1. మోయాబును గూర్చినది. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు. నెబోకు శ్రమ, అది పాడైపోవుచున్నది. కిర్యతాయిము పట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొందుచున్నది ఎత్తయిన కోట పడగొట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొందుచున్నది ఇకను మోయాబునకు ప్రసిద్ధియుండదు.

1. So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, against Moab: Woe to Nebo, for it is ravaged! Kiriathaim is put to shame and captured. The fortress is put to shame and razed.

2. హెష్బోనులో వారు అది ఇకను జనము కాకపోవునట్లు దాని కొట్టివేయుదము రండని చెప్పుకొనుచు దానికి కీడు చేయ నుద్దేశించుచున్నారు మద్మేనా, నీవును ఏమియు చేయలేకపోతివి. ఖడ్గము నిన్ను తరుముచున్నది.

2. Moab shall not still be praised. In Heshbon they have plotted evil against it, saying, Come and let us cut it off as a nation. And you shall be silenced, O madmen; a sword will go after you,

3. ఆలకించుడి, హొరొనయీమునుండి రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది దోపుడు జరుగుచున్నది మహాపజయము సంభవించు చున్నది.

3. a voice of crying from Horonaim, plundering and great ruin!

4. మోయాబు రాజ్యము లయమై పోయెను దాని బిడ్డల రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది.

4. Moab is broken up; her little ones have caused a cry to be heard.

5. హొరొనయీము దిగుదలలో పరాజితుల రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది జనులు లూహీతు నెక్కుచు ఏడ్చుచున్నారు ఏడ్చుచు ఎక్కుచున్నారు.

5. For in the ascent to Luhith, they shall go up with great weeping. For in the descent to Horonaim, the enemies have heard a cry of ruin.

6. పారిపోవుడి మీ ప్రాణములను దక్కించుకొనుడి అరణ్యములోని అరుహవృక్షమువలె ఉండుడి.

6. Flee! Save your lives, and be like a naked thing in the wilderness.

7. నీవు నీ క్రియలను ఆశ్రయించితివి నీ నిధులను నమ్ము కొంటివి నీవును పట్టుకొనబడెదవు, కెమోషుదేవత చెరలోనికి పోవును ఒకడు తప్పకుండ వాని యాజకులును అధిపతులును చెరలోనికి పోవుదురు.

7. For because you have trusted in your works and in your treasures, you shall also be captured. And Chemosh shall go into exile; both his priests and his rulers.

8. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునట్లు సంహారకుడు ప్రతి పట్టణముమీదికి వచ్చును ఏ పట్టణమును తప్పించుకొనజాలదు లోయకూడ నశించును మైదానము పాడైపోవును.

8. And a plunderer shall come on every city, and no city shall escape. Also the valley shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed, as Jehovah has spoken.

9. మోయాబునకు రెక్కలు పెట్టుడి అది వేగిరముగా బయలుదేరి పోవలెను. నివాసి యెవడును లేకుండ దాని పట్టణములు పాడగును.

9. Give wings to Moab, for it will fly away; and its cities shall be a desert, without an inhabitant in them.

10. యెహోవా కార్యమును అశ్రద్ధగా చేయువాడు శాపగ్రస్తు డగును గాక రక్తము ఓడ్చకుండ ఖడ్డము దూయువాడు శాపగ్రస్తు డగును గాక.

10. Cursed is he who does the work of Jehovah deceitfully, and cursed is he who keeps back his sword from blood.

11. మోయాబు తన బాల్యమునుండి నెమ్మది నొందెను ఈ కుండలోనుండి ఆ కుండలోనికి కుమ్మరింపబడకుండ అది మడ్డిమీద నిలిచెను అదెన్నడును చెరలోనికి పోయినది కాదు అందుచేత దాని సారము దానిలో నిలిచియున్నది దాని వాసన ఎప్పటివలెనే నిలుచుచున్నది.

11. Moab has been at ease from his youth, and he has settled on his lees and has not been emptied from vessel to vessel. He has not gone into captivity. So his taste remains in him, and his scent is not changed.

12. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు రాగల దినములలో నేను దానియొద్దకు కుమ్మరించు వారిని పంపెదను. వారు దాని కుమ్మరించి దాని పాత్రలను వెలితిచేసివారి జాడీలను పగులగొట్టెదరు.

