1. అన్యజనులనుగూర్చి ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన యెహోవా వాక్కు

2. ఐగుప్తునుగూర్చిన మాట, అనగా యోషీయా కుమారుడును యూదారాజునైన యెహోయాకీము ఏలుబడియందు నాలుగవ సంవత్సరమున నెబుకద్రెజరు కర్కెమీషులో యూఫ్రటీసునదిదగ్గర ఓడించిన ఫరోనెకో దండును గూర్చిన మాట.

2. against Egypt, against the army of Pharaoh-necho, king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, struck in the fourth year of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah:

3. డాలును కేడెమును స్థిరపరచుకొనుడి యుద్ధమునకు రండి

3. Set in order the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle.

4. గుఱ్ఱములను కట్టుడి, రౌతులారా, కవచము తొడిగి ఎక్కుడి శిరస్త్రాణములను ధరించుకొనుడి ఈటెలకు పదును పెట్టుడి కవచములు వేసికొనుడి.

4. Harness the horses, and mount, O horsemen. Yea, stand with helmets, polish the spears, put on coats of mail.

5. నాకేమి కనబడుచున్నది? వారు ఓడిపోవుచున్నారు వెనుకతీయుచున్నారు వారి బలాఢ్యులు అపజయము నొందుచున్నారు తిరిగిచూడక వేగిరముగా పారిపోవుచున్నారు ఎటుచూచిన భయమే; యెహోవా మాట యిదే.

5. Why have I seen that they are afraid and turned backward? And their mighty ones are beaten down, and have fled for refuge, and do not look back. Terror is all around, says Jehovah.

6. త్వరగ పరుగెత్తువారు పారిపోజాలకున్నారు బలాఢ్యులు తప్పించుకొనజాలకున్నారు ఉత్తరదిక్కున యూఫ్రటీసు నదీతీరమందు వారు తొట్రిల్లిపడుచున్నారు.

6. Do not let the swift flee away, nor the mighty man escape. They stumbled and fell to the north, by the side of the river Euphrates.

7. నైలునదీప్రవాహమువలె వచ్చు నితడెవడు? ఇతని జలములు నదులవలె ప్రవహించుచున్నవి

7. Who is this rising up like the Nile, whose waters surge about like the rivers?

8. ఐగుప్తీయుల దండు నైలునదివలె ప్రవహించుచున్నది. దాని జలములు తొణకునట్లుగా అది వచ్చుచున్నది. నేనెక్కి భూమిని కప్పెదనుపట్టణమును దాని నివాసులను నాశనము చేసెదను.

8. Egypt rises up like the Nile, and his waters surge about like the rivers. And he says, I will go up and will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and its people.

9. గుఱ్ఱములారా, యెగురుడి; రథములారా, రేగుడి బలాఢ్యులారా, బయలుదేరుడి డాళ్లు పట్టుకొను కూషీయులును పూతీయులును విలుకాండ్రైన లూదీయులును బయలుదేరవలెను.

9. Come up, horses; and rage, chariots! And let the mighty men come forth, the Ethiopians and the Libyans who handle the shield, and the Lydians who handle and tread the bow.

10. ఇది ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవాకు పగతీర్చు దినము. ఆయన తన శత్రువులకు ప్రతిదండనచేయును ఖడ్గము కడుపార తినును, అది తనివితీర రక్తము త్రాగును. ఉత్తర దేశములో యూఫ్రటీసునదియొద్ద ప్రభువును సైన్యముల కధిపతియునగు యెహోవా బలి జరి గింప బోవుచున్నాడు.

10. For this is the day of the Lord Jehovah of Hosts, a day of vengeance, that He may avenge Himself of His foes. And the sword shall devour, and be sated, and made drunk with their blood, for there is a sacrifice to the Lord Jehovah of Hosts in the north country by the river Euphrates.

11. ఐగుప్తుకుమారీ, కన్యకా, గిలాదునకు వెళ్లి గుగ్గిలము తెచ్చుకొనుము విస్తారమైన ఔషధములు తెచ్చుకొనుట వ్యర్థమే నీకు చికిత్స కలుగదు

11. Go up into Gilead and take balm, O virgin daughter of Egypt. In vain you shall use many remedies; healing is not for you.

12. నీకు సిగ్గుకలిగిన సంగతి జనములకు వినబడెను నీ రోదనధ్వని దేశమందంతట వినబడుచున్నది బలాఢ్యులు బలాఢ్యులను తగిలి కూలుచున్నారు ఒకనిమీద ఒకడు పడి అందరు కూలుదురు.

12. The nations have heard of your shame, and your cry has filled the land. For the mighty man has stumbled against the mighty; they have fallen together, both of them.

13. బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు బయలుదేరి వచ్చి ఐగుప్తీయులను హతముచేయుటను గూర్చి యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

13. The Word that Jehovah spoke to Jeremiah the prophet of the coming of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, to strike the land of Egypt.

14. ఐగుప్తులో తెలియజేయుడి మిగ్దోలులో ప్రకటింపుడి నొపులోను తహపనేసులోను ప్రకటనచేయుడి ఏమనగాఖడ్గము నీ చుట్టునున్న ప్రదేశములను మింగివేయుచున్నది మీరు లేచి ధైర్యము తెచ్చుకొనుడి.

14. Declare it in Egypt, and make it heard in Migdol, and make it heard in Noph and in Tahpanhes; say, Stand fast and get yourself ready, for the sword shall devour all around you.

