1. మోయాబును గూర్చినది. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు. నెబోకు శ్రమ, అది పాడైపోవుచున్నది. కిర్యతాయిము పట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొందుచున్నది ఎత్తయిన కోట పడగొట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొందుచున్నది ఇకను మోయాబునకు ప్రసిద్ధియుండదు.

1. About Moab, the Lord of All, the God of Israel, says, 'It is bad for Nebo, for it has been destroyed. Kiriathaim has been put to shame and taken. The high, strong-place has been put to shame and crushed.

2. హెష్బోనులో వారు అది ఇకను జనము కాకపోవునట్లు దాని కొట్టివేయుదము రండని చెప్పుకొనుచు దానికి కీడు చేయ నుద్దేశించుచున్నారు మద్మేనా, నీవును ఏమియు చేయలేకపోతివి. ఖడ్గము నిన్ను తరుముచున్నది.

2. The praise for Moab has come to an end. In Heshbon they have planned trouble against her, saying, 'Come, let us destroy her from being a nation!' You, O Madmen, will be made quiet also. The sword will follow you.

3. ఆలకించుడి, హొరొనయీమునుండి రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది దోపుడు జరుగుచున్నది మహాపజయము సంభవించు చున్నది.

3. Listen, the sound of a cry from Horonaim, saying, 'Laid waste and all destroyed!'

4. మోయాబు రాజ్యము లయమై పోయెను దాని బిడ్డల రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది.

4. Moab is destroyed. The cry of her little ones is heard.

5. హొరొనయీము దిగుదలలో పరాజితుల రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది జనులు లూహీతు నెక్కుచు ఏడ్చుచున్నారు ఏడ్చుచు ఎక్కుచున్నారు.

5. They go up the hill of Luhith crying all the time. For at the hill of Horonaim they have heard the troubled cry of those who are being destroyed.

6. పారిపోవుడి మీ ప్రాణములను దక్కించుకొనుడి అరణ్యములోని అరుహవృక్షమువలె ఉండుడి.

6. Run fast! Run for your lives! You will be like a bush in the desert.

7. నీవు నీ క్రియలను ఆశ్రయించితివి నీ నిధులను నమ్ము కొంటివి నీవును పట్టుకొనబడెదవు, కెమోషుదేవత చెరలోనికి పోవును ఒకడు తప్పకుండ వాని యాజకులును అధిపతులును చెరలోనికి పోవుదురు.

7. Because you have trusted in your own works and riches, you also will be taken. And Chemosh will go away to a strange land together with his religious leaders and important men.

8. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునట్లు సంహారకుడు ప్రతి పట్టణముమీదికి వచ్చును ఏ పట్టణమును తప్పించుకొనజాలదు లోయకూడ నశించును మైదానము పాడైపోవును.

8. The destroyer will come to every city. No city will be free from him. The valley and the plain will be destroyed also, as the Lord has said.

9. మోయాబునకు రెక్కలు పెట్టుడి అది వేగిరముగా బయలుదేరి పోవలెను. నివాసి యెవడును లేకుండ దాని పట్టణములు పాడగును.

9. Give wings to Moab, for she will fly away. Her cities will become a waste, with no people living in them.

10. యెహోవా కార్యమును అశ్రద్ధగా చేయువాడు శాపగ్రస్తు డగును గాక రక్తము ఓడ్చకుండ ఖడ్డము దూయువాడు శాపగ్రస్తు డగును గాక.

10. The one who does the Lord's work without care is cursed. Cursed is the one who keeps his sword from blood.

11. మోయాబు తన బాల్యమునుండి నెమ్మది నొందెను ఈ కుండలోనుండి ఆ కుండలోనికి కుమ్మరింపబడకుండ అది మడ్డిమీద నిలిచెను అదెన్నడును చెరలోనికి పోయినది కాదు అందుచేత దాని సారము దానిలో నిలిచియున్నది దాని వాసన ఎప్పటివలెనే నిలుచుచున్నది.

11. 'Moab has been at rest since he was young. He has been like wine which sits a long time, not being poured from jar to jar. He has not gone away to a strange land. So he keeps his taste, and his smell is not changed.

12. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు రాగల దినములలో నేను దానియొద్దకు కుమ్మరించు వారిని పంపెదను. వారు దాని కుమ్మరించి దాని పాత్రలను వెలితిచేసివారి జాడీలను పగులగొట్టెదరు.

12. The days are coming,' says the Lord, 'when I will send to him those who turn over jars, and they will turn him over. They will empty his jars and break them in pieces.

13. ఇశ్రాయేలువారు తామాశ్రయించిన బేతేలునుబట్టి సిగ్గుపడినట్లు మోయాబీయులును కెమోషునుబట్టి సిగ్గుపడుచున్నారు

14. మేము బలాఢ్యులమనియు యుద్ధశూరులమనియు మీరెట్లు చెప్పుకొందురు?

14. How can you say, 'We are strong soldiers and powerful men of war'?

15. మోయాబు పాడైపోవుచున్నది శత్రువులు దాని పట్టణములలో చొరబడుచున్నారు వారి యౌవనులలో శ్రేష్ఠులు వధకు పోవుచున్నారు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా అను పేరుగల రాజు సెలవిచ్చినమాట యిదే.

15. Moab has been destroyed, and men have gone up to his cities. His best young men have gone down to be killed,' says the King, Whose name is the Lord of All.

16. మోయాబునకు సమూలనాశనము సమీపించుచున్నది దానికి సంభవించు దుఃఖము త్వరపడి వచ్చుచున్నది.

16. The trouble of Moab will soon come. His suffering comes in a hurry.

17. దానిచుట్టునున్న మీరందరు దానినిగూర్చి అంగలార్చుడి దాని కీర్తినిగూర్చి విననివారలారా, అంగలార్చుడి బలమైన రాజదండము ప్రభావముగల రాజదండము విరిగిపోయెనే యని చెప్పుకొనుడి.

17. Have sorrow for him, all you who live around him, and all who know his name. Say, 'How his power has been broken, the greatness of his power!'

18. దేబోనులో ఆసీనురాలై యుండుదానా, మోయాబును పాడుచేసినవాడు నీ మీదికి వచ్చు చున్నాడు. నీ కోటలను నశింపజేయుచున్నాడు. నీ గొప్పతనము విడిచి దిగిరమ్ముఎండినదేశములో కూర్చుండుము.

18. Come down from your greatness and sit on the hot ground, O you who live in Dibon. For the destroyer of Moab has come up against you. He has destroyed your strong-places built for battle.

19. ఆరోయేరు నివాసీ, త్రోవలో నిలిచి కనిపెట్టుము పారిపోవుచున్న వారియొద్ద విచారించుము తప్పించుకొనిపోవుచున్నవారిని అడుగుము ఏమి జరిగినదో వారివలన తెలిసికొనుము.

19. Stand by the road and keep watch, O you who live in Aroer. Ask the man or woman who runs away, 'What has happened?'

20. మోయాబు పడగొట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొంది యున్నది గోలయెత్తి కేకలువేయుము మోయాబు అపజయము నొందెను. అర్నోనులో ఈ సంగతి తెలియజెప్పుడి

20. Moab has been put to shame, for it is broken down. Cry out. Let it be known by the Arnon that Moab has been destroyed.

21. మైదానములోని దేశమునకు శిక్ష విధింపబడియున్నది హోలోనునకును యాహసునకును మేఫాతునకును దీబోనుకును

21. Punishment has come upon the plain, against Holon, Jahzah, Mephaath,

22. నెబోకును బేత్‌దిబ్లాతయీమునకును కిర్యతాయిమున కును బేత్గామూలునకును

22. Dibon, Nebo, Beth-diblathaim,

23. బేత్మెయోనునకును కెరీయోతునకును బొస్రాకును దూరమైనట్టియు సమీపమైనట్టియు

23. Kiriathaim, Beth-gamul, Beth-meon,

24. మోయాబుదేశ పురములన్నిటికిని శిక్ష విధింపబడి యున్నది.

24. Kerioth, Bozrah, and all the cities of the land of Moab, far and near.

25. మోయాబు శృంగము నరికివేయబడియున్నది దాని బాహువు విరువబడియున్నది యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే.

25. Moab's strength has been cut off, and his arm broken,' says the Lord.

26. మోయాబు యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా తన్ను తాను గొప్పచేసికొనెను దాని మత్తిల్లజేయుడి మోయాబు తన వమనములో పొర్లుచున్నది అది అపహాస్యమునొందును.

