1. Twenty-one years old, was Zedekiah when he began to reign, and eleven years, reigned he, in Jerusalem, and, his mother's name, was Hamutal, daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

2. యెహోయాకీము నడిచిన చెడ్డనడత ప్రకారముగా సిద్కియాయు యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడ్డనడత నడిచెను.

2. And he did that which was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.

3. యెహోవా కోపపడి తనయెదుట నుండకుండ వారిని తోలివేయునంతగా ఆ చర్య యెరూషలేములోను యూదాలోను జరిగెను. సిద్కియా బబులోను రాజుమీద తిరుగుబాటుచేయగా

3. For it was, because the anger of Yahweh, had come against Jerusalem and Judah until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

4. అతని యేలుబడియందు తొమ్మిదవ సంవత్సరము పదియవ నెల పదియవ దినమున బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు తన సైన్యమంతటితో యెరూషలేముమీదికి వచ్చి, దానికి ఎదురుగా దండు దిగినప్పుడు పట్టణమునకు చుట్టు కోటలు కట్టిరి.

4. And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his force, against Jerusalem, and encamped against it, and he built against it a siege-wall round about.

5. ఆలాగు జరుగగా సిద్కియా యేలుబడియందు పదకొండవ సంవ త్సరమువరకు పట్టణము ముట్టడిలో నుంచబడెను.

5. And the city came into the siege, until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.

6. నాల్గవ నెల తొమ్మిదవ దినమున క్షామము పట్టణములో హెచ్చుగా నున్నప్పుడు దేశ ప్రజలకు ఆహారము లేకపోయెను.

6. In the fourth month on the ninth of the month, when the famine had become severe in the city, and there had come to be no bread for the people of the land,

7. పట్టణప్రాకారములు పడగొట్టబడగా సైనికులందరు పారి పోయి రాజుతోటకు దాపైన రెండు గోడల మధ్యనున్న ద్వారపు మార్గమున రాత్రియందు పట్టణములోనుండి బయలు వెళ్లిరి; కల్దీయులు పట్టణమును చుట్టుకొని యుండగా సైనికులు యొర్దానునది మార్గముగా తర్లిపోయిరి.

7. then was the city broken up, and all the men of war, beginning to flee went forth out of the city by night, by way of the gate between the two walls which was by the garden of the king the Chaldeans being near the city round about, and they went the way towards the Waste Plain.

8. కల్దీయుల దండు సిద్కియా రాజును తరిమి యెరికో మైదానములో అతని కలిసికొనగా అతని దండంతయు అతనియొద్దనుండి చెదరిపోయెను.

8. And the force of the Chaldeans pursued the king, and overtook Zedekiah, in the Waste Plains of Jericho, and, all his force, was scattered from him.

9. వారు రాజును పట్టు కొని హమాతు దేశమునందలి రిబ్లాపట్టణమున నున్న బబు లోను రాజునొద్దకు అతని తీసికొనిపోగా అతడు అచ్చటనే సిద్కియా రాజునకు శిక్షవిధించెను.

9. So they seized the king, and brought him up, unto the king of Babylon at Riblah, in the land of Hamath, and he pronounced upon him sentences of judgment.

10. బబులోను రాజు సిద్కియా కుమారులను అతని కన్నులయెదుట చంపించెను; మరియు అతడు రిబ్లాలో యూదా అధిపతుల నందరిని చంపించెను. బబులోను రాజు సిద్కియా కన్నులు ఊడ దీయించి

10. And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, moreover also all the princes of Judah, slew he in Riblah;

11. రెండు సంకెళ్లతో అతని బంధించి, బబులోను నకు అతని తీసికొనిపోయి, మరణమగువరకు చెరసాలలో అతనిపెట్టించెను.

11. and the eyes of Zedekiah, put he out, and bound him with fetters of bronze and the king of Babylon took him to Babylon, and put him in prison until the day of his death.

12. అయిదవ నెల పదియవ దినమున, అనగా బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు ఏలుబడియందు పందొమ్మిదవ సంవత్సరమున బబులోనురాజు ఎదుట నిలుచు నెబూజర దానను రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతి యెరూషలేమునకు వచ్చెను.

12. And in the fifth month on the tenth of the month, the same, was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, chief of the royal executioners, who stood before the king of Babylon into, Jerusalem;

13. అతడు యెహోవా మందిరమును రాజునగరును యెరూషలేములోని గొప్పవారి యిండ్లనన్నిటిని కాల్చి వేసెను.

