1. నీకు వెలుగు వచ్చియున్నది, లెమ్ము, తేజరిల్లుము యెహోవా మహిమ నీమీద ఉదయించెను.

1. Flee for safety, you+ sons of Benjamin, out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and raise up a signal on Beth-haccherem; for evil looks forth from the north, and a great destruction.

2. The comely and delicate one, the daughter of Zion, I will cut off.

3. Shepherds with their flocks will come to her; they will pitch their tents against her round about; they will shepherd every one in his place.

4. కన్నులెత్తి చుట్టు చూడుము వీరందరు కూడుకొని నీయొద్దకు వచ్చుచున్నారు నీ కుమారులు దూరమునుండి వచ్చుచున్నారు నీ కుమార్తెలు చంకనెత్తబడి వచ్చుచున్నారు.

4. Prepare+ war against her; arise, and let us go up at noon. Woe to us! For the day declines, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out.

5. నీవు చూచి ప్రకాశింతువు నీ గుండె కొట్టుకొనుచు ఉప్పొంగును సముద్రవ్యాపారము నీ వైపు త్రిప్పబడును జనముల ఐశ్వర్యము నీయొద్దకు వచ్చును.

5. Arise, and let us go up by night, and let us destroy her palaces.

6. ఒంటెల సమూహము మిద్యాను ఏయిఫాల లేత ఒంటె లును నీ దేశముమీద వ్యాపించును వారందరు షేబనుండి వచ్చెదరు బంగారమును ధూపద్రవ్యమును తీసికొనివచ్చెదరు యెహోవా స్తోత్రములను ప్రకటించెదరు.

6. For thus has Yahweh of hosts said, Cut+ down trees, and cast up a mound against Jerusalem: this is the city to be visited; she is wholly oppression in the midst of her.

7. నీ కొరకు కేదారు గొఱ్ఱెమందలన్నియు కూడుకొనును? నెబాయోతు పొట్లేళ్లు నీ పరిచర్యకు ఉపయోగములగును అవి నా బలిపీఠముమీద అంగీకారములగును నా శృంగార మందిరమును నేను శృంగారించెదను.

7. As a well casts forth its waters, so she casts forth her wickedness: violence and destruction is heard in her; before me continually is sickness and wounds.

8. మేఘమువలెను ఎగయు గువ్వలవలెను గూళ్లకు ఎగసి వచ్చు వీరెవరు?

8. Be instructed, O Jerusalem, or else my soul will be alienated from you; and I will make you a desolation, a land not inhabited.

9. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నామమునుబట్టి ఆయన నిన్ను శృంగారించినందున ఇశ్రాయేలు పరిశుద్ధదేవుని నామమునుబట్టి దూరమునుండి నీ కుమారులను తమ వెండి బంగారము లను తీసికొని వచ్చుటకు ద్వీపములు నాకొరకు కనిపెట్టుకొనుచున్నవి తర్షీషు ఓడలు మొదట వచ్చుచున్నవి.

9. Thus says Yahweh of hosts, They will thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn again your hand as a grape-gatherer into the baskets.

10. అన్యులు నీ ప్రాకారములను కట్టుదురు వారి రాజులు నీకు ఉపచారము చేయుదురు ఏలయనగా నేను కోపపడి నిన్ను కొట్టితినిగాని కటాక్షించి నీ మీద జాలిపడుచున్నాను.

10. To whom shall I speak and testify, that they may hear? Look, their ear is uncircumcised, and they can't listen: look, the word of Yahweh has become to them a reproach; they have no delight in it.

11. నీయొద్దకు జనముల భాగ్యము తేబడునట్లు వారి రాజులు జయోత్సాహముతో రప్పింపబడునట్లు నీ ద్వారములు రాత్రింబగళ్లు వేయబడక నిత్యము తెరువబడి యుండును.

11. Therefore I am full of the wrath of Yahweh; I am weary with holding in: pour it out on the children in the street, and on the assembly of young men together; for even the husband with the wife will be taken, the aged with him who is full of days.

12. నిన్ను సేవింపనొల్లని జనమైనను రాజ్యమైనను నిలువదు అట్టి జనములు నిర్మూలము చేయబడును.

12. And their houses will be turned to others, their fields and their wives together; for I will stretch out my hand on the inhabitants of the land, says Yahweh.