12. So, behold, the days come, declares Jehovah, that I will send pourers to him, who shall pour him off, and shall empty his vessels, and break their jars in pieces.

13. ఇశ్రాయేలువారు తామాశ్రయించిన బేతేలునుబట్టి సిగ్గుపడినట్లు మోయాబీయులును కెమోషునుబట్టి సిగ్గుపడుచున్నారు

13. And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of their confidence in Bethel.

14. మేము బలాఢ్యులమనియు యుద్ధశూరులమనియు మీరెట్లు చెప్పుకొందురు?

14. How do you say, We are mighty and strong men for war?

15. మోయాబు పాడైపోవుచున్నది శత్రువులు దాని పట్టణములలో చొరబడుచున్నారు వారి యౌవనులలో శ్రేష్ఠులు వధకు పోవుచున్నారు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా అను పేరుగల రాజు సెలవిచ్చినమాట యిదే.

15. Moab is ravaged, and her cities have come up. And his chosen young men have gone down to the slaughter, says the King whose name is Jehovah of Hosts.

16. మోయాబునకు సమూలనాశనము సమీపించుచున్నది దానికి సంభవించు దుఃఖము త్వరపడి వచ్చుచున్నది.

16. The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his evil hurries fast.

17. దానిచుట్టునున్న మీరందరు దానినిగూర్చి అంగలార్చుడి దాని కీర్తినిగూర్చి విననివారలారా, అంగలార్చుడి బలమైన రాజదండము ప్రభావముగల రాజదండము విరిగిపోయెనే యని చెప్పుకొనుడి.

17. All who are around him mourn for him. And all who know his name, say, How the strong staff is broken, the beautiful rod!

18. దేబోనులో ఆసీనురాలై యుండుదానా, మోయాబును పాడుచేసినవాడు నీ మీదికి వచ్చు చున్నాడు. నీ కోటలను నశింపజేయుచున్నాడు. నీ గొప్పతనము విడిచి దిగిరమ్ముఎండినదేశములో కూర్చుండుము.

18. O dweller, daughter of Dibon, come down from glory and sit in thirst. For a ravager of Moab shall come on you; he has ruined your strongholds.

19. ఆరోయేరు నివాసీ, త్రోవలో నిలిచి కనిపెట్టుము పారిపోవుచున్న వారియొద్ద విచారించుము తప్పించుకొనిపోవుచున్నవారిని అడుగుము ఏమి జరిగినదో వారివలన తెలిసికొనుము.

19. O dweller of Aroer, stand by the way and watch. Ask him who flees and her who escapes; say, What has happened?

20. మోయాబు పడగొట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొంది యున్నది గోలయెత్తి కేకలువేయుము మోయాబు అపజయము నొందెను. అర్నోనులో ఈ సంగతి తెలియజెప్పుడి

20. Moab is put to shame, for it is torn down. Wail and cry! Tell it in Arnon that Moab is ravaged.

21. మైదానములోని దేశమునకు శిక్ష విధింపబడియున్నది హోలోనునకును యాహసునకును మేఫాతునకును దీబోనుకును

21. And judgment has come to the plain country, on Holon, and on Jahazah, and on Mephaath,

22. నెబోకును బేత్‌దిబ్లాతయీమునకును కిర్యతాయిమున కును బేత్గామూలునకును

22. and on Dibon, and on Nebo, and on Beth-diblathaim,

23. బేత్మెయోనునకును కెరీయోతునకును బొస్రాకును దూరమైనట్టియు సమీపమైనట్టియు

23. and on Kiriathaim, and on Beth-gamul, and on Beth-meon,

24. మోయాబుదేశ పురములన్నిటికిని శిక్ష విధింపబడి యున్నది.

24. and on Kerioth, and on Bozrah, and on all the cities of the land of Moab, far and near.

25. మోయాబు శృంగము నరికివేయబడియున్నది దాని బాహువు విరువబడియున్నది యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే.

25. The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, says Jehovah.

26. మోయాబు యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా తన్ను తాను గొప్పచేసికొనెను దాని మత్తిల్లజేయుడి మోయాబు తన వమనములో పొర్లుచున్నది అది అపహాస్యమునొందును.