13. and he burned the house of Yahweh and the house of the king, yea all the houses of Jerusalem even every great man's house, burned he with fire;

14. మరియు రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతితోకూడ నుండిన కల్దీ యుల సేనాసంబంధులందరు యెరూషలేము చుట్టునున్న ప్రాకారములన్నిటిని పడగొట్టిరి

14. and all the walls of Jerusalem round about, did all the force of the Chaldeans who were with the chief of the royal executioners, break down.

15. మరియు రాజ దేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతియైన నెబూజరదాను ప్రజ లలో కడుబీదలైన కొందరిని, పట్టణములో శేషించిన కొదువ ప్రజలను, బబులోనురాజు పక్షము చేరినవారిని, గట్టి పనివారిలో శేషించినవారిని చెరగొని పోయెను.

15. And seine of the poor of the people and the residue of the people who were left in the city, and the disheartened who had fallen away unto the king of Babylon and the residue of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan chief of the royal executioners carry away captive.

16. అయితే రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతియైన నెబూజర దాను ద్రాక్షావనములను చక్కపరచుటకును సేద్యము చేయుటకును కడుబీదలలో కొందరిని ఉండనిచ్చెను.

16. But, others of the poor of the land, did Nebuzaradan chief of the royal executioners leave, for vinedressers and for husbandmen.

17. మరియు యెహోవా మందిరములోనుండిన ఇత్తడి స్తంభ ములను మందిరములోనుండిన మట్లను ఇత్తడి సముద్రమును కల్దీయులు తునకలుగా కొట్టి ఆ ఇత్తడి అంతయు బబు లోనునకు గొనిపోయిరి.

17. And the pillars of bronze that pertained to the house of Yahweh and the stands and the sea of bronze which was in the house of Yahweh, did the Chaldeans, break in pieces, and they carried away all the bronze of them to Babylon;

18. అదియుగాక వారు బిందెలను కుండలను కత్తెరలను గిన్నెలను గరిటెలను యాజకులు సేవ చేయు ఇత్తడి ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని గొనిపోయిరి.

18. and the caldrons and the shovels and the snuffers and the dashing bowls, and the spoons even all the utensils of bronze wherewith ministration used to he made did they take away;

19. మరియు పళ్లెములను ధూపార్తులను గిన్నెలను పాత్రలను, బంగారు వాటిని బంగారునకును వెండివాటిని వెండికిని చేర్చుకొని రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతి గొనిపోయెను.

19. and the basins and the censers and the dashing bowls and the caldrons and the lamps and the spoons and the cups, which were of gold in gold, and which were of silver in silver, did the chief of the royal executioners, take away.

20. రాజైన సొలొమోను యెహోవా మందిరమునకు చేయించిన రెండు స్తంభములను సముద్రమును మట్లక్రిందనుండిన పండ్రెండు ఇత్తడి వృషభములను గొనిపోయెను. వీటి కన్నిటికున్న ఇత్తడి యెత్తువేయుటకు అసాధ్యము.

20. As for the two pillars the one sea, and the twelve oxen of bronze which were under the stands which King Solomon had made for the house of Yahweh, without weight was the bronze of all these things.

21. వాటిలో ఒక్కొక్క స్తంభము పదునెనిమిది మూరల యెత్తుగలది, పండ్రెండు మూరల నూలు దాని చుట్టు తిరుగును, దాని దళసరి నాలుగు వ్రేళ్లు; అది గుల్లది.

21. Now as for the pillars, eighteen cubits, was the height of each pillar, and, a line of twelve cubits, compassed it about, and the thickness thereof was four fingers breadth hollow;

22. దానిమీద ఇత్తడి పైపీట యుండెను; ఒక్క పైపీట అయి దేసి మూరల ఎత్తుగలది, పైపీటకు చుట్టు అల్లిన వల అల్లి కయు దానిమ్మ పండ్లును ఉండెను; అవి యన్నియు ఇత్త డివి. ఈ స్తంభమునకును ఆ స్తంభమునకును ఆలాగుననే దానిమ్మ పండ్లుండెను.

22. and there was, a capital, upon it, of bronze, and the height of each capital, was five cubits, with lattice-work and pomegranates upon the capital round about the whole was of bronze, and like these, were the second pillar and the pomegranates.

