1. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. The worde of the LORDE came vnto me, sayege:

2. నరపుత్రుడా, ప్రవచించుచున్న ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రవక్తలకు విరోధముగా ప్రవచించి, మనస్సు వచ్చినట్లు ప్రవచించువారితో నీవీలాగు చెప్పుము యెహోవా మాట ఆలకించుడి.

2. Thou sonne of man, Speake prophecie agaynst those prophetes, that preach in Israel: & saye thou vnto them that prophecie out of their owne hertes: Heare the worde of the LORDE,

3. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా దర్శనమేమియు కలుగకున్నను స్వబుద్ధి ననుసరించు అవివేక ప్రవక్తలకు శ్రమ.

3. thus saieth the LORDE God: Wo be vnto those folish prophetes, that folowe their owne sprete, and speake, where they se nothinge.

4. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మీ ప్రవక్తలు పాడైన స్థలములలో నుండు నక్కలతో సాటిగా ఉన్నారు.

4. O Israel, thy prophetes are like the foxes vpon the drie felde:

5. యెహోవా దినమున ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు యుద్ధమందు స్థిరముగా నిలుచు నట్లు మీరు గోడలలోనున్న బీటల దగ్గర నిలువరు, ప్రాకారమును దిట్టపరచరు.

5. For they stonde not in the gappes, nether make they an hedge for the house of Israel, that me might abyde the parell in the daye of the LORDE.

6. వారు వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు చూచి, అబద్ధపు సోదె చూచి యెహోవా తమ్మును పంపక పోయినను, తాము చెప్పినమాట స్థిరమని నమ్మునట్లు ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు అని చెప్పుదురు.

6. Vayne thinges they se, & tell lies, to mayntene their preachinges withall. The LORDE (saye they) hath spoke it, when in very dede the LORDE hath not sent them.

7. నేను సెలవియ్యకపోయినను ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు అని మీరు చెప్పిన యెడల మీరు కనినది వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనముగదా? మీరు నమ్మదగని సోదెగాండ్రయితిరి గదా?

7. Vayne visios haue ye sene, & spoke false prophecies. when ye saye: the LORDE hath spoken it, where as I neuer sayde it.

8. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మీరు వ్యర్థమైన మాటలు పలుకుచు నిరర్థకమైన దర్శనములు కనుచున్నారు గనుక నేను మీకు విరోధిని; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

8. Therfore, thus saieth the LORDE God: Because youre wordes be vayne, & ye seke out lies: Beholde, I wil vpon you, saieth ye LORDE.

9. వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు కనుచు, నమ్మదగని సోదెగాండ్రయిన ప్రవక్తలకు నేను పగవాడను, వారు నా జనుల సభలోనికి రారు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సంఖ్యలో చేరినవారు కాక పోదురు, వారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేశములోనికి తిరిగి రారు, అప్పుడు నేను ప్రభువైన యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

9. Myne hondes shal come vpon the prophetes, that loke out vayne thinges, and preach lies: they shal not be in the councell of my people, ner written in the boke of the house of Israel, nether shal they come in the londe of Israel: that ye maye knowe, how that I am the LORDE God.

10. సమాధానమేమియు లేకపోయినను వారు సమాధానమని చెప్పి నా జనులను మోసపుచ్చు చున్నారు; నా జనులు మంటిగోడను కట్టగా వారు వచ్చి దానిమీద గచ్చుపూత పూసెదరు.
1 థెస్సలొనీకయులకు 5:3, మత్తయి 7:27, అపో. కార్యములు 23:3

10. And that for this cause: they haue disceaued my people, & tolde them of peace, where no peace was. One setteth vp a wall, & they dawbe it with lowse claye.

11. ఇందువలననే పూయుచున్న వారితో నీ విట్లనుము వర్షము ప్రవాహముగా కురియును, గొప్ప వడగండ్లు పడును, తుపాను దాని పడగొట్టగా అది పడిపోవును.

11. Therfore tell them which dawbe it with vntempered morter, that it shall fall. For there shal come a greate shuwer of rayne, greate stones shall fall vpon it, & a sore storme of wynde shal breake it,

12. ఆ గోడ పడగా జనులు మిమ్మును చూచి మీరు పూసిన పూత యేమాయెనని అడుగుదురు గదా?

12. so shal ye wall come downe. Shal it not then be sayde vnto you: where is now the morter, that ye dawbed it withall?

13. ఇందుకు ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నేను రౌద్రము తెచ్చుకొని తుపానుచేత దానిని పడగొట్టుదును, నా కోపమునుబట్టి వర్షము ప్రవాహముగా కురియును, నా రౌద్రమునుబట్టి గొప్ప వడగండ్లు పడి దానిని లయపరచును,

13. Therfore thus saieth the LORDE God: I will breake out in my wrothfull displeasure with a stormy wynde, so that in myne anger there shal come a mightie shuwer of rayne, & hale stones in my wrath, to destroye withall.

