1. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు

1. GOD said to me, 'Go, buy a clay pot. Then get a few leaders from the people and a few of the leading priests

2. నీవు వెళ్లి కుమ్మరి చేయు మంటి కూజాను కొని, జనుల పెద్దలలో కొందరిని యాజకుల పెద్దలలో కొందరిని పిలుచు కొనిపోయి, హర్సీతు గుమ్మపు ద్వారమునకు ఎదురుగా నున్న బెన్‌హిన్నోము లోయలోనికిపోయి నేను నీతో చెప్పబోవు మాటలు అక్కడ ప్రకటింపుము.

2. and go out to the Valley of Ben-hinnom, just outside the Potsherd Gate, and preach there what I tell you.

3. 'Say, 'Listen to GOD's Word, you kings of Judah and people of Jerusalem! This is the Message from GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies, the God of Israel. I'm about to bring doom crashing down on this place. Oh, and will ears ever ring!

4. ఏలయనగా వారు నన్ను విసర్జించి యీ స్థలములో అపచారము చేసి యున్నారు, వారైనను వారి తండ్రులైనను యూదా రాజు లైనను ఎరుగని అన్యదేవతలకు దానిలో ధూపము వేసి నిరపరాధుల రక్తముచేత ఈ స్థలమును నింపిరి

4. Doom--because they've walked off and left me, and made this place strange by worshiping strange gods, gods never heard of by them, their parents, or the old kings of Judah. Doom--because they have massacred innocent people.

5. నేను విధింపనిదియు సెలవియ్యనిదియు నా మనస్సునకు తోచ నిదియునైన ఆచారము నాచరించిరి; తమ కుమారులను దహనబలులుగా కాల్చుటకై బయలునకు బలిపీఠములను కట్టించిరి.

5. Doom--because they've built altars to that no-god Baal, and burned their own children alive in the fire as offerings to Baal, an atrocity I never ordered, never so much as hinted at!

6. ఇందునుబట్టి యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చు మాట ఏదనగా రాబోవు దినములలో ఈ స్థలము హత్య లోయ అనబడును గాని తోఫెతు అనియైనను బెన్‌ హిన్నోము లోయ అనియైనను పేరు వాడబడదు.

6. ''And so it's pay day, and soon'--GOD's Decree!--'this place will no longer be known as Topheth or Valley of Ben-hinnom, but Massacre Meadows.

7. తమ శత్రువుల యెదుట ఖడ్గముచేతను, తమ ప్రాణములనుతీయ వెదకువారిచేతను వారిని కూలజేసి, ఆకాశ పక్షులకును భూజంతువులకును ఆహారముగా వారి కళే బరములను ఇచ్చి, ఈ స్థలములోనే యూదావారి ఆలోచనను యెరూషలేమువారి ఆలోచనను నేను వ్యర్థము చేసెదను.

7. I'm canceling all the plans Judah and Jerusalem had for this place, and I'll have them killed by their enemies. I'll stack their dead bodies to be eaten by carrion crows and wild dogs.

8. ఆ మార్గమున పోవు ప్రతివాడును ఆశ్చర్య పడి దానికి కలిగిన యిడుమలన్నిటిని చూచి అపహాస్యము చేయునంతగా ఈ పట్టణమును పాడు గాను అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను నేను చేసెదను.

8. I'll turn this city into such a museum of atrocities that anyone coming near will be shocked speechless by the savage brutality.

9. వారు తమ కూమారుల మాంసమును తమ కుమార్తెల మాంసమును తినునట్లు చేసెదను; తమ ప్రాణము తీయ వెదకు శత్రువులు తమకు ఇబ్బందికలిగించుటకై వేయు ముట్టడిని బట్టియు దానివలన కలిగిన యిబ్బందినిబట్టియు వారిలో ప్రతివాడు తన చెలికాని మాంసము తినును.

9. The people will turn into cannibals. Dehumanized by the pressure of the enemy siege, they'll eat their own children! Yes, they'll eat one another, family and friends alike.'

10. ఈ మాటలు చెప్పినతరువాత నీతోకూడ వచ్చిన మనుష్యులు చూచుచుండగా నీవు ఆ కూజాను పగులగొట్టి వారితో ఈలాగనవలెను

10. 'Say all this, and then smash the pot in front of the men who have come with you.

11. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మరల బాగుచేయ నశక్యమైన కుమ్మరి పాత్రను ఒకడు పగులగొట్టునట్లు నేను ఈ జనమును ఈ పట్టణమును పగులగొట్ట బోవుచున్నాను; తోఫెతులో పాతిపెట్టుటకు స్థలములేక పోవునంతగా వారు అక్కడనే పాతిపెట్టబడుదురు.

11. Then say, 'This is what GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies says: I'll smash this people and this city like a man who smashes a clay pot into so many pieces it can never be put together again. They'll bury bodies here in Topheth until there's no more room.

12. యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే ఈ పట్టణమును తోఫెతువంటి స్థలముగా నేను చేయుదును, ఈ స్థలమునకును దాని నివాసులకును నేనాలాగున చేయుదును.

12. And the whole city will become a Topheth.

13. యెరూషలేము ఇండ్లును యూదారాజుల నగరులును ఆ తోఫెతు స్థలమువలెనే అపవిత్రములగును; ఏ యిండ్లమీద జనులు ఆకాశ సమూహమను దేవతలకు ధూపము వేయుదురో, లేక అన్యదేవతలకు పానార్పణములనర్పించుదురో ఆ యిండ్లన్నిటికి ఆలాగే జరుగును.

13. The city will be turned by people and kings alike into a center for worshiping the star gods and goddesses, turned into an open grave, the whole city an open grave, stinking like a sewer, like Topheth.''

14. ఆ ప్రవచనము చెప్పుటకు యెహోవా తన్ను పంపిన తోఫెతులోనుండి యిర్మీయా వచ్చి యెహోవా మందిరపు ఆవరణములో నిలిచి జనులందరితో ఈలాగు చెప్పెను.

14. Then Jeremiah left Topheth, where GOD had sent him to preach the sermon, and took his stand in the court of GOD's Temple and said to the people,

15. సైన్యములకధిపతియు ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడునగు యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఈ జనులు నా మాటలు వినకుండ మొండికి తిరిగియున్నారు గనుక ఈ పట్టణమునుగూర్చి నేను చెప్పిన కీడంతయు దాని మీదికిని దానితో సంబంధించిన పట్టణములన్నిటిమీదికిని రప్పించుచున్నాను.

15. 'This is the Message from GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies to you: 'Warning! Danger! I'm bringing down on this city and all the surrounding towns the doom that I have pronounced. They're set in their ways and won't budge. They refuse to do a thing I say.''