15. నీలో బలవంతులైన వారేల తుడుపు పెట్టబడు చున్నారు? యెహోవా వారిని తోలివేయుచున్నాడు గనుకనే వారు నిలువకున్నారు.

15. Why is your mighty one swept away? He did not stand because Jehovah thrust him down.

16. ఆయన అనేకులను తొట్రిల్ల జేయుచున్నాడు వారొకనిమీద ఒకడు కూలుచు లెండి, క్రూరమైన ఖడ్గమును తప్పించుకొందము రండి మన స్వజనులయొద్దకు మన జన్మభూమికి వెళ్లుదము రండి అని వారు చెప్పుకొందురు.

16. He made many stumble; yea, one fell on his neighbor. And they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and to the land of our birth, away from the oppressing sword.

17. ఐగుప్తురాజగు ఫరో యుక్తసమయము పోగొట్టుకొను వాడనియు వట్టిధ్వని మాత్రమేయని వారచ్చట చాటించిరి.

17. They cried there, Pharaoh, king of Egypt, is an empty roar; he has passed the appointed time.

18. పర్వతములలో తాబోరు ఎట్టిదో సముద్రప్రాంతములలో కర్మెలు ఎట్టిదో నా జీవముతోడు అతడు అట్టివాడై వచ్చును రాజును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే.

18. As I live, says the King whose name is Jehovah of Hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel is by the sea, he shall come.

19. ఐగుప్తు నివాసులారా, నొపు పాడైపోవును అది నిర్జనమై కాల్చబడును ప్రయాణమునకు కావలసినవాటిని సిద్ధపరచుకొనుడి.

19. O daughter dwelling in Egypt, get ready to go into captivity. For Noph shall be a waste, and set afire, without inhabitant.

20. ఐగుప్తు అందమైన పెయ్య ఉత్తరదిక్కుననుండి జోరీగ వచ్చుచున్నది వచ్చే యున్నది.

20. Egypt is a beautiful heifer, but coming a stinger comes out of the north.

21. పరదేశులైన ఆమె కూలి సిఫాయిలు పెంపుడు దూడల వలె ఉన్నారు వారేగదా వెనుకతట్టు తిరిగిరి యొకడును నిలువకుండ పారిపోయిరి వారికి ఆపద్దినము వచ్చియున్నది శిక్షాదినము వారికాసన్నమాయెను.

21. Also her hired ones are in the midst of her like calves of the stall; for they also have turned back, fleeing together. They did not stand because the day of their calamity had come on them, the time of their punishment.

22. శత్రువులు దండెత్తి వచ్చుచున్నారు మ్రానులు నరుకువారివలె గొడ్డండ్లు పట్టుకొని దాని మీదికి వచ్చుచున్నారు ఆలకించుడి ఆమె ధ్వని ప్రాకిపోవు పాము చప్పుడు వలె వినబడుచున్నది యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే

22. Its sound is like a serpent's going, for they shall go in force, and come against her with axes, like woodcutters.

23. లెక్కలేనివారై మిడతలకన్న విస్తరింతురు చొర శక్యముకాని ఆమె అరణ్యమును నరికివేయు దురు.

23. They have cut down her forest, says Jehovah, though it cannot be searched, because they are more than the locusts, and there is no number to them.

24. ఐగుప్తు కూమారి అవమానపరచబడును ఉత్తరదేశస్థులకు ఆమె అప్పగింపబడును

24. The daughter of Egypt shall be ashamed. She shall be delivered into the hand of the people of the north.

25. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నోలోనుండు ఆమోను దేవతను ఫరోను ఐగుప్తును దాని దేవతలను దాని రాజులను ఫరోను అతని నాశ్రయించువారిని నేను దండించు చున్నాను.

25. Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, says, Behold, I am punishing the multitudes of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with her gods and her kings, even Pharaoh and those who trust in him.

26. వారి ప్రాణము తీయజూచు బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు చేతికిని అతని సేవకులచేతికిని వారిని అప్పగించుచున్నాను ఆ తరువాత అది మునుపటివలెనే నివాసస్థలమగును ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

26. And I will deliver them into the hand of those who seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants. And afterward it will be peopled, as in the days of old, declares Jehovah.

27. నా సేవకుడవైన యాకోబూ, భయపడకుము ఇశ్రాయేలూ, జడియకుము దూరములోనుండి నిన్ను రక్షించుచున్నాను వారున్న చెరలోనుండి నీ సంతతివారిని రక్షించుచున్నాను ఎవరి భయమును లేకుండ యాకోబు తిరిగివచ్చును అతడు నిమ్మళించి నెమ్మదినొందును.

27. But you, do not fear, O My servant Jacob; and do not dread, O Israel. For, behold, I am saving you from afar off, and your seed from the land of their exile. And Jacob shall return and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make afraid.

28. నా సేవకుడవైన యాకోబు, నేను నీకు తోడై యున్నాను భయపడకుము నేనెక్కడికి నిన్ను చెదరగొట్టితినో ఆ సమస్త దేశప్రజలను సమూల నాశనము చేసెదను అయితే నిన్ను సమూల నాశనము చేయను నిన్ను శిక్షింపక విడువను గాని న్యాయమునుబట్టి నిన్ను శిక్షించెదను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

28. You shall not fear, O Jacob My servant, says Jehovah, for I am with you. For I will make a full end of all the nations there where I have driven you. But I will not make a full end of you, but I will correct you justly, and I will not leave you unpunished.
