1. యెహోవాయొద్ద నుండి వచ్చి యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన వాక్కు.

1. The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

2. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు

2. Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write for thee all the words that I have spoken to thee in a book.

3. రాబోవు దినములలో నేను ఇశ్రాయేలువారును యూదావారునగు నా ప్రజలను చెరలోనుండి విడిపించి, వారి పితరులకు నేనిచ్చిన దేశమును వారు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనునట్లు వారిని తిరిగి రప్పించెదనని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు. కావున నేను నీతో చెప్పిన మాటలన్నిటిని ఒక పుస్తకములో వ్రాసియుంచుకొనుము.

3. For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captives of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

4. యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని గూర్చియు యూదా వారినిగూర్చియు సెలవిచ్చినమాటలివి.

4. And these [are] the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah.

5. యెహోవా యిట్లనెను సమాధానములేని కాలమున భీతిచేతను దిగులు చేతను జనులు కేకవేయగా వినుచున్నాము.

5. For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.

6. మీరు విచారించి తెలిసికొనుడి; పురుషులు ప్రసూతి వేదనతో పిల్లలను కందురా? ప్రసవవేదనపడు స్త్రీలవలె పురుషులందరును నడుముమీద చేతులుంచుకొనుటయు, వారి ముఖములు తెల్లబారుటయు నాకు కనబడుచున్నదేమి?

6. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? Why do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?

7. అయ్యో, యెంత భయంకరమైన దినము! అట్టి దినము మరియొకటి రాదు; అది యాకోబు సంతతివారికి ఆపద తెచ్చుదినము; అయినను వారు దానిలో పడకుండ రక్షింపబడుదురు.

7. Alas! for that day [is] great, so that none [is] like it: it [is] even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

8. సెన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు నీకున్న కాడి నీ మెడనుండకుండ ఆ దినమున నేను దాని విరిచి నీ కట్లను తెంపెదను; ఇకను అన్యులు యాకోబు సంతతివారిచేత దాస్యము చేయించుకొనరు గాని

8. For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, [that] I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more bring him into subjection:

9. వారు తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నగు నేను వారిమీద రాజుగా నియమించు దావీదును సేవించుదురు.

9. But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.

10. మరియు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నా సేవకుడవైన యాకోబూ, భయపడకుము; ఇశ్రాయేలూ, విస్మయమొందకుము, నేను దూరముననుండు నిన్నును, చెర లోనికి పోయిన దేశముననుండు నీ సంతానపువారిని రక్షించుచున్నాను; బెదరించువాడు లేకుండ యాకోబు సంతతి తిరిగి వచ్చి నిమ్మళించి నెమ్మది పొందును.

10. Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and quiet, and none shall make [him] afraid.

11. యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదేనిన్ను రక్షించుటకు నేను నీకు తోడైయున్నాను, నిన్ను చెదరగొట్టిన జనములన్నిటిని నేను సమూలనాశనము చేసెదను గాని నిన్ను సమూల నాశనము చేయను, అయితే ఏమాత్రమును నిర్దోషినిగా ఎంచకుండనే నిన్ను మితముగా శిక్షించుదును.

11. For I [am] with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations where I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

12. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడునీ వ్యాధి ఘోరమైనది, నీ గాయము బాధకరమైనది;

12. For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise [is] incurable, [and] thy wound [is] grievous.

13. నీ పాపములు విస్తరింపగా శత్రువు కొట్టినట్లు నీ గొప్ప దోషమును బట్టి నేను నీకు కఠినశిక్షచేసి నిన్ను గాయపరచియున్నాను; కాగా నీ పక్షమున వ్యాజ్యెమాడువాడెవడును లేడు, నీ గాయములకు చికిత్స చేయదగిన మందు నీకు లేదు.

13. [There is] none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.

14. నీ స్నేహితులందరు నిన్ను మరచియున్నారు, వారు నిన్ను గూర్చి విచారింపరు.

14. All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thy iniquity; [because] thy sins were increased.

15. నీ గాయముచేత నీవు అరచెదవేమి? నీకు కలిగిన నొప్పి నివారణ కాదు; నీ పాపములు విస్తరించినందున నీ దోషములనుబట్టి నేను నిన్ను ఈలాగు చేయుచున్నాను.

15. Why criest thou over thy affliction? thy sorrow [is] incurable for the multitude of thy iniquity: [because] thy sins were increased, I have done these things to thee.

16. నిన్ను మింగువారందరు మింగి వేయబడుదురు, నిన్ను బాధించువారందరు ఎవడును తప్పకుండ చెరలోనికి పోవుదురు, నిన్ను దోచుకొనువారు దోపుడు సొమ్మగుదురు, నిన్ను అపహరించువారినందరిని దోపుడు సొమ్ముగా అప్పగించెదను.

16. Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thy adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that plunder thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.

17. వారుఎవరును లక్ష్యపెట్టని సీయోననియు వెలివేయబడినదనియు నీకు పేరుపెట్టుచున్నారు; అయితే నేను నీకు ఆరోగ్యము కలుగజేసెదను నీ గాయములను మాన్పెదను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

17. For I will restore health to thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, [saying], This [is] Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

18. యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుయాకోబు నివాసస్థలములను కరుణించి వాని గుడారములను నేను చెరలోనుండి రప్పింతును; అప్పుడు పట్టణము దాని కొండమీద కట్టబడును, నగరియు యథాప్రకారము నివాసులుగలదగును.

18. Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captives of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be built upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after its manner.

19. వాటిలో కృతజ్ఞతాస్తోత్రములను సంభ్రమ పడువారి స్వరమును వినబడును, జనులు తక్కువ మంది కాకుండ నేను వారిని విస్తరింపజేసెదను, అల్పులు కాకుండ నేను వారిని ఘనులుగా జేసెదను.

19. And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

20. వారి కుమా రులు మునుపటివలెనుందురు, వారి సమాజము నా యెదుట స్థాపింపబడును, వారిని బాధపరచువారి నందరిని శిక్షించెదను.

20. Their children also shall be as in former time, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.

21. వారిలో పుట్టినవాడు వారికి రాజుగా ఉండును, వారి మధ్యను పుట్టినవాడొకడు వారి నేలును, నా సమీపమునకు వచ్చుటకు ధైర్యము తెచ్చుకొనువాడెవడు? నా సన్నిధికి వచ్చునట్లుగా నేను వానిని చేరదీసెదను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

21. And their nobles shall be from themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach to me: for who [is] this that engaged his heart to approach to me? saith the LORD.

22. అప్పుడు మీరు నాకు ప్రజలై యుందురు నేను మీకు దేవుడనై యుందును.

22. And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

23. ఇదిగో యెహోవా మహోగ్రతయను పెనుగాలి బయలుదేరుచున్నది, అది గిరగిర తిరుగు సుడిగాలి, అది దుష్టులమీద పెళ్లున దిగును.

23. Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.

24. తన కార్యము ముగించు వరకు తన హృదయాలోచనలను నెరవేర్చువరకు యెహోవా కోపాగ్ని చల్లారదు, అంత్యదినములలో మీరీ సంగతిని గ్రహింతురు.

24. The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he hath done [it], and until he hath performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.
