1. యూదారాజైన సిద్కియా యేలుబడి ఆరంభమున నాల్గవ సంవత్సరము అయిదవ నెలలో గిబియోనువాడును ప్రవక్తయును అజ్జూరు కుమారుడునైన హనన్యా యాజకుల యెదుటను ప్రజలందరియెదుటను యెహోవా మందిరములో నాతో ఈలాగనెను.

1. And it cometh to pass, in that year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, spoken unto me hath Hananiah son of Azur the prophet, who [is] of Gibeon, in the house of Jehovah, before the eyes of the priests, and all the people, saying,

2. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను బబులోనురాజు కాడిని విరిచియున్నాను.

2. 'Thus spake Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon;

3. రెండు సంవత్సరములలోగా బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు ఈ స్థలములోనుండి బబులోనునకు తీసికొనిపోయిన యెహోవా మందిరపు ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని ఇచ్చటికి మరల తెప్పించెదను.

3. Within two years of days I am bringing back unto this place all the vessels of the house of Jehovah that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon hath taken from this place, and doth carry to Babylon,

4. బబులోను రాజు కాడిని విరుగగొట్టి యెహోయాకీము కుమారుడును యూదారాజునైన యెకోన్యాను, బబులోనునకు చెరగొని పోయిన యూదులనందిరిని, యీ స్థలమునకు తిరిగి రప్పించెదను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

4. And Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the removed of Judah, who are entering Babylon, I am bringing back unto this place -- an affirmation of Jehovah; for I do break the yoke of the king of Babylon.'

5. అప్పుడు ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా యాజకులయెదుటను యెహోవా మందిరములో నిలుచుచున్న ప్రజలందరి యెదుటను ప్రవక్తయైన హనన్యాతో ఇట్లనెను

5. And Jeremiah the prophet saith unto Hananiah the prophet, before the eyes of the priests, and before the eyes of all the people who are standing in the house of Jehovah,

6. ఆలాగున జరుగునుగాక, యెహోవా ఆలాగుననే చేయునుగాక, యెహోవా మందిరపు ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని, చెరగొనిపోబడిన వారి నందరిని యెహోవా బబులోనులోనుండి ఈ స్థలమునకు తెప్పించి నీవు ప్రకటించిన మాటలను నెరవేర్చునుగాక.

6. Yea, Jeremiah the prophet saith, 'Amen! so may Jehovah do; Jehovah establish thy words that thou hast prophesied, to bring back the vessels of the house of Jehovah and all the removal from Babylon, unto this place.

7. అయినను నేను నీ చెవులలోను ఈ ప్రజలందరి చెవులలోను చెప్పుచున్న మాటను చిత్తగించి వినుము.

7. 'Only, hear, I pray thee, this word that I am speaking in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people.

8. నాకును నీకును ముందుగా నున్న ప్రవక్తలు, అనేకదేశములకు మహారాజ్యములకు విరోధముగా యుద్ధములు జరుగుననియు, కీడు సంభవించుననియు, తెగులుకలుగుననియు పూర్వకాలమందు ప్రకటించుచు వచ్చిరి.

8. The prophets who have been before me, and before thee, from of old, even they prophesy concerning many lands, and concerning great kingdoms, of battle, and of evil, and of pestilence.

9. అయితే క్షేమము కలుగునని ప్రకటించు ప్రవక్త యున్నాడే, అతని మాట నెరవేరినయెడల యెహోవా నిజముగా అతని పంపెనని యొప్పుకొనదగునని ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా చెప్పగా

9. The prophet who doth prophesy of peace -- by the coming in of the word of the prophet, known is the prophet that Jehovah hath truly sent him.'

10. ప్రవక్తయైన హనన్యా ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా మెడ మీదనుండి ఆ కాడిని తీసి దాని విరిచి

10. And Hananiah the prophet taketh the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, and breaketh it,

11. ప్రజలందరి యెదుట ఇట్లనెను యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు రెండు సంవత్సరములలోగా నేను బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు కాడిని సర్వజనముల మెడమీద నుండి తొలగించి దాని విరిచివేసెదను; అంతట ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా వెళ్లిపోయెను.

11. And Hananiah speaketh before the eyes of all the people, saying, 'Thus said Jehovah, Thus I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, within two years of days, from off the neck of all the nations;' and Jeremiah the prophet goeth on his way.

12. ప్రవక్తయైన హనన్యా ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా మెడ మీదనున్న కాడిని విరిచిన తరువాత యెహోవా వాక్కు యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

12. And there is a word of Jehovah unto Jeremiah after the breaking, by Hananiah the prophet, of the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, saying,

13. నీవు పోయి హనన్యాతో ఇట్లనుము యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నీవు కొయ్యకాడిని విరిచితివే, దానికి ప్రతిగా ఇనుపకాడిని చేయించవలెను.

13. 'Go, and thou hast spoken unto Hananiah, saying, Thus said Jehovah, Yokes of wood thou hast broken, and I have made instead of them yokes of iron;

14. ఇశ్రా యేలు దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఈ జనులందరును బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరునకు దాసులు కావలెనని వారి మెడమీద ఇనుపకాడి యుంచితిని గనుక వారు అతనికి దాసులగుదురు, భూజంతువులను కూడ నేను అతనికి అప్పగించియున్నాను.

14. For thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, A yoke of iron I have put on the neck of all these nations to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they have served him, and also the beast of the field I have given to him.'

15. అంతట ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా ప్రవక్తయైన హనన్యాతో ఇట్లనెనుహనన్యా వినుము;యెహోవా నిన్ను పంపలేదు, ఈ ప్రజలను అబద్ధమును ఆశ్రయింపజేయుచున్నావు.

15. And Jeremiah the prophet saith unto Hananiah the prophet, 'Hear, I pray thee, O Hananiah; Jehovah hath not sent thee, and thou hast caused this people to trust on falsehood.

16. కాగా యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుభూమిమీద నుండి నేను నిన్ను కొట్టివేయుచున్నాను, యెహోవా మీద తిరుగుబాటుచేయుటకై నీవు జనులను ప్రేరేపించితివి గనుక ఈ సంవత్సరము నీవు మరణమౌదువు అని చెప్పెను.

16. Therefore thus said Jehovah, Lo, I am casting thee from off the face of the ground; this year thou diest, for apostasy thou hast spoken concerning Jehovah.'

17. ఆ సంవత్సరమే యేడవ నెలలో ప్రవక్తయైన హనన్యా మృతినొందెను.

17. And Hananiah the prophet dieth in that year, in the seventh month.
