1. యెహోవా, నేను నీతో వాదించునప్పుడు నీవు నీతిమంతుడవుగా కనబడుదువు; అయినను న్యాయము విధించుటనుగూర్చి నేను నీతో మాటలాడుదును; దుష్టులు తమ మార్గములలో వర్ధిల్లనేల? మహా విశ్వాసఘాతకులు సుఖింపనేల?

1. Righteous art thou, Jehovah, when I plead with thee; yet will I speak with thee of [thy] judgments. Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? [wherefore] are all they at ease that deal very treacherously?

2. నీవు వారిని నాటుచున్నావు, వారు వేరు తన్నుచున్నారు, వారు ఎదిగి ఫలముల నిచ్చుచున్నారు; వారి నోటికి నీవు సమీపముగా ఉన్నావు గాని వారి అంతరింద్రియములకు దూరముగా ఉన్నావు.

2. Thou hast planted them, they also have taken root: they advance, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, but far from their reins.

3. యెహోవా, నీవు నన్నెరిగియున్నావు; నన్ను చూచు చున్నావు; నా హృదయము నీ పట్ల ఎట్లున్నది నీవు శోధించుచున్నావు; వధకు ఏర్పడిన గొఱ్ఱెలనువలె వారిని హతముచేయుము, వధదినమునకు వారిని ప్రతిష్ఠించుము.

3. But thou, Jehovah, knowest me; thou hast seen me, and proved my heart toward thee. Drag them out like sheep for the slaughter, and set them apart for the day of slaughter.

4. భూమి యెన్నాళ్లు దుఃఖింపవలెను? దేశమంతటిలోని గడ్డి ఎన్నాళ్లు ఎండిపోవలెను? అతడు మన అంతము చూడడని దుష్టులు చెప్పుకొనుచుండగా దేశములో నివసించువారి చెడుతనమువలన జంతువులును పక్షులును సమసిపోవు చున్నవి.

4. How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of all the fields wither? Because of the wickedness of them that dwell therein, the beasts and the birds perish; for they say, He will not see our end.

5. నీవు పాదచారులతో పరుగెత్తగా వారు నిన్ను అలయగొట్టిరి గదా? నీవు రౌతులతో ఏలాగు పోరాడుదువు? నెమ్మదిగల స్థలమున నీవు క్షేమముగా ఉన్నావుగదా? యొర్దాను ప్రవాహముగా వచ్చునప్పుడు నీవేమి చేయుదువు?

5. If thou hast run with footmen, and they have wearied thee, how wilt thou then contend with horses? And if in a land of peace thou thinkest thyself in security, how wilt thou then do in the swelling of the Jordan?

6. నీ సహోదరులు సహితము నీ తండ్రి ఇంటివారు సహితము నీకు ద్రోహము చేయుచున్నారు; నీ వెంబడి గేలిచేయుదురు, వారు నీతో దయగా మాటలాడుచున్నను నీవు వారిని నమ్మకూడదు.

6. For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee, even they have cried aloud after thee. Believe them not, though they speak good [words] unto thee.

7. I have forsaken my house, I have cast off my heritage, I have given the beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.

8. నా స్వాస్థ్యము నాకు అడవిలోని సింహమువంటిదాయెను; ఆమె నామీద గర్జించుచున్నది గనుక నేను ఆమెకు విరోధినైతిని.

8. My heritage is become unto me as a lion in the forest; it hath raised its voice against me: therefore have I hated it.

9. నా స్వాస్థ్యము నాకు పొడల పొడల క్రూరపక్షి ఆయెనా? క్రూరపక్షులు దానిచుట్టు కూడుచున్నవా? రండి అడవిజంతువులన్నిటిని పోగు చేయుడి; మింగివేయుటకై అవి రావలెను.

9. My heritage is unto me [as] a speckled bird of prey; the birds of prey round about are against her. Go, assemble all the beasts of the field, bring them to devour.

10. కాపరులనేకులు నా ద్రాక్షతోటలను చెరిపివేసియున్నారు, నా సొత్తును త్రొక్కివేసియున్నారు; నాకిష్టమైన పొలమును పాడుగాను ఎడారిగాను చేసియున్నారు.

10. Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness:

11. వారు దాని పాడు చేయగా అది పాడై నన్ను చూచి దుఃఖించుచున్నది; దానిగూర్చి చింతించువాడొకడును లేడు గనుక దేశమంతయు పాడాయెను.

11. they have made it a desolation; desolate, it mourneth unto me: the whole land is made desolate, for no man layeth it to heart.

12. పాడుచేయువారు అరణ్య మందలి చెట్లులేని మెట్టలన్నిటిమీదికి వచ్చుచున్నారు; దేశముయొక్క యీ కొననుండి ఆ కొనవరకు యెహోవా ఖడ్గము తిరుగుచు హతము చేయుచున్నది; శరీరులకు క్షేమ మేమియు లేదు.

12. Spoilers are come upon all heights in the wilderness; for the sword of Jehovah devoureth from one end of the land even to the [other] end of the land: no flesh hath peace.

13. జనులు గోధుమలు చల్లి ముండ్లపంట కోయుదురు; వారు అలసట పడుచున్నారు గాని ప్రయోజనము లేకపోయెను; యెహోవా కోపాగ్నివలన కోతకు పంటలేక మీరు సిగ్గుపడుదురు.

13. They have sown wheat, and they reap thorns; they have put themselves to pain, [and] do not profit. Be ye therefore ashamed of your revenues, because of the fierce anger of Jehovah.

14. నేను నాజనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలునకు స్వాధీనపరచిన స్వాస్థ్యము నాక్రమించుకొను దుష్టులగు నా పొరుగు వారినిగూర్చి యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడునేను వారి దేశములోనుండి వారిని పెల్లగింతును; మరియు వారి మధ్యనుండి యూదావారిని పెల్లగింతును.

14. Thus saith Jehovah against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit: Behold, I will pluck them up out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.

15. వారిని పెల్లగించిన తరువాత నేను మరల వారియెడల జాలిపడు దును; ఒక్కొకని తన స్వాస్థ్యమునకును ఒక్కొకని తన దేశమునకును వారిని రప్పింతును.

15. And it shall come to pass, after I have plucked them up, I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them back, each one to his inheritance, and each one to his land.

16. బయలుతోడని ప్రమాణము చేయుట వారు నా ప్రజలకు నేర్పినట్లుగా యెహోవా జీవము తోడని నా నామమునుబట్టి ప్రమాణము చేయుటకై తాము నా ప్రజలమార్గములను జాగ్రత్తగా నేర్చుకొనిన యెడల వారు నా ప్రజలమధ్య వర్ధిల్లుదురు.

16. And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, [As] Jehovah liveth -- even as they taught my people to swear by Baal -- they shall be built up in the midst of my people.

17. అయితే వారు నా మాట విననొల్లని యెడల నేను ఆ జనమును వేరుతో పెల్లగించి బొత్తిగా నాశనము చేతును; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

17. And if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith Jehovah.