26. Make Him drunk, for he magnified himself against Jehovah. Moab also shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be a mockery.

27. ఇశ్రాయేలును నీవు అపహాస్యాస్పదముగా ఎంచలేదా? అతడు దొంగలకు జతగాడైనట్టుగా నీవు అతనిగూర్చి పలుకునప్పుడెల్ల తల ఆడించుచు వచ్చితివి

27. For was not Israel a mockery to you? Was he found among thieves? For ever since you spoke of him, you lamented.

28. మోయాబు నివాసులారా, పట్టణములు విడువుడి కొండపేటు సందులలో గూడు కట్టుకొను గువ్వలవలె కొండలో కాపురముండుడి.

28. Dwellers of Moab, leave the cities, and live in the rock, and be like the dove who makes her nest in the sides of the mouth of the pit.

29. మోయోబీయుల గర్వమునుగూర్చి వింటిమి, వారు బహు గర్వపోతులు వారి అతిశయమునుగూర్చియు గర్వమునుగూర్చియు

29. We have heard the pride of Moab, he is exceeding proud; his loftiness, and his pride, and his arrogance, and his elevated heart.

30. అహంకారమునుగూర్చియు పొగరునుగూర్చియు మాకు సమాచారము వచ్చెను వారి తామసమును వచించరాని వారి ప్రగల్భములును నాకు తెలిసేయున్నవి చేయదగని క్రియలు వారు బహుగా చేయుచున్నారు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు

30. I have known, declares Jehovah, his wrath, and it is not so; his lie, they have not done so.

31. కాబట్టి మోయాబు నిమిత్తము నేను అంగలార్చు చున్నాను మోయాబు అంతటిని చూచి కేకలు వేయుచున్నాను వారు కీర్హరెశు జనులు లేకపోయిరని మొఱ్ఱపెట్టుచున్నారు.

31. On account of this I will wail for Moab, and I will cry out for all Moab, and he shall mourn for the men of Kirheres.

32. సిబ్మా ద్రాక్షవల్లీ, యాజెరునుగూర్చిన యేడ్పును మించునట్లు నేను నిన్నుగూర్చి యేడ్చుచున్నాను నీ తీగెలు ఈ సముద్రమును దాటి వ్యాపించెను అవి యాజెరుసముద్రమువరకు వ్యాపించెను నీ వేసవికాల ఫలములమీదను ద్రాక్షగెలలమీదను పాడుచేయువాడు పడెను.

32. O vine of Sibmah, I will weep for you more than the weeping of Jazer. Your plants have crossed the sea; they reach to the sea of Jazer. A ravager has fallen on your harvest, and on your grape crop.

33. ఫలభరితమైన పొలములోనుండియు మోయాబు దేశములోనుండియు ఆనందమును సంతోషమును తొలగిపోయెను ద్రాక్షగానుగలలో ద్రాక్షారసమును లేకుండ చేయు చున్నాను జనులు సంతోషించుచు త్రొక్కరు సంతోషము నిస్సంతోషమాయెను.

33. And joy and gladness is taken from the plentiful field, and from the land of Moab. And I have caused wine to cease from the winepresses. None shall tread the grapes with shouting; their shouting shall be no shouting.

34. నిమీములో నీళ్లు సహితము ఎండిపోయెను హెష్బోను మొదలుకొని ఏలాలేవరకును యాహసు వరకును సోయరు మొదలుకొని హొరొనయీమువరకును ఎగ్లాత్షాలిషావరకును జనులు కేకలువేయుచున్నారు.

34. From the city of Heshbon to Elealeh, to Jahaz, they have given their voice, from Zoar to Horonaim, like a heifer three years old. For the waters of Nimrim also shall be desolate.

35. ఉన్నతస్థలమున బలులు అర్పించువారిని దేవతలకు ధూపమువేయువారిని మోయాబులో లేకుండజేసెను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

35. Also I will cause him who offers in the high places to cease in Moab, says Jehovah, and he who burns incense to his gods.

36. వారు సంపాదించినదానిలో శేషించినది నశించి పోయెను మోయాబునుగూర్చి నా గుండె పిల్లనగ్రోవివలె నాదము చేయుచున్నది కీర్హరెశువారినిగూర్చి నా గుండె పిల్లనగ్రోవివలె వాగు చున్నది.