14. దాని పునాది కనబడునట్లు మీరు గచ్చుపూత పూసిన గోడను నేను నేలతో సమముగా కూల్చెదను, అది పడిపోగా దానిక్రింద మీరును నాశనమగుదురు, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

14. As for ye wall, that ye haue dawbed with vntempered morter, I wil breake it downe, & make it eauen with the grounde: so that the foundacion therof shal remoue, & it shal fall, yee & ye youre selues shall perish in the myddest therof: to lerne you for to knowe, that I am the LORDE.

15. ఈలాగున ఆ గోడమీదను దానిమీద గచ్చుపూత పూసినవారిమీదను నా కోపము నేను తీర్చుకొని, ఆ గోడకును దానికి పూత పూసినవారికిని పని తీరెనని మీతో చెప్పుదును.

15. Thus wil I perfourme my wrath vpon this wall, & vpon them that haue dawbed it with vntempered morter, and then will I saye vnto you: The wall is gone, & the dawbers are awaye.

16. యెరూషలేమునకు సమాధానము లేకపోయినను ఆ పూత పూయువారు సమాధానార్థమైన దర్శనములు కనుచు ప్రవచించువారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రవక్తలే; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

16. These are the prophetes of Israel, which prophecie vnto the cite of Ierusalem, & loke out visions of peace for them, where as no peace is, saieth the LORDE God.

17. మరియు నరపుత్రుడా, మనస్సునకు వచ్చినట్టు ప్రవచించు నీ జనుల కుమార్తెలమీద కఠినదృష్టియుంచి వారికి విరోధముగా ఈలాగు ప్రవచింపుము

17. Wherfore (o thou sonne of ma,) set thy face agaynst the doughters of yi people, which prophecie out of their owne hertes: & speake thou prophecie agaynst them,

18. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా మనుష్యులను వేటాడ వలెనని చేతుల కీళ్లన్నిటికిని గుడ్డలుకుట్టి, యెవరి యెత్తు చొప్పున వారి తలలకు ముసుకులుచేయు స్త్రీలారా, మీకు శ్రమ; మీరు నా జనులను వేటాడి మిమ్మును రక్షించుకొందురు.

18. & saye: Thus saieth the LORDE God: Wo be vnto you, that sowe pilowes vnder all arme holes, and bolsters vnder the heades both of yonge and olde, to catch soules withall. For when ye haue gotten the soules of my people in youre captiuyte, ye promyse them life,

19. అబద్ధపు మాటల నంగీకరించు నా జనులతో అబద్ధఫు మాటలు చెప్పుచు, చేరెడు యవలకును రొట్టెముక్కలకును ఆశపడి మరణమునకు పాత్రులు కాని వారిని చంపుచు, బ్రదుకుటకు అపాత్రులైన వారిని బ్రదికించుచు నా జనులలో మీరు నన్ను దూషించెదరు.

19. and dishonoure me to my people, for an handfull of barly, & for a pece of bred: when ye kyll the soules of them that dye not, & promyse life to them, that lyue not: Thus ye dyssemble with my people, yt beleueth yor lies.

20. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు నేను దుఃఖపరచని నీతిమంతుని మనస్సును అబద్ధములచేత మీరు దుఃఖింపజేయుదురు, దుర్మార్గులు తమ దుష్‌ప్రవర్తన విడిచి తమ ప్రాణములను రక్షించుకొనకుండ మీరు వారిని ధైర్యపరతురు గనుక

20. Wherfore thus saieth the LORDE God: Beholde, I wil also vpo the pillowes, wherwith ye catch the soules in flyenge: the will I take from youre armes, & let the soules go, that ye catch in flyenge.

21. మనుష్యులను వేటాడుటకై మీరు కుట్టు గుడ్డలకు నేను విరోధినై వారిని విడిపించెదను, మీ కౌగిటిలోనుండి వారిని ఊడ బెరికి, మీరు వేటాడు మనుష్యులను నేను విడిపించి తప్పించుకొననిచ్చెదను.

21. Youre bolsters also wil I teare in peces, & delyuer my people out of youre honde: so that they shal come no more in youre hodes to be spoyled, & ye shal knowe, that I am the LORDE.

22. మరియు నేను యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు మీరు వేసిన ముసుకులను నేను చింపి మీ చేతిలోనుండి నా జనులను విడిపించెదను, వేటాడుటకు వారికను మీ వశమున ఉండరు.

22. Seinge yt with youre lyes ye discomforte the herte of the rightuous, whom I haue not discomforted: Agayne: For so moch as ye corage the honde of the wicked, so that he maye not turne from his wicked waye, & lyue:

23. మీరికను వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు కనకయుందురు, సోదె చెప్పక యుందురు; నేను యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు నా జనులను మీ వశమునుండి విడిపించెదను.

23. therfore shall ye spie out nomore vanyte, ner prophecie youre owne gessinges: for I wil delyuer my people out of youre honde, that ye maye knowe, how that I am the LORDE.