13. నా పరిశుద్ధాలయపు అలంకారము నిమిత్తమై లెబానోను శ్రేష్ఠమైన దేవదారు వృక్షములును సరళవృక్షములును గొంజిచెట్లును నీయొద్దకు తేబడును నేను నా పాదస్థలమును మహిమపరచెదను.

13. For from the least of them even to the greatest of them everyone is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even to the priest everyone deals falsely.

14. నిన్ను బాధించినవారి సంతానపువారు నీ యెదుటికి వచ్చి సాగిలపడెదరు నిన్ను తృణీకరించినవారందరు వచ్చి నీ పాదములమీద పడెదరు. యెహోవా పట్టణమనియు ఇశ్రాయేలు పరిశుద్ధ దేవుని సీయోననియు నీకు పేరు పెట్టెదరు.

14. They have healed also the hurt of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

15. నీవు విసర్జింపబడుటనుబట్టియు ద్వేషింపబడుటను బట్టియు ఎవడును నీ మార్గమున దాటిపోవుట లేదు. నిన్ను శాశ్వత శోభాతిశయముగాను బహు తరములకు సంతోషకారణముగాను చేసెదను.

15. They were ashamed when they did these disgusting things. But, they did not feel ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they will fall among those who fall; at the time that I visit them they will be cast down, says Yahweh.

16. యెహోవానగు నేను నీ రక్షకుడననియు బహు పరాక్రమముగల యాకోబు దేవుడనగు నీ విమోచకుడననియు నీకు తెలియబడునట్లు నీవు జనముల పాలు కుడిచి రాజుల చంటి పాలు త్రాగెదవు.

16. Thus says Yahweh, Stand+ in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way; and walk in it, and you+ will find rest for your+ souls: but they said, We will not walk [in it].

17. నేను ఇత్తడికి ప్రతిగా బంగారమును తెచ్చుచున్నాను ఇనుమునకు ప్రతిగా వెండిని కఱ్ఱకు ప్రతిగా ఇత్తడిని రాళ్లకు ప్రతిగా ఇనుమును తెచ్చుచున్నాను. సమాధానమును నీకధికారులుగానునీతిని నీకు విచారణకర్తలుగాను నియమించుచున్నాను.

17. And I set watchmen over you+, [saying,] Listen to the sound of the trumpet; but they said, We will not listen.

18. ఇకను నీ దేశమున బలాత్కారమను మాట వినబడదు నీ సరిహద్దులలో పాడు అను మాటగాని నాశనము అను మాటగాని వినబడదు రక్షణయే నీకు ప్రాకారములనియు ప్రఖ్యాతియే నీ గుమ్మములనియు నీవు చెప్పుకొందువు.

18. Therefore hear, you+ nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.

19. ఇకమీదట పగలు సూర్యుని ప్రకాశము నీకు వెలుగుగా ఉండదు నీకు వెలుగిచ్చుటకై చంద్రుడు ఇకను ప్రకాశింపడు యెహోవాయే నీకు నిత్యమైన వెలుగవును నీ దేవుడు నీకు భూషణముగా ఉండును.

19. Hear, O earth: look, I will bring evil on this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not listened to my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it.

20. నీ సూర్యుడికను అస్తమింపడు నీ చంద్రుడు క్షీణింపడు యెహోవాయే నీకు నిత్యమైన వెలుగుగా ఉండును నీ దుఃఖదినములు సమాప్తములగును.

20. To what purpose does frankincense from Sheba come to me, and the sweet cane from a far country? Your+ burnt-offerings are not acceptable, nor your+ sacrifices pleasing to me.

21. నీ జనులందరు నీతిమంతులై యుందురు నన్ను నేను మహిమపరచుకొనునట్లు వారు నేను నాటిన కొమ్మగాను నేను చేసిన పనిగాను ఉండి దేశమును శాశ్వతముగా స్వతంత్రించుకొందురు.

21. Therefore thus says Yahweh, Look, I will lay stumbling-blocks before this people; and the fathers and the sons together will stumble against them; the neighbor and his fellow man will perish.

22. వారిలో ఒంటరియైనవాడు వేయిమందియగును ఎన్నికలేనివాడు బలమైన జనమగును యెహోవానగు నేను తగినకాలమున ఈ కార్యమును త్వరపెట్టుదును.

22. Thus says Yahweh, Look, a people comes from the north country; and a great nation will be stirred up from the uttermost parts of the earth.
