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు అని చెప్పుదురు.

6. 'False prophets said they saw visions. They did their magic and said things would happen�but they lied. They said the Lord sent them�but they lied. They are still waiting for their lies to come true.

7. నేను సెలవియ్యకపోయినను ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు అని మీరు చెప్పిన యెడల మీరు కనినది వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనముగదా? మీరు నమ్మదగని సోదెగాండ్రయితిరి గదా?

7. ''False prophets, the visions you saw were not true. You did your magic and said things would happen, but you lied! You said that the Lord said those things, but I did not speak to you!''

8. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మీరు వ్యర్థమైన మాటలు పలుకుచు నిరర్థకమైన దర్శనములు కనుచున్నారు గనుక నేను మీకు విరోధిని; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

8. So now, the Lord God really will speak. He says, 'You told lies. You saw visions that were not true. So now I am against you!' This is what the Lord God said.

9. వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు కనుచు, నమ్మదగని సోదెగాండ్రయిన ప్రవక్తలకు నేను పగవాడను, వారు నా జనుల సభలోనికి రారు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సంఖ్యలో చేరినవారు కాక పోదురు, వారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేశములోనికి తిరిగి రారు, అప్పుడు నేను ప్రభువైన యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

9. The Lord says, 'I will punish the prophets who saw false visions and told lies. I will remove them from my people. Their names will not be in the list of the family of Israel. They will never again come to the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord God!

10. సమాధానమేమియు లేకపోయినను వారు సమాధానమని చెప్పి నా జనులను మోసపుచ్చు చున్నారు; నా జనులు మంటిగోడను కట్టగా వారు వచ్చి దానిమీద గచ్చుపూత పూసెదరు.

10. 'Again and again those false prophets lied to my people. The prophets said there would be peace, but there is no peace. The people need to fix the walls and prepare for war. But they only slap a thin coat of plaster over the broken walls.

11. ఇందువలననే పూయుచున్న వారితో నీ విట్లనుము వర్షము ప్రవాహముగా కురియును, గొప్ప వడగండ్లు పడును, తుపాను దాని పడగొట్టగా అది పడిపోవును.

11. Tell them that I will send hail and a strong rain. The wind will blow hard, and a tornado will come. Then the wall will fall down.

12. ఆ గోడ పడగా జనులు మిమ్మును చూచి మీరు పూసిన పూత యేమాయెనని అడుగుదురు గదా?

12. When the wall falls down, the people will ask the prophets, 'What happened to the plaster you put on the wall?''

13. ఇందుకు ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నేను రౌద్రము తెచ్చుకొని తుపానుచేత దానిని పడగొట్టుదును, నా కోపమునుబట్టి వర్షము ప్రవాహముగా కురియును, నా రౌద్రమునుబట్టి గొప్ప వడగండ్లు పడి దానిని లయపరచును,

13. The Lord God says, 'I am angry and I will send a storm against you. I am angry and I will send a strong rain. I am angry and I will make hail fall from the sky and completely destroy you!

14. దాని పునాది కనబడునట్లు మీరు గచ్చుపూత పూసిన గోడను నేను నేలతో సమముగా కూల్చెదను, అది పడిపోగా దానిక్రింద మీరును నాశనమగుదురు, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

14. You put plaster on the wall, but I will destroy the whole wall. I will pull it to the ground. The wall will fall on you, and then you will know that I am the Lord.

15. ఈలాగున ఆ గోడమీదను దానిమీద గచ్చుపూత పూసినవారిమీదను నా కోపము నేను తీర్చుకొని, ఆ గోడకును దానికి పూత పూసినవారికిని పని తీరెనని మీతో చెప్పుదును.

15. I will finish showing my anger against the wall and those who put plaster on it. Then I will say, 'There is no wall, and there are no workers to put plaster on it.'

16. యెరూషలేమునకు సమాధానము లేకపోయినను ఆ పూత పూయువారు సమాధానార్థమైన దర్శనములు కనుచు ప్రవచించువారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రవక్తలే; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

16. 'All these things will happen to the false prophets of Israel. They speak to the people of Jerusalem and say there will be peace, but there is no peace.' This is what the Lord God said.

17. మరియు నరపుత్రుడా, మనస్సునకు వచ్చినట్టు ప్రవచించు నీ జనుల కుమార్తెలమీద కఠినదృష్టియుంచి వారికి విరోధముగా ఈలాగు ప్రవచింపుము

17. God said, 'Son of man, look at the women prophets in Israel. They say the things they want to say, so you must speak against them for me. You must say this to them.

18. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా మనుష్యులను వేటాడ వలెనని చేతుల కీళ్లన్నిటికిని గుడ్డలుకుట్టి, యెవరి యెత్తు చొప్పున వారి తలలకు ముసుకులుచేయు స్త్రీలారా, మీకు శ్రమ; మీరు నా జనులను వేటాడి మిమ్మును రక్షించుకొందురు.

18. 'This is what the Lord God says: Bad things will happen to you women. You sew cloth bracelets for people to wear on their arms. You make special scarves for people to wear on their heads. {You say those things have magic powers} to control people's lives. You trap the people only to keep yourselves alive!

19. అబద్ధపు మాటల నంగీకరించు నా జనులతో అబద్ధఫు మాటలు చెప్పుచు, చేరెడు యవలకును రొట్టెముక్కలకును ఆశపడి మరణమునకు పాత్రులు కాని వారిని చంపుచు, బ్రదుకుటకు అపాత్రులైన వారిని బ్రదికించుచు నా జనులలో మీరు నన్ను దూషించెదరు.

19. You make them think I am not important. You turn them against me for a few handfuls of barley and a few scraps of bread. You tell lies to my people. They love to listen to lies. You kill those who should live, and you let people live who should die.

20. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు నేను దుఃఖపరచని నీతిమంతుని మనస్సును అబద్ధములచేత మీరు దుఃఖింపజేయుదురు, దుర్మార్గులు తమ దుష్‌ప్రవర్తన విడిచి తమ ప్రాణములను రక్షించుకొనకుండ మీరు వారిని ధైర్యపరతురు గనుక

20. So this is what the Lord God says to you: You make those cloth bracelets to trap people, but I will set them free. I will tear those bracelets off your arms, and the people will be free from you. They will be like birds flying from a trap.

21. మనుష్యులను వేటాడుటకై మీరు కుట్టు గుడ్డలకు నేను విరోధినై వారిని విడిపించెదను, మీ కౌగిటిలోనుండి వారిని ఊడ బెరికి, మీరు వేటాడు మనుష్యులను నేను విడిపించి తప్పించుకొననిచ్చెదను.

21. And I will tear up those scarves, and save my people from your power. They will escape from your trap, and you will know that I am the Lord.

22. మరియు నేను యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు మీరు వేసిన ముసుకులను నేను చింపి మీ చేతిలోనుండి నా జనులను విడిపించెదను, వేటాడుటకు వారికను మీ వశమున ఉండరు.

22. 'You prophets tell lies. Your lies hurt good people�I did not want to hurt them! You support the wicked and encourage them. You don't tell them to change their lives. You don't try to save their lives!

23. మీరికను వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు కనకయుందురు, సోదె చెప్పక యుందురు; నేను యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు నా జనులను మీ వశమునుండి విడిపించెదను.

23. So you will not see any more useless visions or do any more magic. I will save my people from your power, and you will know that I am the Lord.''