26. 'Make him drunk, for he has become proud before the Lord. So Moab will roll in the food he has thrown up, and be laughed at.

27. ఇశ్రాయేలును నీవు అపహాస్యాస్పదముగా ఎంచలేదా? అతడు దొంగలకు జతగాడైనట్టుగా నీవు అతనిగూర్చి పలుకునప్పుడెల్ల తల ఆడించుచు వచ్చితివి

27. Did you not laugh at Israel? Or was he found among robbers? For each time you speak about him you laugh and shake your head.

28. మోయాబు నివాసులారా, పట్టణములు విడువుడి కొండపేటు సందులలో గూడు కట్టుకొను గువ్వలవలె కొండలో కాపురముండుడి.

28. Leave the cities and live among the rocks, O people of Moab. Be like a dove that has its nest in a hole in the side of the rock.

29. మోయోబీయుల గర్వమునుగూర్చి వింటిమి, వారు బహు గర్వపోతులు వారి అతిశయమునుగూర్చియు గర్వమునుగూర్చియు

29. We have heard of the pride of Moab. He is very proud. We have heard of all his pride and how he honors himself.

30. అహంకారమునుగూర్చియు పొగరునుగూర్చియు మాకు సమాచారము వచ్చెను వారి తామసమును వచించరాని వారి ప్రగల్భములును నాకు తెలిసేయున్నవి చేయదగని క్రియలు వారు బహుగా చేయుచున్నారు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు

30. I know his anger,' says the Lord, 'but it is of no use. His proud words have done nothing.

31. కాబట్టి మోయాబు నిమిత్తము నేను అంగలార్చు చున్నాను మోయాబు అంతటిని చూచి కేకలు వేయుచున్నాను వారు కీర్హరెశు జనులు లేకపోయిరని మొఱ్ఱపెట్టుచున్నారు.

31. So I will cry in a loud voice for Moab. I will cry out for all Moab. I will have sorrow for the men of Kir-heres.

32. సిబ్మా ద్రాక్షవల్లీ, యాజెరునుగూర్చిన యేడ్పును మించునట్లు నేను నిన్నుగూర్చి యేడ్చుచున్నాను నీ తీగెలు ఈ సముద్రమును దాటి వ్యాపించెను అవి యాజెరుసముద్రమువరకు వ్యాపించెను నీ వేసవికాల ఫలములమీదను ద్రాక్షగెలలమీదను పాడుచేయువాడు పడెను.

32. I will cry for you more than for Jazer, O vine of Sibmah! Your branches have gone over the sea, even to the sea of Jazer. The destroyer has fallen upon your summer fruits and your grapes.

33. ఫలభరితమైన పొలములోనుండియు మోయాబు దేశములోనుండియు ఆనందమును సంతోషమును తొలగిపోయెను ద్రాక్షగానుగలలో ద్రాక్షారసమును లేకుండ చేయు చున్నాను జనులు సంతోషించుచు త్రొక్కరు సంతోషము నిస్సంతోషమాయెను.

33. Happiness and joy have been taken away from the land of Moab with all its fruit. I have stopped the crushing of the grapes to make wine. No one crushes them under foot. The noise they make is not the sound of joy.

34. నిమీములో నీళ్లు సహితము ఎండిపోయెను హెష్బోను మొదలుకొని ఏలాలేవరకును యాహసు వరకును సోయరు మొదలుకొని హొరొనయీమువరకును ఎగ్లాత్షాలిషావరకును జనులు కేకలువేయుచున్నారు.

34. They cry out from Heshbon even to Elealeh, even to Jahaz, and from Zoar even to Horonaim and to Eglath-shelishiyah. Even the waters of Nimrim have become a waste.

35. ఉన్నతస్థలమున బలులు అర్పించువారిని దేవతలకు ధూపమువేయువారిని మోయాబులో లేకుండజేసెను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

35. And I will make an end of Moab,' says the Lord. 'I will destroy the one who gives gifts of worship on the high place and burns special perfume to his gods.

36. వారు సంపాదించినదానిలో శేషించినది నశించి పోయెను మోయాబునుగూర్చి నా గుండె పిల్లనగ్రోవివలె నాదము చేయుచున్నది కీర్హరెశువారినిగూర్చి నా గుండె పిల్లనగ్రోవివలె వాగు చున్నది.