36. On account of this my heart shall mourn for Moab, like flutes; and my heart shall sound like flutes for the men of Kirheres, because the riches that he has gotten have perished.

37. నిశ్చయముగా ప్రతి తల బోడియాయెను ప్రతి గడ్డము గొరిగింపబడెను చేతులన్నిటిమీద నరుకులును నడుములమీద గోనెపట్టయు నున్నవి.

37. For every head shall be bald, and every beard clipped. On all the hands shall be cuttings, and sackcloth on the loins.

38. మోయాబు ఇంటి పైకప్పులన్నిటిమీదను దాని వీధులలోను అంగలార్పు వినబడుచున్నది ఒకడు పనికిమాలిన ఘటమును పగులగొట్టునట్లు నేను మోయాబును పగులగొట్టుచున్నాను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

38. On all Moab's housetops, and in its streets, is wailing for all. For I have broken Moab like a vessel; no pleasure is in it, says Jehovah.

39. అంగలార్చుడి మోయాబు సమూలధ్వంసమాయెను మోయాబూ, నీవు వెనుకకు తిరిగితివే, సిగ్గుపడుము. మోయాబు తన చుట్టునున్న వారికందరికి అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను భయకారణముగాను ఉండును.

39. They shall howl, saying, How it is broken down! How has Moab turned his back in shame! So Moab shall be a mockery, and a terror to all those around him.

40. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా పక్షిరాజు ఎగురునట్లు ఎగిరి అది మోయాబు మీద తన రెక్కలను చాపుచున్నది.

40. For so says Jehovah: Behold, he shall fly like an eagle, and shall spread his wings toward Moab.

41. కోటలు పడగొట్టబడియున్నవి దుర్గములు పట్టబడి యున్నవి. ఆ దినమున మోయాబు శూరుల హృదయము ప్రసవించు స్త్రీ హృదయమువలె ఉండును.

41. Kerioth is captured, and the strongholds are seized. And the mighty men's hearts in Moab shall be at that day like the heart of a woman being distressed.

42. మోయాబు యెహోవాకంటె గొప్పవాడనని అతిశయపడగా అది జనము కాకుండ నిర్మూలమాయెను.

42. And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he has magnified himself against Jehovah.

43. మోయాబు నివాసీ, భయమును గుంటయు ఉరియు నీమీదికి వచ్చియున్నవి

43. Fear, and the pit, and the snare, shall be on you, O one living in Moab, declares Jehovah.

44. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. భయము తప్పించుకొనుటకై పారిపోవువారు గుంటలో పడుదురు గుంటలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనువారు ఉరిలో చిక్కు కొందురు మోయాబుమీదికి విమర్శ సంవత్సరమును నేను రప్పించుచున్నాను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. దేశ పరిత్యాగులగువారు బలహీనులై హెష్బోనునీడలో నిలిచియున్నారు.

44. He who flees from the dread shall fall into the pit. And he who goes up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare. For I will bring it on Moab, the year of their punishment, declares Jehovah.

45. హెష్బోనులోనుండి అగ్నియు సీహోను మధ్యనుండి జ్వాలలును బయలుదేరి

45. Those who fled stood powerless in the shadow of Heshbon, for a fire shall come out of Heshbon, and a flame out of the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the sons of tumult.

46. మోయాబు శిరస్సును, సందడిచేయువారి నడినెత్తిని కాల్చివేయుచున్నవి. మోయాబూ, నీకు శ్రమ కెమోషుజనులు నశించియున్నారు నీ కుమారులు చెరపట్టబడిరి చెరపట్టబడినవారిలో నీ కుమార్తెలున్నారు.

46. Woe to you, Moab! The people of Chemosh have perished. For your sons are taken away into exile, and your daughters into exile.

47. అయితే అంత్యదినములలో చెరపట్టబడిన మోయాబు వారిని నేను తిరిగి రప్పించెదను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. ఇంతటితో మోయాబునుగూర్చిన శిక్షావిధి ముగిసెను.

47. But I will restore the prisoners of Moab in the end of the days, declares Jehovah. So far is the judgment of Moab.