23. ప్రక్కలయందు తొంబదియారు దానిమ్మపండ్లుండెను; చుట్టు ఉండిన వల అల్లికమీద దానిమ్మపండ్లన్నియు నూరు.

23. And the pomegranates were ninety-six on a side, all the pomegranates were a hundred upon the lattice-work round about.

24. మరియు రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతి ప్రధానయాజకుడైన శెరాయాను రెండవ యాజకుడైన జెఫన్యాను ముగ్గురు ద్వారపాలకులను పట్టు కొనెను.

24. And the chief of the royal executioners, took away, Seraiah the first priest, and Zephaniah, the second priest, and the three keepers of the entrance-hall;

25. అతడు పట్టణములోనుండి యోధులమీద నియ మింపబడిన యొక ఉద్యోగస్ధుని, పట్టణములో దొరికిన రాజసన్నిధిలో నిలుచు ఏడుగురు మనుష్యులను, దేశ సైన్యాధిపతియగు వానియొక్క లేఖరిని, పట్టణపు మధ్యను దొరికిన అరువదిమంది దేశప్రజలను పట్టుకొనెను.

25. and out of the city, took he one eunuch who was in charge over the men f war and seven men of them who used to watch the face of the king, who were found in the city, and the scribe of the prince of the host, who used to muster the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land, who were found in the midst of the city.

26. రాజ దేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతియైన నెబూజరదాను వీరిని పట్టు కొని రిబ్లాలో నుండిన బబులోనురాజు నొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చెను.

26. And when Nebuzaradan chief the royal executioners, bad taken them, and brought them unto the king of Babylon at Riblah,

27. బబులోనురాజు హమాతుదేశమందలి రిబ్లాలో వారిని కొట్టించి చంపించి యూదా వారిని తమ దేశములో నుండి చెరగొనిపోయెను.

27. then did the king of Babylon smite them and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath, thus carried he Judah captive away from off their own soil.

28. నెబుకద్రెజరు తన యేలుబడి యందు ఏడవ సంవత్సరమున మూడువేల ఇరువది ముగ్గురు యూదులను చెరగొనిపోయెను

28. This, is the people, whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive, In the seventh year of them of Judah, three thousand and twenty-three;

29. నెబుకద్రెజరు ఏలుబడి యందు పదునెనిమిదవ సంవత్సరమున అతడు యెరూష లేమునుండి ఎనిమిదివందల ముప్పది యిద్దరిని చెరగొని పోయెను.

29. In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar out of Jerusalem, eight hundred and thirty-two souls;

30. నెబుకద్రెజరు ఏలుబడియందు ఇరువది మూడవ సంవత్సరమున రాజ దేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతియగు నెబూజరదాను యూదులలో ఏడువందల నలుబది యయిదుగురు మనుష్యులను చెరగొనిపోయెను; ఆ మను ష్యుల వెరసి నాలుగువేల ఆరువందలు.

30. In the three-and-twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar, Nebuzaradan, chief of the royal executioners took away captive, of them of Judah, seven hundred and forty-five souls: All, the souls, were four thousand and six hundred.

31. యూదారాజైన యెహోయాకీను చెరపట్టబడిన ముప్పది యేడవ సంవత్సరమున పండ్రెండవ నెల యిరువదియైదవ దినమున బబులోనురాజైన ఎవీల్మెరోదకు తన యేలుబడి యందు మొదటి సంవత్సరమున యూదారాజైన యెహో యాకీనునకు దయచూపి, బందీగృహములోనుండి అతని తెప్పించి

31. And it came to pass, in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the year he began to reign, lifted up, the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison;

32. అతనితో దయగా మాటలాడి అతనితోకూడ బబులోనులోనుండు రాజుల సింహాసనముకంటె ఎత్తయిన సింహాసనము అతనికి నియమించెను.

32. and spake with him comfortable words, and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon;

33. మరియు అతడు తన బందీగృహ వస్త్రములు తీసివేసి వేరు వస్త్రములు ధరించి కొని తన జీవితకాలమంతయు ఎవీల్మెరోదకు సన్నిధిని భోజనము చేయుచువచ్చెను.

33. so he changed his prison garments, and used to eat bread before his face continually, all the days of his life.

34. And his allowance, was a continual allowance given him from the king of Babylon the portion of the day upon its own day, until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