36. 'So My heart cries out for Moab like a horn. My heart cries like a horn also for the men of Kir-heres. The riches they had for themselves have been lost.

37. నిశ్చయముగా ప్రతి తల బోడియాయెను ప్రతి గడ్డము గొరిగింపబడెను చేతులన్నిటిమీద నరుకులును నడుములమీద గోనెపట్టయు నున్నవి.

37. The hair has been cut from every head, and the hair has been cut short on every face. There are cuts on all the hands, and they wear clothes made from hair.

38. మోయాబు ఇంటి పైకప్పులన్నిటిమీదను దాని వీధులలోను అంగలార్పు వినబడుచున్నది ఒకడు పనికిమాలిన ఘటమును పగులగొట్టునట్లు నేను మోయాబును పగులగొట్టుచున్నాను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

38. On all the roofs of Moab and in its streets there are cries of sorrow everywhere. For I have broken Moab like a pot that is not wanted,' says the Lord.

39. అంగలార్చుడి మోయాబు సమూలధ్వంసమాయెను మోయాబూ, నీవు వెనుకకు తిరిగితివే, సిగ్గుపడుము. మోయాబు తన చుట్టునున్న వారికందరికి అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను భయకారణముగాను ఉండును.

39. 'How broken it is! How they cry! How Moab has turned his back in shame! So Moab has become something to laugh at and hate to all those around him.'

40. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా పక్షిరాజు ఎగురునట్లు ఎగిరి అది మోయాబు మీద తన రెక్కలను చాపుచున్నది.

40. For the Lord says, 'One will fly fast like an eagle, and spread out his wings against Moab.

41. కోటలు పడగొట్టబడియున్నవి దుర్గములు పట్టబడి యున్నవి. ఆ దినమున మోయాబు శూరుల హృదయము ప్రసవించు స్త్రీ హృదయమువలె ఉండును.

41. Kerieth has been taken, and the strong-places built for battle have been taken. In that day the hearts of the strong men of Moab will be like the heart of a woman giving birth.

42. మోయాబు యెహోవాకంటె గొప్పవాడనని అతిశయపడగా అది జనము కాకుండ నిర్మూలమాయెను.

42. Moab will be destroyed and will no longer be a nation, because he was proud before the Lord.

43. మోయాబు నివాసీ, భయమును గుంటయు ఉరియు నీమీదికి వచ్చియున్నవి

43. Fear, traps and nets are coming upon you, O you who live in Moab,' says the Lord.

44. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. భయము తప్పించుకొనుటకై పారిపోవువారు గుంటలో పడుదురు గుంటలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనువారు ఉరిలో చిక్కు కొందురు మోయాబుమీదికి విమర్శ సంవత్సరమును నేను రప్పించుచున్నాను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. దేశ పరిత్యాగులగువారు బలహీనులై హెష్బోనునీడలో నిలిచియున్నారు.

44. 'The one who runs from trouble will fall into the trap. And the one who comes up out of the trap will be caught in the net. For I will bring these things upon Moab in the year of their punishment,' says the Lord.

45. హెష్బోనులోనుండి అగ్నియు సీహోను మధ్యనుండి జ్వాలలును బయలుదేరి

45. 'In the shadow of Heshbon, those who have run for their lives stand without strength. For a fire has gone out from Heshbon and from Sihon. It has destroyed the forehead of Moab and the top of the heads of the trouble-makers.

46. మోయాబు శిరస్సును, సందడిచేయువారి నడినెత్తిని కాల్చివేయుచున్నవి. మోయాబూ, నీకు శ్రమ కెమోషుజనులు నశించియున్నారు నీ కుమారులు చెరపట్టబడిరి చెరపట్టబడినవారిలో నీ కుమార్తెలున్నారు.

46. It is bad for you, Moab! The people of Chemosh have been destroyed. Your sons and daughters have been taken away in chains.

47. అయితే అంత్యదినములలో చెరపట్టబడిన మోయాబు వారిని నేను తిరిగి రప్పించెదను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. ఇంతటితో మోయాబునుగూర్చిన శిక్షావిధి ముగిసెను.

47. Yet I will return the people of Moab to their land in the last days,' says the Lord. This is the punishment of Moab.
