1. పిమ్మట ఆత్మ నన్ను ఎత్తి యెహోవా మందిరపు తూర్పు గుమ్మము నొద్దకు చేర్చి నన్నుదింపగా గుమ్మపు వాకిట ఇరువదియైదుగురు మనుష్యులు కనబడిరి; వారిలో జనులకు ప్రధానులైన అజ్జూరు కుమారుడగు యజన్యాయు బెనాయా కుమారుడగు పెలట్యాయు నాకు కనబడిరి.

1. MOREOVER, THE Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the East Gate of the Lord's house, which faces east. And behold, at the door of the gateway there were twenty-five men; and I saw in the midst of them Jaazaniah the son of Azzur and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

2. అప్పుడాయన నాకీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను నరపుత్రుడా యీ పట్టణము పచనపాత్రయనియు, మనము మాంసమనియు, ఇండ్లు కట్టుకొన అవసరములేదనియు చెప్పు కొనుచు

2. Then [the Spirit] said to me, Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and give wicked counsel in this city,

3. ఈ పట్ణణములో పాపము యోచించి దురాలోచన చేయువారు వీరే.

3. Who say, [The time] is not near to build houses; this city is the boiling pot and we are the flesh.

4. కావున వారికి విరోధముగా ప్రవచింపుము; నరపుత్రుడా, ప్రవచింపుము.

4. Therefore prophesy against them; prophesy, O son of man!

5. అంతట యెహోవా ఆత్మ నామీదికి వచ్చి ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చిన దేమనగా నీవు నీ మాట వారికి తెలియజేయుము, యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాట యిదే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మీరీ లాగున పలుకుచున్నారే, మీ మనస్సున పుట్టిన అభిప్రాయములు నాకు తెలిసేయున్నవి.

5. And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and He said to me, Speak. Say, Thus says the Lord: This is what you thought, O house of Israel, for I know the things that come into your mind.

6. ఈ పట్టణములో మీరు బహుగా హత్య జరిగించితిరి, మీచేత హతులైన వారితో వీధులు నిండియున్నవి.

6. You have multiplied your slain in this city and you have filled its streets with the slain.

7. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా మీరు హతముచేసి పట్టణములో పడవేసిన శవములే మాంసము, ఈ పట్టణమే పచన పాత్ర, యీ పట్టణములోనుండి మిమ్మును వెళ్ల గొట్టుదును.

7. Therefore thus says the Lord God: Your slain whom you have laid in your midst; they are the flesh and this city is the boiling pot, but you shall be brought forth out of the midst of it.

8. మీరు ఖడ్గమునకు భయపడుచున్నారే, నేనే మీమీదికి ఖడ్గము రప్పించెదను; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

8. You have feared the sword, and I will bring a sword upon you, says the Lord God.

9. మరియు మీకు శిక్ష విధించి పట్టణములోనుండి మిమ్మును వెళ్లగొట్టి అన్యులచేతికి మిమ్మునప్పగించుదును.

9. And I will bring you forth out of the midst of it and deliver you into the hands of foreigners and execute judgments among you.

10. ఇశ్రాయేలు సరిహద్దులలోగానే మీరు ఖడ్గముచేత కూలునట్లు నేను మీకు శిక్ష విధింపగా నేనే యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

10. You shall fall by the sword; I will judge and punish you [before your neighbors] at the border or outside the land of Israel, and you shall know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord.

11. మీరు దాని మధ్య మాంసముగా ఉండునట్లు ఈ పట్టణము మీకు పచనపాత్రగా ఉండదు; నేను ఇశ్రాయేలు సరిహద్దుల యొద్దనే మీకు శిక్ష విధింతును.

11. This city shall not be your boiling pot, neither shall you be the flesh in the midst of it; I will judge you at the border or outside of Israel;

12. అప్పుడు మీ చుట్టు నున్న అన్యజనుల విధుల నాచరించుటకై మీరు ఎవని కట్టడల ననుసరింపక మానితిరో యెవని విధులను ఆచరింపకపోతిరో, ఆ యెహోవానగు నేనే ఆయననని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

12. And you shall know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord; for you have not walked in My statutes nor executed My ordinances, but have acted according to the ordinances of the nations around you.

13. నేను ఆ ప్రకారము ప్రవచింపు చుండగా బెనాయా కుమారుడైన పెలట్యా చచ్చెను గనుక నేను సాష్టాంగపడి యెలుగెత్తి–అయ్యో, ప్రభువా, యెహోవా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల శేషమును నీవు నిర్మూలము చేయుదువా? అని మొఱ్ఱపెట్టితిని.

13. And while I was prophesying, Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down upon my face and cried with a loud voice, Ah, Lord God! Will You make a complete end of the remnant of Israel?

14. అప్పుడు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

14. And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

15. నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూషలేము పట్టణపువారు ఈ దేశము మాకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇయ్య బడెను, మీరు యెహోవాకు దూరస్థులుగా నుండుడి, అని యెవరితో చెప్పుచున్నారో వారందరు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులై నీకు సాక్షాద్బంధువులును నీచేత బంధుత్వధర్మము నొందవలసినవారునై యున్నారు.

15. Son of man, your brethren, even your kindred, your fellow exiles, and all the house of Israel, all of them, are they of whom the [present] inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, They have gone far from the Lord [and from this land]; therefore this land is given to us for a possession.

16. కాబట్టి వారికి ఈ మాట ప్రకటింపుము ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా దూరముననున్న అన్యజనులలోనికి నేను వారిని తోలివేసినను, ఆ యా దేశములలో వారిని చెదరగొట్టినను, వారు వెళ్ళిన ఆ యా దేశములలో కొంతకాలము నేను వారికి పరిశుద్ధాలయముగా ఉందును.

16. Therefore say, Thus says the Lord God: Whereas I have removed [Israel] far off among the nations, and whereas I have scattered them among the countries, yet I have been to them a sanctuary for a little while in the countries to which they have come.

17. కాగా నీవు ఈ మాట ప్రకటింపుము ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చున దేమనగా ఆ యా జనముల మధ్యనుండి నేను మిమ్మును సమకూర్చి, మీరు చెదరగొట్టబడిన దేశములలో నుండి మిమ్మును రప్పించి, ఇశ్రాయేలుదేశమును మీ వశము చేసెదను.

17. Therefore say, Thus says the Lord God: I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give back to you the land of Israel.

18. వారు అక్కడికి వచ్చి అక్కడ తాముంచియున్న విగ్రహములను తీసివేసి, తాము చేసియున్న హేయక్రియలు చేయుట మానుదురు.

18. And when they return there, they shall take away from it all traces of its detestable things and all its abominations (sex impurities and heathen religious practices).

19. వారు నా కట్ట డలను నా విధులను అనుసరించి గైకొను నట్లు నేను వారి శరీరములలోనుండి రాతిగుండెను తీసివేసి వారికి మాంసపు గుండెను ఇచ్చి, వారికి ఏకమనస్సు కలుగజేసి వారియందు నూతన ఆత్మ పుట్టింతును.

19. And I will give them one heart [a new heart] and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony [unnaturally hardened] heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh [sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God], [Ezek. 18:31; 36:26; II Cor. 3:3.]

20. అప్పుడు వారు నాకు జనులై యుందురు నేను వారికి దేవుడనై యుందును.

20. That they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances, and do them. And they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

21. అయితే తమ విగ్రహములను అనుసరించుచు, తాము చేయుచు వచ్చిన హేయక్రియలను జరిగింప బూనువారి మీదికి తమ ప్రవర్తన ఫలము రప్పింతును; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

21. But as for those whose heart yearns for and goes after their detestable things and their loathsome abominations [associated with idolatry], I will repay their deeds upon their own heads, says the Lord God.

22. కెరూబులు తమ రెక్కలు చాచెను, చక్రములును వాటి ప్రక్కనుండెను అంతలో ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుని మహిమ వాటికి పైన నుండెను.

22. Then the cherubim lifted up their wings with the wheels which were beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel [the Shekinah, cloud] was over them.

23. మరియు యెహోవా మహిమ పట్టణములో నుండి పైకెక్కి పట్టణపు తూర్పుదిశనున్న కొండకుపైగా నిలిచెను.

23. Then the glory of the Lord rose up from over the midst of the city and stood over the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

24. తరువాత ఆత్మ నన్ను ఎత్తి, నేను దైవాత్మవశుడను కాగా, దర్శనములో నైనట్టు కల్దీయులదేశమునందు చెరలో ఉన్నవారియొద్దకు నన్ను దింపెను. అంతలో నాకు కనబడిన దర్శనము కనబడకుండ పైకెక్కెను.

24. And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to the exiles. Then the vision that I had seen went up from me.

25. అప్పుడు యెహోవా నాకు ప్రత్యక్షపరచిన వాటినన్నిటిని చెరలో ఉన్నవారికి నేను తెలియజేసితిని.

25. And I told the exiles everything that the Lord had shown me.
